Out of all my travels in China, this was hands down the BEST hotel I’ve stayed at—and that’s saying a lot. From the moment we arrived, the level of warmth and genuine care from every single staff member stood out immediately. The front desk team was incredible—friendly, patient, and impressively multilingual, which made everything so much easier since my Chinese is limited. But what really made this place unforgettable were the people behind the scenes. The aunties who cleaned our rooms were honestly some of the kindest, most thoughtful people we encountered on our trip. They didn’t just do their job—they went above and beyond in ways that made us feel truly cared for. The kitchen staff were just as amazing. Every interaction felt warm and sincere. They even folded our laundry when we accidentally keft it in the dryer. And let’s talk about the breakfast—phenomenal. Not only was the quality outstanding, but the menu changed daily, which kept things exciting. If you’re debating whether to add breakfast to your stay… just do it. The overall vibe of the hotel is serene, peaceful, and elevated—it genuinely feels like a 5-star experience. And it always smells nice. Location-wise? 10/10. You’re within walking distance of many of Guilin’s main attractions, and right outside the entrance is a lively night market and shopping area. It’s the kind of convenience you don’t fully appreciate until you have it. I was booking for my family, which included three seniors, so my priorities for hotels were: location, cleanliness, safety, and accessibility. This hotel checked every single box—and then exceeded expectations in ways I didn’t even anticipate. If you’re considering where to stay in Guilin, pick this one 10/10. The best decision I made on this Yangshuo trip was choosing the Seasons Cloudscape Resort! Located within the Yulong River Scenic Area, the hotel offers breathtaking views of continuous karst peaks right from your window, making it feel like you're living inside a flowing ink wash painting. The environment is absolutely five-star. But what I want to praise the most is their 'heavenly' butler service, which was so attentive and thoughtful it was truly moving. From the moment the booking was confirmed, the butler provided full-service assistance via WeChat: sending transportation guides, recommending itineraries based on our preferences, helping us book restaurants in advance, and even arranging a complimentary room upgrade for one night. They were also incredibly accommodating to all requests from my child. The freshly made Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were authentic and delicious, and the complimentary afternoon tea and travel photography service were also very impressive. If you're looking for a hassle-free and comfortable trip to Yangshuo, this is definitely the place to choose! Highly recommended for all quality-seeking travelers!

They have full package from free 30 minutes photoshoot, personal butler service, free shuttle to and from West Street to the hotel, free breakfast, Chinese dessert at night for two and they even provided us a free gift upon check-out! It has a complete amenities for free, such as the mini bar!! No regret booking this hotel for our anniversary, because the hotel surprised us with a cute room decorations, room upgrade with a private pool and even gave us a free cake for celebration!! I could say that this is the best hotel to stay in Yangshuo and will definetely recommend this place to all our friends and family

The service is outstanding, other hotels should really take notes. 1. The in-room water dispenser is so much better than a kettle (kettles are practically useless). It's incredibly convenient to have hot water readily available, especially when traveling with kids. 2. They provide toilet disinfectant that you can grab anytime. I usually bring my own toilet seat covers, but now I don't have to. 3. The towel warmer rack is great for easily drying kids' socks. 4. Plus, there's a washing machine, dryer, and shoe dryer – it's all so thoughtful and user-friendly. 5. The breakfast is also delicious. I'll definitely choose this hotel again.

Room: Bright, sunny, and airy, with a pleasant view outside the window. Environment: Located near West Street but away from the crowds, with plenty of dining options nearby. Transportation: The bus from Yangshuo to Xingping Ancient Town passes right in front, making it super convenient for outings. It's also within the pick-up range for day tours, which is great for individuals and small families. Service: The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, assisting with bus schedules and luggage when leaving. Very warm and thoughtful. Cleanliness: The room was clean, tidy, and well-ventilated.

We stayed in a 180-degree river view room, and the Li River was right outside our window. Sitting in the tatami area, sipping tea and enjoying the view was truly delightful. I also loved the coffee shop downstairs; it felt like we were right on the riverbank, with an even more unobstructed view. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and patient with both children and seniors. They were quick to respond and efficient in their service. The cormorant fisherman was also super nice and amiable, and the cormorants were so cleverly trained! Breakfast offered a good variety of items, including many local specialties. It would be even better if the taste could be improved a bit. As for the location, Fubo Hill is right outside the hotel. Diecai Hill is just a 10-minute walk away. We went to Diecai Hill after breakfast, took our time hiking up, and enjoyed a panoramic view of Guilin. We were back at the hotel by 10:30 AM, had a refreshing shower after the workout – so convenient and effortless! In the evening, we strolled to East-West Alley/Jingjiang Princes' City, which was a comfortable 15-20 minute walk with the kids.

Originally, I booked Lijiang Courtyard, but then I thought about visiting Elephant Trunk Hill, so I decided to ask at the front desk just to see. To my surprise, the lady at the front desk immediately took us upstairs to show us the different room types, the restaurant, laundry room, pool, and playground. My child instantly decided they wanted to stay here. After check-in, the butler and the ladies at the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant were all incredibly thoughtful. They even washed and dried our clothes and delivered them directly to our room. We practically had the outdoor pool all to ourselves! I highly recommend the nearby Chunji Roasted Goose and Shengzai Seafood BBQ – both are absolutely delicious. The hotel breakfast was also very rich and varied; I especially loved the Zongzi, Guilin rice noodles, and tea eggs. Plus, you can walk directly to Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas, which is super convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

I highly recommend the Guolong Hotel! The biggest surprise was the huge parking lot – there's so much space that both family cars and business vehicles can park with ease, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. The front desk service was absolutely excellent; the staff were warm and thoughtful, handling check-in quickly and efficiently. They even proactively offered tips for local attractions, which really enhanced the whole check-in experience!

This hotel is absolutely incredible! I have to sing its praises! First, the environment: the moment I opened the door, I was blown away. A 180-degree floor-to-ceiling window framed the entire mountain view right into the room. I could watch the sunrise from bed, and the glass was so clean, my photos didn't even need a filter! Waking up in the morning and pulling back the curtains to see the continuous mountain ranges was truly healing. The service was impeccable. The front desk staff were all so enthusiastic, helping with luggage, booking attraction tickets, and even giving us a complimentary upgrade to the best room. I was really touched by their warmth. The facilities were quite new, and there was an outdoor swimming pool which, though small, was great for photos. You absolutely must try the Guilin rice noodles for breakfast – they're incredibly authentic! The only minor drawback is that the location is a little out of the way. It's 900 meters from the Romance Park and a bit further from West Street. However, the advantage is the peace and quiet, and you can rent an electric scooter right outside, making the ride to West Street just over ten minutes. All in all, I was extremely satisfied with this stay and will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Yangshuo!

The hotel's environment is simply amazing. The views from the room are absolutely stunning; you can see beautiful, picturesque landscapes right from your window. The hotel also has a huge swimming pool, and there's even an infinity pool outside the rooms – perfect for a swim in the summer. There are so many great spots for photos! The cleanliness is top-notch, everything is very neat and tidy. They even have a laundry room with ironing facilities, and gym equipment too. Downstairs, there's a coffee shop and a restaurant, which is very convenient. It's also really close to the bamboo raft rafting pier. The breakfast selection is extensive, and afternoon tea is provided as well. Upon check-in, we received a generous welcome fruit basket in our room. The service attitude is truly exceptional; if you have any needs, you can just speak to the front desk staff, they are very thoughtful and attentive.
