Service: The hotel staff all had professional smiles; some were genuine, while others felt more perfunctory, which guests could clearly notice.
Environment: The highest hot spring pool hadn't been cleaned; there was moss growing on the bottom, making it slippery, which was a concern since we were with an elderly person.
Facilities: Xiamen is still quite hot in December, so it's a bit hard to understand why the rooms don't uniformly provide air conditioning.
Hygiene: At the buffet, I picked up a plate that had obvious dried-on food residue stuck to the bottom.
Perhaps because it was a rare trip with an elderly person, my expectations were higher, but overall, it wasn't as good as my last experience here.
I'd like to commend the staff member in the hot spring changing area at 3:30 PM on the 6th. As soon as I entered, they asked for my number tag and guided me, thoughtfully brought a waterproof phone pouch, and showed me the way to the hot spring area. Also, the security guard in the takeout area near the entrance at 7:50 AM on the 7th proactively helped hold the cabinet door when I had a lot of items to pick up. And the parking attendant or security uncle at the entrance at 1:00 PM on the 7th, when we were checking out, saw the elderly person walking and came over to help guide them, reminding them about the small steps. I only managed to get a photo of the hot spring staff's nametag, but I've provided the times for the other two staff members. I hope the hotel can convey my thanks to them. đĽš

I saw a promotion for this hotel on Xiaohongshu and thought it looked great, so I immediately booked a room, arriving with high expectations. After a long journey, the staff told us there was construction outside our room and asked if we wanted an upgrade, saying we could see the room first before deciding. It was also a dark, cold, and rainy day. Honestly, if a room is going to negatively impact the guest experience, especially on a weekday when the hotel isn't fully booked, the hotel should proactively switch the room for the guest. This is the only hotel I've ever encountered where, when the room type isn't ideal, guests are expected to pay extra to upgrade. The hotel shouldn't pass on the cost of being a 'victim' (due to construction) to its guests. Regarding the environment, when I opened the curtains, I could indeed see villas being built directly opposite, with construction workers visibly moving around. The road outside the hotel was also under repair. The overall experience was quite poor. As for the facilities, although the hairdryer was a Dyson, it was missing its attachment, making it difficult to style my hair. The hinge on the bathroom glass door was broken, causing it to make a super loud noise when opening and closing, and I even thought it was completely broken and couldn't be opened or closed properly. The same applied to the walls. Overall, the service felt superficial. Constantly asking 'how was your stay?' when they knew there was construction going on doesn't automatically equate to good service.

The hotel's location is excellent! The front desk service was warm and attentive, with friendly smiles. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, bright, and quiet, and they even gave us a small gift đ. Breakfast was incredibly rich, with many Fuzhou specialty snacks and delicacies: peanut soup, Laohua, fish balls with meat filling, Rouyan (swallow dumplings), various fruits đ, desserts, and more â it was so abundant and delicious. We could take a âlittle white carâ from the hotel entrance to various attractions in the city for only two yuan, which was incredibly convenient. We were thoroughly satisfied! Great environment, excellent service, and high value for money. It was a wonderful stay, and we'll definitely come back to this hotel next time.

We booked a family suite which was very spacious and the bedding was super comfortable. The service was excellent. It's an older, established hotel, so it's not the newest, but the service truly made our stay comfortable. The breakfast was bountiful; I was in a rush and didn't have time to finish my noodles, and the staff even kindly brought them to our room, which was a lovely gesture. The hotel also decorated our room for our wedding anniversary and gave us a cakeâthank you, five stars! And the service at the Fudi Restaurant was also great, and the food was delicious. All in all, this stay was very pleasant. Thanks to InterContinental for their service.
This isn't my first stay here; whether for business or personal trips to Xiamen, I almost always choose the Kempinski.
The location is convenient, both within the city and for getting around. What I find best is how incredibly smooth the check-in process is at the front desk â there's practically never any waiting. For both travel and business trips, a seamless check-in right after arriving at the airport is the perfect start to a great experience.
Beyond the silky-smooth check-in, let's talk about the stay itself. The hotel offers both firm and soft beds, catering to more guests, which I appreciate. The pool is fantastic; if you want to get a proper swim in, it fully delivers. The breakfast, facilities, and everything else truly meet the hotel's positioning. I believe everyone has certain expectations for different hotel standards when booking, so I won't belabor the point (the same goes for breakfast). Essentially, anything you'd expect, they have, and it's all complete.
Finally, a word about the staff: friendly, appropriate, and prompt.
I think these points alone are reason enough to choose this place. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, the view from the window is also satisfying! âď¸

A truly excellent experience! The five-star service was absolutely impeccable. Just a note: swim caps are required at the pool. It would be great if disposable ones could be provided. Upon check-out, they even gave my child an adorable 'Zhuangyuan' (top scholar) themed water cup â it truly lives up to its reputation as the 'Hometown of Zhuangyuan'!

Loved it, loved it! The hotel is located right by the Houcuo bus stop. It maintains the signature InterContinental style with a luxurious and grand lobby. The concierge was prompt in opening doors and handling luggage, and the check-in staff on the first floor were very warm and professional. We booked a room with a view, and the scenery outside our window was absolutely stunning. The hotel's attention to detail in service was also excellent; the bedding was clean and comfortable. However, compared to other InterContinental hotels, the breakfast spread had fewer options. Overall, it was still a great experience.

Transportation: Very convenient to get around, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, right downstairs. Dining: The breakfast is extensive, featuring local Fujian specialties like fish balls and 'bian rou' (wonton-like dumplings), which were delicious. Hygiene: Very clean, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation, making for an excellent experience. Service: The service truly deserves full marks. The front desk staff always greeted us with a smile during check-in, and when we checked out, they thoughtfully gave our child a small toy, knowing we had a little one with us! Our child was thrilled and said they want to come back next time!

It's quite good. The hotel is very new. We arrived at night. The on-duty Xiaoling provided warm service. We upgraded the room type and delayed check-out until 2 o'clock. Parking is free during the stay. It is next to Wanda Plaza and convenient for eating. There are welcome fruits when you check in (but the freshness is average). There is a minibar and a capsule coffee machine in the room. The tea bags are TWG, and the quality is OK. The toiletries are also very good and smell good. There are tpyeC sockets and USB sockets, which are very convenient. Contact the front desk to provide children's toothbrushes and drinking water, and the response is timely. There is a swimming pool and gym on the sixth floor. The water temperature of the swimming pool is 28 or 29 degrees, which is suitable and not too cold. There is also a small sauna room, which is recommended.

GGuest UserThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (ĺĺ°ĺ°ć). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (éčš). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (ĺĺ°ĺ°ć). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if thereâs anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (éčš) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (ĺĺ°ĺ°ć) and Chen Hong (輿é¤ĺ éčš) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.
Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!

AAprilblossomsGreat hotel with exceptional services.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. During our stay, we received remarkable services from the hotel staff beginning with the young Bellboy who greeted us on the day we arrived and thereafter. The front desk staff are friendly and professional; check-in was quick and easy, and especially Charis, who had patiently answered many questions that we had for Xiamen. We appreciated Lia, who helped us to get taxi by using her own phone with the local DiDi program and makes sure the taxi driver knows our destination. We also appreciated Alice from the dining room, who to cut and packed the fruits we brought from the market on the day we checked out. Last but not least was cleaned daily. We felt great when we saw a note from the housekeeper and found towels folded đ on our bed one day and a swan on the next day.
MM494093****The location is excellent. The concierge was proactive in helping with our luggage as soon as we got out of the car. Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and the scent in the lobby was delightful. The service center on the phone gave us a lot of great recommendations for food and travel tips. Overall, it was a fantastic trip to Xiamen. I'll definitely choose Pullman Xiamen Powerlong again next year. Thumbs up!
2202032****A perfect trip to Wuyi Mountain, and choosing Wuyi Villa was a wise decision. This is an older, well-established state guesthouse, offering not only beautiful surroundings but also outstanding service. From the moment we checked in, the staff welcomed us, helped with our luggage, and introduced the hotel facilities. Later, while exploring the hotel's wooded areas, a staff member proactively offered to tell us more about the area. We felt genuinely touched and welcomed. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel is just a stone's throw from the Wuyi Palace transfer point. The breakfast was also excellent and varied. Next time I visit Wuyi Mountain, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

This is my first time staying at a hotel where I returned to my room to find a birthday cake and a letter from the hotel. I've already taken the letter home with me. For all my future travels, Pan Pacific will be my first choice!

JJacq Jacq NeoTop notch service by Langhamâs Place Guest relation officer , Ms Pearl. We were warmly greeted by her once we checked in and she went the extra mile to prepare the birthday celebration for my spouse. Upon asking, she recommended several places to dine around the hotel vicinity. When I had a parcel delivered to me, she made sure that I received it too. Iâve met many diligent GROs and concierge in the hotel industry , but none as thoughtful as her.
The room is clean and spacious, and the pool is decent. The steam room and sauna looks interesting but I did not try. The breakfast is a wide spread but itâs pretty much the same thing daily.
The hotel is next to a mall with many eateries nearby.
