Specifically came to Suzhou's Dongshan for the white jade loquats this weekend, but opted not to stay at Dongshan Hotel this time. Instead, we drove an hour back to the city to stay at Wu Palace. It was my first time here, and our room was on the first floor. The lobby is on the third floor, so we had to take the elevator down to the first floor, then navigate a bit to find our room. With two elderly people, it was a little inconvenient. However, my family unanimously agreed that the hotel's ambiance is quite unique, and decided that next time we visit Suzhou, we'll definitely choose Wu Palace again (they specifically told me to book a room on the 3rd floor)😁.
It's loquat season now, and the two loquat trees in the courtyard are perfectly in theme. Amidst the white walls and black tiles, loquats hang from the branches. I woke up early to snap a few photos📸 of the loquat trees. Being under the trees, everything felt so fresh🤤.

This hotel is located near Sanyang Plaza, making it super convenient for getting around. The views are fantastic, especially at night when you can see the city center's nightscape. The room is spacious, with a modern minimalist style, and the large bed is really comfortable. The front desk staff are lovely and very helpful; you can reach them through the hotel's WeChat if you need anything. There are also plenty of famous Wuxi local eateries nearby, like Sanfeng Bridge and Wangxingji. It's also a shopping district, so retail therapy is a breeze. There's even an anime-themed mall downstairs – worth checking out if you're into that sort of thing, it's quite fun! The overall vibe of the hotel is great, and the environment is excellent. Friends visiting Wuxi should definitely come and experience this high-rise hotel. Highly recommended! ✨

Staying at Yangzhou Yingbinguan, I felt the full romance of a spring day in Jiangnan ✨.
I took my mom on a trip to Yangzhou and was instantly smitten with Yangzhou Yingbinguan! From check-in to check-out, every detail perfectly hit the mark for aesthetics and comfort. Half of the joy of this trip came from this amazing hotel!
🏡 Living in a Jiangnan Garden, every step is a poem.
The entire complex is a massive traditional Chinese garden, with pavilions, towers, small bridges over flowing water, and rockeries. In spring, cherry blossoms and crabapples are in full bloom, and black swans gracefully swim on the lake. Even the air is filled with the fragrant scent of plants and trees.
We stayed in Building 11, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared welcome gifts: 'Mi San Dao', 'Xiao Mabing', and 'Niupi Tang' from Qilin Pavilion, along with specialty pastries embossed with 'Yangzhou'. The room facilities were also very new.
Shuttle carts were available on call throughout the park, making it super convenient to get from our room to Quyuan or other places. It was so thoughtful for traveling with seniors, as they didn't have to walk too much!
📸 Hanfu Styling, bringing the spring vibe to life.
The package included a Hanfu photoshoot, located on the first floor of Building 11. There were dozens of Hanfu styles, and the free options were quite good. If you preferred, paid options were an additional 100 RMB.
We also added makeup and styling for 100 RMB per person. The makeup artist was excellent; even with many guests waiting, she was very dedicated. The photographer was also great, skilled at guiding poses. My mom's photos turned out gentle and elegant! We received 5 free lightly retouched photos, and additional retouches were only 20 RMB/photo, which was good value for money.
🍜 Quyuan, a Black Pearl Restaurant.
Quyuan Teahouse, a Black Pearl 1-diamond restaurant, is conveniently located right within Yingbinguan, meaning you don't have to leave the hotel to experience it! It does get very busy, so it's a good idea to get a number in advance and then explore nearby. The hotel's own breakfast was also excellent.
🚶♀️ Direct Access to Slender West Lake, no queuing is a blessing!
On the second day, to visit Slender West Lake, the hotel has an exclusive fast lane! No need to wait in long queues at the scenic area entrance; you can enter directly from the hotel grounds. This was truly stress-free for traveling with seniors (normal admission tickets are still required).
The hotel garden seamlessly connects to Slender West Lake. In spring, Slender West Lake is vibrant with green willows and colorful flowers, with beautiful scenery at every turn.
🎭 Intangible Cultural Heritage Mini-Theater, an immersive experience of Yangzhou folk customs.
During the holidays, the hotel arranged an 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Mini-Theater', which truly amazed us! Yangzhou puppet shows, Yangzhou Qingqu opera, and Yangzhou Pinghua storytelling were performed in rotation. The performers were all professional, and acts like puppet calligraphy and pipa serenades were full of Yangzhou charm.
This trip to Yangzhou, Yangzhou Yingbinguan truly gave us so many surprises. From the garden landscape and thoughtful service to the delicious food and intangible cultural heritage experiences, all the beauty of Yangzhou was concentrated here.
When traveling with your mom, choosing the right hotel is so important! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will definitely stay here again!
Staying at Wo Pai Designer Hotel was a fantastic experience. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive; as soon as I arrived, they immediately helped with my luggage, making me feel right at home. We had ordered many packages before arriving, and they were all safely received. They even helped us with packages we needed to send out. One day, the hotel unexpectedly experienced a power outage, but even though it wasn't their fault, they still brought us delicious afternoon tea and coffee. The room's bathtub also came with bubble bath and disposable bath liners. The hotel's location is super convenient for transportation; it's close to all the attractions. There's also a Wo Pai cafe next door where you can enjoy coffee and afternoon tea, and the street itself has tons of great food options.
How could you not want to stay at such a thoughtful hotel? My only minor suggestion would be for the hotel to add a full-length mirror, especially useful for women, haha. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Suzhou.

Zhouzhuang was our last stop, and this guesthouse is right in the heart of the ancient town. We contacted the owner beforehand and even got a little unexpected surprise. We had to park our car outside the town, but the room was very clean. The owners are a super friendly couple and provided us with a tourist map. I hope to come back again someday. Wishing the owners great business and happiness to all!

If I had to describe this hotel in four words, it would be: “Always Ready to Help.”
After checking in, guests are assigned a dedicated WeChat contact, making it easy to communicate any requests or questions directly with the hotel. The customer service manager responds very quickly and genuinely cares about guests’ comfort and overall experience. Any issues, big or small, are handled efficiently, giving you a true sense that guest satisfaction is their top priority.
The hotel offers complimentary laundry and drying facilities, a gym, and a modern, stylish design throughout the property. Upon arrival, the staff helped us with our luggage, and after check-in, our bags were delivered directly to our room free of charge. Such thoughtful service made us feel very welcomed.
Breakfast mainly consists of Chinese-style dishes, with Suzhou-style noodles being a special highlight. My favorite part of the stay was the complimentary Hanfu experience! There were many beautiful outfits to choose from, and each set could be worn for up to two hours. Guests are even allowed to wear them outside for sightseeing and photos. My mother and I changed into two different Hanfu outfits during our stay, and it was a wonderful experience.
A special thank you to the customer service manager for taking such great care of us, for the fruit platter, and for upgrading us to a room with a bathtub. The room was incredibly spacious and very comfortable. Even the television could be adjusted and rotated for better viewing from different angles.
Cleanliness is clearly a priority here. The hotel provides disposable hygiene covers for both the toilet seat and bathtub, giving guests extra peace of mind. The entire property has a charming artistic atmosphere, and there is even a cozy reading corner near the laundry room where guests can relax with a book.
The location is another major advantage. There are plenty of restaurants and food options right downstairs, making the area lively and convenient. Most attractions are only about 10 minutes away by car, with Didi rides typically costing just RMB 8–10. The high-speed rail station is also within a 15-minute drive.
If you have not planned your itinerary yet, the hotel can recommend local tours and travel packages as well. They also provide parcel collection services, carefully storing your deliveries until you arrive to collect them.
ANDU Hotel truly puts guest experience first.

This is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Suzhou! 🥹 The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location was convenient, and everything I needed was provided. 🥰 The staff were all so kind and made me feel taken care of, just like home. 💕 It was so comfortable I didn't even want to go out, I just wanted to stay in the hotel as if it were my own home. 🫶🏻 Now that I'm in Shanghai, I miss Suzhou and the atmosphere of your hotel, especially Xiao An. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit! ❤️😘

I originally booked two different room types for three nights and needed to switch rooms in the middle. Duncan was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded my room, allowing me to enjoy the city view from the Asia Pacific Building for three days, which was a fantastic experience. The room layout was exactly to my liking, and it was spotlessly clean with excellent air conditioning.
The breakfast on the first floor offered a wide variety of local specialties; the large meat buns and beef potstickers were delicious. From the 56th floor, you could see Xuanwu Lake and Jiming Temple, and I really enjoyed the wontons.
The hotel is right next to the subway station, making it super convenient to get to scenic spots and the train station. This trip, except for one night when I was too tired and took a taxi back from Confucius Temple, I used the subway for all my travel.
Next time I visit, I will definitely choose Jinling Hotel again and try out Meiyuan.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right above a commercial street with a subway station conveniently located just outside. There's a charming pedestrian bridge next to the subway, perfect for photos and adding to the overall ambiance. The hotel is also incredibly close to a major shopping mall; cross the bridge, and you're at Vientiane World – truly a superb spot!
Service: The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, genuinely caring for every guest and resolving issues remarkably quickly.
Ambiance: The Japanese-inspired decor creates a fantastic atmosphere. The rooms are spotlessly clean, wonderfully comfortable, and tidy. Staying here was a truly delightful experience.

Had an amazing Totoro-themed trip with my friends! The hotel environment is unique, with lots of charming details that make for great photos. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept really well. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining, drinking, and entertainment options nearby. It's incredibly good value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changzhou. KKok Hong GanI had a wonderful stay at this homestay at 平江路. The location is very strategic, with easy access to many attractions, shops, and food spots, making it very convenient to explore the area.
The place itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made the whole stay smooth and enjoyable.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. I accidentally left my phone in a taxi, and the host went above and beyond to help me. They quickly coordinated with the driver and handled everything until my phone was safely returned.
I really appreciate the extra effort and care, it made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful host!

WWorld wonders 探险者Nestled in the heart of a picturesque landmark, this guesthouse offers stunning views of Pingjiang Road at night. There's a cat café right across the street, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even do your laundry for free. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making this a fantastic choice for your stay.

Wwl****The location is fantastic, right inside the ancient town. You can get in for free after 5 PM. Plus, after breakfast the next day, you can tour Shen Hall and Zhang Hall for free. The value for money is just incredible! They even provide a bath kit in the room, which is a really thoughtful touch. Big thumbs up, highly recommend!
GGuest UserThe breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and quality that I really enjoyed. However, it might have been due to a holiday, but there was no one to seat us in the breakfast area. We basically had to find and grab tables ourselves, which made for a rather chaotic experience.
The high-floor city view was indeed fantastic, offering a panoramic outlook. Plus, being right above a shopping mall made it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. I had specifically requested a king-size bed when booking to make it easier with my child, and the hotel arranged it as requested, which was a thoughtful touch.
However, staying with a child presented a few inconveniences: it was difficult for one person to pick up takeout with a child, as the hotel doesn't offer room delivery for external food. I had to go down twice by elevator to retrieve it myself, which was quite a hassle. The elevators were also rather slow, and during peak hours, we waited for a long time. As for amenities, only children's slippers and toothbrushes were provided; no children's toiletries, which was inconvenient.
On a positive note, Kevin Chen from the concierge team deserves praise. His service attitude was excellent, and he was very proactive in helping with any requests, which made me feel very comfortable.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, the dam had been repaired, and we could see the beautiful view of Tianmu Lake from the hotel door. The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. For other dishes, we ordered black rice and The small bamboo shoots are quite delicious when cooked, and the experience is still very good!
RRemilyWe were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂
The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally.
For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁
Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.
PppballMy stay at the InterContinental Nanjing Greenland Financial Center was absolutely incredible, truly living up to its reputation as Nanjing's landmark 'cloud hotel.' The hotel is centrally located, with direct subway access, making getting around super convenient. The high-floor rooms offer breathtaking views, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Xuanwu Lake, Purple Mountain, and the cityscape of Jinling. Both the sunset and the nighttime city lights create a truly atmospheric experience. The room was spacious and spotless, with soft, comfortable bedding and well-equipped bathroom facilities; the attention to detail was impressive. The staff were warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and they proactively offered helpful guidance. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring authentic Nanjing flavors, and the high-altitude pool and gym facilities were excellent. The overall environment is upscale and elegant, and the service is meticulous. I highly recommend it for both leisure and business travel – I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Nanjing!
Special mention to Bailyn and Steven, whose service was particularly excellent, warm, and gentle.
XXiaohuadidiThe hotel environment is great, and the rooms have just been renovated but there's no unpleasant smell. The service is excellent! I'd especially like to thank Tingting at the front desk, Wang Zhi from housekeeping for the beautiful flowers, Xiaoyun at the kids' club for helping me find my baby's water bottle, and Wu Dan for the generous fruit delivery. Overall, the service was fantastic! [smiley faces] It's also very suitable for children, as they can feed koi, bunnies, black swans, and ducklings. The children's play facilities are also abundant.
1110153****A clean and affordable hot spring hotel with few guests. The service attitude was genuinely excellent – friendly, attentive, and patient. The hot springs were also good; the key is that there weren't many people, making for a very relaxing soak. Soaking in the winter is truly comfortable. We were warm and toasty, and it wasn't cold at all walking back from the outdoor pools.
The breakfast was abundant with plenty of choices.
However, a few complaints: The family room was advertised to have a sofa bed, but it was very small, only suitable for a child. Once unfolded, half was a hardboard and half a soft cushion, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The shampoo and body wash provided for showering at the hot springs were quite low-quality, and there was no conditioner. Also, the changing room air conditioning was insufficient, so it was quite cold while changing clothes.
WWeixiaowangquqiThe family room was really spacious with two large beds, easily accommodating four people. Breakfast was typical Holiday Inn fare, with hot food and noodles, plus convenient to-go coffee cups, which was a nice touch. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out were both quick. The hotel is right next to MixC World and Metro Line 4, making it super convenient for getting around.
