This hotel definitely deserves a great review! The scenery is beautiful, parking is convenient, and it's not far from the old town. It offers excellent value for money. It has all the amenities you'd expect from a five-star hotel.
**Facilities:** Air conditioning, electric curtains, and a coffee machine are all available. The minibar included three drinks and three candies. Wi-Fi is provided, but it's very slow; you're better off using your mobile data. The decor is new and grand, though there was still a slight scent when we checked in.
**Hygiene:** Excellent.
**Environment:** Downstairs, there's a park and a Wanda Plaza, which is very convenient.
**Service:** Excellent.
Bringing my family for a vacation in Xiamen, our stay here was luxurious yet incredibly cozy! ✨
• **Prime Location:** Situated in a bustling part of Xiamen, getting around was super easy. Surrounded by shopping areas and attractions, it was convenient to reach popular spots like Gulangyu Island and Xiamen University, while also meeting our family's daily shopping and dining needs.
• **Impeccable Cleanliness:** Both our room and the public areas were spotless. The high-quality bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom facilities were clean and exquisite. The attention to detail really showcased German precision, making both the elderly and children feel completely at ease.
• **Exceptional Service:** From the doorman's welcome to room service, the care was attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. The staff proactively looked after our family's needs, such as providing children's amenities and arranging luggage handling. We truly felt at home.
• **Excellent Facilities:** The hotel boasts a luxurious pool, a fitness center, and quality restaurants. Some rooms even offer city views. It perfectly catered to both adults looking for relaxation and children wanting to play, making it ideal for a family vacation.
Overall, it's a benchmark for high-end hotels in Xiamen. If you're traveling with family and seeking quality and comfort, I highly recommend it! 👍
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to West Street, the Old City, and Zhongshan Road. The doorman proactively helped with our luggage, and the front desk staff processed check-in quickly. There's a free snack and fruit bar on the floor, and complimentary bottled water in the room. The room itself is quite spacious, and the shower water pressure is good. Room service was also great! My only complaint is that the pillows weren't comfortable. After checking out, a kind staff member helped me with my luggage, which I really appreciated. Thumbs up! The breakfast was delicious, offering most local specialties. I particularly enjoyed the fish porridge. On the first morning, the breakfast staff were incredibly helpful; seeing we were from out of town, they enthusiastically introduced us to local breakfast dishes. On the second morning, however, when I ordered two portions of satay noodles, the attitude was poor. I saw him prepare two servings, but when it was ready, he only gave me one. Another guest then asked if their order was ready, and he gave my second portion to them, probably because he'd forgotten their order. When I told him I'd ordered two, he rudely told me he was just making it. This was a slightly overweight male chef, about 30 years old. I was very upset, but I decided not to let it ruin my morning. Overall, aside from this particular chef, everything else was good, and I'd recommend staying here!
The hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of Bailuzhou Park and Yuandang Lake, offering a tranquil and pleasant environment filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers. However, the hotel facilities are dated, especially the TV, which I'd recommend upgrading soon. The service was great. A peculiar feature of the hotel is the abundance of mirrors – it's the most mirrored hotel I've ever stayed in, and I'm curious about the design philosophy behind it. My stay coincided with 'Bai Tian Gong,' the most important Hokkien celebration for the Jade Emperor's birthday. The hotel lobby even had offerings laid out, which gave us a taste of Hokkien customs. I must say, Xiamen and Taiwan are almost indistinguishable, from their food and customs to their local snacks – they're all identical. This was my third visit to Xiamen, and I explored some new places. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. It offers good value for money, and the breakfast was also quite nice.

This hotel truly understands what travelers need! The lobby surprisingly has a tobacco and tea shop, which is super convenient if you want to grab some souvenirs or emergency drinks and cigarettes – no need to run around looking for them. Even more thoughtful, there's a tea station, and the duty manager, Xiao Huang, served me a wonderfully fragrant jasmine tea. The staff are all incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place for my next trip!
The room for this type of accommodation is really tiny; even for one person, it felt cramped. The pictures from the booking were quite different from reality. The courtyard room's doors and windows were completely enclosed, and I couldn't understand why the courtyard was so spacious while the room itself was so small. The toilet and shower were cramped, which I didn't like. However, the public hot spring bath was nice, with fresh water daily, and the private in-room hot spring was good too. A special shout-out to a lovely, round-faced young lady from the concierge team – it's not easy for a woman to handle and pull heavy luggage!

We chose Pullman initially because it's very close to Quanzhou South Station, just a fifteen-minute drive away. Plus, it's about a 30-minute drive from the hotel to Luojia Temple and Shili Golden Coast, which are right next to each other, offering magnificent scenery and well worth a visit. The hotel's hardware and decor are quite good, very new, and the price offers good value for money. My biggest fear when staying at a hotel is being disturbed at night and not getting enough sleep, and unfortunately, that's exactly what happened. From around midnight on the eighth day of the ***** New Year, locals started setting off fireworks and firecrackers, and it continued until well past 1:30 AM on the ninth. I was lying in bed, unable to sleep due to the continuous noise. Later, I heard it was a local custom to celebrate the birthday of the Jade Emperor. We also requested a high floor when checking in, precisely to avoid noise from upstairs guests. Even though we were on the 21st floor in a loft-style room with high ceilings, we could still hear the thudding vibrations from guests walking heavily upstairs and the grating noise of chairs and tables being dragged. I'd suggest the hotel consider installing carpets in the rooms to cushion and reduce floor noise. Additionally, you have to stand in the bathtub to shower, and there's no handheld showerhead. The breakfast selection is varied and tasty, and it wasn't crowded, so we didn't have the issue of not finding a seat like at other hotels.

The hotel environment is great, the bed is clean and tidy, and the pillows are soft and comfortable. The room had tea bags and tea sets, so we wanted to make some tea. We asked the front desk for two more bottles of water, and the cleaning staff quickly brought them to us. Deliveries were also brought up by a robot, which was very fast and convenient! The breakfast selection was extensive, with most dishes being Fuzhou specialties, plus salads, cakes, freshly ground coffee, and fruit.

For my Quanzhou trip, I chose the InterContinental Taihe, initially drawn by its convenient location, close to all the main attractions.
I booked an Executive Suite, which included Executive Lounge access. The room offered simultaneous views of the Ferris wheel and Jinjiang Bridge – you could watch the tide come and go during the day, and the nighttime views were even more stunning. Right next door was the Maritime Silk Road Xunfeng Night Market, bustling with local life.
From check-in onwards, the staff's service was exceptional, especially Ms. Xiao Mao. Her service was consistently attentive and responsive to every request. The room key card was also very unique and made for a nice souvenir.
The breakfast is highly recommended; it featured almost every type of Quanzhou snack, allowing you to savor global delicacies without leaving the hotel. Western dishes, fruits, and regular breakfast items were also plentiful. It truly lives up to its reputation as a 'World City of Gastronomy,' and I can understand why international visitors also choose to stay here.

Traveling during the off-season 🏃 was incredibly comfortable!
This is an old-school state guesthouse, nestled against Dawang Peak, boasting a superb natural environment. The room layout was also very comfortable. The hotel grounds felt extensive enough for a half-day stroll, and a walk up the back hill was quite enjoyable. Plus, there's a cute little dog! 🐶

GGuest UserBooked too late, so all the hotels in the city center couldn't accommodate my booking requirements. I had no choice but to opt for Shoukia Junlan Hotel. The hotel's location is indeed a bit out of the way, but it's right by a subway station, which is convenient for those without a car. The subway goes directly to the Sanqixiang Scenic Area. Since I arrived quite late on the day of check-in, I had dinner directly at the ground floor restaurant. The hotel's Chinese food was quite good and the portions were generous. We ate until past 9 PM, and the staff were still very polite and didn't complain. Also, Auntie Zhu Yuanyuan, our room attendant on the tenth floor, was incredibly warm and polite, always ready to help with anything we needed. She promptly arranged anything we requested. Highly recommend!

DDoriewwwImpressed by Wuyi, the most beautiful椿泊. The hotel is nestled in a quiet spot yet close to the action, built right along the creek. It's a pleasant walk to Song Street and Sangu Food Street. The Song Dynasty aesthetic blends seamlessly with the Wuyi Mountain landscape, creating an infinitely enchanting view. What truly stands out are the hotel staff; every single one is genuinely warm and friendly, offering prompt and thoughtful service with a sweet smile. I'll definitely be back here again!
GGuest UserThis is hands down the best hot spring hotel I've stayed at all year! I regret not coming sooner!
✅ Private hot spring perfection: The room comes with its own hot spring tub, so you can soak whenever you want with ultimate privacy. The hot spring water is so smooth, my skin felt amazing after a soak!
✅ Super attentive service: They were incredibly responsive to every request.
✅ Incredibly photogenic: The hotel has such a great design; every corner is a photo opportunity.
Definitely the perfect choice to escape the city hustle and bustle and recharge. Go for it!
Iivy_5471Every year when I come to Xiamen, I stay at the Swiss Grand for a few days, and this is my fourth time. What attracts me most to the Swiss Grand is its excellent location and rooms directly facing Gulangyu Island. I have to say, the Swiss Grand meets all my needs for a trip to Xiamen.
First, let's talk about the location. It's situated in the heart of Siming District, right next to Zhongshan Road. You can walk to Bashi Market, the Botanical Garden, and Xiamen Ferry Terminal. Taking a taxi to Nanputuo Temple, Shapowei, the Twin Towers, and Xiamen University is always just the starting fare. The Exit to the hotel is also the starting station of Metro Line 1, which goes directly to Gaoqi Airport.
Then there's the room facing Gulangyu Island – it's absolutely unbeatable! It completely matches my aesthetic. Whenever I sit by the floor-to-ceiling window in my room, enjoying the beautiful Gulangyu Island opposite, with a cup of black tea, I feel utterly content. What's even more impressive is that the room is very spacious, well-equipped, and the quality is consistently high. It offers excellent value for money!
The breakfast is very rich, with a wide variety of Western and Chinese options, plus local specialties – you name it, they have it, and it all tastes great. The service is excellent; the greeters at the entrance are very attentive. The front desk was a bit ordinary, but customer service responded promptly and was always helpful.
The only slight drawback was the slow check-in process. This might be due to the hotel being fully booked during the Chinese New Year holiday, but it also reflects that the hotel doesn't have good solutions for handling such surges in guests. We waited over an hour to check in, and at that time, one guest had waited three hours and still hadn't gotten into their room, and ended up arguing with the front desk... This had a very negative impact on the hotel's image. I hope they can further improve their management during holidays!
CChor GheeSuperbly located in a quiet leafy neighborhood next to a beautiful lake (good for birdwatching during spring). Very well maintained hotel premise - despite its 3-decade old history - kudos to hotel management. The central atrium is impressive with a nice historical mural, ideal for a delightful afternoon coffee or evening cocktail. Has a 15m open-air pool that is open throughout the year (a rare gem in Xiamen) - sparklingly clean water, refreshingly cool, with nice view of the lake through the pool terrace. Adjacent to hotel is a cosy bar / F&B enclave - offering a variety of foodie options. The on-premise Italian and fusion-Vietnamese restaurants are very popular among locals and tourists alike.
AAprilblossomsGreat hotel with exceptional services.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. During our stay, we received remarkable services from the hotel staff beginning with the young Bellboy who greeted us on the day we arrived and thereafter. The front desk staff are friendly and professional; check-in was quick and easy, and especially Charis, who had patiently answered many questions that we had for Xiamen. We appreciated Lia, who helped us to get taxi by using her own phone with the local DiDi program and makes sure the taxi driver knows our destination. We also appreciated Alice from the dining room, who to cut and packed the fruits we brought from the market on the day we checked out. Last but not least was cleaned daily. We felt great when we saw a note from the housekeeper and found towels folded 🐘 on our bed one day and a swan on the next day.

GGuest UserI came to Changle for the You Shen festival and had an early morning flight the next day, so I specifically chose this hotel because it offered airport transfer service. The hotel's architecture is simple yet grand, and the lobby's glass is bright and sparkling. Overall, it feels high-end and refined, quite distinctive. The check-in process, from registration to getting the room card, was smooth and efficient, no long waits. Plus, my king-size room was upgraded directly to a premium room, which was a pleasant surprise! The staff, especially Peanut, noticed we had an early flight and thoughtfully gave us complimentary double breakfasts, ensuring we could fill up before starting a comfortable day! It's rare to find a hotel that's this warm and thoughtful. Definitely a five-star review. I'll choose this place again next time I'm in Fuzhou.
