The room quality is excellent. They thoughtfully provide a clothes drying rack, down jackets, and raincoats, which are perfect for Huangshan's characteristic rainy and misty weather. The hotel's location is at the junction of the Xihai, Beihai, and Tianhai (Bright Summit) areas. It's about a 15-minute walk to Paiyun Pavilion for sunset and Danxia Peak for sunrise. Reaching the traditional sunrise viewing spot at Bright Summit takes about 45 minutes. It's very suitable for guests planning a day and a half or two-day itinerary. There are also special performances in the evening. The hotel's buffet quality is also very good. In addition to traditional Chinese and Anhui specialty dishes, there are also some Western-style options, making it very friendly for international tourists.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, especially with shopping areas nearby, making it easy to buy what we needed and explore around. The towels provided were a bit worn out, but they were clean and fresh, which we appreciated. The food was okay—simple and satisfying enough for a comfortable stay. We also noticed that the staff politely reminded guests not to wear slippers in the dining hall for safety purposes, which shows they care about everyone’s well-being. Overall, it was a nice and comfortable experience, and we enjoyed our stay.

The room facilities are complete, comfortable, and spacious. The underground parking lot is huge. The front desk staff, Ms. Qunqun, provided excellent service. The breakfast was rich and varied, with delicious beef soup and sesame flatbread. The environment is beautiful and pleasant, and the large lake offers great scenery. It's a wonderful place to visit in the spring.

Where to stay in Luyang District? Shangri-La, of course! Don't ask me how I know, I've experienced it firsthand (quiet, clean, and fully equipped). The rooms are quite spacious, just a bit dated in terms of decor. They could definitely add an air purifier. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's peaceful, which I really like. The coffee is decent, though there aren't many Western breakfast options.

This hotel is located in the direction of the Yungu Temple cable car on the back of Huangshan Mountain, about a 40-minute walk away. On the way, you'll pass by Shixin Peak and the 'Magic Pen Blooms' scenic spot. The hotel faces 'Monkey Watching the Sea,' making it perfect for guests who start their ascent late in the afternoon on their first day. The hotel is very new, and the public areas are quite luxurious. The only drawback is that the rooms are a bit small. They offer a buffet for 198 RMB per person with excellent dishes and a wide variety of fruits; children under 1.2 meters eat for free. The concierge, Xinyu, is very attentive and responds quickly. The hotel also organizes guided sunset and sunrise viewing activities, and there are evening performances. Plus, the view from the observation deck in front of the hotel is already stunning. If there's heavy fog in the mountains and you can't see the peaks from the observation deck, there's no need to climb up to 'Monkey Watching the Sea.'

Upon arrival, everything was perfectly arranged, and my room was upgraded. I also received welcome fruits and drinks. From the moment I stepped out of the car to the lobby and then to the front desk, multiple staff members proactively offered to help with my luggage. Every staff member I encountered, from the entrance to my room, greeted me with a smile. When checking out, the doorman actively assisted with my luggage. 2. **Facilities**: The room facilities were all standard and complete, including an air purifier. The AC had low noise, and hot water was instant (within 3 seconds). I didn't find any damaged facilities or noticeable hygiene issues. The toiletries were InterContinental's standard, and they were decent. The toilet paper and tissue paper were comfortable to use. The toothbrush quality was acceptable, but the brush head was small and a bit hard on the gums; I suggest the hotel consider changing them. 3. **Dining (see pictures)**: The variety and taste of the food at the Executive Lounge's Happy Hour were the best I've ever experienced at a hotel – truly excellent value for money! The breakfast quality was also remarkably high, rarely seen even in standard five-star hotels; it was simply stunning. 4. **Location**: It's in the government district, with all amenities nearby and convenient transportation. It's also right next to Swan Lake, offering excellent views. I rarely bother to write reviews, but this time, I genuinely enjoyed my stay and had to give it a thumbs-up! I hope to visit again.

It's also super convenient to the Old Street, and they offer a shuttle service. The only thing that could be improved is that the king room's shower doesn't have a place to put clean clothes. If you want to grab clean clothes after showering, you have to open the shower door and get them from the sink area outside, but there's no door for privacy there. It could be a bit awkward if someone suddenly walked by. This was a minor inconvenience, but everything else was great.

It's very close to Danxia Peak, offering incredible views for sunrise and sunset. The hotel also had performances, which showed a lot of effort and care. It was an amazing trip to Huangshan. Mount Huangshan is a mountain range of breathtaking beauty and rugged terrain. Maintaining a four-star hotel inside a 5A protected scenic area, where every supply — from food and bed linens to waste removal — must be carried up and down the mountain manually by workers, requires an extraordinary amount of effort and dedication. It is impossible to compare the operational cost and hard work behind a four-star hotel here with hotels in ordinary locations. Even so, this hotel provided an excellent experience in every aspect. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were always warm, welcoming, and enthusiastic. I would especially like to thank Ms. Xiao Ma at the front desk. She assisted me throughout my entire stay and helped resolve every issue I encountered, even though we had to communicate through WeChat translation. I truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend this hotel and sincerely hope to return one day with my family and friends. Huangshan is truly an unforgettable place.
