The hotel is pretty good, clean and tidy. It's across from a park, but the location is a bit out of the way, and the bed was too small. The breakfast was plentiful, and dinner was delicious. The front desk staff were professional, and you can always count on a big brand. 😊

Although I do not understand Dutch, their tone, gestures, and overall behaviour were intimidating, disrespectful, and deeply humiliating. No guest should ever be treated in such a degrading way. The second issue concerns my food delivery. I had ordered food late at night, and it was left at the reception. When I went to collect it a few hours later, I was informed that the food had been thrown away. I was never contacted, no attempt was made to inform me that my order had arrived, and no explanation was provided as to why my personal property had been discarded. This is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a shocking lack of respect for guests and their belongings. The combination of these incidents reflects an alarming lack of professionalism, respect for guest privacy, and basic customer service standards. I expect the following: 1. A formal investigation into the conduct of the staff involved. 2. A written explanation as to why my room was entered against my explicit instructions. 3. Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam actually has a whole honeycomb for breakfast! Their breakfast is truly amazing – a honeycomb, grapefruit, freshly made 'jianbing guozi' (a savory Chinese crepe), and the best omelets I've ever had. Definitely lives up to its reputation as a classic German hotel. Oh, and out of the four pillows, one is lavender-filled. It felt lumpy at first, and I thought it was a buckwheat pillow. I slept wonderfully. There were many Chinese and German guests, and a lot of flight attendants were also having breakfast there. There's a forest near the hotel, perfect for morning runs. However, the facilities are a bit old, and the toiletries feel like those in a budget hotel, all 2-in-1. This hotel is about 8 minutes from the airport. There is a shuttle bus service from the airport to the hotel for free, but from the hotel to the airport it costs 5 Euros. A deposit of 50 Euros needs to be paid during check-in. They DO NOT take cash. Only payments with cards are allowed. The hotel is ok for a night if you need to take an early flight. That's it. For the shuttle bus, there is a bus station right outside the airport. Follow the signs ”Hotel Transfer” or ”Hotel Shuttle Bus”. Not difficult to find.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is within walking distance of most tourist attractions in the city center. The hotel staff are very polite and the room is cleaned every day. It is a hotel that I highly recommend. I will definitely stay here next time👍

Nice clean hotel, location is near the train station, short walk but not easy with luggage as the path passes a dyke so stairs up and down. Note the town is about 40 minutes walk away. Airport is one train stop but shuttle bus is available, free from airport return is €5 Rooms are large and clean, nice shower. Large TV, Wife kettle tea and coffee. Restaurant and vending machine is available. Good value for money

The hotel has a great location, just a short walk from Amsterdam Central Station, making it very convenient for sightseeing and transportation. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the lighting in the room was quite dim. One thing that could be improved is the bathroom lighting. It works with a motion sensor, so if you stay still for a while (for example, during a shower), the lights switch off automatically. It was inconvenient to have the bathroom suddenly become dark while showering. Overall, it's a good hotel with an excellent location, but improving the room and bathroom lighting would make the stay even better.

Really enjoyed my stay at Anantara Amsterdam. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. The breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay, with plenty of options and great quality. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and every time I walked into the hotel I was greeted with a smile, which made me feel very welcome. Overall, everything was well organized and the service was excellent. Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Amsterdam, and I would happily stay here again.

We arrived and were told we could check in at 2 PM. We went into town, and when we returned around 3:30 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned. Luckily, we received two complimentary drinks as compensation. Once in the room, we found the curtain was broken, leaving a gap where light streamed in. The TV by the bathtub wasn't working, and the shower kept fluctuating between hot and cold. We reported these issues in the late afternoon, and someone was supposedly coming to fix them. We went out again and returned after a couple of hours, only to find the curtain still broken. We went back to reception, but the maintenance team had already left. Since we didn't want to be woken up by light, a staff member eventually went to try and fix it themselves, but unfortunately, they couldn't. Despite these unpleasant circumstances, I would still recommend the hotel. It's a nice hotel, but the staff aren't always as efficient as they could be.

The room is great, the environment is very good, and the service is also great! ! It is worth staying here! ! The swimming pool and sauna are great! ! The shampoo, shower gel and body lotion are all from Guerlain, and the hair dryer is also from Dyson! ! It's great! !
