A very nice hotel in Downtown Genoa. The place was clean, the morning breakfast was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great stay! The only thing that was unusual was the room key they gave us was a physical key on a giant weighted keychain. It was a little hard to stuff into the pocket of my pants. . . but we thought the hotel was great!

No elevators, so be ready to lift your suitcases and luggage. The rooms were spacious and neatly decorated to Italian design. Breakfast was very good though the lady looking after the room was probably in a bad mood and keep telling us that we need to do this or don't do that, instead of cordially telling the guests how it is done. Front desk staff was also very helpful and answered all our questions. Beautiful lobby space too.

We stayed at HNN Luxary Suites in Genoa, Italy last night! It’s my first time in Italy and we checked in late after a long journey from Bologna Airport. Beautiful large room with simple & modern decor and beautiful windows that open up and overlook courtyard. It’s walking to distance to several fabulous restaurants where we dined at and had ours standing pasta & wine. It’s about a mile from the water or less. Would def stay here again!

The most wide range of port areas are easily reached: Aquarium (very well known throughout Europe), Galata (Museum of the Sea really to be lost for its particularities as models of perfect old ships and also naturally large ships that can be visited and a whole series of news that have the subject of the sea), the submarine Nazario Sauro, hang in the front mirror the Galata and visitable, the anchored and visitable Neptune gallon, a protagonist of the ”Pirates” film of Polanski, The ships that take on sea every day to visit the surroundings and also to see the Cetacei, which is a central point for the visit of Genova and its historic sea.

The room was large and clean, the service was good, and I gave me a free breakfast. The luggage was also free. The location was very good. Downstairs was a very life-like vegetable market. The middle of the vegetable market was a restaurant; The location of the hotel is on the street, and you don’t have to worry about safety when you come back late.

Notably the common area, with unlimited coffee machine and boiler, water for will and microwave oven, equipped to eat pre-cooked or delivery dishes. A selection of wines is also available for a bottle price of €10.Parking in the courtyard, free and safe as protected by an electric gate only open by residents in the apartment. Strategic location to visit the historical center.

Ssandy cThis hostel's best feature is its location. Less than 10 minute's walk from the main train station (if you don't get lost!). Easy walking distance to most of Genova's sights too. Plenty of cafes, take-outs, and supermarkets within a few blocks. My dorm was pretty spacious, and the kitchen was decent with two stoves, but only one fridge. I visited during the slow season, and there was plenty of room for everybody. If the place was fully booked, I could see it getting a little crowded. My dorm didn't have an en-suite, but the showers and toilets are assigned to each dorm- so ideally you'll have washroom facilities just for you and your roommates. The doors to the showers and toilets were hard to close, and the shower leaked, but as long as you don't put your stuff on the floor you'll be fine. You can smoke on the balcony if that's your thing. At times the noise from the common areas infiltrated my dorm, but everything seemed to settle down by 10 pm. Oh yes- private reading lights and power points at each bunk. There is an elevator, but you'll have to climb some stairs to get to it. If I'm ever in Genova again, I may as well stay here :)

GGuest UserNum primeiro momento difícil de achar pois se encontra no quinto andar de um edifício antigo. Uma pequena placa dourada na lateral da entrada indica Riva Superior. Localizado na linda XX Setembre 19 é um achado em conforto e localização. Quarto amplo, banheiro confortável e um ótimo café da manhã fazem do Riva Superior uma excelente escolha. O elevador é uma preciosidade que funciona. O atendimento muito gentil em todos os aspectos. Uma caminhada pela avenida XX Setembre é especial por suas lojas elegantes e piso de mosaicos coloridos e variados além da sensação de estar caminhando numa galeria em arcos. Usamos o ônibus hop on hop off para visitar os principais pontos turísticos e ele passava bem em frente ao hotel. Caminhando alguns metros o MOG, Mercato Oriental de Genova , atrai turistas e locais com seus produtos e inúmeros restaurantes . Por ser coberto, é muito agradável oferecendo gastronomia variada além de um ambiente movimentado e alegre. Imperdível ! Recomendo com certeza o Riva Superior !

GGuest UserVery nice hotel with comfortable but small rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast is excellent. I was traveling on my own and had trouble finding the hotel tucked away in a narrow street but you won't find a better location near the old port for the price. With elevator access, my small room was dominated by a too-large bed but was comfortable and had all the amenities I wanted. I would stay here again and I recommend it without reservation.

This hotel is past its prime. It was probably super swanky when it was built, and has stunning views over Genoas port and railway station - but it has not kept up to modern standards. The rooms feel outdated and old. However: the price is low, and for travellers arriving by train the hotel could not be better placed. The rooms have high ceilings and excellent aircondition, as well as good water pressure in the bathrooms. We stayed two nights in the middle of the heat wave and could not have asked for better sleep. Our only complaint would be that the night receptionist did not seem to like his guests very much. We would absolutely recommend the hotel for travellers on a budget, travellers who would like to live close to Genoas narrow & non-gentrified alleyways, and trainspotters who will enjoy the views to all arriving trains!

MMrlyj_LEEThe hotel is very close to the airport, not far from the metro and train station. It's convenient to eat nearby. There are several Chinese restaurants. The room was cleaned and the breakfast was plentiful. Especially the boss, President Zhao, is considerate and very familiar with the local people and gives you good suggestions for travel.
