Best location right next to Metro subway station Songhua Road station Exit B. Look for Bld 3 and it's on the 17, 18 floor. The receptionist treats you like a VIP guest from the. moment you arrive. Complimentary afternoon tea and other surprises on arrival. Smart room with smart everything from toilet to movie projector. Very easy to book 1 to 4 days tours with China Travel Service in Bld 5, or via brochures located in reception or ground floor. We love this art deco boutique hotel so much that we stay ed at the beginning and end of our travel in Guizhou for a total of four nights with four nights tour throughout Guizhou due to the vast distances between attractions. We were able to store our large luggage with them for four nights. They even packed a free breakfast for us on the day of our four nights tour as our coach departed at 06:00 am. I would definitely recommend this hotel as the No. 1 choice for anyone coming to Guizhou. Allow yourself 5-7 days to take in all the natural sceneries that Guizhou offers.

This hotel is conveniently located in Building 7 of the Huaguoyuan CBD. There's a lively night market right downstairs every evening, making it super convenient for dining. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. Guizhou's beautiful mountains and rivers, along with the wonderfully cool temperatures, truly made for a fantastic experience. Plus, the cat butler was absolutely adorable!

Kempinski Hotel Guiyang - Highly Recommended
* **Attentive Service:** The concierge was prompt in greeting us, opening the car door and assisting with luggage immediately upon arrival. The front desk proactively upgraded our room and sent complimentary fruit, truly demonstrating 5-star service.
* **Comfortable Room:** The room was clean, spacious, and offered unobstructed panoramic views from a high floor. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a very pleasant and relaxing rest after our travels.
* **Dining Highlights:** Breakfast offered a rich selection, including local Guizhou specialties such as Cuisao Noodles and Glutinous Rice.
* **Excellent Location:** Approximately a 15-minute drive from the airport, and within walking distance to Jiaxiu Tower and the main shopping district, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
* **Thoughtful Details:** Upon departure, the concierge once again assisted with our luggage and even presented us with a special Guiyang-themed fridge magnet as a lovely souvenir.
Overall, we had a truly enjoyable stay. I highly recommend the Kempinski to anyone visiting Guiyang!
Highly recommended! First off, the hotel is conveniently located halfway up the mountain, so it's not a strenuous climb to get there. The room balconies are thoughtfully equipped with tea, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing cup while taking in the stunning panoramic views of the entire Miao Village – it's incredibly pleasant. There's also a spacious terrace, which is incredibly photogenic. The service was excellent too; they offer complimentary coffee, afternoon tea, and nuts daily, and we even received welcome fruit upon arrival. Breakfast was both hearty and delicious, and the evenings were wonderfully quiet. My friend and I had initially planned to stay for just one day, but we ended up extending our stay for an additional night because the hotel was so comfortable.
Hidden halfway up the mountain in the Miao Village, Jian Shan Yi Fang Jian Su is an absolute gem! Choosing this guesthouse was the best decision we made for our trip to Qianhu Miao Village. It's nestled on a small hillside near the forestry station, and it only takes a 3-minute climb to reach this stunning view. It offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle while still being close to the core area – a private rooftop viewing platform is just a minute's walk away. The stacked stilt houses built into the mountain create a breathtaking scene; when morning mist drifts over the terraced fields, it's like an ethereal ink-wash painting. At night, the valley lights up with thousands of twinkling lights, and you can fall asleep under a canopy of stars right from your bed.
The afternoon tea, with its unique Miao touches, was delightful. Enjoying it on the terrace while admiring the scenery made for perfect photo opportunities, capturing the essence of ethnic charm. The service was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. The butler planned our itinerary in advance, picked us up at the forestry station, and even arranged for porters to carry our luggage. After climbing the stone paths, a Miao herbal foot bath was already prepared, and a warm, sweet soup before bed chased away all our fatigue.
The wooden rooms retain the authentic charm of the Miao Village while featuring modern smart devices, perfectly blending comfort and local character. Here, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant life of the Miao Village and enjoy a light luxury travel experience. Next time I visit Qianhu Miao Village, I will definitely stay here again!
The location is absolutely fantastic! It's a mere 5-minute walk to Qingyun Market and about a 10-minute stroll to Jiaxiu Tower, making it super convenient for sightseeing and dining. The hotel's interior facilities are modern and practical, with smart room controls (voice-activated curtains and lighting), and the bathroom was dry and odor-free. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The front desk lady proactively upgraded my room, and the butler was quick to respond to any queries. Plus, they offered a complimentary double breakfast, and the hotel also provides laundry and gym services, which is very convenient.

Staying at this hotel in Guiyang was such great value! The location is absolutely perfect, right near the Pingshuichi subway station, making it easy to get anywhere. The room has excellent soundproofing, and the high-speed WiFi is great for streaming shows without any buffering. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the front desk staff are incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist. It offers amazing value for money – I stayed for three days and didn't want to leave!

I hastily picked a hotel in Guiyang while on a road trip, and it turned out to be a great experience. The parking lot is across from the hotel, so you have to walk a short distance with your luggage (the hotel thoughtfully asked if I needed help, but I declined as I didn't have much). The front desk guy was super welcoming and even upgraded my room. Another staff member was also very friendly, helping me with my bags to the room and thoughtfully explaining how to use the smart devices, and they even sent up a fruit platter. The room itself was compact but well-designed, clean, and tidy. Crucially, the hotel's location is fantastic; it's convenient for getting anywhere, and there are lots of great food and drink options nearby: Yu Niang Crispy Potatoes, 'Laoguo' (a type of hot pot), and 'Bingjiang' (a local shaved ice dessert).
Where Ancient Caves Meet Cascading Waterfalls and a River of Stars
Guizhou's wild heart and gentle soul are perfectly captured within this Chishui Danxia region.
My very first stop on this trip, and I unexpectedly fulfilled a small wish I had for 2025! I checked into Arro Khampa by J&L Hotels!
Nestled in Zunyi's mystical Chishui Danxia region, it’s a genuinely unique cave and waterfall hotel.
The 25 rooms, transformed from 11 century-old traditional homes, are divided into the 'Cave Zone' and 'Bamboo Whisper Zone'. Its 50-meter transparent swimming pool directly overlooks twin waterfalls! Leaning by the pool's edge, you can practically feel the mist. During afternoon tea, clouds and mist drift through the bamboo canopies. The scenery is so breathtaking, it truly needs no filter.
The cave lobby glows with flickering candlelight 🔥. A 100-meter deep corridor conceals a fire pit bar. A meditation room is tucked behind stalactites... It feels like stumbling into a secret chamber from an adventure novel. The designers have truly outdone themselves, creatively blending Danxia stone and glass to stunning effect.
The service was exceptional, with thoughtful touches evident in every small detail ❤️. They even provided complimentary tickets to the ancient town 🎫. A huge thank you to J&L Hotels for a truly romantic Qixi Festival.

This stay was a complete surprise and a total delight! The front desk attendant was incredibly thoughtful; seeing we had a child, she proactively upgraded us to a family suite, which immediately earned our full appreciation. The room was super spacious, and the slide in the dedicated kids' room kept our little one happily occupied non-stop. The cleanliness was top-notch, and mineral water was generously replenished – excellent attention to detail. All the hotel staff were exceptionally polite, and the service was warm and thorough. What was even more surprising was the extensive amenities: an indoor and outdoor kids' playground, plus a petting zoo, which kept our child entertained all day long. It's only 1.2 km from Huangguoshu Scenic Area, making it super convenient whether you're driving or using other transport, saving time and hassle. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of options to satisfy everyone in the family. The overall experience was superb, offering incredible value for money. I've already recommended it to friends traveling with kids, and we'll definitely stay here again next time!

AAnonymous UserThe right way to open it is to come to Wujiangzhai and stay in the scenic spot. Mushan Hotel is at the highest point of the village. You need to take a car to go to the core scenic area. We booked Building 2. In the early morning, when we opened the window on the balcony, we were surrounded by green trees and the chirping of birds. The hotel service is very good. You can get free tickets, free shuttle bus, and free parking fees. The staff also helps to check in your luggage. Special thanks to the front desk of the hotel. Because the family brought a lot of things with them on a family trip, a bag of the child's things fell in the lobby. It was only when I went to bed at night that I remembered that there was a tablet in it. I hurriedly went to the lobby to look for it. I didn't expect to find it, but I didn't expect it. The staff has picked it up and placed it at the front desk. Just for this reason, this scenic spot is worth visiting again.
PPUI MENGI booked this hotel as I had read good reviews. Indeed this B&B is impressive. The room is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. There is even a bathtub next to the window with a view.
You will need to contact the hotel owner prior to arrival at the village so that a porter will meet you at No. 6 风雨桥, which is located about 100 meters where the shuttle bus drop you at the entrance to the village. You will not be able to find your way to the hotel as the entrance to the hotel is rather hidden away. The two young chaps who picked us were extremely polite, cheerful and eager to serve. They carried our luggages where we walked to reach the station of a golf cart type of vehicle. You board the vehicle and alight at the first stop up the mountain (see picture 6).
The simple breakfast fare of home-cooked noodle soup with minced pork, hard boiled egg, sweet corn and sweet potato was delicious. The soup base looked bland but it was very tasty.
The location of this B&B is superb as you can walk down the slope to reach the village center in 10 minutes.
Tip: we took the golf cart vehicle and travelled uphill and alighted at the end (Pastoral Sightseeing area) where there is roundabout for the vehicle to loop back to the terminal. It is recommended to alight here where you will see beautiful vast green pastures and lotus flowers were in bloom.
You can then wait for the sightseeing bus (your entrance ticket would cover four sightseeing bus trips) at the opposite platform and it will bring you to the top viewing platform to see the whole village lighted up in the evening.
To return to the hotel, you then take the sightseing bus back to the Pastoral Sightseeing area. From here you wait for the golf cart vehicle to transfer you back to the hotel.
How I wish someone had posted these information on this Trip.com review platform as it was a bit confusing on how to take the different vehicles in the mountain.
Lastly, thank you to the owner of this B&B for making our trip a memorable one.
SSmit_94Wow! Where do I even begin…?! Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived until we left, we experienced friendliness from all the staff members. They were all always eager to help and most of them can speak a little English but the translator works wonders as well and they were all very patient with using it. We initially only booked for one night but once arriving at the hotel and seeing the premises and rooms, we knew we had to immediately book another night as it exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, the room we were in wasn’t available for the second night but the staff upgraded us to a better room for the second night with one of the most amazing views! Breakfast was served as a buffet, it’s not very big but it has everything you need and it was delicious! There is a tea experience daily after 6:30pm where you can sit around the fire and grill some nuts, potatoes, sweet potatoes and snack on fruits while sipping on some iced white tea. On the 4th floor of the main building there is also a tea room where you can make your own tea and sip on it while enjoying the magnificent views from the viewing deck. On our second day, Jiao Jiao, the manager of the hotel, took us to the Baling River museum of bridges as well as to the viewing point of Dishuitan Waterfall. She was so helpful, friendly & kind. This hotel will forever be special to us as we got engaged here on our first night so we will definitely be back for many more visits in the future. I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. If you find yourself looking for a place to relax and unwind, look no further! Book this hotel, you won’t regret it! Special thank you to all the staff that helped us during our stay - 小陶、小万和小绒 - you were all so attentive and went above and beyond. All I can say is thank you!! See you again soon!

MM16697****On our ninth day of traveling in Guizhou with my mother, we arrived at a Dong village, and it exceeded our expectations. The guesthouse owner was incredibly friendly; from confirming our booking beforehand to providing pick-up and drop-off service at Congjiang High-Speed Railway Station, the unfamiliarity of this new city instantly disappeared. Although the guesthouse isn't on the main street, it's not far away, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle – a perfect choice for those who prefer quiet. The house is very unique, the rooms are clean and well-equipped, and the view from the window is fantastic. If you're returning late, you can contact the owner for a pick-up from a designated spot. We were there quite late after watching a Dong folk song performance, and the owner came to pick us up, saving us a lot of effort. We loved their breakfast – plentiful and delicious! The guesthouse doesn't serve lunch, but I recommended Nongfu Renjia Restaurant, which was excellent; we ate there for lunch two days in a row. Good service is essential for a satisfying stay in a Dong village. I highly recommend Yishanju!
ZZhangtiantiandetiantianIf the B&Bs in Qiangu Miao Village were like this, I would come every year!
The first time I came to Qianhu Miao Village, I stayed at this Life Treasure B&B. After entering Miao Village, you can take the shuttle bus directly to the entrance of the B&B. The location is very close to the observation deck and far from the pedestrian street, but there is also a shuttle bus. , very convenient.
There are two large beds for the two of us! It is enough to sleep four people! This way, the average cost per person is just over 100, and there are beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows that can see the scenery of the entire Miao Village from a distance, which is really artistic.
Afternoon tea is also provided in the afternoon, with desserts, drinks, and fruits, and the presentation is exquisite. You can sit by the window for breakfast, and the window can be opened. It is so pleasant to eat a rich breakfast, look at the scenery of the Miao Village, and breathe the fresh air of the mountains!
The whole house is smart, and the curtains, lights, and air conditioners can be controlled by voice. I like the fact that there are two sinks. It is very convenient to put on makeup and other things with my sisters. I also like the oversized projection screen. It’s so comfortable to lie on the bed at night and watch the night view of Qianhu Miao Village! If you want to go to Qianhu Miao Village, you can really choose this hotel!
YYikuaixiaobingganoAdvantages: The homestay is a single-family courtyard, decorated very small and fresh,
Very good, mainly pet friendly, we are very convenient to bring the dog, the boss also helped to take the suitcase, parking is free, sleep well at night, the pillow is very comfortable, when I left, I said that I had to have a link. I forgot, and the breakfast rice noodles made by the boss are super delicious! It's a bit spicy, but it's super fragrant! Loved love!
Disadvantages: The location seems to be in a scenic area. It is a bit difficult to find a car. After a circle, I finally asked the boss to find the way in. If there is a first reminder how to drive, it would be better. I feel that the boss is a bit Buddhist, and the service awareness is still a bit lacking. 😂. Because it is a small single-family building, the room is relatively compact, the area is relatively small, the stairs are a bit steep, and it is very loud when you hear outside in the morning.
Overall it is good 😎

MM482833****The experience at Sofitel Guiyang Hunter was absolutely fantastic! Lydia and Monica at the front desk were incredibly efficient and attentive, patiently answering all my questions. Mike's recommendations for local food were authentic and delicious, helping me avoid any tourist traps. The hotel's location is superb, right next to Hunter Mall, and within walking distance of Jiaxiu Tower and Minsheng Road Snack Street. It's incredibly convenient for transportation, making it easy to cover all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs. The room was clean and comfortable, with soft bedding and well-maintained facilities, ensuring a great rest. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit to Guiyang!
WWongyThis is the best hotel you will get in Rongjiang. I would say the standard of fit out is similar to a Atour hotel for example. However, this is a brand new property and has a lot of gaps and it feels like the hotel is at a pre opening stage rather than a fully opened hotel.
The Landry in very small basically only one washing machine and one dryer. But after each wash there was water leaks all over the floor as they have not installed the water pipes properly.
The rooms are clean but air con keeps on switching off and you need to keep on changing cold settings to turn it back on. Another annoying thing is the toilet light. Even when turned on the sensors will turn off the light halfway through a shower. So you need to wave the sensor to turn the lights on again.
The reception staff are friendly but clearly lack the polished service. I purchase two nights and added to additional night which I paid at the hotel. But the evening staff don’t seem to communicate with the morning shift. I received a call on the third day around lunchtime asking why I didn’t check out when I paid for two extra nights at reception.
There is supposed to be a gym but no equipment and the football field below is nice but entrance to the field is not yet setup.
Finally, breakfast is very very basic so don’t expect much. Noodles, eggs and a few veggie dishes but quality is quite low.
SSengelinqinTreasure B&B must be recommended! The room is bright and clean, the navigation is accurate and drives directly to the suspension bridge entrance. After the suspension bridge, it is Shiqiao Paper House. The location alone is very unique. I just wanted to find a rural B&B to relax, but I didn't expect it to be so fun. I have to give a special praise to the beautiful proprietress. As soon as we met, she recommended a lot of practical travel guides to me: the ancient papermaking workshop with a hole (the cave is 1,500 meters deep and has been used for hundreds of years), the large rock wall papermaking place (built on the mountain and still in hot production), the colorful paper street, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage who is very good at telling stories... let us have a colorful one-day holiday. This is a place that I will definitely visit twice. When the warm summer comes and the stream gurgles, I will invite friends to go there together.
