It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

WE HAD A FRIDGE The toilet sit had some soap smudge on it and initially thought is something else but if foamed when tried to clean it (I always have sanitizer with me as is only human to miss a spot and do a mistake. Didn't kill me cleaning that myself. Housekeeping job ain't easy. Bless you all. Just keep a better eye to avoid Karen type❤️) The receptionists were all friendly and happy to assist me with both check in and check out. We absolutely loved our room and the view was magnificent. The dawn was heavenly seen from our window❤️ What I loved the most was the fact that in the room we had a FRIDGE. Many hotels don't have that anymore and imagine having a room without a fridge with this heatwave going on 🥵 I will attach a photo with our beautiful view🤩 This hotel will be my top choice whenever I'll need a room around the area. Clean room, clean hallway, clean reception area. Please keep an eye for the accessible rooms. Read all description and detail before booking as they have special rooms for people with a health condition and the room will have some things at a low level to the ground. Will be your fault for not choosing the right room not the hotel's as you need to read description always. Don't take it out to the staff for your own mistake😊 Seen a lot complaining about that, as I've seen also about the rooms accessible and didn't understand the term initially, until I went through the details. After reading the details I knew exactly what room I need to book and what would not be convenient for me🙌 Bless you all and hope this review will be of help to some of you at least 😊

Brilliant hotel clean everything you need staff absolutely amazing defo stop again

DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City was exactly what I needed during my business trip. Comfortable, reliable, and quietly kind. From the moment I arrived, the check-in was smooth and welcoming, and that first warm cookie felt like a small but genuine gesture of care after a long journey. The location is convenient, close to the city centre yet peaceful enough to rest. It made moving between meetings and personal time easy, something I truly appreciated. The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge. Breakfast offered a good variety and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made mornings feel easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive. What stood out the most was the consistency. Every part of the stay felt dependable and well cared for. That sense of steadiness made it easy to relax and focus on the purpose of the trip. Super convenient for the university. Clean and comfortable for a solo traveller. Noise can be an issue given close proximity to student halls

I recently stayed at the Rutland Hotel in Sheffield and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in an excellent location near the hospital, local shops and eateries and near a bus route which takes you directly into the town centre / railway station etc. The room was very spacious with lots of storage space, tea and coffee making facilities and the bathroom was modern and clean. The king size bed was really comfortable but one small criticism would be the pillows which could do with upgrading. That being said I have travelled extensively here and across the world and the one thing that always makes me want to revisit a hotel is the quality of service received. The staff at the Rutland hotel are simply exceptional from Alison who lifted my spirits by sorting out my restaurant order so I could eat in my room as I was exhausted after spending hours at my mums hospital bedside to Zoe the lovely lady who went into service my room and found my purse and rushed down to reception to return it to me. I will definitely return to this hotel and this is largely due to the lovely staff.

This is a good budget hotel, especially if you want to stay near to city centre or Rotherham general hospital 😊 The bedroom and bathroom are really spacious. There are basic stuffs available.😊 The parking is really spacious and free for 24 hours.😊 There is problem with temperature regulation of bathroom, especially shower. 😔  There wasn’t any towel available, so I rang them and they told me that they will bring one within 5 minutes, which neither arrived nor we were communicated about. If you can’t provide then just tell the customer it’s not available.😔 And there is no slipper available in bathroom/room. These are just reminder for someone willing to stay at a budget price in this hotel. 😔  Overall this was a good deal for me to spend a night near to Rotherham general hospital.😀😀

Great money for value, great location, the bed is not too soft and very comfy. It's a shame there is no water boiler in the room and not enough space for putting anything down. The cleanliness is just mid as well. Otherwise, it's all good.

Nice clean hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, everything you need. I had an issue with the radiator on the first night as it just wouldn't turn off, this was quickly sorted once I told a member of staff. On my last night I couldn't get into my room with the keycard, it was already gone midnight so I was tired and just wanted to go to sleep, It took 2 trip's to reception from the top floor before this was resolved which left me quite annoyed. On my last morning I paid for breakfast, It was a little disappointing, very basic selection on the continental side and the sausages were very poor quality and couldn't eat. There is however a Toby carvery across the road where I had breakfast the day before at a cheaper price, I would recommend going there instead

Really happy with the stay, we had a bit of an incident with a broken down car and my son arriving late to meet us, we asked if we could accomodate my son rather than him going to his shared accomadation. Reception couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was great, (especially the make your own waffles), rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Will definitely come back.
