One night stay on a Friday night. Convenient after shopping at Mid-valley Southkey. Entrance from mall is just above Village Grocer.
Checked in was smooth and staff were pleasant and courteous. Room was spacious with a nice window seat. Looks a bit dated but otherwise clean enough. Room was quiet except for the occasional screech from racing motorbikes on the highway next to the hotel.
Breakfast spread was quite big. Some hits and misses in terms of food taste. Lamb and chicken rendangs are nice!
Weâve stayed a few hotel in JB and this is our first time staying in a condominium. Their service and room exceeded our expectations and we have a good time exploring the facilities n surrounding area. Weâve a chat group where amenities and check in information and video was given throughout the whole process. Before check in we got lost at RF mall and they promptly send a person to pick us up and brought us directly to our room. Weâll be coming back again to try their bigger room next time with our friends.
First time here and absolutely love the hotel
Very clean and great stuff
The rooms were a little small but overall still very good
Just 5 mins walk to mid valley mall
Breakfast was one of the best Iâve tried in Jb. Had so much of choices. And very nice too
Hotel delivered the request I put I
Will definitely go again
Very happy

Decided to have an impromptu one night stay at Holiday Villa JB during CNY - a hotel we have stayed at for a few times already. Slightly dated but still quite well maintained. The carpark ramps are the only scary thing - so narrow that most Singaporeans just opt for the 35RM per entry valet. Kalaivani at the Reception was really friendly and funny! They have very little double bed units but thankfully we got one. Due to CNY, fire crackers were being popped until almost 1am! Donât think this is a good option for families with small children who need to sleep early. Thanks for a good stay!
Hotel is very convenient, with direct access to the mall at lv1. Booked 2 rooms, and the staff were very kind to offer connecting room to us (great for family with elderly and kids!).
Requested for the sofa bed to be made, and the sofa bed is surprisingly comfy and large enough to fit an adult.
The room is also super spacious, and space for us to store luggage. Our luggage do not need to be placed on the floor.
We will be back đ
Bathroom got hot showers. Bedroom is good and comfortable. Good location and near night market and many shops. Market and variety cafeteria. Staff worker very good and helpful iff you have a question for ask address where do you want to go.

We booked the Deluxe King Plus. The bed was huge at 2.1m, and the oversized pillows were big enough for two kids and both parents. On top of that, it also had a sofa bed for two people, which is fine for kids, but adults probably would not sleep very well on it. The soundproofing was superb, and NSK Supermarket was just within walking distance.
We tried the Kanteen breakfast food, and the tom yum bee hoon is a must-try. We also loved BookXcess and went back every day. They had a promotion: buy 4 books and get 1 free, with the free one being the cheapest. Book price are relatively cheaper(alot of olden books. Location-wise, it is near Tuas, so you can take Grab, but it is not the most convenient.
Overall, 9/10. Will come back again

Great boutique hotel. Has all the basic for a good stay for 1-2 nights. Usually spend weekends for a night here and is just opposite CIQ and train station and City Square JB.
So point to note thatâs itâs a boutique hotel and is comfortable. So donât expect too much.
My only peeve is that the shower is mounted on the wall and not the hand held type.
Other than that this place is great !

Compared to hotels in Singapore, the rooms at this Johor Bahru hotel are much more spacious. However, there's a faint lingering smell of new renovation that hasn't fully aired out. The rooftop pool offers stunning sunset views while you swim. Downstairs, there's a mall with plenty of dining options. It's incredibly convenient to get here from Singapore; once you clear customs, there's direct access to the hotel building. Getting a taxi to Larkin Sentral in the morning was also a breeze. The breakfast is mostly Western-style, which was alright for a quick bite.

Great
Room was bright and spacious, toilet very clean and functioned well. Facilities were quite perfect - we enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi + the legendary breakfast spread which really represented local cuisine at it's best! The distance to the shopping malls was very convenient. Overall, the attitude and demeanour of all the staff was pleasant. Minor issues: - One of the beds was very sandy under the quilt. I only discovered it quite late at night so didn't take the effort to call housekeeping and slept on top of the quilt instead. - The service staff at breakfast kept clearing our table completely, re-setting it and even attempting to give it away to another customer when we went to take more food, despite the occupied/reserve signage. When requested not to, they simply gave excuses that they were merely tidying up. This happened 3 times with the same service staff and made us quite frustrated.

If you like a quiet, cosy place that give you a resort feel, then this hotel will be a good choice. Initially booked this hotel is because wanting to try the Gem Spa, as previously I tried their other outlet which was very good. But sadly due to time constraints, we didn't manage to go the spa. What I like about this hotel is, there is a hard rock within the hotel. So if you do not want to travel 15mins out, then you can actually chill and eat there. The room is cosy but sadly that even I had booked the sea view, the view was not directly. I was allocated a room that faced the road and far right is the sea. But the plus point is I have a bathtub. Overall the service is good, breakfast is average and the occupancy of the hotel is high but you do not feel crowded.
We had a great stay at Hotel Granada Bukit Indah! Itâs super convenientâjust a short walk to AEON Mall and close to plenty of cafes, shops, and even Sutera Mall is just a short drive away. We stayed in Room 918, which had a lovely view and was spacious and clean. We really appreciated that the room wasnât carpetedâit feels fresher and is actually our preference too. Service was prompt and friendly; we requested an extra pair of slippers and they brought it up quickly without fuss. The buffet breakfast was decent, with a good enough variety to start the day. All in all, a solid stay for the price and locationâwould definitely return.
We had a nice stay at the St Giles Midvalley Southkey. The hotel is very popular, and you can see it in the rooms and staff especially when it's later in the day. The best part of the hotel is its proximity to Midvalley Southkey mall. The hotel rooms are a decent size, but the towels and fittings are not new anymore, the carpet is showing signs of wear, and the bathroom is a strange open shower/sink/toilet bowl design. Nice gym and view, together with the infinity swimming pool on the roodtop, but note that it is a very cold swim due to the windchill. Breakfast buffet is very good, plenty of choices, but very crowded after 7.30am. Would love to stay again when room rates are closer to my expectations.
I recently stayed at Ramada by Wyndham Meridin Johor Bahru, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is idealâjust minutes away from Legoland, Medini Mall, and other attractions, which made it perfect for both relaxation and sightseeing. The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water, good-quality toiletries, and a well-stocked minibar. The views from the higher floors are lovely, offering a peaceful cityscape or greenery, depending on your room. The service was top-notchâstaff were polite, attentive, and always willing to help with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The hotel also has excellent facilities, including a nice outdoor pool, gym, and a great on-site restaurant with a wide variety of local and international dishes for breakfast. Everything was well-maintained and clean. If you're visiting Johor Bahru for leisure or business, Ramada Meridin is a solid choice. It offers great value for money, comfort, and hospitality. Iâll definitely be returning!
We stayed here on the day of my sonâs 4th birthday. We were told that our room would take an extra 30 minutes for birthday decorations, but we were taken aback that the towel decorations alone took 30 minutes to set up. We also requested connecting rooms, but since we had booked king rooms, they were unable to change one of our king rooms to a twin and told us to rebook. However, the rooms are big, spacious, and clean. They come with a sofa that can fit an adult to rest on. The pool and the small playground next to it were great for keeping our kids entertained. The breakfast spread was good, with a lot of choices. Location-wise, it is very good. There were supermarkets, plenty of food options (many outside the hotel), and even a laundromat.

The service is good. No safe box in the room but can leave inside safe at the counter. Clean and spacious room with good view! Near to KSL and Plaza Pelangi. Downstairs across the road is a hawker night food street. Walking distance to Ho Seng Kee Wanton Mee. Will stay again!
