WWolfislandA night at Engine Campsite is what every budget traveler secretly hopes for but rarely finds. It’s simple, affordable, and somehow feels like a five-star stay — just without walls, Wi-Fi passwords, or fake luxury. Instead, you get something better: space, silence, and a sky so full of stars it feels unreal. Easily ten thousand of them, minimum.
We fell asleep to the sounds of nature and woke up surrounded by it. During our stay, a couple of elephants casually passed by, as if they were part of the welcome committee. No fences, no drama — just respectful distance and a reminder that this is their land first.
Food was a highlight. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all included, and every meal was fresh, filling, and genuinely delicious. The kind of food that tastes even better because you’ve spent the day outdoors. Nothing fancy, just honest cooking done right.
What really made the experience special was the staff. Warm, attentive, and incredibly kind, they took care of us in a way that felt natural, not forced. We were looked after from start to finish, with smiles, patience, and a real sense of pride in what they do.
Engine Campsite proves that you don’t need luxury to feel spoiled — just good people, good food, wild surroundings, and a sky that never sleeps.

Aantho27J'ai séjourné au Las Vegas Hotel de Mbarara et l'expérience a été excellente du début à la fin. Le personnel est accueillant et attentionné, on se sent vraiment les bienvenus dès l'arrivée.
La chambre était propre et confortable, l'hôtel bien situé, et le tout à un prix très raisonnable. Vraiment un excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Je recommande sans hésitation et j'y reviendrai avec plaisir !

БОльшая территория, ухоженная, много деревьев и кустарников, так много разных красивых птичек, к нам прибегали обезьянки прямо на террасу, много цветных ящериц.
Хороший бассейн, комфортная температура, чистые полотенца, крем и масло.
Сразу из минусов- очень много мух на бассейне, требуется жесткий репеллент, в других африканских странах постоянно обрабатывали - это небольшое замечание.
Приятно побродить по территории.
Вечером можно встретить животных.
Номер очень аккуратный, два душа- один на улице, очень классно, комната небольшая , тесновато, но очень уютно и чисто. Хорошо течет вода горячая.
Надо отметить отдельно каждого сотрудника отеля, но не помним имена)
Каждый старался сделать пребывание приятным, комфортным и очень старались для нас.
Очень хороший ресторан, вкусная еда.
Завтрак обычный, европейский, можно взять с собой на сафари
Нам попался очень хороший гид Сильва, очень рекомендую его и ночное сафари, когда мы увидели леопарда.
Спасибо всем людям за прекрасное время в Уганде и в этом отеле
