Room: I thought being next to the airport would be noisy, but it was actually fine after experiencing it. Our family sleeps pretty well, and we had a peaceful night with our nine-year-old child. The hotel's decor is typical of a budget hotel.
Service: The main clientele seems to be transit passengers or airline crew. I saw many flight attendants, which makes sense as it's convenient for quick transfers. Plus, you don't need to go to the front desk to check out; there's a card drop-off point right there.
The photos aren't of the surrounding scenery; from the room, you can only see the airport, where you can watch planes take off and land.

Our flight was delayed, so we didn't arrive in Haikou until the middle of the night. Luckily, the hotel offered pick-up service right from the airport, and they even helped us with our luggage.
The location is fantastic, very close to the airport, which saved us a lot of hassle. It's also right next to a Jihua Hotel.
The front desk staff saw we had a baby and kindly upgraded our room to one with a loft, which made our child incredibly happy!
Despite the affordable price, the room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. There's even a small courtyard where kids can play. This hotel offers excellent value for money.

Our butler, Lulu, messaged us on WeChat beforehand to ask what we needed, and her replies were always super prompt – excellent service! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The hotel pool water wasn't very clean; hope they can pay more attention to that in the future.
Parking was quite tight, and breakfast wasn't really worth the price.
At checkout, the doorman didn't help with our luggage, making the elderly guests carry their own bags to the car. This was the first time I've ever seen such service.
The hotel is brand new, with very spacious rooms and excellent facilities. Most of the public areas are shared with the neighboring Belmond property, including the pool, restaurants, and kids' club.
The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options and is available until 12 PM, so you don't have to worry about missing it if you wake up late.
The service was truly commendable. Upon check-in, the front desk kindly upgraded our room free of charge, and they were very prompt in addressing all our questions and needs throughout our stay.
While there was some objective noise from nearby municipal construction, it stopped during lunch and in the evenings. Since we were out of the hotel for most of the day during our stay, it didn't really bother us much.

I highly recommend this hotel! They upgraded our room for free, and the environment was super clean with all the facilities you could need. The natural light and ventilation were excellent, so we slept incredibly well. Plus, the price was really affordable – I loved it! They offer free airport shuttle service and parking, which makes it perfect for transit or a vacation.

An unparalleled experience! The hotel was grand in every aspect, making us feel right at home. We booked a Royal Club King Room, and it came with a complimentary afternoon tea upgrade. Since we missed the evening 'Sweet Hour', the butler, a lovely and kind young lady, graciously offered us afternoon tea for the following day instead.
She was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous, providing us with all the necessary timings and important tips.
**Facilities:** The TV felt a bit small for a Royal Club room.
**Cleanliness:** Exceptionally clean. The bathtub didn't even need a liner, and the bath towels and hand towels were all very soft. The hotel provided two large and one small blue pool slippers, plus two large and one small white disposable slippers.
**Service:** After our first swim, the bathrobes got completely soaked. The hotel promptly provided two extra sets, which was very efficient.
**Location:** It's in a prime spot in Haitang Bay, about 1.8 kilometers from the CDF Duty-Free City.

This stay was absolutely perfect! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, KK at the front desk greeted me with such warmth and enthusiasm. She not only patiently answered all my questions but also proactively introduced the hotel's high-tech amenities, like the smart robot that effortlessly handles food orders, deliveries, and information inquiries – truly impressive technology! Even more surprising, there's a self-service washer and dryer right next to the room, with complimentary detergent provided. The entire wash and dry cycle only takes two hours, which is incredibly thoughtful for guests staying longer or needing frequent laundry.
KK provided service with a constant smile throughout my stay, helping with my luggage upon check-in and even presenting a local specialty gift upon check-out. These small details really highlight their attentiveness. The hotel environment was clean and bright, and the drinks and meals delivered by the robot felt incredibly considerate. From the facilities to the service, every aspect showcased the hotel's professionalism and sincerity. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for efficiency combined with a personal touch!

My spouse and I traveled together. The room was quite spacious, and as soon as we opened the door, we immediately felt comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable. It's newly renovated, clean, and the staff are enthusiastic. The facilities are complete, and there are plenty of affordable dining options nearby.

I stayed here because I had an early flight, and the experience was fantastic! The hotel's location is unbeatable, just a few minutes' drive from the airport. The 24-hour shuttle service was incredibly prompt, and the driver was very friendly.
The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. Despite being close to the airport, the soundproofing was excellent; I barely heard any airplane noise and had a peaceful night's sleep.
The front desk service was professional and efficient. They proactively asked about my flight time and reminded me about the shuttle.
While the breakfast didn't have a huge variety, the quality was good, especially the Hainanese noodle soup, which tasted very authentic. It was really satisfying to have a hot meal before catching my flight. Highly recommended!
This is definitely the top choice for travelers with layovers or early morning flights. I'll be back again!

Sanya's ultimate family resort! The Year of the Horse stay was absolutely perfect!
Bringing the kids to Sanya for the winter break, choosing the Harman Hotel was truly the best decision we made! From check-in to check-out, there were zero complaints, definitely a full five stars!
🌊 Sea View Room: The healing power of watching the sunrise from bed
We stayed in a sea view room, and as soon as we opened the door, we were amazed:
- You can watch the sunrise over the ocean right from your bed. The morning light spilling across the sea with its shimmering golden specks was so gentle and healing, all the fatigue of traveling with kids just melted away.
- The room had a minimalist wooden style, and the bedding was just the right firmness. The turndown service decorated the room with little folded animals, which were adorable, and the kids wouldn't let go of them.
As a family-friendly hotel, the amenities here truly understand parents:
- Kids' Club: A soft play area, ball pit, rainbow slide, trampolines, and a reading nook. The kids could spend all day in there and not get bored, giving us time to finally enjoy a cup of coffee in peace.
- Art Workshop: There's a dedicated painting area and craft classes, where they guide children to do sand painting and graffiti. The finished products can even be taken home as souvenirs – fun and educational at the same time.
- Infinity Pool: In the evening, the sunset stained the pool a warm golden color. The kids went wild on the water slide while we relaxed on sun loungers, feeling the sea breeze – this is what a vacation should be like!
🍔 Dining & Service: Thoughtfulness in every detail
- When we arrived at noon, our room wasn't ready yet. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and arranged for us to have afternoon tea in the executive lounge. Chinese tea, beautiful small pastries, and the lounge's unobstructed, stunning sea view made for perfect photos to post on social media.
- For breakfast, the Hainan noodles were cooked fresh to order, and the freshly squeezed juices were unlimited. The kids' favorite waffles could even be DIY'd with their choice of sauces.
- From the careful arrangements made when we arrived early and were waiting for our room, to the delightful surprises set up by the room attendant... every service detail conveyed exclusive care and made us feel respected and valued.
🧧 New Year Atmosphere: Full of festive cheer
The peach blossom tree in the lobby was adorned with auspicious red ornaments, creating a wonderful Spring Festival and spring vibe. The hotel also arranged lion dance performances and couplet writing activities. It was the first time my child tried calligraphy, and they were overjoyed.
If you're bringing your kids to Sanya, this is the place to choose! Family-friendly, stunning sea views, thoughtful service, and during the Year of the Horse, you even get a full sense of New Year festivity. Excellent value for money! [Strong][Strong]

CChaseCaicaiThe Eagle's Nest, their top-selling room, is a must-try! We stayed in room 2001, and the view was incredible, right by the Heavenly Lake. You can even see the 'trial marriage' room (not a show flat) at 9999 from a distance. The room layout was exactly as pictured online. To sum up, the Swan Suite is the closest to the restaurant, so it's a quick walk to eat. The Cloud Roc suites are at the highest elevation, but they're guest rooms, so they're not as popular. Other room types are spread across different peaks. The hotel is 3km from Yalong Bay Night Market and Baihua Night Market. The Liupan Night Market at the foot of the mountain is also quite affordable. A big thank you to Manager Sun for specially arranging a fruit platter for us!
GGuest UserThe Grand Hotel was the first hotel we stayed at as a family, and it was a great choice. The location is lively, the price was right, and it even has a heated children's pool. The room wasn't small and had a bathtub.
I knew the hotel was a bit older, but the service was exceptional. Before we even checked in, Gina from guest services added me on WeChat, asked about our needs, and even upgraded our room. Throughout our stay, any requests were handled promptly. We had a small hiccup on the first night, but it was resolved quickly, and they even extended our check-out and provided a hotel car to take us to our next accommodation. The room itself was also lovely. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.
AAnonymous UserHaving stayed in numerous luxury hotels for over 30 years and with a background in hotel management myself, this is the first time I've ever given a hotel a bad review!
The reason for the low rating isn't the service; overall, the service was quite good. I'm especially grateful to the butler, who was always responsive and provided excellent service – 100 points for them. However, during my stay, I noticed a recurring issue: when you ask a passing hotel staff member for a small favor, like a pair of chopsticks or a plate change, they might be a middle manager who doesn't directly handle such tasks, or perhaps they're just passing by on their way to something else. They'd reply, 'Okay, just a moment,' and then walk off. Some would eventually return to fulfill the request, others would get busy and never come back. Honestly, a guest's request should simply be met with 'Okay!' and then completed within ten seconds, no 'just a moment' needed.
Now, for the reasons behind the bad review, which I've been holding in for days:
1. The constant 'thump-thump-thump' of helicopters flying back and forth all day, ferrying guests. The noise was maddening.
2. The kids in the downstairs pool were noisy, and the hotel staff organizing their activities even wore megaphones, shouting constantly.
3. The newly built duty-free shop was right next door, adding construction noise and dust flying everywhere!
4. It's peak season, so I understand that rooms are in demand and upgrades aren't available. But after so many years of staying in hotels and being a member, they absolutely refused a 2 PM late checkout, insisting on 1 PM.
5. The breakfast was very mediocre, I don't know why it has so many good reviews. I've stayed at several hotels in Haitang Bay, and this breakfast was subpar. It was all chicken, no fish, no beef, no Hainanese green beans, and the same exact menu every day.
6. The buffet at the 'Skyline' restaurant was an absolute joke. The food was worse than street food.
7. The Häagen-Dazs afternoon dessert at the lobby bar was also a joke; it was unusually bad.
LLuoliyue92I recently stayed at the Shangri-La Sanya for 4 nights with my parents and child, and everyone absolutely loved it! This hotel is definitely a hidden gem for a family vacation.
📍 **Excellent Location:** It's super close to the beach, and some rooms even offer direct sea views. It's only a 10-minute drive to the Sanya International Duty-Free Shopping Complex, which is incredibly convenient for those who love to shop. Wuzhizhou Island pier is also not far, making it easy to hail a taxi.
🛏️ **Room Experience:** Since I was traveling with my parents and child, I opted for the Horizon Club. The Horizon Club offers access to an executive lounge with not only breakfast but also afternoon tea and dinner, which was incredibly convenient. The room itself was spacious and bright, and the balcony offered stunning sea views. The room was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully equipped with children's toiletries and a children's step stool. There's also a sofa bed in the room, which you can ask the butler to set up in advance – perfect for a family of four.
🍽️ **Satisfying Dining:** The main restaurant's breakfast spread was incredibly rich with a huge variety of options, including freshly squeezed watermelon and cantaloupe juice. To my surprise, there was even a dedicated kids' area! It offered not only dishes suitable for children like wontons, congee, pasta, steamed buns, and fried snacks, but also finely cut fruits and vegetables, showing great consideration for little ones. My child absolutely loved it.
The Horizon Club executive lounge was also fantastic. Besides afternoon tea, they have an evening happy hour with different hot dishes each day. They also offered non-spicy vegetable and meat dishes, as well as fried noodles and rice, suitable for children. Everything tasted great.
🎪 **Abundant Children's Activities:** There are tons of parent-child activities every day, along with unlimited free rides on the mini-train. We participated in a dragon fruit sushi-making class, which was a wonderful experience, and my child had an absolute blast.
The hotel also has an adventure zone, a petting zoo, and you can even ride ponies and ostriches, which the kids really enjoyed.
The water park is also large and clean. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly when we visited, so we didn't go in, but it would be perfect for warmer weather.
💫 **Five-Star Service:** The hotel service was absolutely superb. Romy checked us in, and she was incredibly kind. She helped us resolve a breakfast issue and personally escorted us to the shuttle bus stop after check-in. Our luggage was also delivered directly to our room by a dedicated staff member – super nice.
This vacation was incredibly satisfying, and I will definitely choose Shangri-La again the next time I visit Sanya!

GGuest UserThis hotel is a hidden gem, located at the easternmost part of Yalong Bay, very quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We booked a Deluxe Sea View room and were upgraded to a Full Sea View, which mainly differed in floor height and angle. The Full Sea View King room offered an amazing view! The 180-degree ocean view was fantastic, and at this price point in Yalong Bay, it's truly a steal. The hotel's public areas were decent, considering the price, but had everything we needed, and the swimming pool was adequate. Breakfast was standard, but enough for me.
XXingzoudexiaolanxiangThe hotel facilities are complete and very clean. It's located in the most bustling area of Haikou, close to several must-see attractions. The service was excellent; the butler contacted me even before check-in to ask about my needs and selected a fantastic room on a great floor for me. The breakfast was rich and varied, catering to different tastes, and the dining environment was comfortable. All the staff members had a great service attitude.
EEESHXinyuan Hot Spring Hotel, a one-stop shop for dining, drinking, and entertainment! 🌴
📍The location is superb, right at the terminal of Meilan Airport Line 1. You can easily get there right after your flight, saving both time and effort! And behind it is the Riyue Plaza food street – foodies, your culinary feast is about to begin! 🍔🍜
🚲Just a 1.5 km bike ride takes you to the city's largest offshore duty-free shop. Shopaholics, are you ready? The duty-free shop is packed with so many amazing goods, even Apple and Huawei phones! This time, you can shop till you drop! 🛍️💸
🛌The hotel itself receives rave reviews! The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. You can even switch rooms if you're not satisfied; the hygiene is impeccable, with clean and tidy rooms that put you in a good mood. The natural hot spring in the room offers the ultimate private bath experience; the hotel's scenery is also stunningly beautiful, with every corner being a great spot for photos! 📸🌿
🚗Transportation is incredibly convenient, making it easy to reach both the city center and surrounding attractions. This trip to Haikou was made even more perfect with the Xinyuan Hot Spring Hotel! 🌟
This is my second stay at this hotel, and I believe I won't be disappointed next time either!

SSophy0000Our stay at JW Marriott turned out to be a truly unforgettable and deeply touching experience.
During our stay, it happened to be our baby’s second birthday. Sharry prepared a birthday surprise for us that went far beyond anything we expected. It was not just a simple room decoration, but a genuine celebration of a child’s growth, done with real care and heart.
The room was beautifully decorated, but what moved me the most was this: almost all hotel staff personally wrote handwritten birthday wishes for our baby, folded each note into a heart, and placed them together in a glass bottle. Seeing that bottle filled with so many handwritten messages from different people was incredibly touching. It wasn’t just five-star service — it was warmth, sincerity, and human connection.
What made this experience even more special was that Sharry learned we had stayed at JW Marriott Khao Lak, Thailand, in October last year, and that our wonderful experience there was the reason we chose the JW Marriott brand again. After hearing this, she went the extra mile and coordinated with the team in Thailand to record a birthday greeting video for our daughter.
Receiving birthday wishes months later from familiar faces we had met before, from another country, was incredibly emotional and meaningful for us. It truly showed a level of care and connection that is very rare.
The hotel also prepared a birthday cake for our baby, and the next day surprised us again with a lovely animal-themed cake. The care didn’t stop at one moment; it continued throughout our stay.
In addition, our room was upgraded, and during the entire stay, Sharry checked in with us daily about our experience, always attentive but never intrusive. This kind of thoughtful, genuine service made us feel truly valued and well taken care of.
Objective feedback:
• The sound insulation of the room door is not very strong, and corridor noise can be noticeable
• Breakfast is average, without many highlights
• It would be great if the breakfast area could include clear allergen labeling, which would be very helpful for guests with food allergies
• The hotel feels more business-oriented and mature in style, and the overall resort atmosphere is not particularly strong
Overall, this is a hotel with solid facilities and exceptionally warm, thoughtful service. The sincere, unrequested, and carefully executed details made this stay truly special and memorable.
GGuest UserThe hotel environment is great and offers excellent value for money. The butler, Didan, provided truly exceptional and thoughtful service. I asked her questions almost every day, and she always responded patiently. I absolutely loved Butler Didan! The grounds were well-maintained, and I'll definitely come back if I have the chance. The restaurant service was also very good, and they even sent a complimentary fruit plate, which was a nice touch!
