Seriously, who gets it? My stay at the Wyndham Garden Liuzhou absolutely maximized my travel happiness!đ The authentic Liuzhou river snail noodles on the 13th floor were amazing! The sour bamboo shoots were flavorful, and you could add beef and duck feet. No need to queue outside; I savored the authentic Liuzhou flavor right in my room.đ The river view + musical fountain view was incredible! The coffee buffet and scenic afternoon tea on the 13th floor allowed me to enjoy the Liujiang River while I ate. In the evening, the 12th-floor bar's special cocktails faced the musical fountain directly, creating the perfect tipsy atmosphere!đ¸ The travel photography offered by the hotel was fantastic!I chose a Miao ethnic costume, and the makeup and styling were incredibly detailed. The photos turned out perfectly (100% success rate!), and they even included two retouched photos, saving me a significant amount on a photoshoot!đ The location is super convenient too! It's very close to popular attractions like Ma'anshan Park and Wuxing Pedestrian Street. When I was tired from exploring, I returned to the hotel for a free tea-seed hair treatment provided by the hotelâso relaxing and comfortable! No need for a detailed itinerary; just book this hotel directly!

Weâve travelled all over the world and stayed in everything from budget hotels to some of the most well-known luxury brands, and we can honestly say this was the best hotel weâve ever experienced.
Everything about Liangsu Hotel in Yangshuo exceeded our expectations. The service from the staff was absolutely impeccableâeveryone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It didnât feel forced or âhotel-likeâ at all, just very natural and thoughtful. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special.
The room was something else. Waking up to that view every morning honestly felt unrealâitâs like living inside a painting. The design is beautiful and calming, and every detail in the room felt carefully thought out. Itâs one of those places where you actually look forward to spending time in the room.
One really unique touch we loved was the complimentary 30-minute travel photography session. Itâs such a thoughtful experience, and the setting makes for incredible photosâyouâre basically surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. Itâs a small detail, but it made the stay even more memorable.
The whole hotel has such a peaceful, dreamy atmosphere that makes it really hard to leave. Itâs quiet, scenic, and just feels very special compared to a lot of other places weâve stayed.
Weâve stayed in many âluxuryâ hotels before, but this one stands out because it combines stunning design, nature, and truly genuine service.
Highly, highly recommendâthis place is something special. For us it's more than 5 stars!

I was very satisfied with the hotel I chose this time. Before I arrived, they proactively called to ask if I'd mind the noise from renovations in the adjacent building during the day. Since I was out all day, it wasn't an issue.
The breakfast was exactly as shown in the promotional pictures â excellent ambiance and a wide variety of options. You could directly see Fubo Hill and East & West Alleys from there.
The hotel is located right next to a pedestrian street, so there are plenty of food options downstairs. It's only a five-minute walk to the Li River, and if you stroll along the banks, you can see Elephant Trunk Hill. Elephant Trunk Park is just a few minutes' walk away, and entry is free with a QR code reservation. We took a boat tour for 90 RMB per person, enjoying an hour-long scenic cruise. The disembarkation point was also just a few minutes' walk back to the hotel.
Since my high-speed train was at 3 PM and it wasn't too busy today, I was granted a late check-out until 2 PM. Overall, I was very happy with the service.
Minor drawbacks: The toilet and shower are separate, which is great, but they share one door. This means two people can't use them simultaneously. Also, it would be perfect if the shower had a couple more hooks for clothes.
Oh, and the noodle shop diagonally opposite the hotel downstairs is delicious! The owner said it's been open since the 90s, but they'll be closing in July when their lease expires. Definitely worth trying!
Gulong Stay Review âââââ (4/5)
I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting.
The main attraction â the glass bridge and skywalk â was breathtaking (and a little scary if youâre afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes.
One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. Itâs best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds.
Would I come back? Definitely â especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

This hotel in Guilin was the last stop on our Guangxi road trip, and it was by far the most thoughtful in terms of service and amenities throughout our entire journey.
**Facilities:** The hotel isn't huge, but each floor has a washing machine and dryer, and the 5th floor boasts a terrace and an outdoor pool. The rooms are fully equipped with a mini-fridge and an automatic hot water dispenser. The TV even comes with a Tencent Video subscription. The front desk also provides a variety of travel essentials.
**Environment:** The hotel is located within the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area. Just 100 meters south, you'll find a lakeside promenade with beautiful night views. It's also a short 10-20 minute walk to popular attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill and the Sun and Moon Pagodas. Shared e-bikes are also available right outside.
**Hygiene:** The room was clean and tidy, with no signs of mosquitoes or other insects. We had a very comfortable stay.
**Service:** All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly, and their service was attentive without being intrusive. The hotel even offers a laundry and drying service, delivering clean clothes back to your room. Any requests made to the front desk were promptly addressed and fulfilled. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay.

We stayed in a 180-degree river view room, and the Li River was right outside our window. Sitting in the tatami area, sipping tea and enjoying the view was truly delightful. I also loved the coffee shop downstairs; it felt like we were right on the riverbank, with an even more unobstructed view.
The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and patient with both children and seniors. They were quick to respond and efficient in their service. The cormorant fisherman was also super nice and amiable, and the cormorants were so cleverly trained!
Breakfast offered a good variety of items, including many local specialties. It would be even better if the taste could be improved a bit.
As for the location, Fubo Hill is right outside the hotel. Diecai Hill is just a 10-minute walk away. We went to Diecai Hill after breakfast, took our time hiking up, and enjoyed a panoramic view of Guilin. We were back at the hotel by 10:30 AM, had a refreshing shower after the workout â so convenient and effortless! In the evening, we strolled to East-West Alley/Jingjiang Princes' City, which was a comfortable 15-20 minute walk with the kids.

Absolutely loved our family stay! The room was spacious, giving my little one plenty of space to run around without feeling cramped. The bathroom had ample hot water, and all the toiletries were provided. It's super convenient with lots of dining and shopping options nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly towards children, and the place was spotless, making our stay very reassuring. Definitely our top choice for family trips! They even upgraded our room for free, the service was truly exceptional. My child loved it so much we're coming back in a few days!
I really love this hotel. I stumbled upon it during a road trip and ever since, I bring my family here a few times every year. The rooms, environment, service, hot springs, and even the surrounding restaurants are all excellent. My favorite is the large suite; the views are fantastic, and the room itself is great, which is why I always book this room type. However, I have to give a bad review for room 512 in Building B this time.
1. **Awful smell in the hot springs.** After the apartments next to the hotel were developed, the foot traffic increased, and I understand it gets busy during Chinese New Year. However, the facilities and service severely lagged behind. This visit was after the holiday rush, on a weekday. I checked in at 2 PM, went for a swim in the pool, and then headed up the mountain to the hot springs. To my dismay, several pools on the mountainside reeked of a foul odor. It was so bad I didn't even consider getting in. I went straight to the mountaintop, and the area around the mountaintop pool also had this disgusting smell. My mood was instantly ruined, and I went back to my room. Is it reasonable to change the water once a day with normal traffic, and still only once a day when the New Year traffic doubles? The pools already stank by 2 PM. Is this my first day's hotel experience? Don't tell me it's a natural smell from the hot springs; I've been here many times, and it's never smelled like this, not even the next morning when I went for a dip.
2. **No bath towels.** I came out of the 24-degree pool looking for a bath towel. All the way to the hot stone therapy area on the mountaintop, there wasn't a single dry towel. Finally, I saw a transport cart going up the mountain, so I went over and spoke to the driver. I ended up moving a stack of towels from the cart myself and putting them in the towel cabinet before I could get one. If this were a child, they would have caught a cold by then.
3. **Lack of service.** In the changing rooms and the mountaintop food court, all the tables and chairs were piled with garbage, and used towels were strewn everywhere. Absolutely no one was cleaning up. I finally found a clean table at the very edge of the newly opened food court, closest to area C. All my good spirits were gone. During holidays, there's heavy foot traffic, and fewer staff. For customers, the room rate is higher, but the experience is significantly worse.
4. **Outdated room facilities.** With my mood already ruined and unable to enjoy the hot springs, I could only go back to the room. My child wanted to watch TV, but the TV was as slow and laggy as something from 20 years ago. It's been 26 years, seriously! A smart TV doesn't cost much. Even the staff admitted they don't watch TVs like that. Then my wife needed to charge her phone, and both bedside outlets were broken, showing signs of having short-circuited. This is a serious fire and electrocution hazard. When I went to shower, the showerhead sprayed water everywhere, drenching me. And in such a large suite, one Wi-Fi hotspot couldn't even cover it. The Wi-Fi signal was completely dead near the hot spring pool and the toilet. This is a 1700 RMB room, and over 2000 RMB during holidays. If it were a 300 RMB guesthouse, I wouldn't complain, but for a 2000 RMB room, are these facilities acceptable?

The location is quiet yet convenient for getting around, not too noisy but still easily accessible.
**Cleanliness**: Very clean.
**Ambiance**: The overall environment feels high-quality and worth the price. It's not like those regular guesthouses that jack up prices to over a thousand during peak season but have cheap decor.
**Breakfast**: A rich variety of options, the rice noodles were delicious, and the corn juice was great.
**Service**: Everyone was excellent, always greeting you when they saw you.
Highly recommend.

Facilities: The facilities are very new and comprehensive, and they even have robots delivering meals, which is incredibly thoughtful.
Cleanliness: It's very clean, which gives you peace of mind.
Environment: It's located right above MixC, making it convenient to go anywhere.
Service: Ms. Elva was patient and meticulous throughout, explaining everything wonderfully.
Guangxi Specialty âGongwenbaoâ Welcome Drink: So delicious! A must-try when in Nanning!
This trip was for a business trip. I stayed at the same place for the working days, but I decided to extend my stay by one more day before heading back, wanting to experience Nanning's tallest hotel. Shangri-La is a well-established brand; the first 5-star hotel I ever stayed in was a Shangri-La. I was pleasantly surprised this time after booking when a staff member, Ms. Elva, directly escorted me from the front desk to the Horizon Club lounge for VIP reception. She also upgraded my room type, giving me a more expansive view and greater comfort. During the reception, she gave me a Guangxi âGongwenbaoâ fruit tea and a bag of Luosifen! After entering the room, she meticulously explained how to use everything, which was very thoughtful and responsible!
It's a pity that I caught a cold and had a fever the day before checking in this time. Besides ordering takeout once and having breakfast the next morning, I didn't get to properly enjoy the other facilities, which is a bit of a regret. However, having regrets means there's a next time to make it perfect. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the near future! đ

Very Good
GGuest UserVery friendly employers that speak very well English. They helped us and were very welcoming. The room was not so spacious as we thought although we got an upgrade.
We really donât like the carpet in the hotel. And there is no elevator. This hotel has also a very well known and popular restaurant downstairs. So you could smell the cooking from early on in your room. Also the extreme noises from the guests and women working there. But in the evening it is very quiet. The smell from the bathroom is not so nice.
AAbuzabi-kakaMy first time in Guilin, and my ten-day stay here has been wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuine care from every single staff member.
My day always started pleasantly with the buffet breakfast at 'Li CafĂŠ' on the first floor. They offer not only a rich international feast but also authentic Guilin rice noodles and other local specialties. Nick Liang and his team are always hands-on, ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly.
Disy Chen from the Horizon Club is incredibly enthusiastic, always anticipating guests' needs, and her attention to detail makes you feel like family.
Anna Quan from housekeeping on the 7th floor exemplifies Shangri-La's meticulous service. Her thoughtful and detailed care makes the room a truly relaxing sanctuary.
Concierge staff proactively open doors and handle luggage, always with a genuine smile, as if welcoming a family member home from a long journey. The service is seamless.
Our hotel boasts a massive 'Twin Camphor Garden' right by the river. The gardening staff not only maintain the plants beautifully but also greet guests with a warm smile, making you feel very welcome.
The back garden also features a mini zoo, which is cleaned meticulously every morning with no unpleasant odors, showing the hotel's care for every little creature.
If you're looking for a warm and genuinely touching place to stay in Guilin, this is absolutely the ideal choice.

GGuest UserOur stay was excellent! My mom kept raving about how clean the hotel was, the spacious room, and the great service. We originally booked a room in Building B, but the front desk staff upgraded us to Building A because we had a lot of luggage and my mom is older. Building A has an elevator, which was very convenient. The room had a lovely minimalist, natural wood style â exactly what I like â and a small balcony. The balcony faced the mountains, so the air was fresh, and we could hear birds chirping. My mom and I really enjoyed sitting out there and having tea. There's a huge rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the mountains and the river. The hotel is super close to West Street, about a 30-meter walk, but despite West Street being bustling, the hotel itself was very quiet. I'd definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends. Overall, a fantastic experience! It's also very close to all the surrounding scenic spots.

GGuest UserBooked Yangshuo with my bestie, and this hotel was a delightful surprise!
đ Pool: The infinity pool with mountain views was absolutely stunning. Even though it was a bit chilly in March and we didn't swim, taking photos by the pool was beautiful enough.
đˇ Photos: The hotel offers free Zhuang ethnic costumes, and there's a good variety. We changed into two different outfits and spent two hours taking photos in the common areas.
đ° Afternoon Tea: The complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in was generous, and both the cake and coffee were good.
đ Transportation: The hotel is located within the Ten-Mile Gallery, and getting a taxi in and out was quite convenient. It's about a 15-minute drive to West Street. You can also rent electric scooters near the hotel; during the off-season, it was 30 yuan for a day.
Service: Our butler asked for our arrival time in advance and helped us secure a higher floor room. After checking out, we stored our luggage to go rafting. When we came back to pick up our bags, the front desk even gave us some bottled water, saying it was for our journey â very thoughtful.
The only minor complaint: the afternoon tea tableware wasn't very cohesive, so it didn't look super refined in photos, haha. But the taste was good.
Overall, highly recommended, good value for money.

SSeet-HutterThis hotel directly overlooks the picturesque Li River where you can witness the fishermen's bamboo rafts with their cormorants anchored to the promenade. It's a popular spot for tourists in their hired period costumes trying to achieve the most photogenic shot of Yangshuo's world-renowned karst mountains. The hotel's roof terrace on the fifth floor offers uninterrupted vistas of this stunning landscape. The hotel's buffet breakfast is great value for its price and comes highly recommended. The hotel rooms are spacious and even those which face inwards look out to a leafy courtyard with pretty fountains. The staff, from the chambermaids to the lady at the guest laundry, were all super helpful. Special thanks to Maya/沍沍 at the front desk who devised an excellent itinerary for our private excursion with a driver. Equally outstanding was Lacey/ćŠĺ, also at the reception. She was very accommodating to the multiple requests of hotel guests, and in a truly earnest rather than perfunctory manner. Both of them are assets to the service industry. The hotel's attention to detail in terms of its interior design is laudable : the concept of Yangshuo's landscape is visually captured throughout the hotel - from the nameplate at its entrance to the signage of the room numbers, they all feature symbolic silhouettes of those iconic karst mountains and the fishermen with their cormorants. One suggestion to the hotel's management is for them to provide an English language news channel on their television : in view of the increasing foreign clientele, it is indeed glaring that even their national CGTN news channel is not available.
GGuest UserChoosing Puyin Hotel was definitely the right decision. First off, the location is fantastic, right by Shan Lake, part of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, and directly next to the Sun and Moon Pagodas. From the hotel, it's just a few minutes' walk to the bustling Zhengyang Street, where you'll find all sorts of delicious food and souvenirs. Dongxi Lane and the lake cruise pier are also within easy walking distance. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and felt quite new. The service was warm and attentive, and we even received complimentary fruit daily. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

We went for a walk and realized how easy it was to find, with hotel signs at every intersection. The surrounding scenery is definitely worth exploring. We booked a family room which was spacious and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a beautiful mountain view. There was also a small tent, which our child absolutely loved! GGuest UserThe hotel's location just a few hundred meters from the attractions is incredibly convenient. The staff were very enthusiastic, and even though we had a small hiccup, it was perfectly resolved. The hotel offers free parking and free breakfast. The only downside is that the decor is a bit dated, but the service and cleanliness are good, it's easy to get around, and it's great value for money. A special shout-out to the landlady, her service attitude was superb!
