"Lovely stay at this hotel. The room was very big and comfortable, although the walls are a little thin so can clearly hear people talking. For pet owners: note that the Laomendong pedestrian street is not pet friendly (even though there was no sign at the street that we walked through) but the area behind the hotel was lovely and quiet and great to walk the dog. We could also walk past the old city walls which was beautiful. Parking is nearby and quite convenient."

"Choosing this hotel for my Suzhou trip was such a smart move! It's right next to the Master of the Nets Garden, just a few minutes' walk to the entrance, and super close to the subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. Shiquan Street is right nearby with tons of local Suzhou snacks and dessert shops, so dining and shopping are a breeze. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was quick. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with a wonderful ambiance. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Suzhou. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the gardens!"

Very Good
GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the comb was very unique. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which was a big plus. The location was excellent, with the subway, bus, and major attractions like Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum all within a 15-minute walk. Along the way, there were commercial streets with snacks and local specialties, and places like Yaba Shengjian and Guanqian Street were not far, making it very convenient! After a long day of sightseeing, returning to the hotel was a great way to unwind! The open-air patio was particularly interesting; I happened to catch it during the rain, which added a wonderful ambiance! The service was exceptionally good; they were very patient and helpful with services like mailing. Highly recommended! The room also featured central air conditioning, electric curtains, and an automatic toilet!

WWorld wonders 探险者Nestled in the heart of a picturesque landmark, this guesthouse offers stunning views of Pingjiang Road at night. There's a cat café right across the street, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even do your laundry for free. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making this a fantastic choice for your stay.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and had a unique charm. The hostess was lovely and incredibly thoughtful. I've already booked for next year! My trip was a bit rushed this time, so I didn't get to fully appreciate all the creative touches at Zhoushuang Life Inn. I'll save that for next year's visit.
FFangjiajiugaizhujiudianThe old Hyatt, soon to be rebranded as a JW, was in a transition period, so I didn't have high expectations for the hardware or software. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of service, especially from Front Desk staffer Xiao Yang, who deserves special praise. The room was standard, but the executive lounge was surprisingly huge, comparable to the Ritz-Carlton Xi'an, though it felt a bit empty with so few guests. For a trip to Wuxi, staying here is incredibly convenient for visiting both Nanchan Street and Huishan Ancient Town. I'm looking forward to seeing how it improves after the rebranding and renovation.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, the dam had been repaired, and we could see the beautiful view of Tianmu Lake from the hotel door. The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. For other dishes, we ordered black rice and The small bamboo shoots are quite delicious when cooked, and the experience is still very good!
GGuest UserAn excellent experience! The location is superb, within walking distance to Tongli Ancient Town, making travel and sightseeing incredibly convenient. Our housekeeper, Xiao Wang, was warm, thoughtful, and provided attentive, detailed service, always ready to help with any request. The resort environment is elegant and tranquil, and the room was clean and comfortable. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money – a top choice for any trip!
GGuest UserA huge thank you to the front desk staff for the complimentary upgrade to an Executive Lake View room! Standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows on the 68th floor, we enjoyed panoramic views of Xuanwu Lake and the Ming City Wall, sometimes shrouded in morning mist like a wonderland, other times bathed in glorious sunshine. With our favorite music playing on the in-room Bluetooth speaker, our hotel getaway was completely untouched by any 'pandemic blues.' It was absolutely beautiful!
The breakfast and lunch on the 45th floor were incredibly varied, especially lunch. The sheer number of options was so vast, I can only describe it as the dining area practically circling more than half of the floor – there was no way to try everything. My only slight regret was that dinner on the 47th floor was a bit less impressive, but that didn't diminish our love for the InterContinental Hotel one bit.
XXiaohuadidiThe hotel environment is great, and the rooms have just been renovated but there's no unpleasant smell. The service is excellent! I'd especially like to thank Tingting at the front desk, Wang Zhi from housekeeping for the beautiful flowers, Xiaoyun at the kids' club for helping me find my baby's water bottle, and Wu Dan for the generous fruit delivery. Overall, the service was fantastic! [smiley faces] It's also very suitable for children, as they can feed koi, bunnies, black swans, and ducklings. The children's play facilities are also abundant.
GGuest UserI booked the Starry Sky room, but it rained. I'm not sure what was going on with the roof, but from morning on, there was a constant dripping sound, like water hitting the canopy. It would drip every now and then, making it hard to sleep.
It was the May Day holiday, so there were a lot of guests, but it felt like the hotel lacked a crowd management plan. Breakfast was crowded, but still bearable. The worst experience was dinner. I had planned to eat at the hotel for convenience. However, after ordering, forty minutes passed and not a single dish arrived, while tables that arrived after us were already getting their food. I completely lost it. There was no apology or reassurance during the process, and pushing for our order yielded no results. A very poor experience overall.
NNevermindXOn a short trip to Nanjing after returning from Kuala Lumpur, I focused on Xinjiekou based on online reviews, and Jinling Hotel consistently ranked high. After checking in, I was very satisfied with the service, location, and dining. I highly recommend choosing the Asia Pacific Tower for its superior amenities; the Dyson hairdryer was a definite plus. Located in the heart of the business district, it's very close to Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) and the Presidential Palace, with plenty of local snacks like soup dumplings and duck blood vermicelli soup nearby. It's an old-established hotel even local drivers recommend, making it the top choice for a short getaway.
