Very reasonable price, excellent hotel cleanliness, and away from the noise. There's a complex of restaurants and cafes in the hotel square, and a distinct mosque nearby. There's also a shuttle service to the Haram every hour, as well as a return service, but the return is annoying because you have to take two buses.

I’ve stayed four days and enjoyed the daily bus service to Haram it was 24/7 days, the receptionists are professional and approachable. The room service was friendly and supportive. The room was mid clean not immaculate but it was nice, the TV was working well. The fridge is not cooling very much but its fine.

Jumeirah Hotel was excellent in terms of facilities — everything is new, clean, and well-maintained. Credit where it’s due: the staff were genuinely outstanding, extremely attentive, and always eager to help. Service level is easily one of the best. Location-wise, it’s around a 4–6 minute walk to Al Haram, which is acceptable. However, let’s be real — compared to the Clock Tower hotels, they are noticeably closer and more convenient, especially during peak prayer times. Now, about the “Partial Haram View” — this needs honesty. We booked two Deluxe Rooms with Partial Haram View, but the view is technically there… if you really look for it 😅. The Haram is barely visible, and most of the view is dominated by unfinished construction. You’ll spend more time spotting the Haram than enjoying it. Bottom line: Excellent hotel, top-tier service, great facilities — but don’t book it expecting a meaningful Haram view. If proximity and view matter, Clock Tower hotels still win.

The hotel was great, clean, and staff is extremely welcoming & helpful… the location of the hotel is a bit far from the masjid al-Haram, however, the hotel has their own buss waiting right outside the hotel lobby operating 24/7 to drop you to Sheb Amer bus station… also the bus waits for you in section A platform C-23

Dear Trip.com Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent stay at Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah, which was booked through your platform. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standards expected from a hotel of this category, nor the information confirmed prior to arrival. 1. Early Check-in Confirmation Not Honored Before my arrival, I received a message from the hotel requesting confirmation of my check-in time if it was before 12:00 PM. I confirmed this accordingly. However, upon arrival, I was informed that no room was available and was asked to wait until around 4:00 PM, under the pretext that this is the standard check-in time. This was both disappointing and exhausting, especially after travel, and contradicted the prior communication from the hotel. 2. Bathroom Plumbing Issue On the first day, I encountered a serious issue in the bathroom where water overflowed and accumulated, making it impossible to shower or even use the sink properly. Although the issue was eventually repaired, it significantly affected my comfort during the first day of my stay. 3. Repeated Unfulfilled Requests (Pillow and Blanket) I requested an extra pillow and blanket multiple times (at least four separate requests). Each time, I was assured that they would be delivered shortly, yet they never arrived. This reflects poor service follow-up and lack of coordination. 4. Incorrect Breakfast Restaurant Assignment At check-in, the reception staff encoded my room key with access to a breakfast restaurant that was extremely limited in size, overcrowded, and of noticeably low quality. Often, there were no available tables, forcing guests to wait. Every morning, hotel staff verified my eligibility to enter this restaurant. However, on the last day, a different employee informed me—unexpectedly—that my booking actually entitled me to access a higher-quality, more premium breakfast restaurant, which I immediately visited. This means I was wrongly deprived of the service level included in my booking for the majority of my stay. --- Considering all the above issues—miscommunication, delayed room availability, maintenance problems, poor service responsiveness, and incorrect service allocation—I believe this stay fell far below reasonable expectations. I kindly request that Trip.com review this matter and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and service failures I experienced, whether in the form of a partial refund, Trip.com credit, or another suitable resolution. The breakfast need improvement by variety and most of the food was cold. Staff are great and hotel was really nice. Additionally the lounge acess timing need to be more flexible specially as we want to pray in Masjid Al Haram its very tight for example snack time that is between 7 PM to 9 PM, also I dont know why they call it snack time that I discovered its dinner. This is the view from the room I booked partial Kaaba view.

She was a wonderful example of dedicated nationals who go above and beyond to serve the guests of God (referring to pilgrims or visitors to holy sites) with such warmth, cheerfulness, and excellent service. Had a pleasant stay at Swissôtel Makkah. So far everything has been good – the room is clean and comfortable, the staff are helpful and the location is very convenient for visiting Masjid al-Haram. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you!

It is within a comfortable 1km walking distance (note: ignore Google Maps’ longer route suggestion). · Al Rahmah (Floating) Mosque: About 20km away, a taxi will cost around 30 SAR. And Albalad is at 15 SAR taxi cost. · Amenities: Numerous shops and eateries are within walking distance, which is very convenient. · This hotel is with 8 floors, offering a sense of space and avoiding any cramped feeling. · Rooms are a strong point, thoughtfully furnished with everything a traveler needs: a comfortable bed, TV, efficient AC, fridge, hairdryer, iron, ample cupboard space, and quality toiletries (shampoo, towels). · Daily cleaning service is provided and reliable. · On-Request Items: The staff is happy to provide extras like a tea kettle upon request. Exceptional Service: This is where the hotel truly excels. A special mention must be made for Mr. Kamal Uddian from room service. · He is highlighted as ”really great” – energetic, soft-spoken, and incredibly helpful. · His ability to speak Hindi is a major plus for Indian subcontinent travelers. · He goes above and beyond to assist with arranging food, cabs, or any other requests, making guests feel well-supported. The hotel does not have its own restaurant or room service for food. However, this is easily compensated for by the plethora of nearby walkable food shops and restaurants. Highly recommended for business travelers, tourists, and pilgrimage visitors (Umrah) looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient base in Jeddah. The mcombination of location, room amenities, and Kamal's exemplary service makes for a very pleasant and hassle-free stay. Just be prepared to explore the local area for your meals.

Hilton makkah has always been among my favourite hotel, the only disadvantage is the distance which is slightly far from the main door of AlHaraam. The interior was excellent and the friendly staffs are commendable. I got a partial haraam view as previous The breakfast menu was superb too
