Romantic Hotels in Guangxi, China

I came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!

Huge thanks to Cici, our butler, for the surprise birthday cake upon check-in – it really set the perfect mood! Niki and Felix were also incredibly friendly, making the entire stay very comfortable. The hotel's facilities are top-notch, and the backyard garden is both large and beautiful with excellent service. We had a wonderful birthday evening and will definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Guilin. Plus, the little back gate in the garden leads directly to the Li River!

We really enjoyed our stay at LSU Hotel. Without a doubt, the main highlight was the breathtaking view. We took a pampering room with a bathtub and a revolving bed, which was great, large, and spacious. The pool was excellent, with warm water and an amazingly beautiful view. The staff was attentive and helped with any issue that came up. The only thing I would like to point out is the food options at the hotel and in the surrounding area in general. Considering the price I paid for 3 nights, I would have expected very high-level food, but that was not the case. Breakfast was nice but nothing beyond that, and very repetitive. I would have expected at least an omelet station or a bit more variety. In addition, since the hotel is a bit far from the center, there aren’t many dining options in the evening nearby. We ate dinner one night at the hotel restaurant, and it was one of the least enjoyable meals we had on our trip. The selection was limited, and what we ordered was not to our taste at all. Other than that, there is no doubt I will remember this vacation forever, as my partner and I got engaged during our photoshoot there! Thank you to the hotel for an unforgettable experience.

Facilities: Very good, the mattress is super comfortable to sleep on, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, plus there's a bathtub! It's not a cheap tub either; you can tell they chose good quality. Most of the room facilities are great. Cleanliness: As soon as you enter the room, it feels very fresh, no strange odors, and the aromatherapy scent is lovely, giving a very comfortable feeling. Environment: The hotel is just a few dozen meters from West Street, and crucially, it's next to the pedestrian street, yet there's absolutely no noise from inside the hotel. West Street is in front, and the river is out the back, making evening strolls very pleasant. The guesthouse lobby also has a great design, perfect for photos. It's very quiet at night for sleeping, and you can even watch the sunrise and enjoy the scenery from the terrace. It's basically one of the tallest buildings on West Street. Overall, I'd give this guesthouse a top-tier rating.

The hot spring pools on the mountainside, coupled with the distant green peaks, are absolutely stunning. The rooftop infinity pool and Moon Mountain create a picturesque scene. The 270-degree panoramic mountain and water views are incredible! Plus, there's a free shuttle service to the pier for bamboo rafting, which was a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back! The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photography session, and the service was excellent, producing some truly beautiful photos. Ten out of ten!

Our stay with the kids was fantastic! They had so much fun they didn't want to leave. The hotel has a dedicated kids' club where they can play to their heart's content. The afternoon tea and breakfast provided were both exquisite! (Great presentation too, haha!) In the lobby, you can enjoy oil tea, sew embroidered balls, and try on Zhuang ethnic costumes for free photos. It's very suitable for families with children. The overall environment is comfortable, and the service is thoughtful and attentive. Highly recommend for family trips!

The hotel's location right by the Li River is quite peaceful, which I prefer over the noisy West Street area since I'm a light sleeper. I really appreciate that the front desk upgraded my room type. It's not far from West Street pedestrian street either, offering a quiet escape while still being convenient, almost like being on a backstreet in the countryside. The hotel also has its own restaurant where I ate both my meals; the food was delicious and good value for money, plus guests get a 10% discount. After dinner, a stroll along the river is lovely and relaxing, with locals also out for walks. You can get some great photos of the river and mountain views from the hotel's rooftop. They also offer self-service laundry and drying, which is super handy given how rainy and humid the weather can be here. All the staff, including housekeeping and restaurant servers, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos. I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival. **Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures. **Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding. **Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening. It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch. There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal. This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee.

We spent our vacation with our family and were absolutely delighted 😍 We especially liked the pool: there are comfortable sofas and tables around it, you can order drinks and food without leaving the water, and just relax. The pool offers an incredibly beautiful view of the mountains — that’s a separate pleasure ⛰️ Our room was very spacious and had a beautiful view. The bathroom is large and has all the necessary amenities: a freestanding bathtub, a separate shower, and a toilet. The minibar was replenished every day. All our requests during the stay were handled very quickly👌 The breakfasts are good, they’re more like European ones — that’s a big plus for foreign tourists. The hotel restaurant is delicious, and the selection of dishes is extensive. There’s a children’s room and two pools for kids, where our children spent the whole day. The hotel is perfect for a family holiday. We recommend it and would be happy to come back again!☺️☀️

The room offered a beautiful view of the Twin Towers at night, which was absolutely stunning. The room itself was very spacious and well-equipped. The service was also excellent, with staff providing lots of helpful travel advice. The hotel's location is fantastic, very close to Zhengyang Pedestrian Street and East-West Alley, perfect for those who enjoy evening strolls. We also tried the foot massage and the Sky Restaurant, and our child participated in a traditional handicraft workshop, all of which were great experiences. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Guilin.
