The hotel is close to Poznan train station, a ten-minute walk away. The old town center is a half-hour walk. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are of good firmness. The breakfast is plentiful and offers a wide variety of choices.

In general nice hotel, simple, it is a 3 star hotel so didn’t expect anything crazy. Room was clean, except something beside the toilet that freaked me out. Upgraded to a superior room, which included a nespresso machine, but for some reason we were given 3 decaf coffee pods and one regular pod, after the room was cleaned again and one of the pods was used we only had that one pod replaced, don’t get the point of a coffee machine if you will only give one coffee pod for two people to share.. Location wise is very quiet, beside the lake and the waterpark, lovely in the summer, we were at a festival and it was nice coming back to a more relaxed vibe rather than busy loud city centre. 10-15 mins by car from the centre to the hotel and 20mins from the airport, so it’s really not bad. Food was good at the hotel, a little inconsistent, getting different sauces with the same dishes on different days or same dishes being plated on to different plates the next day, getting salad with a dish one day and then not having any on another day. Refilling water stations available on each floor which is great, hot, cold or sparkling water. Outside area is nice, lots of seating available, a pool, but usually taken up by kids. You can eat outside in the summer, but wasps literally attacked our food and drinks so we had to go inside. There’s so many wasps in Poznan 😅 In general we were happy with our stay, just little things that we have noticed after travelling so much to other places.

Verbesserungsvorschläge: - In der Sauna sollte es eine klare Regel geben, dass nackte Körperteile nicht direkt das Holz berühren dürfen. Teilweise sind bereits Rostspuren am Holz sichtbar. - Netflix auf dem Fernseher wäre wünschenswert.

Altus was a well-placed hotel, ideally placed on the edge of the old town, the Christmas markets, and local shops. There’s a Lidl and numerous convenience stores nearby, and you’re a short walk from the interesting sights. It’s also well-placed on a main road for easy Uber access to the airport. The hotel's location is excellent, allowing for a pleasant 10 to 20-minute walk to both the main train station and the Old Town. The breakfast offers a rich variety of high-quality options, truly living up to five-star hotel standards. The rooms are well-equipped, and the bathrooms are spacious and bright with great water pressure and volume in the shower. The hotel also boasts a swimming pool and gym on the eighth floor, open until 11 PM, catering to various needs. Complimentary tea in the lobby adds a welcoming touch, making guests feel right at home.

The only downside was that I ordered a queen-size bed, but the room had two singles. There was no explanation from the staff. I'm not lowering my rating this time, but next time there will be a deduction. On the other hand, the Samos olive oil in the restaurant was fantastic.

The room was clean and well-equipped. The proximity to the airport wasn't an issue at night and was a plus for travelers.

Great location for this hotel, a very short walk to the square. Extremely clean. Wonderful coffee machine downstairs with hot coffee and a good selection. Also tea and water available. The pillows and duvets on the bed eye extremely comfortable. A complimentary bottle of fizzy and still water in the bedroom. Large towels and am amazing shower with super nice smelling toiletries.
