Romantic Hotels in Guangxi, China

Our stay was excellent, from the initial booking confirmation and check-in to the subsequent service follow-up and prompt response to our needs. The front desk staff handled everything efficiently and professionally, definitely exceeding a 5-star rating. The hotel's location is superb, very close to attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, with a food street downstairs and East-West Alley just a stone's throw away. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back!

A friend recommended Qilou. I stayed in this hotel for one night. I booked a river view room. The view was not so beautiful because it was raining. The breakfast was ordinary. The dinner was well cooked and reasonably priced. The taste was good. It was not a star hotel. It was a bit outrageous to charge a 10% service fee. Tea was also required. It was charged even if I didn't order it. I took a bath in the bathtub in the room at night to eliminate fatigue. As a result, the bathtub was leaking. I almost slipped. I couldn't see clearly that there was water on the tiles. I slipped and saw that it was all water. The aunt came to clean it quickly because it was too late and refused to repair it. I hope the hotel will repair the room in time. The attitude of the waiters is good.

Amazing hotel! Spectacular views. It is about a 40mins didi ride from the Yangshuo station but totally worth it! We stayed at the no.8 building which is away from the lobby but we get taken there either by a private car or the buggy. Breakfast was included and it was okay. The Guilin noodles was definitely the highlight of breakfast. There was also daily refill of the minibar, fruit as well as afternoon tea consisting of nuts, fruits and desserts and Chinese sweet dessert at night. The private car was convenient as it can take you to close surrounding areas. The drivers were really nice. Our 管家 (housekeepers) 西西 and 勤勤 were really nice and friendly too. We had no plan so thank you to 西西and勤勤 for recommending different activities for us and helped us book tickets for cheaper prices too! We had so much fun paragliding, ATV car riding and visiting scenic places! As the weather was cooler, we didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. The hotel itself could use some upkeep though, as some of the paint is wearing off. Nevertheless, I'd definitely come back. The village where the hotel is located at is absolutely charming! Love it :)

Our first hotel stay in Guilin, and what a fantastic experience! The front desk staff upgraded us to a courtyard room, which was incredibly thoughtful. The service was warm and attentive from start to finish, from the welcome tea to the staff's cheerful responses and quick fulfillment of our requests – their sincerity really shone through in every detail. The facilities are comprehensive and high-end, featuring smart room controls, a direct-drinking water dispenser, and everything you could need. Plus, there's an infinity pool, a gym, and a kids' club, offering both comfort and fun. The environment is simply breathtaking; located in the heart of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, you can open your window to a picturesque landscape. The interior decor is elegant, serene, quiet, and spotless. The rooftop observation deck is perfect for catching the sunset and stargazing, making you feel like you're living inside a Guilin ink wash painting. When we checked out, I forgot my phone, and the staff kindly helped mail it to me – truly above and beyond service! Everyone should definitely stay at this hotel!

Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately drawn in by two rows of lush bamboo – the new Chinese style really resonated with me! The minimalist black and white lobby features ink wash paintings and tea elements, while wooden furniture paired with mountain light and shadows creates a serene, Zen-like atmosphere perfect for photos. Rooms start at a spacious 50 sqm, and opening the balcony door reveals views of green mountains and dark tiles. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the sunset paint the peaks golden in the evening feels incredibly private. For families with kids, rest assured; the butler proactively provides bed rails and baby-friendly mosquito coils – such thoughtful details!

Service: Most of the waiters are proactive, enthusiastic and friendly. I especially want to praise Miss Wu Lifen, who is very attentive and considerate. Facilities: Very new, good in all aspects. Environment: The resort is very large and the air is very fresh. The room is also very quiet. The dishes in the Chinese restaurant are also good. If you bring a child with a height of 120-150cm to soak in the hot spring, it is neither considered an adult nor a free ticket. You have to pay an additional 100 yuan for the hot spring. Breakfast is not free either, and you have to pay extra. It's a bit embarrassing...

Excellent, the usual friendly Marriott service. I brought my family to Guangxi for a trip and chose to stay here on our last night. I'm a long-time Marriott Bonvoy member. It's very close to Mixc City, which is considered Nanning's most bustling commercial area. They kindly upgraded my room for free, and outside the window, I could see the big Ferris wheel, which was beautiful at night. The hotel facilities are comprehensive. I highly recommend the buffet on the 17th floor. Since our flight was at 6:30 PM and my child fell asleep at check-out, I spoke with the lovely lady at the front desk, and they extended our stay by two hours free of charge, for which I'm very grateful. I will definitely choose a Marriott property again next time.

Our family, originally from beautiful Xinjiang, stayed for two nights. The first night, we had booked a city view room, but after seeing the river view room upon arrival, we decisively upgraded. Being able to enjoy the first-rate river view and the scenery of Fubo Hill right from our room was fantastic. Due to dietary differences, our breakfast options were quite limited, but the hotel's service was exceptional. After learning about our situation, they immediately asked if there was anything specific we'd like for breakfast the next day, offering to buy and prepare it for us. This was incredibly thoughtful, and I really commend them for it. They also proactively arranged our preferred balcony room for the remainder of our stay. The facilities were complete, and the room was clean and tidy. We were very satisfied with our stay and hope to visit Guilin again.

A five-star experience, conquered by the details! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt the genuine hospitality. The staff proactively helped with my luggage and greeted me, and check-in was efficient and quick. The biggest surprise was the night view; standing by the window of my 86th-floor room, Nanning's cityscape of twinkling lights was breathtaking, romantic, and truly soothing. The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the exhibition center, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. The service from my butler, Aurelia, was incredibly thoughtful. My room included afternoon tea, and every day at 3 PM, it would be packed and delivered to my room – the service was truly exceptional. The service from Lexi, Ally, Colin, and Jenna was also fantastic. I've already recommended it to my friends!

This hotel is perfect for family trips with kids; if you're visiting Guilin with children, you absolutely shouldn't miss it. **Location**: Conveniently located in Guilin city center, just two or three kilometers from Guilin Station—a few minutes by taxi. It's also only about 1 kilometer from Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area and Zhengyang Road Pedestrian Street. **Facilities**: We stayed on the family-themed floor with our kids. The room was spacious and featured bunk beds with a slide, a kids' table, a small tent, a rocking horse, and a large bathtub—perfect for soaking away the day's fatigue. There's also a kids' play area in the hallway, which was a huge hit; our child could play there all day and didn't want to leave! **Breakfast**: Breakfast is served on the 9th floor. It's extensive, offering Guilin rice noodles, mini wontons, Guilin oil tea, and a wide variety of other dishes—everything you could wish for. **Service**: The front desk staff provided excellent service, helping us with our luggage. They even assisted with laundry, washing and drying our clothes in the washing machine and then delivering them back to our room. You don't have to worry about a thing when you stay here. **Environment**: The 9th floor has a pool and an observation deck that's great for photos. There's a large frame that makes every shot look like a masterpiece of a thousand miles of rivers and mountains. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Guilin.
