Reviews: Beijing: Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace One Day Bus Tour with Options
Guest User2026-04-24
We chose this tour because we could visit both the Summer Palace and the Great Wall of China. The program had originally stated the wall would be visited first, followed by the palace, but on the day of the tour, they switched the tours to avoid the crowds. We ended up seeing the Summer Palace early in the morning. There weren't many people at first, but by the time we were leaving, the crowds had thickened. Then we went to the wall. First, we had lunch (we packed it with us)—I highly recommend it; the delicious, fresh food was a welcome relief before the long climb. Then we headed up the wall—keep in mind that it's incredibly crowded at the beginning, but the further you go, the less crowded it gets. At the very top, near the 23rd tower, there was practically no one at all—but I recommend making it to the end; it's worth it. As for the guide, his English was excellent, and everything was clear. Please note that the ascent and descent from the eastern part of the wall costs 140 yuan, and the palace may offer a boat ride for 100 yuan.

Excellent experience. All the communication was very clear from reservation to the end of the tour. The driver and van were excellent as well. But the highlight of the tour was our guide Phoenix, she did an amazing job giving recommendations, answering all our questions and making a really memorable experience. Thanks for everything!

Reviews: Guilin Li River 3/4‑Star Cruise to Yangshuo with Car Pickup | Classic Guilin Landscape
Guest User2025-10-13
It was both relaxing and amazing. Amazed with the beautiful scenery as we cruise along the Li River. They have an app that was really helpful for non-Chinese speaker like me. There is a QR code to scan which has English translation of the description and historical background of the important spots/landmarks that you’ll see during the trip. The car service didn’t work for us coz we were not within their area of pick- up. The buffet though was the only downside, they run out of viands most especially the meat. Their staff members were accommodating. It’s definitely a must try when in Guilin!
