happy19821202The hotel's location is excellent, right by the riverside in Jiang'an District. It's surrounded by bustling streets and alleys like Li Huangpi Road, full of local delicacies such as hot dry noodles and Hubei cuisine. Along the street, you can visit famous architectural sites like the Soong Ching-ling Former Residence. In the evenings, a walk along the river is incredibly refreshing and pleasant.
The room felt much larger than its estimated 46 square meters. The original design was simple yet practical, with a very reasonable layout and a bright overall color scheme that made me feel relaxed and happy. Upon check-in, the front desk proactively upgraded me to a deluxe room with a partial river view, which was a delightful surprise. This hotel was the best experience and offered the best value among the four hotels I stayed at during my trip from Changsha to Wuhan. Five-star rating, a big thanks to the front desk and service staff.
Just one small suggestion: the spin dryer in the swimming pool changing room should ideally be replaced. It takes over an hour to dry clothes, and the effect isn't great. I'd also recommend replacing the bath towels.

This is a really nice hotel! I stayed at two Sheratons on this trip, and both were excellent. The service truly stands out. The security guards at the entrance were all very polite and professional. The hotel even offered complimentary breakfast for my child and supper at the executive lounge. Our butler was also incredibly kind, always asking what services we needed. I definitely prefer big-brand hotels; the service, bedding, and overall sense of relaxation are just completely different. The breakfast was absolutely delicious – hot dry noodles, beef noodles, and guokui, among others, were all so satisfying! If I go to Wuhan again, I'll definitely choose a Sheraton. It left a lasting impression! Despite a lot of guests, you wouldn't know it when you're in your room at night. No matter how carefully you listen, you won't hear anyone in the surrounding rooms – it's incredibly quiet, ensuring great sleep quality! The location is also excellent, very close to Hankou Railway Station, and directly downstairs are Wanda Plaza and a supermarket. I also want to commend the hotel lobby for having a photo exhibition area called 'Wuhan Memories.' I think this shows the hotel's respect and understanding for this glorious city. I spent a long time looking at every single photo with my child, learning about the history. I personally found it to be a wonderful touch!

Guest UserI stopped over in Wuhan for a night and the accommodation exceeded my expectations. We checked in smoothly with our pet, and there were no additional charges. The hotel did a great job assigning our room, and the soundproofing was excellent. It was the first time my dog slept so soundly outside of our home; she didn't spend the whole night on guard. We kept our dog in a stroller in the public areas. While the hotel is pet-friendly in that it allows pets, there's still room for improvement. For example, the pet bed provided isn't very useful, as most pet owners know that pets won't readily sleep in an unfamiliar bed with unfamiliar scents. Perhaps a pet playpen would be better. Providing pet pads, diapers, and even pheromone sprays for anxiety or flea/tick sprays would truly make it feel pet-friendly. Nevertheless, I'm happy to see that brand-name hotels are gradually opening up to and improving their pet policies, and I believe things will only get better in the future.
Aside from the pet aspect being quite satisfactory, I really need to complain about the hotel breakfast. I arrived at the restaurant around 9:45 AM, knowing the hotel was full and breakfast would be crowded, so I specifically tried to avoid peak hours. When I got to the entrance, both the hostess and manager were looking down, and there was no one to seat us. All the trays were empty, and people were scrambling to find plates. I didn't see any service staff in the dining area; it was the head chef who brought out the plates. The food was cleared very quickly by 9:55 AM. I asked an employee who was clearing the food for a main serving spoon to eat my cereal, and she told me they only had ceramic spoons, and that the stainless steel ones were only for the serving counter. The Americano coffee machine at the coffee bar only filled cups about 60% of the way. The restaurant manager really needs to contact the supplier to adjust the machine. What I also can't understand is why the omelet station, which is a key QA check for the Marriott brand, has been changed. There are no more omelets, and although they made sunny-side up eggs, I'm still a bit confused. I've never stayed at a Sheraton before, so perhaps the standards are different?
On a positive note, I want to praise the chef at the noodle station. She was incredibly enthusiastic, and the beef noodles were delicious. Even though it was close to closing time, she maintained her warmth and enthusiasm, which was really lovely. However, there's a small detail: the chopsticks provided for eating noodles aren't ideal for picking up the noodles. I observed that most guests were business travelers, and it's very easy for soup to splash onto their clothes. Because of this, I didn't finish my delicious beef noodles.

We chose this hotel for our family trip, and the stay far exceeded our expectations, especially thanks to Xiao Cheng at the front desk. We had pre-booked a family queen room, and at check-in, due to a room allocation adjustment, Xiao Cheng, upon learning we were traveling with two young children, proactively offered a free upgrade to a family bunk bed suite without any extra charge, which was a delightful surprise. The layout of this family suite was very practical, with a queen bed for adults and bunk beds for the kids. The children were incredibly excited to see the bunk beds and had a blast climbing up and down. The room was equipped with special toiletries for children, anti-slip slippers, and even had corner protectors, showing great attention to detail. The overall space was open, with the living area large enough to comfortably place our luggage, allowing adults to relax and children to play without disturbing each other in the evening. The window didn't face the main road, so it was very quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. Xiao Cheng handled the check-in process efficiently, thoughtfully explained the suite's amenities, and provided genuinely sincere service throughout. Traveling with kids can be stressful, and this thoughtful upgrade saved us the cost of booking a separate family room, while the room's comfort was excellent. Both the service and the room type are very suitable for family travel. If we visit this area again with family, this will definitely be our first choice.

DingdianbukanjiaThe river view room with floor-to-ceiling windows is absolutely stunning, offering clear views of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, Parrot Island Bridge, Yellow Crane Tower, and the Yangtze River. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bedding materials are of high quality. It's conveniently located with free parking. The breakfast is excellent, especially the authentic Hot Dry Noodles and a perfectly made omelet. The extra bed service was great; even the smaller bed was very comfortable. The pool was too crowded, and there were coaches giving lessons, taking up a whole lane. Wuhan Shangri-La has the same issue. This really needs improvement. If you want a less crowded pool, it's best to go before noon, otherwise, the experience is quite poor. Overall, it's a good hotel.

Guest UserIt was my first time to experience tent accommodation. My daughter liked it very much. The hair dryers were all Dyson and the mattresses were heated. They were very considerate. The air on the mountain was really good!
Suggestion: The noodles could be bigger☺️!

AtroWe had an excellent stay at this homestay, which exceeded the quality of most hotels I've stayed in. The room was spotless and well-furnished, with no worn-down furniture, a great pillow selection, and high-quality toiletries like shampoo. This family-owned and managed property offers outstanding service.
The staff's service was exceptional—they set up a WeChat group for communication and assisted us with transfers to and from the railway station. Additionally, they arranged a mini-van with a driver for a full-day tour at a very reasonable price, making our trip hassle-free.
The breakfast was a highlight, made with fresh, organic ingredients and homemade dishes. They have their own tea farm, and the tea tasted delicious.
The homestay is beautifully located up on a mountain above the nearby town. Despite the remote location, the staff provided transfers to and from town since there were no taxis available.
Overall, this homestay provided a delightful and memorable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and high-quality stay.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the Riverside Park, offering picturesque views. The service is excellent, and I highly recommend the river-view pool – it was a delightful experience to exercise with such beautiful scenery. Free parking for private cars is a plus, and the charging facilities are very convenient. This hotel is ideally located and truly the best five-star hotel with river views. It would be even better if the breakfast selection had more variety. Although the booking information was slightly different, the room rate included a double breakfast and a complimentary double dinner set, which tasted great, and the service was excellent. At just over 700, the double room offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay at The Westin again next time I'm in Yichang.

mooncindyThis guesthouse met my expectations perfectly. After an exhausting day at Enshi Grand Canyon, all I wanted was to lie down, and this guesthouse is super close, just a few minutes' drive from the visitor center. The owner even came out to greet us, making it easy to spot the place. The room had an amazing view and was very bright. The sofa was really spacious, perfect for lounging around. The complimentary snacks and fruit were a pleasant surprise – I even tried the stinky dried tofu and had a good laugh. We pre-ordered dinner, which was home-style cooking. Enjoying the beautiful scenery with a little wine, isn't that what a good trip is all about? The family room was huge, well-equipped, clean, and had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Breakfast was also something to look forward to. My noodles were a bit salty, but I still polished them off! 😅 The housekeeper was always smiling, which made our stay very comfortable. I even took photos to praise them!

Guest UserThis hotel was a last-minute pick, and it turned out to be surprisingly good! The room was spacious and comfortable. We're a family of three, and even though the two 1.2-meter beds couldn't be combined, we managed by pushing the sofa in between them, placing a pillow on top, and covering it with a bath towel. This effectively created a barrier to prevent our child from falling off the bed. You can take a free shuttle bus from the airport and then it's just a short walk. We had an early flight and didn't buy breakfast, but they thoughtfully provided a convenience breakfast bag for us to take away, which was excellent service. Honestly, this hotel, which cost only a few hundred RMB, was several times better than the hotel we later stayed at in Singapore, which cost thousands. Highly recommended!
