Beijing West Railway Station Area | 6.88km from Beijing International Sculpture Park
The hotel is in closed to the Beijing Railway Station West. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot and good quality with a reasonable variety of Chinese and Western styles.
However, the bathroom had a bad, irritating smell from the sewer pipes, especially when the room temperature is warm. The water in the bathroom sink flew slowly and even stopped going down to the sewer pipe. I had to close the bathroom room all the time in order to avoid the rotten and stinky smells coming out of the bathroom.
Another drawback is that there is no way to turn on the air conditioning, regardless of how hot the room is. The staff explained that the HVAC is centralized and cannot be controlled independently. That makes the stinky smell in the warm room temperature more intolerable.

We got confused after we checked in and noticed that there wasn't a door into the bathroom. Called the housekeeping, and they informed that the door was removed because it was spoilt. I think its rather irresponsible to not inform beforehand. The room was changed after complaining. The new room, not sure if it's because it's winter, it's like a sauna in the room! Even the corridor is cooler than the room! There is nothing we can do to adjust the temperature and with the direct sunlight shining in, it just makes it worse.
During checking in, I enquired about some day tours but the front office staff couldn't give much information. Generally, the staff are not very enthusiastic and friendly.
The plus point is the location. It is about 5 mins walk from Xidan metro station. Lots of food and shopping around the hotel.

The room is clean & spacious for my family of 4 adults.
The hotel is connected with the mall, which is so convenient!
Staff is extremely helpful & guided us on how to use various apps like meituan/ didi.
I am so impressed with the meituan to hotel bot delivery - our order is delivered 30min from ordering!
The only suggestion is to blank out or frost the entire bathroom glass. It is kind of odd that the top n bottom are see-through.

Amazing stay! Service was excellent as well. Location very convenient!
The hotel is a very short walk from the metro station, also located very centrally good for travelling to various tourist attractions. The hotel is located at the entrance of the popular street and there are lots of shops to shop and dine at. There’s a post office nearby and a Lawson right beside. Near the end of the street is a Starbucks reserve. Also two popular streets to explore and shop at.
Service was superb, staffs were very helpful and outstanding in providing any assistance towards our requests.
Breakfast was pretty good too, there’s slight changes everyday and the supper is comforting too hot wanton soup.
Room was overall clean but slightly dusty and basin had a kinda weird smelly smell. But otherwise pretty perfect! We could adjust the room temperature and the tv has many channels to watch. Almost perfect stay that we missed after checking out.
Definitely recommended and we would definitely consider staying again the next time we have chance. (:

Good location, can say that it’s located in the middle of everything. We can stay in just one place for all the tourist attractions the we plan to go.
Because it close to line 1 and line 8 of the metro.
You can walk to the metro with in 2 blocks away only less than 10 mins.
You also can walk to wang fu jing easily, many foods and shopping malls, also can walk to the forbidden city, also close to the tour bus to the great wall.
The room also quite clean, free snack and drinks in the fridge everyday, you can late check out and also can leave your luggage with the hotel they have self service locker for your luggage.
But in winter season suggest to book the room with window otherwise too hot due to the heater.
Staff are friendly and try to speak english with us. :)
But just one thing that there’s always smell of food but maybe because we are on the second floor.

We as a family of four with two 7yo who visit China for the first time love this stay very much.
One thing we love is its proximity to main tourist sites like Tiananmen Sq, Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Temple of Heaven, etc.
The service is top-notched. Every staff member is friendly and would proactively offer assistance. The Meituan delivery lockers are in the secure place indoor. Love it.
The hotel is one of a kind, like a museum. Make sure you spend sometime tour around. Some of the art pieces are better than the ones in actual museum.

Need to compliment the service staffs here, very helpful and kind, especially Ms Su. She helped us double check our train tickets. We didn't have local number so the staffs also help to use their personal phone to do food ordering for us. We have some parcels sent to the hotel and had some issues, the frontdesk also help to talk to logistic people to arrange them to resend the correct item. All in all I will come back just for the service staffs. Located near train station which is nearby alot of attractions.

My flight was cancelled and I was forced to stay over in Beijing for the night.
Hotel staff went for rhe extra mile and upgraded me to a bigger room and provided me with essential oils when I feedbacked about the adour in my previous room. The room was clean and spacious, facing Jingshan park view, its too bad I couldnt stay longer for the amazing view. The hotel staff was so attentive, very patient and very eager to help, she made me feel like a queen 😁
Spa garden was therapeutic and calming, I wish I could spend more time there.
Lounge was a sexy area, I suggest to go at night time. Cocktail there was average.
Gym was small, not comprehensive for an active person like me.
I tried both their frenchcuisine Rive Gauche and the chinese cuisine Fu Chun ju. Services and staff were impeccable and polite. But if I can only choose one, its the chinese cuisine, their roasted pigeon was AMAZING!
I visited Jingshan Park whic only 5 mins aw.
9/10 FOR THIS EXPERIENCE!

The location of the hotel was great - it was near the Wangfujing shopping district, and walking distance to numerous public transport options. However, the housekeeping team was not thorough - there were often clumps of hair lying in the room (we even found someone’s used contact lens) and it was as if they just gathered the dust / dirt together and left it there. The plumbing in the hotel is weak, and the smell of sewage lingers in the toilet. The hotel was otherwise cozy and the reception staff were also helpful.

GGuest UserWe loved this beautiful little hotel. Amazing service (special mention to the ladies Yanglu & Ludan who were super helpful). Even though the staff didn’t speak English, they used translators and ensured that all our requests were met (including helping us order food delivery). The breakfast includes options for everyone. Rooms are well kept and super clean. The location was perfect as it’s within walking distance of so many eateries and sights. They have a lovely Lego table at the reception which kept my kids entertained and offer free laundry service.

Stayed in Jan 15 in 2025. It is just the best one for kids and families in Sanya and offer everything you need- from best sea views, close location to airport, clean and nice relax areas and of corse best ever kids playing areas inc carting, video games, non stop entertaiment activities, darts, snooker, table tennis and more! Cant believe they even have small zoo! Will we come back again? Deffinetely big YES! See you soon!
TTinaMI was only here for 3 nights, but had an extremely comfortable stay. The rooms are large and very well equipped - there is a fridge, microwave, kettle and a really good washer/dryer, which was such a blessing for me after a month of traveling. This is essentially a serviced apartment, but they also have a lovely lounge/kitchen in the basement, with a coffee machine that I may have used a little too much 🤣 It was good coffee and I was really glad for it at the start of a busy day. Their housekeeping staff is lovely as well, as is their security/doorman with the kindest smile. The reception staff went above and beyond to help me with my many queries. I had some delayed deliveries arrive at the hotel after I checked out, unfortunately, and although I'm sure my many requests may have been rather irritating as my friend in Beijing attempted to reroute/collect the late deliveries from the hotel, never once did the hotel staff convey a hint of frustration to me. They were so kind and gracious throughout, and I am genuinely grateful for that.
The hotel's location is an absolute chef's kiss 🤌 There are 2 major subway stations at equal distance from the hotel, and you can pick the station based on which line you need. The hotel is located by the hutongs west of Dongsi, right at the end of the LongfuSi complex, which is essentially a long line of fantastic pubs, cafes, restaurants, and also functions as a community/park of sorts, so you will see lots of families and people walking their dogs in the evenings - I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but it's a very uniquely ”Beijing” experience, not one you would experience out on the busy main roads. One of my favourite things was just walking back from the subway station and getting to immerse myself in this environment before arriving at Base. Also, I read some reviews saying it is inaccessible for taxis - this is not true, as there is a wide enough road for cars; your DiDi driver just won't be able to wait for you as there is no parking on the main street, so you'll need to be waiting for them outside. It was very convenient for my driver to pick me up when I checked out.
Thank you to the courteous reception staff for putting up with all my queries and shenanigans! I'm genuinely grateful and hope to be back again very soon (hopefully next time with fewer questions, but no promises!)
YYIEN WEAGo straight out of the hotel lobby door, turn right to go to the nearest metro station/exit which is Zhushikou. Turn left to eat and shop at the famous Qianmen street and also other hutongs/alley. Totally worth it. Plus, there’s a Luckin coffee and Lawson opposite the hotel. Really convenient!
They kept the room really clean. There are some complaints about the drainage smell which there really is in the toilet but you will get used to it and eventually it will disappear as you take shower.
Overall it was a very good experience and nice place. The staffs were friendly and helpful.
Remember to clean the filter of the dryer if you wish to use it. As it’s quite dusty but I think people rarely use it anyways so I am fine with it. I even helped them clean and wash the dust away.
Anyways, I will definitely book again if I come back to Beijing. 💯

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel with my family and it was an absolute delight! This place is a haven for families seeking comfort and convenience. The room was incredibly spacious, allowing us to move around comfortably. My son was over the moon with the bathtub – it was a definite highlight of his stay!
One standout feature was the presence of two bathrooms, which proved to be a game-changer in terms of convenience. No more morning rush hour! I must give a special shout-out to the desk guy, Leo, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. His excellent service truly made a difference.
The location is also a major plus – surrounded by numerous restaurants, we were spoiled for choice when it came to dining options. It's a huge relief not having to venture far for a delicious meal.
All in all, this hotel exceeded our expectations and provided us with a fantastic family experience. We'll definitely be returning on our next visit!
YYour_mr_aIt is good hotel to spend couple of days and then leave it. Location is okay a bit far from Subway but you can deal with that. Room is very warm and good except that everything is old. Before you book you must make sure that where you book, Hotel have two different building one have elevator and another does not which mean you need to go to 3,4,5,6 floor by your own after very tired day. They charge us 150rmb for the room where elevator located. Corridors a bit smelly. Don’t buy the breakfast!!! It’s the worst breakfast in my life !!! Except egg you can’t eat anything. There is no restaurant in the building where you stay, reception give you coupons and you need to go the restaurant in opposite side of hotel where restaurant located. If you order more then 20rmb they’ll charge you more. But I’m sure you can’t eat anything except eggs. This hotel for tuff travelers who can survive without what others a bit expensive hotel can offer.
GGuest UserHotel was about 15-20 min walk to the subway station, which consider pretty far. Not like what other review says it's within minutes walk. Will be difficult if you're pushing heavy luggage. Do take note that nearest station is DongZhimen station which by far, I've not found any elevator nor downward escalator, which will make it difficult when going to airport by subway train. There should be one downward escalator somewhere but eventually we decided to take a cab down which takes about $160 yuan for a 6 seater. A lot of eateries around the hotel area and a pharmacy next door which makes it convenient if touch wood , any co-traveller falls sick. But not a very friendly pharmacist there.
Our hotel room is the bigger one with projector with movies. Just need to use WeChat app to scan to access.
Basic stuff provided in the hotel. Anything else, you have to ask , eg shaver, or floss etc but no safe and fridge , wardrobe though.
There is a Korean restaurant in the hotel which makes it convenient if you decide not to dine out.
Customer service wise, housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, accommodating our request here and there. Except one day-shift front desk who is not too helpful nor friendly. Sometimes when we asked for extra bottles of water or tissue packs, she would be reluctant and ask for our room number to keep track of our usage. As my co-travellers caught a flu in between, we need more tissues. At one time, when I asked for two more packs of tissues, in the end she came up to tell me hotel run out of tissue and can only give me one pack, the rest is toilet rolls. But when later, I approach the housekeeping staff, the cleaner lady gladly handed me what I needed. Too bad I didn't know the name of the unfriendly front desk. But she's the smaller built size one.
On the contrary, one night shift front desk is to totally extremely helpful and friendly, she goes by the name ”Xiao Li staff number 000”. As my co-travellers fall sick in the middle of the night, running fever and catching cold and cough, I have nowhere to buy medication. She helped me to order online with ”mei tuan” which we foreigners have no way to order unless with a local number. She even offered me more water and tissue packs without me requesting. The next early morning, when I walked past the reception to get my breakfast, she even asked how my co-travellers are doing and whether they recovering. On the day of departure, she helped me with the booking of a cab to airport and gave me a few pointers going to airport. Her presence make me gives an extra star to this hotel. She is definitely the best staff in the hotel.
Overall, if you are travelling alone or with adults companion, this hotel is considered decent but with children, you may want to be prepared to walk more or take a cab to any of your destinations.
DDr. Julio BernalWe love this hotel for the location and the size of the room. The place is very luxurious but one thing that can be improved is the temperature for the rooms. They over used the heater and we had to ask to lower it. It still felt too warm. We asked them to open the room window but still it was too hot. The breakfast was very good with some room for improvement. The buffet looked cramped in an area of the restaurant. The location of some of the items wasn’t the most strategically. For instance, to grab some fruit you have to be practically on top of other items of the salad bar. People could literally breath on top of the food. Overall this hotel is great but it needs a major upgrade in the rooms and the wet area of the gym/pool. The showers there need some work. The steam room wasn’t working. Only the dry sauna worked. It need better cleaning as well
