Hotel-Restaurant Kriva Ćuprija

This hotel is amazing. The service is superb; you couldn’t ask for more friendly and attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the local area and best places to visit. The location is right in the heart of Mostar near to the bridge and old town and the bedrooms were great quality and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was also amazing with a buffet of hot food, cold continental food, fruit and local baklava style pastries. It was easy to fill up sufficiently to not need lunch! I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough though we were slightly disappointed with the evening meal we had on the first night. It was only when we later compared the meal to what we could have received elsewhere we realised that, despite being nice food, seemed over priced as we didn’t get a lot of the main course to eat. It did include starter, dessert and a coffee and liqueur so overall not bad value, but would have preferred to order al a carte and not set as we wouldn’t have bothered with half of what was included. We were offered the set menu at €25 - €28 each which was cooked under a dome in a traditional Bosnian fashion. They offered it in beef, veal, chicken or fish and, as there were four of us, the waiter suggested we have one of each and share. This sounded like a good idea except the meat portions were so small they were physically difficult to quarter. The fish was a better portion size as it was a whole fish. It came with slow cooked potatoes, peppers, aubergines etc which was delicious but I don’t think we got a portion which was four times the size had we have ordered just one. The starter was a fairly basic salad which was nice but the sharing platter was presented before we’d finished it so felt somewhat rushed. We actually hadn’t finished our pre food drinks before the starter and wine was brought out too. The dessert plates were all different traditional pastries which were just given to us (no selection involved). They were nice and we shared them as much as we could. This is in total contrast to the rest of the hotel experience, I’d just recommend staying here and eating out somewhere else.
Hotel Grand

Perfect little hotel for the early morning train to Mostar! By taxi it's only 5 mins away. Everything is clean and comfy. They packed me a takeaway breakfast that I could enjoy on the train! The day receptionist was amazing but the lady in the night was clueless. I had to walk all the way to the gas station (~10mins) to get a bottle of water, because the room doesn't come with any. But she forgot(?) to inform me that the tap water is drinkable! 1:30am in my pyjamas to quench a late night thirst wasn't fun. Bathtub was a bit weird to use, as the hose didn't extend and seemed like it was only available as a jacuzzi/ tub format, instead of a shower.

Great hotel with an interesting historical background in a historical city; It's a little over 20 mins walk to the city center, however I choose this hotel because I have a car and this hotel has a very good parking lot for guest. You may take #6 tram to most city sights on this circle line. Hotel breakfast was very good, however the hotel facilities and deco look little dated, and internet was very slow on 8th floor when we were there.
Hotel Aziza

The hotel is in the perfect location, scenic views all round and near restaurants, shops etc. It is walking distance to old town and a lot of the sights, like the cable car, the wooden fountain, historical mosques, city hall, eternal flame, museums, markets, etc. Take a short walk up to Yellow Fortress near the hotel for some breathtaking views! The hotel is super clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to make your experience even better! The room itself was huge, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was fantastic, you’re given toiletries and tea, coffee etc. Used the sauna which is free and you book sessions with the reception staff. Breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty, buffet style with a variety of juices and coffees/teas, ate so much! Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again when I visit Sarajevo and Bosnia again, loved it! Thank you :-)
Hotel Sinan HAN

We were in Mostar during the off season and the hotel staff Ms Lela was kind enough to upgrade our room since the room we booked was on the top floor and was very small. It would be quite difficult to carry a luggage up the stairs as they did not have any elevators and both my husband and I are over 60 yrs old. The other lady on duty, Ms Elma was also very helpful in helping us to arrange for a taxi in Mostar and transport to Sarajevo. The location was near the old town..easy access to walk to the old bridge. Near a big supermarket . I would recommend Sinan Han . They are scheduled for some upgrading works and additional rooms so maybe there would be a elevator installed for easy access to the rooms.
Residence Inn Sarajevo

This hotel is very convenient for visiting Sarajevo. It has its own parking which can be hard to find in town, and is located only a very beautiful 10 min walk to the Old Town. Rooms are good size and hotel is newer and clean. Front Desk is very friendly and helpful with recommendations. However - what causes me to give this hotel a ‘good’ but not ‘great’ is lack of attention to detail. We stayed 2 nights and left the housekeeper a tip after the first night. The next morning, and we didn’t realize it until it was too late - she had not refilled our coffee packets and also had not refilled the shampoo bottle in the shower (it was completely empty). This lack of attention to detail is a little peeve, especially after we left a tip. But I hope management addresses it in the future - because the hotel has the potential to be a 5/5 on TripAdvisor.
Hotel & Spa Villa Meydan

This hotel is at a very central location, convenient to get to both the Old Town and train station. The room is very clean and modern, my biggest complaint is that the curtain is not blackout, so for someone sensitive to light like myself struggle to sleep well, this does seem to be quite common in BiH though to use non-blackout curtain. The breakfast at this hotel is decent with a handful of choices, what I enjoyed most is the swimming pool and the sauna in the basement, despite it is a small boutique hotel, so it was never crowded due to the small number of rooms here. PS: This hotel is on the Muslim side of Mostar, so alcohol is banned.
Old Town Hotel

The room is small but very clean. There are no toothbrush sets or paper towels. The location is very good. It is right in the center of the old city. There are many scenic spots around. There are many delicacies that can be checked in. It is suitable for lazy people to eat and go shopping
Swissôtel Sarajevo

Almost impeccable, it is a good choice in Sarajevo, comfortable and spacious, rich and delicious breakfast, which is the guarantee of a perfect journey. It would be perfect if there is a bathtub.
