This is a wonderful Suzhou-style garden hotel, directly connected to the Pan Gate ancient scenic area. You could easily spend half a day exploring both the hotel grounds and the scenic area, as the views are stunning both day and night. The interior is spacious and grand, with a stylish Chinese design and decor. Chinese culture, including ancient paintings and other artworks, is beautifully integrated throughout the common areas, hallways, restaurants, and guest rooms. The views from the windows are picturesque.
The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, spa, and children's play area, as well as both Chinese and Western restaurants. The property itself is vast, featuring a classic Suzhou garden with pavilions, terraces, and quaint bridges scattered throughout. Everything is meticulously maintained, clean, and bright. From the front desk to the cafe and room staff, everyone is polite, warm, and highly professional, making you feel right at home! The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection. This is my second stay here, and I highly recommend it!
Thank you to the hotel for your excellent service. I wish you continued success and many more guests!

Couples photoshoot (including 5 retouched digital photos): The photographer from Xiaowan Travel Photography is a master at capturing moments! The photos are full of emotion, with accurate color reproduction – every single one is profile-picture worthy, highly recommend!
Regarding the room facilities, I stayed in Building No. 1, Shoufang Garden, a villa that has hosted presidents and leaders. I thought that even though it opened in 2016, the facilities would still be decent. However, I was disappointed. The shower drain in my room barely worked, leaving a pool of water on the floor after showering, which felt uncomfortable.
Also, the toilet seat was quite uncomfortable; my bottom started to ache a bit. 🥲
I hope they make improvements. After all, the deluxe king room I booked in Building No. 1 cost over 800 yuan, a price where luxury chain hotels would offer far superior facilities.
However, the service and environment were absolutely top-notch, which is definitely worth praising. It is the famous Ying賓館, after all, haha! Every step in the garden reveals a beautiful scene, and the complimentary shuttle service makes getting around very convenient.
We also visited the complimentary Hongqiao Fang Hot Springs ♨️ with my parents, my mother-in-law, my daughter, and my husband. Only my husband could really handle it, haha, it was just too hot inside! Even Shanghai's Tangliande isn't this intense. 😱 You feel like you're going to faint from the heat! Then, as soon as you enter, you have to change shoes. 😂 While it's the correct procedure, it gets a bit smelly when there are many people, haha 😂😂😂😂😂. Plus, aside from the bathing area, it's not very big and doesn't offer as much to do as Shanghai's Tangliande.

[Attentive Butler Service] The day before our arrival, the butler proactively called and messaged us on WeChat to inquire about our needs, providing transportation guides, information on hotel kids' activities, and more. Upon arrival, they helped guide us to our room, carried our luggage, and even provided children's toiletries. The service was incredibly thoughtful.
[Unique Hot Pot Hot Spring] The water temperature in the hot pot pool was just right. Soaking in it made me feel completely relaxed, especially my shoulders and neck – the soreness instantly eased. There were also parent-child facilities and a children's playground for changing, which the kids loved.
The petting zoo had ponies, swans, alpacas, peacocks, raccoons, squirrels, and more. There was also a small sightseeing train nearby. A special shout-out to the staff who thoughtfully stopped the train when we encountered a peacock.
It was a fantastic trip, and I've already recommended it to my friends.

Super satisfied with our family trip! Jinling Hotel has a great location and attentive service. They provide a full range of kids' amenities, the rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is delicious, and the pool is fantastic. It made traveling with kids easy and stress-free. This well-established five-star hotel is truly reliable and I highly recommend it for families! The New Year's Eve program was excellent, and the service from every staff member was incredibly thoughtful. The experience at the nearby Ritz was honestly speechless (in a bad way), so I highly recommend Jinling Hotel. Both my child and the elders approved, and since it was my child's birthday, they even sent a cake. For our next short trip to Nanjing, we will definitely choose Jinling Hotel again.

My stay in Suzhou this time was absolutely fantastic, so I just had to leave a heartfelt review! The hotel has a Japanese-inspired design, simple and clean, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was tidy and comfortable, making for a truly relaxing stay. The location is also superb, with everything you need nearby. There are tons of dining options right outside, making it super convenient for eating out and shopping. But what really warmed my heart was the service! The overall experience was top-notch, perfect whether you're traveling for leisure or business. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Suzhou!
The hotel room was cozy and elegant, meticulously maintained and spotless. The complimentary parent-child toiletries set was a thoughtful touch, making it safe and comfortable for kids to use. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was incredibly satisfying. But the real highlight was the view – absolutely stunning from both the observation deck and our room. Looking out from above, the entire city of Nanjing unfolds before you: the shimmering waters of Xuanwu Lake and the ancient grandeur of Jiming Temple are all within sight. Every step reveals a new scenic beauty, brimming with the gentle charm and poetic essence of Nanjing.

New hotel, friendly staff but is going to be outdated soon. Bad sound proofing , lots of drunk Chinese people shouting in the corridor at night time.
The breakfast variety is so poor for Europeans. Please teach your staff in the restaurant to cook sunny side up eggs and refill the dishes without reminding.
Overall, it’s not “real Hilton” experience.

Staying here for my trip was definitely the right choice! The hotel has a serene environment, and getting around is super convenient – it's just a few minutes' walk to the scenic spots. The room decor is warm and elegant, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The facilities are comprehensive, and being a newly opened hotel, the soundproofing is also quite good. Screen mirroring on the TV and high-speed WiFi worked flawlessly. The cleanliness was impeccable; the towels and bath towels were undamaged and odor-free. The front desk service was warm and attentive; they proactively helped with my luggage during check-in and even gave me a small souvenir upon departure, which was such a thoughtful touch! The price is also very reasonable. This experience truly offered great value for money. I've saved this place and will definitely stay here again next time!

A very good stay so far and it was made exceptional by two outstanding staff members.
刘玉 at Reception provided a wonderfully warm and offering excellent local tips. Her helpful attitude continued throughout my stay.
夏幸福 (Breakfast & Room Service) was incredibly attentive and cheerful. Her proactive and thoughtful service, whether in the dining room or delivering a meal, consistently enhanced my experience.
They are truly the hotel's greatest asset. In fact, their excellent service is the reason I chose to extend my stay from an initial 3 nights to 10 nights, and perhaps even further.

I booked the cheapest room type, which was a semi-basement room. When I opened the window, I saw a solid wall, but I could still see a small patch of sky. The hot spring pool was like a large bathtub, located indoors.
‼️Tips: I thought Ctrip had the lowest price, but I was ripped off: **there's a group purchase deal available, but you need to book one day in advance. On weekends, there's an additional 200 RMB charge, but even with the surcharge, it's still over 200 RMB cheaper than Ctrip.**
Hygiene: The water glasses and coffee cups had obvious stains.
Service: When I arrived, they wouldn't let me check in before 3 PM. However, on my check-out day, around 8 AM, the housekeeping staff were already cleaning the vacated room next door. They were making a lot of noise, clattering things around, and talking loudly to each other. I was woken up by the noise, which made for a very bad experience.
The hotel is very close to Slender West Lake, just a few minutes' walk away, which is great.

GGuest UserNow, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here.
Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around.
In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room.
When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture?
Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc.
Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us.
These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.
CChifanpeiyinliaoThis hotel is definitely a great place to walk your kids! The ecology is very good! We even saw a hare! But maybe it’s because it’s outdoors! It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high!
The service attitude at the front desk is very good! Very eager to help!
The road to the swimming pool is not easy to walk! Must be very careful! It's easy to fall! The locker room environment needs cleaning!
The interior of the room is clean and acceptable!

MM224225****It's absolutely no surprise this B&B has been crowned the most beautiful in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town for several years running! The owner's design perfectly blends ancient charm with modern comfort; every single corner is a picturesque delight, offering endless photo opportunities. What truly touched my heart was the proprietress's exceptional kindness. She welcomed us with refreshing watermelon and snacks right when we arrived, and even had more thoughtfully prepared for us after a long day of exploring. The beautifully designed courtyard, complete with fish, turtles, and a swimming pool, adds so much character. It genuinely offers a unique and enchanting take on the classic beauty of a Jiangnan water town.
GGuest UserReturning to Suzhou's old city, I checked into the Kimpton Bamboo Grove Hotel, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. It absolutely deserves a five-star rating. This boutique hotel, converted from an old establishment, is a brilliant addition to the accommodation options in the old city of Gusu, and the value for money is excellent. The hotel is ideally located in a tranquil spot amidst the bustling old town, making travel incredibly convenient. After dinner, strolling through the courtyard and outer pathways was delightful; the scenery was refreshing and pleasant. The front desk and butler service were meticulous and attentive, with smiles throughout the check-in process, which was efficient and smooth. A big thank you to Amber for arranging a balcony room on the second floor. Although the space wasn't exceptionally large, the overall design was simple yet elegant, incorporating local Jiangnan elements, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room followed a 'small yet complete' concept, with all basic living facilities readily available, clear functional zoning, and a well-placed bathtub with a sliding door design that ensured excellent privacy. The bathrobe material was also very satisfying, super comfortable. Breakfast was exquisite and delicious, a fusion of Chinese and Western cuisine that also offered local flavors, with a wide selection of cheeses and fresh fruits – all very much to my taste. The hotel caters to all ages, with young people taking photos and older guests leisurely chatting. While in Suzhou, one can hear the melodious Wu soft speech and Kunqu opera, admire delicate Su embroidery and Kesi silk with their fingertips – every step offers a poetic glimpse of Jiangnan. The ancient city is a tranquil haven amidst the bustle, where everyday life intertwines with artistic flair. From the meditative bells of Hanshan Temple to the warm local charm of the alleyways, traditional elegance and modern sophistication coexist perfectly here. It truly lives up to its reputation as a paradise on earth. For a holiday in Suzhou's old city, the Kimpton Bamboo Grove Hotel is certainly a worthy choice. Butler Amber was very thoughtful and excellent.
GGuest UserAs an international traveler I felt very welcome. Only one of the receptionists spoke English but we could communicate with a translator app with all of the staff as needed. There were snacks and drinks in the room as well as purified (warm) water and after check in we got evening soup. Breakfast is partially self service and partially served, for which a selection has to be made at the reception the day before. There is a chinese and western breakfast option. The hotel is a beautiful old building with all the most modern facilities you could need. I dare to say the room was nicer in real life than on photos. The area around the hotel is quite busy and the traffic is not ideal but it is very central for the endless shopping streets in the area as well as many of the attractions.

Last month, from December 16-17, I mistakenly booked an Executive King Room at Suning International Hotel. The first night, costing over 800 yuan, was forfeited because I arrived too late. I thought I would have to bear the loss myself, but customer service representative Amy proactively called me and helped me apply for a 14-day extension. As the new deadline approached, I found there were no rooms available due to a holiday, so she extended it again for me, following up patiently and cheerfully from afar. Her meticulousness and professionalism truly embody ”customer first” in every interaction. I am grateful to Suning for fostering such a warm team, and I wish Amy a prosperous New Year.
I have already rebooked and can check in with peace of mind. I also wish to share this trust with every traveler. Suning is made warm by you, and travel is made beautiful by you.

GGuest UserWe booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!
XXiaoyouchengThe bed was massive, felt like 2.4 meters! The hotel environment is super nice, very clean, and luxurious. There were also many international guests. There's an outlet mall nearby, within walking distance, but I didn't go. The styles and brands weren't that impressive. I chose this hotel because I was here for Brother Sheng's concert, and it was close by. It was really good!
