Hotel facilities are good, new, and the room is big. Everything in the room is modern and especially the beds and pillows. Both the queen size and the double size, pillows, are very comfortable and all family members were able to sleep within 10 minutes on the beds. Location is excellent, many scenic or historical sites are within walking distance.

We stayed for one night only, the hotel is alright overall. The good thing is the room is clean and some of the rooms has good view. And I think they hotel has two sides you should be able to see either sunrise or sunset from your room. The location is right in the city center very close to the main attractions. Here are things that I didn’t like, the room design is a bit strange as they have strangely big bathroom, almost as big as the room. The flushing button on the toilet is a bit inconveniant. The building itself is very old though the hotel is newly renovated. I also didn’t like the air con design as it’s not good at cooling the room, the bed near the window feels quite hot compare to the bathroom and the other bed. Some of the galss are sound proof glass but some are not, so there is slight noise if you sleep near the window.

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. We mainly used their laundry service which was excellent. There was a great variety of food for the breakfast buffet which we did enjoy.

Very friendly staff. Convenient location. A good breakfast spread and love the dessert for supper. Will be visiting and staying in this hotel again.

Modern hotel and in walking distance to all attractions. Rooms are very spacious and clean.

This is a newly opened hotel which provides clean room and decent breakfast with west and Chinese food selections. Room is spacious. Happy overall.

I loved the location of the hotel it's not far from the railway station. The service was exceptional, they were very helpful and suggested things we can do in Guilin and their breakfast was very good. I'd stay there again

Pros: location. A few minutes away from the pedestrian streets and the sun moon pagodas so it’s slightly more quiet but still extremely convenient. There is a laundry room on site with two washing machines and two dryers, even though one dryer was out during my stay there but staff were unaware of if. Cons: Hotel is fairly new so it still smells quite heavy of construction. Cleanliness can be improved - at first glance everything looks clean until I moved the coffee table and found a whole lot of seed shells underneath 😰 corners are dusty, the kettle was not cleaned from the previous tenant. My biggest complain would be security of the hotel - I needed an extra keycard but the front desk did not ask me for any kind of ID verification, all she asked was my room number and gave me a new key card. Staff needs serious safety training.

Great Location and walking distance to food street

I recommend this hotel when I travel to Guilin with my parents and children. The facilities are very new, the bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast Guilin rice noodles are delicious. The location is particularly good, just next to the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, a five-minute walk. After watching the night view of the twin towers at night, there are late-night desserts to warm your stomach. It is also within walking distance to the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Pedestrian Street, which is especially suitable for the elderly or children who can't walk too long. The fresh cut flowers at the door are beautiful, and the lobby is not big, but very warm. The front desk is warm and considerate, and you can see the long karst mountains from the corridor window. The weather that originally rained early in the morning cleared up before going out. They are all small happiness on the journey~

I drove to Guilin and chose Huiyu Hotel. I was very satisfied with the experience. Stayed another night. A good hotel worth recommending.

The hotel is in a good location. You can walk to several scenic spots. The front desk lady also sent a special guide. Fruits were delivered in the evening. There was also a late-night canteen with a rich breakfast. The hotel is close to the driveway and a bit noisy at night.
