The location is good and safe. Even though they don’t have room service, but the staffs are really nice. The breakfast doesn’t have that many options, but tasty! The toilet is clean.
Unfortunately I was not made aware of the rewards scheme the hotel has until the cleaners told me I'd already booked 8 nights by then...
The 1st room offered, well the tv didn't work so we had to move, no help with bags unfortunately....next room was fine no hairdryer so 1 was sent up from reception
The beds & pillows are so comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic the staff were lovely from front of house to the cleaners.
Thankyou for a lovely welcoming stay.
Nice clean hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, everything you need. I had an issue with the radiator on the first night as it just wouldn't turn off, this was quickly sorted once I told a member of staff.
On my last night I couldn't get into my room with the keycard, it was already gone midnight so I was tired and just wanted to go to sleep, It took 2 trip's to reception from the top floor before this was resolved which left me quite annoyed.
On my last morning I paid for breakfast, It was a little disappointing, very basic selection on the continental side and the sausages were very poor quality and couldn't eat. There is however a Toby carvery across the road where I had breakfast the day before at a cheaper price, I would recommend going there instead

The hotel's location is great, not far from the train station. I had originally planned to walk to the hotel from the train station to check in, then take a bus from a nearby stop to Chatsworth House. However, my train was delayed, which messed up my plans. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff, Ms. Louise, was very friendly and responsible. I would definitely stay here again next time.
The hotel reception was very friendly. We arrived late, around 9:30 PM, because we were shopping at Bicester Village. The hotel is next to a Holiday Inn and has a decent-sized parking lot; it costs 6 pounds for an overnight stay, deducted from the deposit. Our room rate included dinner, but since the restaurant closed at 9 PM, the hotel arranged for us to eat at the bar next door. We ordered steak and fish and chips, which were surprisingly good, especially the steak. The room and bed were both very spacious, and the breakfast was excellent, featuring smoked salmon. Everyone in our group agreed it was great. There's also a traditional British reception room near the entrance, perfect for taking photos!
Very pleasant reception area Attractively furnished
Good sized room with comfortable bed and good sized shower room too. Warm.
Hanging space and shelves
Hotel is very very dated Stairs rather tricky. No lift.
2 long windows with metal frames at the bottom one of which was disgustingly dirty. Fan in shower room not operating
Guest numbers were low as it was a Sunday night so I managed to park outside on the road incurring no charge rather than having to pay £10 for the privilege
of using the hotel car park
I would stay there again if the cost is reasonable as the situation is ideal for me
The reception staff were very welcoming, the bed was quite comfortable, and the location was good—supermarket within a few minutes' walk. The less satisfying aspects were that the room windows couldn't be opened, and the hotel's cleaning service was practically non-existent. I mentioned to the front desk several mornings that I wanted the room cleaned and even hung the ”please clean” sign on the doorknob, yet the room wasn't cleaned each day. It's unbelievable that a chain hotel has such poor cleaning standards.
The location is good, the room was pleasant and spacious. But the staff were a little slow, it took a long time to check in even though there were three staff on reception and one person before me, two were on the phone together. I understand busy times but they weren’t particularly in a hurry to help, explain or apologise. Also had a drink at the bar and again, the staff were a little slow to help. They were fine and adequate but not particularly friendly.
I have worked in customer facing roles and I’m not expecting the world but some hotels go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the staff here could definitely improve in this area. There was nothing wrong at this hotel and it was adequate for my needs but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again.
Thank you for everything in this hotel. Very kind counter, great location, very convenient for our self-help, the beautiful St. George's Cathedral is outside the window, the corner is the traditional market, and there are no supermarkets and stores on the road. Thank you!

GGuest UserLovely clean and welcoming hotel with great facilities. There is a spa and pool at the hotel and a restaurant. We ate in the bar area and the food and service was excellent. The receptionist was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.
CCostinaWE HAD A FRIDGE
The toilet sit had some soap smudge on it and initially thought is something else but if foamed when tried to clean it (I always have sanitizer with me as is only human to miss a spot and do a mistake. Didn't kill me cleaning that myself. Housekeeping job ain't easy. Bless you all. Just keep a better eye to avoid Karen type❤️) The receptionists were all friendly and happy to assist me with both check in and check out. We absolutely loved our room and the view was magnificent. The dawn was heavenly seen from our window❤️ What I loved the most was the fact that in the room we had a FRIDGE. Many hotels don't have that anymore and imagine having a room without a fridge with this heatwave going on 🥵 I will attach a photo with our beautiful view🤩 This hotel will be my top choice whenever I'll need a room around the area. Clean room, clean hallway, clean reception area. Please keep an eye for the accessible rooms. Read all description and detail before booking as they have special rooms for people with a health condition and the room will have some things at a low level to the ground. Will be your fault for not choosing the right room not the hotel's as you need to read description always. Don't take it out to the staff for your own mistake😊 Seen a lot complaining about that, as I've seen also about the rooms accessible and didn't understand the term initially, until I went through the details. After reading the details I knew exactly what room I need to book and what would not be convenient for me🙌 Bless you all and hope this review will be of help to some of you at least 😊

GGuest UserNice location for botanical gardens. Student style accommodation with fun decor, quirky games and games rooms. Useful kitchen, bonus pastry and coffee in the morning.

FForge Ahead Forge AheadThis hotel needs to be cheaper as asylum seekers live here, people on benefits live here, it's just accommodation so the costs needs to be reduced as there's no other anemities apart from a room to rest your head.
GGuest UserGreat money for value, great location, the bed is not too soft and very comfy. It's a shame there is no water boiler in the room and not enough space for putting anything down. The cleanliness is just mid as well. Otherwise, it's all good.
