The hotel is new and the service is excellent. It's very convenient, and they even thoughtfully provided disposable bath bags and toilet seat covers. Downstairs, you're right by the river, and next to a night market with street food and a pedestrian street. You absolutely have to try the complimentary wheat bran hair wash – it seems to be a specialty of Liuzhou, with hair salons everywhere. I paid extra for the family combo, which was incredibly comfortable and great value for money. The travel photos turned out amazing, highly recommended!
The family room was on the 2nd floor. I thought for such a high price, we'd get a higher floor with a river view, but the upside was that the kids' ball pit was right outside the door, and my child had a fantastic time.
The floor-to-ceiling windows at the 12th-floor bar and the outdoor balcony at the 13th-floor restaurant offer a great view of the musical fountain at night, helping you avoid the crowds downstairs. The only downside is that the hotel gets busy, and the restaurant is a bit small, so there were no tables available during breakfast peak hours. If I get the chance to visit Liuzhou again, I'll definitely stay at the Wyndham.

I almost hesitated to write this review—purely for selfish reasons, because LS Hotel Yangshuo feels like a hidden gem you want to keep to yourself.
Service:
The service was outstanding. The team are incredibly helpful, innovative, and proactive. Even if you don’t speak Mandarin, they make everything easy by using translation apps to communicate clearly. They also coordinate via WeChat, which works very efficiently—just make sure you have it installed and verified before arrival.
Facilities:
The hotel offers a unique blend of a peaceful village setting with true 5-star comfort. The design and atmosphere are thoughtful and distinctive, giving you a novel experience that feels both authentic and luxurious.
Location & Transport:
Despite being in a tranquil rural area, transport is very convenient. Taxis are easy to arrange and reasonably priced, so getting around is not an issue at all.
Food:
The overall experience was excellent, and the setting enhances everything—including dining, which feels relaxed and in keeping with the surroundings. Daily fruits and Chinese desserts to the room.
Value:
Very reasonable pricing for such a high-quality and unique stay.
Overall, this is a rare find—a quiet pearl in Yangshuo combining charm, comfort, and exceptional service. I would absolutely return (though part of me still wants to keep it a secret!).

Choosing the right place to stay in Guilin is so important! This hotel is perfectly located right in the city center, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and buying local specialties, with a lively commercial area just outside the door. You can walk to Dongxi Alley and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, and it's also close to Elephant Trunk Hill and Jingjiang Princes' City, saving a lot of travel time. The restaurant upstairs offers fantastic views. The hotel rooms are quiet yet centrally located, with a comfortable atmosphere, easy access to everything, and top-notch scenery. It's truly suitable for family trips, friends traveling together, or solo adventurers. The location and the picturesque mountain and river views are absolutely flawless. I sincerely recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin!
I highly recommend the Guolong Hotel! The biggest surprise was the huge parking lot – there's so much space that both family cars and business vehicles can park with ease, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. The front desk service was absolutely excellent; the staff were warm and thoughtful, handling check-in quickly and efficiently. They even proactively offered tips for local attractions, which really enhanced the whole check-in experience!

With its tech-savvy rooms activated by voice command, this hotel has much to recommend itself. With its wall mounted water dispensing system allowing one to set temperature and get hot, warm or cold water at the press of a few buttons (rendering a kettle obsolete), a disinfectant cabinet for cups and glasses and a glass-fronted fridge named ”a soda fountain” where the mineral water, beers and fizzy drinks are kept, plus a motion sensor toilet bowl with heated seat, the rooms, though compact and lacking in counter and storage space, are made for ease and convenience. Among the hotel's comprehensive amenities are an outdoor swimming pool, guest laundry and gym, a tea room, a truly well furnished children's play area with game consoles and a niche for experiencing traditional crafts like fan dyeing. The attention to detail in its interior decor renders this establishment extremely camera-worthy. Its location right beside the serene Ronghu Park means the bulk of the rooms faces the lake with its panoramic vistas. A pity the television has no English language channels, not even their national CGTN.

The hotel's location is superb, offering a tranquil escape amidst the hustle and bustle, nestled by mountains and water, right next to Fubo Hill and the Li River. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a river view room, and the floor-to-ceiling window framed the river like a living painting. The service was excellent – warm, attentive, and prompt to respond to any request. The room was very clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable; after a tiring day of exploring, I slept soundly until morning. Not only did we rest well, but we also ate well. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the rice noodles were exceptionally delicious – I had two big bowls! The restaurant staff were also very welcoming. It's a shame the restaurant was booked for a private event, so we couldn't enjoy more of their delicious food. We truly felt at home here. As a parting gift, they gave us a beautiful and intricate Zhuang brocade display. I'd say it offers fantastic value for money. On our first day in Guilin, the hotel staff already won us over. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family to Guilin in the future.

Room facilities: We booked a twin room with a bathtub. The room was quite spacious, clean, and had a charming, somewhat 'hipster' layout.
Value for money: During the off-season, a room for 300+ RMB felt like great value for money.
Location and transport: It's very close to Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, Li Zongren's Residence, Jingjiang Prince City, and East and West Alleys. If you like walking, you can get to them all in about ten minutes, or you can rent shared e-bikes. The staff were all very enthusiastic and friendly.
Room view: The view from our room was of a hospital, which was the only downside. However, the excellent service made me overlook this minor flaw.
Service: Highly recommend! We truly felt at home. Firstly, I was traveling with two children and was already a bit tired from their boundless energy. When we arrived at the front desk, they taught the kids how to make wellness hammers. In the evenings, they would bring us sweet soup, and at breakfast, there was a dedicated auntie making coffee for us, truly achieving 'coffee freedom'! Thumbs up!
I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Guilin. It's fantastic!
I've always noticed this hotel was fully booked, so I finally decided to try it out on my way through. There were a lot of people checking in, but the process was surprisingly fast. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the layout was well-designed. The night light was absolutely fantastic – just enough dim light so it didn't disturb my sleep but also prevented me from fumbling in the dark. The private hot spring tub filled up with hot water in about 5 minutes, which was really impressive. The balcony also had a very handy drying rack. Building A offers beautiful pool views. There were even yogurt and fruit in the fridge. Parking was convenient. The hot spring area itself is huge, and the water is very clean and smooth. No wonder so many retirees love coming here, everyone says the water quality is excellent and clean. Even though there were many people, there are so many hot spring pools spread out over a large area, truly worthy of its 4A scenic area rating. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets had their own unique specialties, with a wide variety of dishes and drinks. The food quality was great. The hot spring area faces a large forest, offering an abundance of negative ions. It truly lives up to its 'Forest Sea' name.

This new Chinese-style mountain-view hotel room is located in Yangshuo, with typical karst peaks and rivers right outside the window, perfectly embodying the saying, 'Guilin's scenery is unrivaled in the world.'
The location is excellent, making it convenient for ordering takeout and getting around.
The private terrace outside the door is equipped with leisure tables and chairs, allowing you to directly enjoy tea, gaze at the mountains, and breathe in the fresh country air outdoors. The view is stunning as soon as you open the window.

Shangri-La Nanning is absolutely fantastic! All guest rooms are located above the 72nd floor, truly making it a 'hotel in the clouds.' My room was even on the highest floor, the 87th. The high floor offered breathtaking city views. The hotel is directly connected to MixC Mall, so shopping, dining, and getting around are incredibly convenient. Jenna's service attitude was excellent – attentive, warm, and thoughtful. The entire service team, including Colin, Aurelia, Lexi, and Elsie, was great and I highly recommend them. When they found out I had an early flight the next day, they kindly offered a complimentary breakfast and had it packed for me in advance – super thoughtful service! I'll definitely be back to stay again. [Rose emoji] Highly recommend!

GGuest UserWe spent two truly relaxing days thanks to the most comfortable bed and pillows in China. My wife and I wanted to book some massages, and at the health club desk, Cici Zhao, Ador Chen, and the English-speaking staff member were extremely kind and professional, answering all our questions and giving us a tour of the facility. Then Kelly and her colleague gave us wonderful massages.
We had the pleasure of having lunch at the Shang Palace restaurant, where the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. All the staff were very helpful.

GGuest UserOur stay was excellent! My mom kept raving about how clean the hotel was, the spacious room, and the great service. We originally booked a room in Building B, but the front desk staff upgraded us to Building A because we had a lot of luggage and my mom is older. Building A has an elevator, which was very convenient. The room had a lovely minimalist, natural wood style – exactly what I like – and a small balcony. The balcony faced the mountains, so the air was fresh, and we could hear birds chirping. My mom and I really enjoyed sitting out there and having tea. There's a huge rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the mountains and the river. The hotel is super close to West Street, about a 30-meter walk, but despite West Street being bustling, the hotel itself was very quiet. I'd definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends. Overall, a fantastic experience! It's also very close to all the surrounding scenic spots.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic, with views of the Yangshuo Ten-Mile Gallery from our room window. There's a pier less than a ten-minute walk away where you can easily take a bamboo raft ride, or you can borrow the hotel's bicycles to ride along the road and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The hotel butlers were incredibly attentive and accommodating, making our family trip much more relaxed. The hotel's Chinese breakfast featured local specialty rice noodles, along with many other nutritious and abundant options, and the Basque cheesecake at afternoon tea was also delicious. Our booking included a photoshoot experience with Ethan Travel Photography; both the makeup artist and photographer were excellent. Even with the rain, the photos captured a misty beauty while full of ethnic charm. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Yangshuo!

GGuest UserFrom the hotel, it's about a 3-5 minute walk to Doubao, where you'll find lots of delicious snacks. The location is quiet yet convenient, and the environment is pleasant. The hotel's own restaurant is ranked number one on food lists. We ordered the sour and spicy chicken and stir-fried beef with sour pea shoots. My husband, who usually doesn't eat Luosifen, surprisingly loved the sour and spicy chicken, though it's a shame we only got to eat there once. The picture shows the parting gift they gave us when we left – it had delicious osmanthus cakes and small souvenirs, which was very thoughtful. The real scenery outside is much more beautiful than in this picture; it's right by the Li River, perfect for taking photos.
GGuest UserI stayed in a 5th-floor room with a spacious balcony. Standing there, I had a panoramic view of the sparkling lake and the Sun and Moon Pagodas. In my leisure time, I enjoyed a peaceful moment at the tea bar, savoring tea and the beautiful scenery.
In the morning, I had breakfast at the 8th-floor restaurant. The view was expansive, not only offering a full vista of the pagodas and the lake but also distant views of the rolling green mountains, like a natural scroll painting. It happened to be a light drizzle in the morning, which made the distant mountains look like they were painted with ink, shrouded in mist. The entire scene was like an ink wash painting – a picturesque landscape with an incredibly beautiful artistic conception.

The surrounding environment is lovely, with picturesque fields and stunning views. The food is delicious, and they even have charging stations, which is incredibly convenient. GGuest UserFrom the hotel entrance, you get a direct view of Yuanbao Mountain, famously featured on the 20 RMB banknote. It's also incredibly close to the electric bamboo raft pier. The staff are exceptionally warm and friendly, always quick to help resolve any issues. A big bonus is that the hotel can purchase tickets for local attractions on your behalf, saving you from queuing up yourself. Absolutely fantastic! We'll definitely be back if we get the chance.
GGuest UserI was a guest staying with my 1.5-year-old baby, two elderly parents, and my husband who only joined for meals. I'm very grateful to the owner and staff for their warm service. The hotel's decor and materials are high quality, the in-room amenities are excellent, and the cleanliness is meticulous, making it feel almost as comfortable as home.
Because of the rain, we basically just ate all our meals at the hotel – three main meals and one breakfast. My child is in the transition phase from purees to solid food, so ordering food out is usually quite a hassle. However, the hotel perfectly understood my needs and prepared a mini version of baby noodles.
We checked out in the morning but our high-speed train wasn't until the evening, so we spent most of the afternoon sheltering from the rain in the hotel lobby. My baby rode the wooden horse, watched the goldfish, climbed the stairs, read picture books, and played with toys. I have to say, the hotel has so many props that it kept my baby entertained for three or four hours! 😂 During this time, I saw the owner constantly handling various personalized requests from guests, and also frequently checking on my baby's safety – they worked incredibly hard. Upon departure, they even offered airport/station drop-off service and complimentary fruit.
To sum it up, this hotel essentially provides everything you need for a trip, except for tourist attractions themselves. I wish the owner's hotel continued success.
As a suggestion for consideration, if the space and cost are suitable, you might think about expanding into travel photography and costume/makeup services. After all, on rainy days, many people don't want to change clothes in those roadside shops, and the hotel's environment is much better.
