Indigo Properties in Dali City

I was a bit apprehensive before arriving, as it's an older hotel, over ten years old. But from the moment I got out of the car, I was incredibly pleased with its location. It's just across the road from Erhai Lake. We booked the 140-degree sea view room, and the view was absolutely fantastic – we could see the unbeatable scenery of Erhai Lake right from our bed. Beautiful! Check-in is on the second floor, and the front desk staff were very friendly, giving us a thorough introduction to all the facilities. They even treated us to afternoon tea and an InterContinental Ambassador gift, which was a very thoughtful touch. The room facilities are a bit dated, but they're well-maintained, which shows how dedicated the housekeeping and engineering teams are. The breakfast in the restaurant was plentiful, offering local delicacies like rice noodles and Rubing cheese, which my child loved! The restaurant staff were exceptionally warm! The rooftop pool is excellent, not too crowded, and the water quality is great. We even caught the sunset there, which was stunning! The afternoon tea was also good, and there's a fantastic sea view restaurant nearby called Hugo's, which has delicious food, reasonable prices, and friendly service! All in all, Hotel Indigo boasts a superb location, friendly staff, and great dining and facilities. It's definitely worth another visit!
