The room was quite clean, but the vanity design was inefficient; water easily spilled out, and my toiletries bag either got wet on the counter or there was nowhere to put it. The hotel toiletries were only in a resealable bag, containing just a toothbrush and toothpaste, and there were no hand towels on the vanity! The experience wasn't great! Furthermore, the service was unsatisfactory. After entering the room, I called the front desk and learned they didn't have a crib. Since I have a 2-year-old who doesn't sleep well and I was worried about him falling out of bed, I wanted to upgrade the room by paying the difference. However, they refused the upgrade, saying I had used the vanity (washed my hands upon entering) and sat on the bed, and the housekeeping staff had already left. They said they would change the room and couldn't resell it, and even suggested I book another room. As a regular member of Huazhu Hotels Group, I can understand, but I can't! This outcome was definitely unsatisfactory!

Located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, near the west gate of the ancient city, the facilities were very new. It was the best night's sleep I had in Yunnan. The laundry room was convenient and easy to use, and the front desk staff were very helpful in providing travel tips, which I found very informative. I checked in quite late and thought the room would be noisy because it was facing the street, but with the windows closed, it was almost completely quiet. When I opened the curtains in the morning, I was surprised to see the golden sunrise on Cangshan Mountain! Around 10 a.m., I even enjoyed the view of jade-like clouds encircling Cangshan Mountain! There was also a variety of coffees available for free—lattes, Americanos, macchiatos, cappuccinos—it felt very cozy and homey.

This stay experience exceeded expectations, and the hotel's service must be praised! As soon as I arrived at the door, the staff took the initiative to help with the luggage. The check-in efficiency was very high. The front desk was gentle and patient. I explained the breakfast, elevator and surrounding play routes in detail. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and clean, the facilities were complete, and the sound insulation was good. The breakfast is rich in variety and the ingredients are fresh. The hotel is conveniently located and convenient to travel. The staff were warm and courteous throughout the whole process, answering all questions, caring and thoughtful, without the slightest perfunctory. The price is super high, whether it is a trip or a short stay, it is recommended, I will choose this next time!

I usually don't bother with reviews, but this place was such a great experience! 1. Excellent service. The front desk staff helped with my luggage, and if there were extra rooms available, they let me choose. Every staff member at the front desk was incredibly helpful! 2. Excellent laundry service. The cleaning lady brought the laundry to my door and dried it. 3. Good breakfast, including local specialties like rice noodles. 4. Excellent accommodation experience, very quiet and comfortable! 5. Great location, very close to the cable car and the old town!

Huazhu Hotels is the top choice for travel! We happened to find a newly opened Hanting Hotel in the city center this time. It was incredibly clean and cozy, and the receptionist was super enthusiastic and energetic! She recommended many hotels to us, and the breakfast rice noodles were absolutely delicious!

Opposite the hotel is Erhai Lake, and less than 100 meters next to it is Erhai Park. There are places to eat if you go west, and transportation and dining are very convenient. Before coming, the lady at the front desk called to remind you that there may be noise from the road in the terrace room, and the room is equipped with I had ear plugs, but luckily I didn't use them. Open the window of the terrace room and you can see the sea, and the scenery is also very good.

Extremely, extremely, extremely satisfied! A friendly reminder to all you travelers out there: be careful what you eat, don't mix too many different foods! I ended up with gastroenteritis because I ate too much variety, and I was up all night with an upset stomach 😭😭. Being in a foreign place and feeling so helpless, it was truly a godsend that the lady working the night shift at the front desk was absolutely, incredibly, unbelievably wonderful! She stayed with me, made sure I took my medicine, and talked to me to distract me. We finally made it through that difficult and painful night, and I recovered. Thank you so much to that lovely lady!

The hotel has a great location with parking available for those driving. There's a shopping mall downstairs, and plenty of shared bikes make getting around very convenient! Facilities: The hotel is quite new, probably recently opened. Service: The service was exceptional. They greeted us whenever we bumped into them in the hallway and asked if we needed anything. They even upgraded our room at check-in. When our travel companions weren't initially assigned to the same floor, the receptionist and housekeeping manager worked tirelessly to get us a room. They truly put a lot of effort into serving every guest. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xiaguan!
