The best way to get to the airport from Kowloon or Hong Kong stations. Buy the ticket ahead online and use the QR code, make sure your brightness is up to max when scanning at the gates. Plenty of luggage racks on the train, good WiFi and charge ports!

For the return we also take the boat ride, but due to typhoon tail the return a little rough, a lot of passengers vomit, luckily we took sea sick pill one hour before the departure so we are ok. 60 mins boat ride is just right for Penghu trip, we are happy about it.

While the wind and waves are a bit rough on rainy days, the navigation is still relatively stable and the ships dock on time. However, using the "Mini Three Links" (direct trade, postal, and transportation links) is a bit of a hassle! Direct flights are still recommended! But for last-minute travel, this is the only option!

This is my first visit to Hong Kong Airport Terminal 2 this year, and I'm noting down the timeline for my future planning. 16:21-16:44 Airport Express (Kowloon-Airport) - 23 minutes; 16:48-17:04 Security check (no check-in, electronic boarding pass) - 16 minutes; 17:04-17:30 Take the driverless train to the boarding gate (gate 270 is at the very back) - 26 minutes. (Time calculations based on photos are for reference only.)
