The Marco Polo Wuhan Hotel is ideally situated on Yanjiang Avenue in Jiang'an District, directly opposite Hankou Beach and right next to the renowned Li Huangpi Road. I booked a room on the 27th floor, offering panoramic views of both sides of the Yangtze River, stretching as far as the Second Yangtze River Bridge. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperative during my two-day stay; the river was shrouded in mist, making it impossible to capture clear and stunning photos. The hotel's facilities and services are impeccable. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the dishes prepared in both the Chinese and Western restaurants are excellent and refined. We were particularly delighted with the Western restaurant's waiter-recommended double set menu, which offered a great variety of dishes and exceptional value for money. I stopped over in Wuhan for a night and the accommodation exceeded my expectations. We checked in smoothly with our pet, and there were no additional charges. The hotel did a great job assigning our room, and the soundproofing was excellent. It was the first time my dog slept so soundly outside of our home; she didn't spend the whole night on guard. We kept our dog in a stroller in the public areas. While the hotel is pet-friendly in that it allows pets, there's still room for improvement. For example, the pet bed provided isn't very useful, as most pet owners know that pets won't readily sleep in an unfamiliar bed with unfamiliar scents. Perhaps a pet playpen would be better. Providing pet pads, diapers, and even pheromone sprays for anxiety or flea/tick sprays would truly make it feel pet-friendly. Nevertheless, I'm happy to see that brand-name hotels are gradually opening up to and improving their pet policies, and I believe things will only get better in the future. Aside from the pet aspect being quite satisfactory, I really need to complain about the hotel breakfast. I arrived at the restaurant around 9:45 AM, knowing the hotel was full and breakfast would be crowded, so I specifically tried to avoid peak hours. When I got to the entrance, both the hostess and manager were looking down, and there was no one to seat us. All the trays were empty, and people were scrambling to find plates. I didn't see any service staff in the dining area; it was the head chef who brought out the plates. The food was cleared very quickly by 9:55 AM. I asked an employee who was clearing the food for a main serving spoon to eat my cereal, and she told me they only had ceramic spoons, and that the stainless steel ones were only for the serving counter. The Americano coffee machine at the coffee bar only filled cups about 60% of the way. The restaurant manager really needs to contact the supplier to adjust the machine. What I also can't understand is why the omelet station, which is a key QA check for the Marriott brand, has been changed. There are no more omelets, and although they made sunny-side up eggs, I'm still a bit confused. I've never stayed at a Sheraton before, so perhaps the standards are different? On a positive note, I want to praise the chef at the noodle station. She was incredibly enthusiastic, and the beef noodles were delicious. Even though it was close to closing time, she maintained her warmth and enthusiasm, which was really lovely. However, there's a small detail: the chopsticks provided for eating noodles aren't ideal for picking up the noodles. I observed that most guests were business travelers, and it's very easy for soup to splash onto their clothes. Because of this, I didn't finish my delicious beef noodles.

Extremely satisfied with my stay at the Shangri-La Hotel Wuhan during this trip. I booked a Horizon Club room, which offered all-day drinks and snacks, plus afternoon tea. Room service was also excellent, with daily housekeeping (more than once a day). The hotel's location is superb, just a few steps from the metro station. Exiting the hotel, you're right on Kaoxiong Road and Taipei Road, which are lined with small restaurants and coffee shops – perfect for a city walk. Baodao Park is also nearby, great for an early morning stroll. Turning left out of the hotel, you'll find MixC World just a short walk away, which is super convenient. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay.

My stay at Hilton Wuhan Riverside exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in, patiently providing information about the hotel's facilities. The room was clean and spacious, and the high-floor river view room offered spectacular views, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the Yangtze River and Parrot Island Bridge—the night view was especially stunning. The bedding was comfortable, and soundproofing was good. The breakfast offered a rich variety, with local snacks like hot dry noodles tasting authentic. The high-altitude river view pool was perfect for photos, and its proximity to Hanyang Beach made for convenient leisurely strolls. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Wuhan!

It was my first time to experience tent accommodation. My daughter liked it very much. The hair dryers were all Dyson and the mattresses were heated. They were very considerate. The air on the mountain was really good! Suggestion: The noodles could be bigger☺️!

We had an excellent stay at this homestay, which exceeded the quality of most hotels I've stayed in. The room was spotless and well-furnished, with no worn-down furniture, a great pillow selection, and high-quality toiletries like shampoo. This family-owned and managed property offers outstanding service. The staff's service was exceptional—they set up a WeChat group for communication and assisted us with transfers to and from the railway station. Additionally, they arranged a mini-van with a driver for a full-day tour at a very reasonable price, making our trip hassle-free. The breakfast was a highlight, made with fresh, organic ingredients and homemade dishes. They have their own tea farm, and the tea tasted delicious. The homestay is beautifully located up on a mountain above the nearby town. Despite the remote location, the staff provided transfers to and from town since there were no taxis available. Overall, this homestay provided a delightful and memorable experience. The room was very spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. They even provided lavender essential oil for a good night's sleep, and the duvet wasn't too thick, making for a wonderfully restful night. I usually don't bother leaving reviews, but I have to commend the sofa bed. Traveling as a family of three, booking a twin room means two adults might find one bed a bit small, and with the child growing older, sharing a king bed is becoming less ideal. This sofa bed is truly luxurious; it could easily sleep two kids, and I was tempted to sleep on it myself! Hotels really should conduct more surveys and not be so stingy. Families of three genuinely need more consideration. I didn't take photos of the room. The food at the second-floor restaurant was pretty good. The pool was a bit crowded, making it hard to really swim.

This guesthouse met my expectations perfectly. After an exhausting day at Enshi Grand Canyon, all I wanted was to lie down, and this guesthouse is super close, just a few minutes' drive from the visitor center. The owner even came out to greet us, making it easy to spot the place. The room had an amazing view and was very bright. The sofa was really spacious, perfect for lounging around. The complimentary snacks and fruit were a pleasant surprise – I even tried the stinky dried tofu and had a good laugh. We pre-ordered dinner, which was home-style cooking. Enjoying the beautiful scenery with a little wine, isn't that what a good trip is all about? The family room was huge, well-equipped, clean, and had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Breakfast was also something to look forward to. My noodles were a bit salty, but I still polished them off! 😅 The housekeeper was always smiling, which made our stay very comfortable. I even took photos to praise them!

The hotel is very close to the airport, right opposite T2 terminal. However, for T3, you'll need to take a shuttle bus for a few minutes. It drops you off on the 1st floor, then you have to take an elevator to the 4th floor for check-in and security. With less than an hour, it felt a bit rushed, but the airport shuttle staff just kept saying there was enough time. We had to wait for one more person before the shuttle departed, and it was packed. I ended up having to use the express lane for baggage check-in. It's still somewhat convenient, I guess. If you're flying from T2, it's a decent option. But for T3, I'd recommend booking a different hotel, at least one that offers complimentary airport transfer services instead of relying on the airport's 5 RMB shuttle. The room was okay, but the soundproofing was quite poor, and the service was just average. Don't expect much from the front desk staff. Overall, if you're flying from T2, it's a relatively recommended choice.

This B&B experience was truly amazing, and I absolutely have to give it a thumbs-up! Upon arrival, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains and rivers. It felt like I had stumbled into a paradise. In the distance, rolling hills shrouded in mist, while below, a gurgling stream gurgled, crystal clear. The air was filled with the delicate fragrance of plants and trees, and every breath was soothing. The room at the B&B was also wonderful. It was warm and comfortable, well-equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. Opening the curtains, the panoramic view of the mountains and rivers was breathtaking – a truly beautiful experience. The owner was simple, warm, and attentive, making me feel incredibly warm from check-in to check-out. We dined at the B&B for several meals, all made with fresh local ingredients, brimming with home-cooked flavors. Finally, before leaving, the owner let me use the kitchen to make a stir-fried rice dish, even paying for it. There are many fun places around. Whether it is strolling in the mountains or playing by the stream, you can completely relax your body and mind. My daughter and the boss's youngest son didn't want to leave after playing so much. In short, this B&B completely exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come again next time!
