This hotel is absolutely amazing, probably the best value for money in the world! I usually don't like taking photos, but I couldn't stop snapping pictures at Wu Palace – every shot was perfect. I can't stop thinking about it; it's a must-stay in Suzhou, truly fantastic!

The hotel's location is excellent, and the city view from the room is fantastic. However, it is an older hotel, so the facilities are quite dated. Things like dim lighting and the elevator not showing the current floor are understandable. But the service was really subpar. It was advertised that they have robot service, but all food deliveries had to be picked up from a locker downstairs. What exactly is the robot service used for then? Also, toilet paper wasn't replenished in the bathroom. My booking confirmation stated that breakfast was included, and I had even double-checked it on the platform beforehand. Yet, when I went to the restaurant, I was told my room type didn't include breakfast. I had to call the front desk to confirm, and the result was still no breakfast. So, is this a platform issue or a hotel management problem? Honestly, this was the worst service experience I've had in years.

My stay at the Furong Garden, Building 8, at Yangzhou Xiyuan Hotel was fantastic overall. As hotels with ”Xiyuan” (meaning 'guesthouse' or 'reception hall') in their name often are, the environment truly lived up to its reputation. The garden landscape is beautiful; it felt like I was living right in a park, and morning and evening strolls were incredibly pleasant. Building 8 is relatively new, with elegant and sophisticated decor. The room was spacious and bright, the hygiene details were well taken care of, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to a very peaceful night's sleep. The service also deserves praise. After booking, the staff were all very warm and professional, and any requests were generally met promptly. The breakfast selection was rich, and the local Yangzhou specialties at Quyuan were very authentic and definitely worth trying. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Slender West Lake. It offers both the tranquility of a garden hotel and the convenience of easy access. If you're visiting Yangzhou for travel or a family vacation, Building 8 comes highly recommended. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Yangzhou.

The location is fantastic, with a bustling view of Xinjiekou right outside the window. What impressed me most was the service – friendly, polite, and incredibly responsive. The dining options exceeded expectations; the breakfast was diverse with Nanjng specialties, and the formal meals were exquisitely prepared. The room was well-maintained, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience. The service was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and responsive. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food quality was surprisingly good. I especially want to commend the Jia Restaurant on the 56th floor of the Asia Pacific Tower. On our first night, we tried their mini hotpot, and the two single sets were more than enough for two people. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, promptly helping with drinks, clearing plates, and cooking items. We also loved the buffet selection! We had such a happy meal! The next morning, we debated between the ground floor breakfast buffet and the 56th-floor one, but decided to go back to the 56th floor – and we were so glad we did! It was another wonderful experience, feeling right at home. There were many dishes available in the morning. For instance, a waitress kindly cut the Jinling large meat bun for us so we could each have half, which we really appreciated. A big thank you to CY and MYF from Jia Restaurant for their attentive service. The view was also excellent; we could see the beautiful city from our seats. All in all, I highly recommend trying it! I truly appreciate such thoughtful service! We booked afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge, which featured a beautiful birdcage design. The happy hour's light dinner, part of the executive benefits, was also delicious! I had previously celebrated a birthday at Meiyuan, so this time, I decided to try the Pacific Western Restaurant before checking out, which also offered a beautiful setting and attentive service. I feel like I'll be back very soon just for the delicious food.

The room was excellent, and the private hot spring felt wonderfully smooth! A really great experience overall. The only downside was the travel photography service. They were constantly pushing sales and wouldn't let you think independently when choosing photos. Eventually, they resorted to high-pressure tactics because other guests were waiting. Thankfully, the travel photography customer service was good and handled the after-sales issues later. Many hotels offer travel photography, but they don't usually push sales so aggressively. The hotel's scenery is fantastic, with half of it overlooking Slender West Lake. I'll definitely come back!

I came to Wuxi for a marathon and specifically chose a hotel close to the subway station for convenience. It was quite a pleasant surprise to see the hotel building just a short walk from the subway exit. It's very close to the subway station and looks quite grand. The hotel seems to be a bit older, but it's been renovated in the past couple of years. The overall hardware facilities are decent (though the TV is small and unclear, and a cabinet door hinge was broken). What truly deserves praise is the front desk staff. Although they are older than the young staff you find at other hotels, their service attitude is excellent. Their language and gestures are very professional. For example, for something as small as taking the elevator, a staff member would see you coming and press the elevator for you in advance. In the evening, an uncle on duty saw that the four elevators were taking a long time to arrive, so he proactively came to check if there was a problem. Then, he would see which elevator was about to arrive, call everyone over to wait there, and reassure them. These are small things, but they were handled exceptionally well, leaving guests feeling very satisfied. The hotel's screens displayed a welcome message for marathon runners, which was also a very thoughtful touch. The room had a bathtub, and I asked the front desk for a disposable bathtub liner to use. After finishing the marathon on Sunday and returning to the hotel, the lobby manager warmly greeted me with ”You've worked hard!” and quickly helped me press the elevator. Many runners ordered takeout for lunch, and since there weren't enough robots, several front desk staff personally delivered the meals to the rooms.

This state guesthouse-style garden hotel, blending historical charm with natural serenity, offers an excellent overall experience, rich in local character, and is definitely a worthwhile choice for any visit to Wuxi. The hotel is situated on the former site of Jiangnan University, imbuing it with a profound cultural heritage. Its stately manor-like architecture immediately envelops you in a rich atmosphere. The interior design seamlessly merges Nanyang, European, and Chinese styles, creating a harmonious and engaging aesthetic without any discord. The most striking feature is the bright and airy atrium, where several towering palm trees are particularly eye-catching, forming a distinctive and memorable focal point. The hotel also subtly incorporates magnolia motifs throughout, from elegantly shaped magnolia chandeliers and intricate magnolia patterns on the floors to unique magnolia gift boxes in the rooms. These thoughtful details enhance the overall ambiance. The backyard is another gem, incredibly spacious and filled with lush greenery, complemented by wide, manicured lawns. Strolling through it after a meal, with a gentle breeze rustling through the foliage, fills you with a sense of vitality. This leisurely walk helps shed travel fatigue, allowing you to fully appreciate the unique tranquility and peace of Jiangnan. Furthermore, the hotel boasts an exceptional location, close to Wuxi's main attractions like Meiyuan Garden, Yuantouzhu Scenic Area, and Huishan Ancient Town, making travel and sightseeing incredibly convenient, whether by car or for short excursions. Although the hotel has been open and renovated for some time, its hardware maintenance far exceeded expectations. Both guest rooms and public areas are well-maintained, showing no signs of age. The hotel's swimming pool deserves special mention; its surrounding scenery, natural light, and optimal water temperature are all perfectly controlled, offering both comfortable swimming and beautiful views outside the window – an absolutely superb experience. Regarding dining, the Jichangxuan Chinese restaurant was a delightful surprise! I initially worried that the local cuisine, being on the sweeter side, might not suit my palate. However, after tasting, I found every dish to be exquisite, with perfectly balanced flavors that completely dispelled my concerns about sweet food. My taste buds were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast, on the other hand, met the standard of a state guesthouse – reliable and satisfying, suitable for everyday dining needs. Overall, the hygiene was excellent. The entire hotel was clean and tidy. The carpeted guest rooms were spotless, free from any stains or odors, and the balcony was remarkably clean with almost no dust accumulation. The only minor drawback was that some of the ponds in the backyard were neglected, with algae covering the surface and cloudy water. If these could be properly cleaned and maintained, the overall scenery would be even more impressive. In conclusion, the Wuxi Taihu Hotel, as a distinctive local state guesthouse, combines the poetic tranquility of a Jiangnan garden with a refined, multi-styled elegance. Its well-maintained facilities, commendable service, and dining make it an excellent choice. The few minor flaws do not detract from the overall stay. For those visiting Wuxi who desire a peaceful and elegant travel experience, this hotel is definitely worth staying at.

The stay experience was particularly good, the front desk checked in quickly, and the service was gentle and polite. The room was very clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the sound insulation was good, and the night was very quiet. The hot water supply is sufficient, the network speed is smooth, the surrounding travel and eating are convenient, the price is very high, and the next business trip will give priority to this one.

We switched from a hotel near the Grand Canal to this one, a classic five-star establishment. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, truly setting a vacation mood. The concierge service was outstanding. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for a trip to Yangzhou; it feels like Daming Temple, Slender West Lake, morning tea, the Ancient City Park, and Yangzhou Banquet are all part of the hotel's amenities. The best part? Soaking in the hot springs after a long day of sightseeing is the most anticipated moment of the trip. We loved it so much that we immediately extended our stay for another night. Highly recommended! For a family of three, getting this level of service, scenery, and amenities for just 200 per person is truly excellent value. It's definitely our top choice for visiting Yangzhou with kids.

My stay at Gusu Li Huamao Hotel was absolutely fantastic, I have to write a glowing review! Even before I arrived, a concierge called to confirm my check-in time and thoughtfully provided information about local transportation and how to get around. This made me feel a warm welcome even before I stepped into the hotel. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was how incredibly clean it was! And I don't mean just superficially tidy; you could genuinely feel that the staff had put a lot of effort into cleaning. From the inside of the refrigerator to the grout lines in the tiles, and even tiny details often overlooked, everything was spotless. The tissues, toothpaste, and toiletries in the room were also of good quality, and all items were neatly arranged without a speck of dust. It made for a very reassuring and comfortable stay. During my stay, any questions I had about the room facilities were promptly and patiently addressed by the staff. We unexpectedly needed a microwave, and the hotel immediately provided one, which was incredibly thoughtful. Furthermore, due to a special circumstance, we needed a late check-out, and the hotel was very understanding and did their best to accommodate us. The hotel's location is also very convenient. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall and plenty of dining options, and most attractions are not far, making getting around very easy. I truly felt at home during this visit, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Suzhou!
