The room was fantastic! Our triple room on the 17th floor offered stunning mountain and water views when opening the window, creating a very tranquil setting. The rooftop boasts both open-air and indoor hot springs ♨️, available for unlimited free use with your room key card. The water temperature was perfect, and soaking in the springs, sipping tea, and watching the sunset was pure bliss! The buffet breakfast was quite generous. The room was notably spacious, especially for Japan. Complimentary amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, and cotton pads are available for pick-up at the front desk. Rooms receive a light daily service (replacing amenities, emptying trash, but not changing linens), with a full cleaning every two days. Complimentary bottled water is provided, and the bathroom includes a bathtub 🛁. The front desk staff provided excellent, warm, and attentive service – Japanese hospitality is truly outstanding 👍.

After arriving at Beppu Station, the hotel's shuttle bus, which I had booked in advance, arrived punctually at 2:30 PM, which was very convenient. The hotel's location is excellent. This time, I stayed in the 'Sora' room at Jinnai-en, which felt a bit newer. The room was spacious. However, the Teppanyaki dinner was very mediocre, and breakfast was also just okay. While the view was great, I found the food itself to be quite disappointing. Overall, it was decent, but the service was also just average.

Excellent, absolutely fantastic! The room is quite spacious, with a separate bedroom and other areas, plus a small sofa. The 14th floor has a large public bath, and the 15th floor boasts a rooftop pool with views of both mountains and the sea! (Remember to bring your swimsuit!) The breakfast is also amazing, with tempura, seafood bowls, Oita kamameshi, unlimited spicy mentaiko, and even sparkling wine. The front desk staff can speak Chinese, English, and Japanese, and they offer luggage storage. The lobby has a very stylish design. Plus, there are many super affordable public bathhouses nearby.

This guesthouse has a story to tell in every corner, retaining some of its original Japanese style. The environment is quiet and clean. The evening hot spring bath is by reservation for one hour per group, allowing couples to enjoy a private bath together. A thorough introduction is provided before check-in. The owner is friendly and beautiful 🥰. Breakfast is a traditional breakfast (the rice is superb). I highly recommend allowing time to fully experience and appreciate every detail. Although the location is a bit far from the station (a 15-minute walk), I recommend taking a taxi from the station to the guesthouse. There's a luggage delivery service to the station upon check-out, so you don't need to rush to pick it up. You can pick up your luggage when you catch the train (luggage storage costs about 600-800 yen). You can easily stroll around Yufuin, enjoying the clean air and streets. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the noticeable dampness of the tatami mats, probably because it's near a mountain and quite humid. Also, being a guesthouse, they don't offer any services after 9 PM. We arrived very late and didn't have time to buy anything before checking in. There are no convenience stores nearby, and the guesthouse doesn't have vending machines selling food. But as long as you don't arrive right on time like we did, you won't have this problem. 🙂

It was a really friendly and comfortable accommodation The toilet was prepared for public use in the corridor, but there weren't a few rooms at first, so the toilet line never overlapped. The owner was really kind and nice I can speak Japanese, so I talked a lot, but I want to communicate with foreign guests, but I'm sorry that I don't speak English or Korean well. I would definitely like to visit again next time I visit Hita.

The environment is absolutely stunning, and the service is incredibly professional! Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious! Our room even had a hot spring bath ♨️ and an amazing sea view! **Cleanliness:** Super clean! **Facilities:** They have both a washing machine and a dryer, which is really convenient and well-equipped.

Good location being right across the bus and train station. The staff are nice and accommodating. Went there earlier than check in time but I was able to leave my luggage. I got to visit the Beppu Jigokus while I was out! During check in, i was assisted by the front desk and that made the process a lot quicker. All front desk staff I spoke to spoke English! Check out was done easily by giving the card back to front desk and confirming room number and number of people. Didn’t state a preference so i got a smoking room. When i entered there was a lingering smoke smell but it was a quick fix with the air purifier available. Amenities are available by the 2 floor elevator where the reception is. Breakfast is 6:30to 9:30 just present card key to restaurant staff. They were also very nice. Overall, would book again for the next Beppu stay. I might even get to try the onsen next time.

The hotel is located on a mountain, offering stunning views. However, it would be quite inconvenient if you don't have a car. The room has its own hot spring bath and a balcony, providing a quiet and comfortable environment.

Staying at a hot spring ryokan in Yufuin with dinner and breakfast included is so convenient and hassle-free. Jukaso Hotel in Yufuin was a great choice. The traditional Japanese garden setting creates a wonderful ambiance. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk directly from Yufuin Station, so even with luggage, it's no trouble at all. I booked a tatami Japanese-style room. It was spacious and clean with excellent natural light. Opening the window revealed mountain views and the greenery of the garden, making it very peaceful and restorative. The amenities were complete, and the double sinks in the bathroom were a thoughtful touch. The hot springs include both indoor and open-air baths. The water quality was pleasant and clean, and it was quiet with few people in the evening. Soaking in the onsen completely relaxed me.
