Pan Pacific Suzhou is one of those rare hotels where the stay itself feels like part of the sightseeing. It combines Suzhou’s classical garden charm with modern comforts in a way that feels both tranquil and indulgent. Garden resort setting The hotel is built in the style of a classical Suzhou garden, with courtyards, covered walkways, sculpted bridges, ponds and pavilions spread over expansive grounds. Walking around the property can feel like wandering through a private scenic park, with many rooms and paths looking directly onto landscaped greenery and traditional architecture. Direct access to Panmen Scenic Area A standout perk is its location right beside the historic Panmen Scenic Area, home to ancient gates, pagodas and canals. Guests typically enjoy complimentary or convenient access via a dedicated entrance, turning morning strolls or evening walks among the illuminated walls and waterways into a daily ritual rather than a rushed excursion. Rooms and views Most rooms offer either serene garden vistas or views over Panmen’s walls, waterways and even Ruiguang Pagoda from some angles. Inside, the rooms pair contemporary comforts like high‑speed internet and workspaces with warm, subtly traditional decor, so you get a sense of place without sacrificing modern convenience. Location and convenience While it feels like a secluded resort, the hotel sits in a prime Suzhou district with easy access to key attractions, shopping and dining. Suzhou Railway Station is only a short drive away and the nearest metro station is about a five‑minute walk, making it straightforward to reach popular gardens and business areas without losing that peaceful “garden retreat” base.

If you visit Yangzhou, this is the only hotel I recommend anyone to stay at. It has the gorgeous Chinese garden that spreads out for miles. I stayed in building 3 (the only building offered on the internet when I booked). The hotel is connected (walk over the bridge) to the Slender Lake. Staff were very courteous and helpful. My room was tidied up everyday. Breakfast was not include in the room rate but there is a Starbuck nearby where I had my morning coffee and pastry. The room has a balcony, overlooking some trees and other building. Most of the restaurants/eateries were closed (probably due to low season). However, there are a lot of local restaurants in the old town area and Guan Dong Street; it costs about 10 Yuans to take a taxi to get there.

Best location if you wanted to visit Slender Lake as the entrance is just across the road. There are restaurants to the left of the resort as well if opting to dine out. The resort is quite big, with separate buildings housing different types of rooms. Well catered for families with kids. We got the room with a hot spring inside so we didn’t visit the public one.

I came to Nanjing with my parents and our stay at the Jinling Hotel was fantastic. The service from Ya Shi Xin Yi was incredibly thoughtful and attentive; they responded to all our needs immediately, showing great care and consideration. The housekeeping service was also very considerate, leaving a little note and placing clean towels under our belongings. This time, we extended our stay for two nights and got to experience both the Jinling and Asia Pacific Towers! The Asia Pacific Tower is newer, while the Jinling Tower, though a bit older, is still spacious and comfortable. All four of our rooms were on high floors, offering expansive, unobstructed views, and the night scenery was particularly outstanding. The breakfast was also rich and delicious. Moreover, the hotel is located in Xinjiekou, right outside you can see Dr. Sun Yat-sen's statue, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling with their parents!

The hotel's location is great. It's a 15-minute drive from Suzhou Station, perfect for business trips, and also close to various attractions. The rooms are spacious with a good wet/dry separation in the bathroom. It offers decent value for money, making it a good choice whether you're traveling for leisure or business.

Facilities: Average Cleanliness: Average. I understand not being able to open windows on the 71st floor, but the room was so dry my nose bled and my throat hurt, which was very uncomfortable. They really should add a humidifier. Because it was so dry, any movement in the room stirred up a lot of dust. This isn't a problem with the cleaning staff, but rather the extreme dryness of the room. Environment: The view outside the window is indeed nice, very impressive. Service: Average 1. We booked a room type that should have been around the 66th floor, but we were upgraded to the 71st floor, which I really appreciate. 2. I booked the room through Ctrip, and Ctrip indicated that my credit was sufficient and no deposit was needed. However, at check-in, I was still required to pay an additional 1111 as a deposit, which contradicted what Ctrip said. I completely understand paying a deposit, but why was it 1111, then became 1110.98? 3. When booking, it showed complimentary welcome fruit, but we didn't receive any. I always stay in five-star hotels when traveling, and welcome fruit is always placed directly in the room; I've never had to ask for it like this. And I only remembered and asked about it on the second night, and then they told me I had to go pick it up myself. Summary: The outdoor scenery is beautiful, but the night view has too much reflection on the glass to get a good photo (I used a DJI, and even post-processing couldn't remove it). The third picture is a daytime shot from the 71st floor. Honestly, you can get great photos from the 45th floor (second video), so booking a standard room is sufficient. Especially after seeing the comparison (first video).

New hotel, friendly staff but is going to be outdated soon. Bad sound proofing , lots of drunk Chinese people shouting in the corridor at night time. The breakfast variety is so poor for Europeans. Please teach your staff in the restaurant to cook sunny side up eggs and refill the dishes without reminding. Overall, it’s not “real Hilton” experience.

My business trip stay was absolutely perfect, a completely comfortable experience from check-in to check-out. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's an 8-minute walk to the subway station, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so even returning late feels safe. The front desk staff member was super efficient; checking my information and getting my room card took no more than 3 minutes. He also proactively offered to store my luggage and recommended some local specialty snack shops. The room was even more spacious than pictured, and the modern minimalist decor felt very high-quality. The biggest surprise was the soundproofing – despite being on a street, I couldn't hear any traffic noise at all. The bedding was as soft as clouds, and I slept soundly all night. The bathroom had excellent wet and dry separation, hot water was instant and powerful, and the toiletries had a very refreshing scent. The value for money is truly unbeatable; to enjoy such service and facilities at this price is incredible. I've already recommended it to my colleagues and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in this city!

Business trip to Xuzhou with foreign colleagues, stayed in Hyatt, reception is very professional and kind, hotel has fantastic view, Breakfast was very good, the chefs made lots of fresh food (they even made homemade “油条”, looks tempting). Services is good, fresh food, coffee can be delivered to your table.

My whole stay at this one of the best ones i’ve ever stayed. Staff are all very friendly and approachable. And almost all of them are courteous towards me and my family. One of the Staffer, Wan Bin, was meticulous in handling my case and handled it professionally. Overall, the stay, food and and hotel staff is very helpful. This stay is highly recommended.
