Our family trip to Chaoshan included a stopover in Zhangzhou Old Town on the way back, and choosing to stay at the Xiyue Minnan Courtyard Hotel within the old town was an absolutely brilliant decision. We had an immersive experience of the red-brick Minnan courtyard style. The entire hotel was filled with thoughtful details and craftsmanship everywhere. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony sipping tea, practicing a couple of sets of Baduanjin on the Nanyang-style terrace in the morning, and taking a brisk walk around the old town after dinner in the evening. It was truly serene. Although there isn't a private free parking lot, parking was still extremely convenient with a shuttle service. The hotel's staff (the 'xiaogēgē' and 'xiǎojiějie' – brothers and sisters) even vied to help us with our luggage and shared recommendations for food and sightseeing routes. They made us feel right at home while also giving us ample private space and time. Right outside the hotel is a food street, and the鷺嫂灌蛋 (Lù Sǎo Guàn Dàn) across the street, as well as the 'runbing' (spring rolls), 'sanjiaoguo' (triangle粿), and 'lúmiàn' (braised noodles) nearby, were all delicious. If we ever get the chance to visit Zhangzhou again, we'll definitely book this hotel.

Hotel was new, clean and service was good. The room is good-sized, and considered large for single occupancy. Check-in and out were quite seamless. There are not many restaurants around the hotel, so one may need to travel out to dine, or choose one of those around there. Highly Recommended!

Excellent location right at Zhongshan Pedestrian Street and 5 mins walk to Zhenhai Metro station. Room is specious and breakfast spread is quite good considering some hot food menu items were changed daily. The complimentary in house laundry was very useful.

I had a great stay in this property, got the room for a very affordable price, the location is very accessible to all, there is a mall, coffee shop, restaurant and convenience store downstairs and also the room had a nice view. The host is very accommodating, they have a cleaning service everyday and most importantly for me is the cleanliness of the room, the room is well maintained that's why i felt comfortable on my entire stay. The hotel's location is excellent, right near Zhongshan Road, with plenty of snacks and shopping malls around. Transportation is convenient, accessible by both metro and taxi. The staff, especially the male attendants, were very attentive, helping with luggage and opening car doors. The hotel's food is also great; breakfast offers a good variety, including many classic Xiamen delicacies. The only minor drawback is that you have to go down to the delivery locker yourself to pick up food orders. From the room, you can see Gulangyu Island, and Heping Wharf is right downstairs, making it very convenient and picturesque. Do note that the latest check-out time is 12 PM, in case that's an issue for you.

Smooth check-in as always. Indian guy in the staff is very kind and always greets with a smile. Pleasant stay as always!!

The hotel is quite new and generally clean, though some corners had noticeable dust. Since my child was asleep, I dried my hair in the wardrobe, and the hairdryer blew out a lot of dust when turned on 😅. But overall, I felt comfortable bringing my child here. The hotel staff were all very nice, always greeting us proactively and patient with the kids. The breakfast selection was fairly rich, but nothing particularly amazing, a bit standard. Going around 8 AM meant it wasn't crowded, which was a good experience. Finally, if you're looking for a good view, choose carefully, as the surrounding area is full of demolished buildings.

Facilities: This is a 10-year-old brand, and the facilities and equipment are very well maintained. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy. The hotel has its own laundry room, so we felt very comfortable using the bedding and towels. Environment: The hotel's outdoor garden in winter is bathed in sunshine, making it very pleasant for an afternoon tea. Service: The staff were warm and helpful. Special thanks to Bill for upgrading us to a garden view room. The hotel staff's attitude was excellent. This is definitely one of the top hotel choices in Fuzhou. We were lucky enough to catch the hotel's Christmas tree lighting ceremony during our stay, which added greatly to the festive atmosphere.

Conveniently located in the city. Going to scenic places using taxi is fast and easy. The hotel has many facilities; swimming pool & gym for working out. Lots of restaurants nearby if you don't want to travel far.

Booked this hotel for a get-together with friends and it turned out to be fantastic! They even had a shuttle car to pick us up at the intersection. The staff at the hotel were super enthusiastic, giving us great recommendations for food and activities. The hotel is located right in the ancient town, so there are tons of dining options nearby. We booked a balcony room, and it was spacious enough with a really lovely, big balcony. The only minor drawback was the absence of hand soap at the sink in the room.
