Our stay this time was quite a pleasant surprise. Tina, one of the staff members, was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room, which made our stay very comfortable. The parent-child themed decorations require an advance booking, and they provide a full set of children's toiletries, which is a great touch! The breakfast was decent, with some local Shenyang specialties. The swimming pool water temperature was good, and the attendant there was very warm and friendly.

Facilities: Well-equipped, and the service hotline was answered promptly.
Hygiene: Excellent environment, with a wardrobe and various complimentary amenities.
Ambiance: It wasn't yet the season for air conditioning, and as it's a fully enclosed hotel, the room temperature was a bit high.
Service: Attentive, meticulous, and patient. This included room service, the hotel front desk, restaurant service, hosts, and guest relations like Ellie, all demonstrating the high standards of a five-star hotel.
Notes: A small suggestion – the scent at the hotel entrance was a bit too strong. It triggered my rhinitis; the fragrance was indeed a bit overpowering.
Every year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service.
This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself.
If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed.
While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite.
Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out.
I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. See you again, Ascott, in the summer!
The hotel boasts a fantastic location, with Wanda Plaza, Panpan Road, and Tonghuimen Market all within easy walking distance. It would be helpful if booking platforms could more clearly distinguish between the VIP Building and the Executive Building. The hotel's breakfast truly deserves praise – there was a wide selection, and everything was delicious. However, the broth for the 'Suancai Cuan Bairou' (sour cabbage and sliced pork soup) and the gravy for the 'Doufunao' (tofu pudding) were a little on the salty side.

I had an extended stay at the Grand Hyatt Shenyang during the May Day holiday, and my experience was excellent throughout. A special thank you to Dino for their meticulous and patient service, as well as their prompt responses. Every request was handled efficiently and properly. Even with the busy holiday crowd, they maintained professionalism and a gentle demeanor, skillfully arranging my check-in and itinerary details, proactively resolving various issues, and providing thoughtful and prompt service. The hotel's overall environment was comfortable, and the service was consistently good, making my entire stay worry-free and relaxing. It's truly an ideal choice for a long holiday stay.

When we checked in, the front desk specifically told us that the breakfast area downstairs would be very crowded during the May Day holiday, and there would be long queues during peak dining hours. They suggested we upgrade to the executive floor for a small fee, which would allow us to have breakfast upstairs and enjoy exclusive executive lounge privileges.
We decided to try it out and upgraded, and it was absolutely worth it! The VIP floor truly lives up to its VIP status; it's a completely different experience.
Firstly, the dining environment upstairs is excellent – quiet and comfortable, with no need to jostle for space or queue. Most importantly, the staff ladies on the executive floor are incredibly gentle and attentive, providing super thoughtful service. They go above and beyond to fulfill any request, truly exceptional.
When I booked the hotel, I spent a long time searching online, and this was one of the highest-rated hotels in Dalian. Having stayed here myself, I now understand that their excellent service is genuinely felt in every interaction.
Overall, the stay was very genuine and incredibly comfortable. I sincerely thank every hotel staff member for their hard work. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Dalian!

I chose this room at the Xiyue International Hotel during my business trip to Tieling, and overall, I had a very good experience. Here are my honest impressions:
The room has a very common minimalist modern style, with wood paneling and light colors, making it clean, refreshing, and not at all cramped. The space was much larger than I expected; there was plenty of room for the bed, sofa, and small tea table without feeling crowded. The bedding felt high-quality, and I didn't experience any back pain after a night's sleep, which is quite important for business travelers.
The bathroom is semi-open, equipped with double sinks, a large bathtub, and a smart toilet. The facilities are quite new, and the room was very clean. Taking a bath in the evening was quite relaxing. The room also provided complimentary bottled water, tea bags, and coffee, making it convenient to make your own tea. The bathrobes were also very soft.
Overall, the facilities, cleanliness, and space were all excellent, making for a very worry-free stay. There were no unpleasant issues, and I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Tieling for business.

The free extra bed for children in the Horizon Club was a huge plus; the room was spacious enough that it didn't feel cramped even with the added bed. However, during the May Day holiday, the Horizon Club canceled its à la carte breakfast, which felt a bit disingenuous. I specifically booked the Horizon Club for that, thinking the main restaurant would be crowded during the holiday, and I could enjoy a nice, quiet breakfast in the executive lounge. But without the à la carte option, the small buffet spread at the self-service counter felt incredibly basic. After grabbing some bread with my child, I ended up going down to the main restaurant to queue.
Overall, the Horizon Club is still worth it. It seems like it might have been recently renovated? The room facilities felt quite new, not old as some online reviews suggested. It also includes a simple dinner, which is great for seniors or children with sensitive stomachs. The late check-out was also very useful.
Speaking of the Shangri-La itself, the hotel's location is excellent for reaching many highly-rated restaurants on Dazhong Dianping, most within walking distance (under 1 km). However, there aren't many eateries right downstairs within 100 meters. If you're up for it, you can walk to Donggang. The hotel pool is also very nice and looked clean. The women's changing room even has two hot tubs, and I confirmed with a cleaning lady (when I happened to catch them changing the water at closing time) that these are refilled daily. The main restaurant's breakfast is quite rich, but it gets extremely crowded, and the seating is very cramped. During the May Day holiday, there was a queue, but staff were on hand to guide guests, so the order was maintained. The overall service level at the hotel is good, and the holiday surcharge wasn't too outrageous. Other hotels nearby, like 'Mou Duo Mou Ji,' were well over a thousand, so the old five-star still offers better value.

Liaoning is the second hometown of our family of three. This time the child traveled by car from south to north during the winter vacation. After passing through Xingcheng, he found another treasure hotel: a brand new Hilton, the atmosphere of the suite is decorated, the large balcony, plus the sea view. Unfortunately, the nearby turf is still finishing the landscape. The scenery is slightly affected. The food is also good. I can’t take a picture of the room in a hurry, but I will definitely visit again during the summer vacation. Good hotel is recommended.

Hhongyanliu56Participated in the Dalian Marathon. This was my second time visiting Dalian, and just like my previous trip during the 2019 Qingming holiday, I stayed at the InterContinental. The location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside. I usually head towards Zhongshan Square Station, but on checkout day, the doorman, the guy with the long hair in a ponytail, recommended Friendly Square Station and even walked me to the intersection. I really appreciated that! The hotel breakfast was fantastic and had a great variety, including Dalian specialties like sea cucumber porridge with rice and kidney bean clam noodles, plus roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), wraps, and fried dough sticks. I got to try them all! Housekeeping was very prompt; every day I'd leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon to a clean room. The bathroom was spacious and well-lit. The only minor downside was that the room didn't have a main overhead light, making it a bit dim.

GGuest UserI stayed in Dalian for 3 nights. The first night was in Dalian city, and the second and third nights were in Jinshitan. I stayed at 3 different hotels, and I honestly think the Hard Rock Hotel deserves a great review. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and very meticulous, and check-in was exceptionally fast. Then, a staff member named 'Yi Yang Qian Xi' (a playful reference to a celebrity, likely implying excellent service) helped carry my luggage to the room, which I found very thoughtful and considerate. Both the hotel's hardware and software aspects left me very satisfied! The key thing is, during the May Day holiday, among hotels in the average price range of 800-1000, the Hard Rock Hotel truly stands out in all aspects. Whether it's the location, the hotel facilities, or the staff's service attitude and professionalism, everything was excellent. This is my genuine review, not a insincere one written to get discounts or gifts, but a true reflection of my stay!

FFengkuangdejiqimiaoThe room facilities are quite good, and there's a smart toilet. However, the outlets on both sides of the bed in the suite bedroom are very loose. Even after having engineering come to fix them once, chargers still sometimes fall out when plugged in. If the air conditioning is on high fan speed, it makes a rattling noise, which is a bit disruptive to sleep, especially at night. During the off-season, the lounge is located in the lobby bar. Afternoon tea is set menu style and the quality is just okay. The evening service is also in the lobby bar, but one evening when I went, it was already roped off with no staff around. I had to call the front desk to get someone to come. I'm not sure if the lobby bar staff are aware that the executive lounge benefits have moved there, it's confusing. Dinner is also a set menu, with the menu changing and offering both noodles and rice – generally simple meals.

GGuest UserThanks to Mr. Daniel Wang, the manager of the Front Office Department. I stayed at the hotel for quite a few days. He was kind and friendly and carefully arranged a comfortable room for me, making me feel right at home.
During Christmas, he recommended the buffet dinner in the hotel to me, and it was really excellent. Moreover, he helped arrange transportation vehicles for me, which saved me a lot of trouble. He communicated with me smoothly and provided a lot of help.
The hotel service was outstanding, enabling me to feel the considerate service even in a foreign country. I will choose this hotel again next time. Once again, thank you to all the service staff for bringing more wonderful experiences to the guests.

Hhrk0410I visited with my children for a hot spring trip. It was very cold outside, but as soon as we entered the hotel lobby, it felt incredibly warm.
Ms. LIA was truly wonderful. She arranged a comfortable, child-friendly room for us and promptly delivered all the necessities we requested.
Since it was our first time here and we weren't familiar with the area, she also recommended some fantastic restaurants near Gastein, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
The hot springs were so relaxing and warming, and the breakfast was excellent too.
This is definitely a place I'd love to visit again. Thank you so much!

Very Good
OofficeHow should I put it? This hotel should be of a relatively high grade in Yingkou. The location is also good, right by the Daliao River.
The hotel itself is fine, and the service is also good, especially the front desk and catering services.
There is just one problem, which is not considered an opinion, but a suggestion:
The facade of this hotel is a glass curtain wall, which results in a small window in each room. The duvet arranged by the hotel did not allow me to sleep well on the first night. I couldn't stand the heat when I covered myself with the quilt, and it was cold when I didn't cover myself with it. I just dealt with the hot and cold all night.
The next morning, I asked the floor attendant for a thin quilt. The attendant was good and delivered it to the room quickly, but the thin quilt of the hotel was also a down quilt, which was almost not much thinner.
The next afternoon, I went to the front desk and asked the attendant if I could find a summer quilt. The front desk contacted the floor attendant, who said that this was the quilt and told me that it was the same quilt in summer.
I had no choice but to insist on one more night. I stayed for two nights in total and did not sleep well for two nights.
But I still have to thank the hotel for letting us know that it would be very convenient to bring a summer quilt in the car when we go out in the future. It may not be used, but what if it is.
