Enjoyed our stay in this resorts. It’s like a small Malaysian maldives. Perfect service! Thank you manager Karl for everything! Lot of activities all day, such as kayaking, tour to the mangrove jungle, snorkelling, diving or just relax on the pool. Breeze villa very comfy and large. Kids also became a part of saving coral area of Gaya island.

My partner and I just had three nights in a Palm Villa at Gayana Marine Resort! What a place to stay…. Simply amazing! Right from the start everything was perfect. We arrived at the ferry and the staff were really helpful. The ferry left on time and took less than 30 mins. On arrival we had cold towels and a drink. Everything was fully explained by the staff and we were taken to our room about 30 minutes early. The Palm Villa was gorgeous!!! If you can spend a little more and have this room it’s worth it!! I was speechless when I walked in. Super clean and tidy! The online photos do not do this resort justice!! We ate at the Macac Restaurant. There was lots to choose from on the menu and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Breakfast is included and everything was made fresh to order. There was also a buffet which had pastries, fruit, cereal and lots more! We made use of the water sports which are also included. We used the kayaks and paddle boards. Lots available and you just turn up and ask, no need to book! Every single member of staff was lovely!! Everyone greets you, is very polite and they can’t do enough to help. Their English was impressive! We had only booked two nights but loved it so much we extended our stay!!! I highly recommend this place and hope the management see this review to pass on to staff. Such a beautiful place to relax and chill! I highly recommend for couples or solo travellers who want some peace and alone time! what a place to relax! Most of the travellers stayed for a day, but i stayed for 3D2N. Managed to sleep in and rest the first day and did snorkelling/kayaking on the 2nd day. 1 thing to take note: for this booking of accommodation is just the resort by itself. therefore there isnt any other food or stores around it! other than it's own restaurant (for some might be expensive) so bring your own snacks and drinks if you're like me hungry in the middle of the night 🥴 Other than that, this is a beautiful place! def a good place to visit and disconnect!

Nice room, nice environment, and the sea view is a must when visiting this resort. But don’t stay longer than 2D1N because there is nothing much that you can do on this island.

The restaurant service is 5 stars and the food is delicious. House keeping No, the white slippers I brought with me were extremely dark on the second day. On the third day of my stay, there were flying bugs chasing me. Fortunately, there was insecticide water. There were 3 big bugs in total and 5 small ones. Fortunately, I didn't see the water monitor lizard, otherwise I would be frightened. There are monkeys but not many. The resort would be quite nice if there was no trash on the sea. The breakfast provided by the waterway is a surprise, there is a Wifi egg, and the snorkeling tour is also good.

Let's talk about the good aspects first. The scenery is nice, the waiters are very polite, and the overall layout of the house is very island-style. Then there are the disadvantages. There is no wifi, most rooms don't even have mobile phone signals, the satellite TV is also turned off when it rains, there are few types of water sports (snorkeling and canoeing are free, fishing is not allowed, and deep diving is only for experienced people), spa massage is closed at 5 o'clock, the floor level of the house is tilted, there is only one restaurant and you can't bring your own drinks, the breakfast is not rich and ends at 10 o'clock, the room is checked in at 3 o'clock, but the free shuttle boat is 2 hours from 1 o'clock to the hotel, which is very awkward. Other paid boats to enter and leave the island are more expensive, and there is no gym. In addition, there will be crocodiles🐊 in the snorkeling area. I saw two in three days. This can't be considered a disadvantage, it can only be called fate hahaha.

The room facilities are very good, but there is no wireless network signal. The restaurant has wireless network, but it is intermittent. Drinking water is provided free of charge and unlimited. The water house can go directly to the sea, but unlike the Maldives, there is no lagoon, so wind and waves will rush over directly, bringing a lot of garbage. There is only one restaurant and you will get tired of it after eating there for a few days. The pasta and pizza were very poor. The fried rice and noodles were good, but breakfast was not provided. There will be monkeys running around the house, so don't put food on the balcony and be sure to close the door.

I don’t know why the price is so high. Environment: The overall environment is okay, but the sea water is dirty, extremely dirty, and turbid. Except for small fish schools near the shore, there are no fish at all when snorkeling after entering the water. Dear friends, I am shocked, I am shocked. There are no entertainment facilities on the island, not even a beach. Apart from the rooms, there is a restaurant with two points and one line, and the swimming pool is also very small. Service: The overall service staff is pretty good. Everyone I meet on the island greets them warmly. However, there are too many buts. The hotel shampoos are all in large glass bottles. I accidentally broke one when I left. Dear friends, They charged me 150 MYR, so I got my MYR. The restaurant is extremely expensive. The fried rice and fried noodles are the cheapest at 48 MYR, and a portion of shrimp is 80 MYR. Dear friends, you can taste it if you want. I will never come here again. A hotel in China, if you want to experience the water house, go to Semporna or Madai. Is it a good experience for this money?

The hotel is on Gaya Island. The boat entering the island at 12 noon and leaving the island at 11 am is free every day. The hotels are all water houses, which are very suitable for a leisurely vacation. Snorkeling and banana boats are free. Breakfast is free, and lunch and dinner generally cost more than 100 to 200 ringgit for a family.
