Booked this hotel for a business trip. The front desk staff were friendly and incredibly diligent. They offered turn-down service, and the breakfast in the morning had a great variety and was very plentiful. It's only one bus stop away from the airport and easy to find.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation. The facilities are complete, and the hotel is clean and tidy. The front desk and housekeeping staff are very diligent and responsible. They even provided a complimentary breakfast. I'm very satisfied!

Very good hotel, close to biggest industry which is just a short walk opposite. Area is now much better than before ...food just downstairs ..kfc and Chinese restaurant in shoplots on ground floor.

The room offers a great view of Gulangyu Island as soon as you open the curtains. It's also within walking distance to Zhongshan Road, and you can even walk back to the hotel from the ferry terminal after visiting Gulangyu. The housekeeping service was quite good; I accidentally pressed the 'Do Not Disturb' button when I left, and they called to ask if I still needed the room cleaned. The hotel breakfast is pretty extensive, but if you go around 10 AM, when they close at 10:30 AM, there's not much left. We booked two rooms; my parents' room had a dehumidifier, but the room I stayed in with my child didn't. Plus, our room had a strong smoky smell, which made me cough every time we came back. My parents' room didn't have this smell. We didn't change rooms for convenience since we wanted to stay together. I suspect the smell might have come from the air conditioning vents or something similar, and it was quite unpleasant. On a positive note, the restaurant on the third floor of the hotel serves delicious food, and I recommend it.

Traveling with a child, I opted for a newer hotel, and it was quite clean. I booked two rooms, and both were upgraded – getting an upgrade for an extended stay is a real plus, especially since the hotel proactively offered it. The rooms are spacious with a very practical design. There's a robot that delivers packages quickly, so no waiting around. Since I didn't book breakfast, I can't comment on the dining, but I might try it next time. All the staff were excellent. They spoke in a very calm and unhurried manner, which was nice, haha. There was a female staff member named Xiaomi, and a tall male staff member whose name I don't recall, who was usually at the front desk – both were very patient and good.

Traveling, I always worry about subpar accommodations, so I usually opt for upscale hotels. But this time, it was still a major disappointment. Sigh... The hotel itself is a decent size. However, the room photos and videos posted by the hotel on Ctrip must have been taken when it first opened, as they bear little resemblance to reality. I'm surprised that a hotel only a few years old is already so poorly maintained. The room air wasn't fresh, it was dim, and the natural light was poor. The balcony railing was too high, making the room feel very cramped. The in-room facilities were outdated, the sofa was visibly stained, and the shower door was far from clean. The landline phone didn't work, and there were no smart devices. The cleanliness of the hallway carpets was also appalling. The only two redeeming qualities were the service and the security, which were decent.

Highly recommend this hotel! 1. The best thing is its location: inside the ancient city, the North Gate leads to the food street and is next to Taigu Bridge; the South Gate connects to Taiwan Road, making it super convenient to reach all the scenic spots and food areas in the ancient city within minutes! You can slowly experience the ancient city by day and night: mornings are peaceful but full of local life, where you can chat with residents and enjoy local breakfast in nearby streets to start a vibrant day; at noon, it's too hot, so head back for a nap and scroll through your phone; at 4 PM, head out to find food or a spot for coffee and just relax; evenings are all about the hustle and bustle! 2. Hotel environment: It has a courtyard design, with flowers and plants everywhere, making it a quiet oasis in the middle of all the action. It offers the warmth of a B&B with the management of a hotel! 3. Room: We chose the 3rd-floor LOFT, which gave the kids their own space. It would have been even more perfect if the view from the balcony was a bit better! The public area on the 2nd floor is also great, you could sit there all afternoon with a coffee or tea. 4. The ancient city offers a variety of snacks, so you can spend a whole day just walking, stopping, eating, and exploring 😁 Everyone can cross中山公园 (Zhongshan Park) to 青年路 (Qingnian Road) for more food! I recommend 锦群饭店 (Jinqun Restaurant); for a Cantonese foodie like me, it's right up my alley – large portions with that 'wok hei' flavor! It has that street-side stall vibe! We ate there two days in a row. Although the rating isn't high, I've included photos, so you can judge for yourselves.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in Wengu Lane, Sanfang Qixiang. As soon as we checked in, we started exploring the narrow alleys. It was very quiet at night, and the breakfast was delicious, featuring local specialties like Rouyan (meat wontons) and fish balls. The hotel's decor is beautiful and very photogenic. My mother was extremely satisfied with this hotel stay.

This classic hotel lives up to its reputation! The location is superb, directly facing the Gulangyu seascape, and just steps away from Zhongshan Road, making getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a stylish retro Nanyang feel, and all the facilities are complete and thoughtful. The breakfast at the sea-view restaurant is authentic and delicious, offering everything from satay noodles to various Southern Fujian snacks. What's truly unique is that there are two menus available via QR code for ordering. The service is warm and attentive, with quick responses. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle, and the overall experience is top-notch. Staying here in Xiamen is absolutely worth it!
