This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel facilities are new and complete, from the smart room controls to the high-quality bathroom fixtures, you can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, and the mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—ensuring a restful night's sleep. The public areas are also very stylish; whether it's the lobby bar or the gym, everything is kept spotless. It's an excellent choice for both business trips and leisure vacations.

It is an awesome stay in experiences. The hotel staffs are so friendly & helpful! Special thanks to hotel staff Karson for helping us with the hotel surrounding directory and he is so nice to free upgrade our room to families suite when he saw that we got a child staying in too. We will definitely stay in this hotel when we are back to Changchun. Many thanks to all the hotel staffs.

This hotel stay completely redefined my understanding of what a truly excellent accommodation should be! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the warm lighting and soothing music in the lobby immediately put me at ease. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional; check-in was super efficient, and they even proactively upgraded my room, which was a delightful surprise! The hotel also thoughtfully provided Type-C charging ports. The room itself was absolutely flawless: the bedding was incredibly soft, and with the blackout curtains drawn, it created a perfect sleeping environment. Even the bathroom was impressive, featuring a smart toilet and a large rainfall showerhead – every detail showcased thoughtful design and comfort. The hotel gym was equipped with brand-new machines. Breakfast offered such a vast selection that it was hard to choose, with everything from Chinese hot congee and fried dough sticks to Western pastries and coffee, truly catering to all tastes. The location is also superb, just a few minutes' walk from the nearest subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. This entire stay was absolutely perfect – a definite five-star experience! I wouldn't hesitate to choose this hotel again for my next trip.

The room was very spacious. We arrived quite late, well past midnight, but the front desk quickly checked us in. After we checked out, the front desk called to let us know we'd left a power cord behind and immediately offered to mail it to us via WeChat. However, since it was for our child's constant-temperature kettle, we decided to go back and pick it up. The hotel's service was warm, thoughtful, and proactive, with a very positive attitude. The breakfast staff were also incredibly enthusiastic. We were very satisfied with this stay!
It's convenient, clean, and the breakfast was decent. It allowed for a quiet and peaceful rest. It will be my first choice for future visits, especially since its location was very convenient for us as we were self-driving. Being newly opened, everything felt fresh and new.

The Grand Hyatt Changchun is probably the best hotel in Changchun.
First, my complaints: Honestly, the design is illogical. The driveway from the car entrance/exit to the lobby is a tiny, U-shaped hairpin turn! The public area of the lobby has no sofas, so a bunch of people were standing around waiting to check in! The underground parking garage is practically for expert drivers only!
It was the National Day holiday, and we booked two king rooms. One room's key card was ready at 3 PM, but the other wasn't available until 5 PM. Last year during the National Day holiday, the InterContinental Taiyuan's efficiency was far, far better than the Grand Hyatt Changchun.
Now, for the praise: The decor is very new, the rooms are spacious, and having the toilet and shower separate is a huge plus. The facilities are also very new, and the bedding meets Grand Hyatt's high standards. When they couldn't free up a room, they upgraded us. A senior manager in the lobby, who spoke fluent Cantonese, was excellent at communicating and managing the situation. Her attitude was very good, and she handled issues promptly. I hope the hotel can improve its service efficiency and optimize processes like check-in, public areas, and luggage service.
Ultimately, if you come to Changchun, I still recommend staying at the Grand Hyatt Changchun. It's centrally located, and the facilities are great. I give it five stars. However, try to avoid coming during holidays; your experience might be better on weekdays.

Convenient and convenient, located in the city center, you can walk to Chongqing Road business district, and it takes about 10 minutes by bus to reach Guilin Road snack street. The house is fully equipped with basic appliances, clean and tidy, and has good sound insulation
The hotel's butler service was excellent, almost 24/7, and any issues were promptly resolved. The hot springs♨️ were also very comfortable, especially in the morning when it's exclusively open to guests – fewer people, more peaceful, and great for photos. My skin felt so smooth after soaking! Plus, there's a direct shuttle bus to Changbai Mountain, which means no waiting in lines, which was really great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Changbai Mountain.

Somewhat like a state guesthouse, the walls are adorned with photos of former leaders, including ***, who stayed there during their visits.
The hotel lobby manager and front desk staff were all incredibly warm and friendly.
Ctrip provided a complimentary ethnic costume experience; the clothes were beautiful, and with the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival festivities in full swing, the hotel had a wonderful atmosphere perfect for taking photos.
The breakfast was quite plentiful, offering both Western and Chinese options, as well as local specialties like rice cakes, three-color rice sausages, and vegetable noodle soup.
Next to the hotel is Yeonsong Restaurant, which serves Korean cuisine and barbecue; the food and ambiance were excellent, definitely worth a second visit.
Highly recommended!
My friend recommended this hotel for my business trip, as it's close to their place. The hotel has a large courtyard, which makes parking convenient, and it's not far from Nanhu Park, so you can take a stroll after dinner. The hotel was renovated in 2024, so the facilities are relatively new. The bed and pillows are quite comfortable. There's a self-service laundry room and a gym. However, the room is quite small; the shower stall is so tiny you can't even turn around. This was the main reason I switched hotels after staying two nights. The overall hygiene was decent. Service was mediocre; they didn't offer things that should have been provided during check-in, and the mini-bar was empty. I had to ask at the front desk the next day to get tickets for the Liu Laogen Grand Stage. The front desk manager seemed nice and even offered to put extra drinks in the mini-bar, but in the end, it was just one Coke and one Sprite. What kind of management is that, *chuckles*. The breakfast selection is quite good for a four-star standard. However, I noticed leftover noodles from the previous guest on a supposedly cleaned table. They start clearing the food promptly at 9:30 AM, right on the dot, without any prior warning to guests on the first day. Overall, I'd say the hotel's rating should be a pretty good four-star. It's confusing how Ctrip's four/five-star ratings and four/five-diamond ratings are all over the place.

Very Good
HHaizheweitaoThe service was great, but the facilities had some notable flaws. The service was good, the butler followed up promptly, the concierge was proactive and reliable, and the staff were generally enthusiastic. However, the breakfast restaurant was too small and didn't match the hotel's scale; it was crowded with long queues, and the variety wasn't rich. There was no way to dry clothes, no self-service laundry room, and the laundry service didn't even offer a separate drying option. The resort's design was inconvenient; even for Switzerland, it wasn't close to the ski slopes. Walking there meant going through the entire amusement area, so it was better to wait for the shuttle bus. Fortunately, the shuttle bus was quick, so there wasn't a long wait. The EP activity center was a letdown; the kids complained there was nothing to do. The candied hawthorn craft activity was also unavailable; you could only pick it up at a specific time. Skiing was okay overall, but it didn't quite live up to its family-friendly resort positioning. The snowboard bindings didn't have true children's sizes, which were much too large for 5–6-year-olds.

OOlivier22❄️ The hotel is not the most convenient choice for families with young children or for less experienced skiers, as it is located away from the city centre. Guests always need to rely on shuttles or taxis to get around. The city centre is also where the hot springs, water park, and the snow and ice attractions are located, so unfortunately a lot of time is wasted in transport.
🚐 Shuttle service is a clear area for improvement. The frequency is limited, and we often had to wait quite a while—sometimes missing two full shuttles before being able to board. Increasing the number of shuttles would make a big difference.
🎿 Ski passes are flexible: they can be used on any day, including check-in and check-out days. Usage is limited to once per night, and you can choose either daytime or nighttime skiing—but not both on the same day. However, you don’t need to use them on consecutive days, which gives families more freedom to plan rest days.
🏠 On the positive side, the room was spacious and well equipped. The bar, fitness area, ping-pong room, and yoga room were all enjoyable and added variety to the stay.
Breakfast is also quite varied and good.
GGuest UserOur trip to Changbai Mountain this time was fantastic, and I have to give a huge shout-out to the excellent service! Right from the start, Manager Benjamin had everything perfectly organized, from details like ski equipment deposits, operating hours, and hot spring reservations, to even sending videos of the routes to the ski resort. We didn't have to worry about a thing. What was most thoughtful was how customer service would proactively remind us of every schedule point, such as breakfast times, shuttle departures, and when the ski resort closed. They were more punctual than my own alarm clock! The hotel rooms were also clean and tidy.
MManish HKThis hotel have spacious service apartments, rooms are big, clean, hotel staff is always helpful.
10 min car ride from chang bai shan railway station.
Issues I faced : there is a huge taxi shortage in the city during the peak tourist season, one days even i had to walk 3.3 kilometres in - 15 degrees temperatures to reach to downtown , DIDI and T3 service works here but taxi waiting is normally 40 min to 1 hour long.
As a forigner the Hotel location was little odd for me and lots of precious time wasted in taxi waiting, breakfast location is 300 metres far from room, which was not convenient as me and family didn't want to walk in - 20 degree temperature to eat breakfast, I stayed 5 days, but only 2 days I dare to go for breakfast.
For stay this place is so good, so clean, warm. If you have your car, then no issue at all.

MM8821****I managed to get tickets for the Changchun Airshow, so I booked a hotel on Ctrip. To my surprise, I found out that IHG had just opened a new InterContinental Hotel in Changchun this year – the InterContinental Changchun Gaoxin. I immediately placed an order, but it was fully booked on the 18th and 19th. To stay at an InterContinental, I decided to extend my trip by a day.
My stay was incredibly comfortable. The decor is a new Chinese-style light luxury and minimalist design, and the cleanliness definitely met five-star standards. The highlight of the facilities was the Kohler smart sensor toilet – no need to lift the lid yourself!
Finally, let's talk about the service. Every staff member I interacted with greeted me with a smile and was eager to help. I especially want to commend Lobby Manager Wang Xue; her service was truly a 'five-star benchmark.' When she learned that we had specifically adjusted our airshow schedule to stay at the hotel, she not only proactively helped us confirm the transportation routes to the airshow venue but also thoughtfully prepared portable bottled water and a sunscreen reminder card.
This stay truly made me feel that 'InterContinental quality' isn't just about luxurious hardware; it's also about the warmth hidden within their service. Even having to wait an extra day to stay here was completely worth it. The next time I come to Changchun, this hotel will definitely be my first choice!
Haha! And there's a capsule coffee machine ☕️
MM227506****Really satisfied with this hotel, the service was excellent, truly a hidden gem! The location is absolutely fantastic; the subway station is right outside, making it super convenient to get to tourist attractions and shopping areas. Plus, a snack street is just a few minutes' walk away. The room was much more spacious than I expected, with great natural light and a nice view from the window. For this area, the price offers incredible value for money, easily rivaling those big-name chain hotels. The housekeeping staff cleaned meticulously every day and even proactively helped replenish our drinking water. After a three-day stay, my experience was perfect, and I've already recommended it to my colleagues!
