Within a two-kilometer radius, you won't find any common eateries like Shaxian snacks or Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles; there are only two very makeshift roadside dumpling and *shaobing* (savory flatbread) stalls. I'm surprised there's such a desolate hotel in Shanghai. Cars pass by, but there's no bus stop within a kilometer."

"The hotel offers a free airport shuttle service, which is its biggest advantage. The ride takes about 20 minutes, and buses run hourly. I recommend contacting the hotel in advance. I was transferring at Pudong Airport T1. The shuttle pick-up point is across the zebra crossing from the exit, down to parking lot B1, then up the elevator to the 1st floor's ride-hailing waiting area. Walk a bit further past spot number 1315, and wait at the parking lot exit. The shuttle is shared by several hotels, not exclusive to this one. This morning's drop-off took about 30 minutes, so if you have a flight, it's best to leave early. I had originally booked a single room without a window, but the front desk upgraded my room, which was great service. They provided a toothbrush and toothpaste set, and disposable towels. The shower pressure was strong, and there were two complimentary bottles of mineral water in the room. The only downside was that the duvet cover had many holes and was very old. I suggest the owner replace the damaged duvet covers immediately. Overall, as an airport transit hotel, it's very economical and practical. I'll definitely come again."
