Very Good
AAnonymous UserPrice: Very cheap for a 4-star hotel. Good value for money.
Location: Quite far, located in the an Naseem area, but like the vive there.
Shuttle bus : very excellent and very punctual.
Room: Overall okay, but the toilet is quite small.
Breakfast: Has a good variety, but the menu is almost the same every day. I stayed for 7 nights and ended up eating nearly the same items daily.
Staff: Generally okay, but there was a serious incident that affected my stay. One night, a bellman attempted to open my room door 2–3 times. Fortunately, I had engaged the inner lock, so he was unable to enter fully. He was accompanied by other outsiders, which was a clear breach of guest privacy and safety.
I immediately made a complaint to the reception. They offered a room upgrade, but the room change process took a very long time. I waited from before Maghrib until after Isya, and eventually had to go to the reception myself to follow up.
Wi-Fi: After changing to the new room, the Wi-Fi signal was very weak. I had to sit near the lift area just to get a stable and stronger internet connection, which was very inconvenient.
MMoataz888I’ve stayed four days and enjoyed the daily bus service to Haram it was 24/7 days, the receptionists are professional and approachable.
The room service was friendly and supportive. The room was mid clean not immaculate but it was nice, the TV was working well.
The fridge is not cooling very much but its fine.
GGuest UserJumeira Jabbal Omar is a beautiful hotel Maashallah. The hotel, is very modern, clean and has an array of shops in the local building for quick access. It is a 4 minute walk from the haram and is in close proximity to gate 79 umrah entrance and also to clock tower.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Whilst the haram is close, you should still try to get to the haram early for prayer times as sometimes certain routes are closed thus redirecting mutamireen to alternate areas which may not be where you intended to be.
The one negative about the hotel is that it is located in an area of the haram that is not easily detected on google maps thus unable to order an uber from this hotel as a pickup point. This is however the case with several hotels close to the haram.
This was otherwise a lovely stay and in shaa Allah looking forward to returning soon.
DDeasy ArisaNovotel Makkah Thakher City is really not recommended, seriously.
The bus stop for its shuttle is very far from the Haram; just walking from the Haram to the shuttle stop alone can take about 30 - 40 minutes.
The shuttle takes a long time to arrive at the hotel for pick up — once we waited 30 minutes, the shuttle isn’t always on standby. Once we wanted to go for Fajr prayer, we had to take a taxi because the shuttle didn’t come for a long time.
This is from a real experience staying here for 2 nights. Because the Middle East current war, we got a flight reroute that depart 2 days earlier, so we had to add 2 nights at a nearby hotel, but the prices of the hotel close to Haram were already very expensive. We thought this Novotel’s shuttle would be like the one at Le Méridien Tower (shuttle bus stop close to haram - we stayed the on our previous trip), but this Novotel shuttle bus stop turned out to be too far, especially when we travel will elderly
On the second day, we only went to the mosque to complete our umrah — we couldn’t handle going back and forth between the hotel and the mosque multiple times.
*************, on the third day (2 days ago, when this comment was written), we moved to a nearby hotel that we had already booked long before.”
Yes, nusuk approval was fast with this hotel, but what’s the point of fast approval if you still have to wait for the shuttle for an hour close to prayer time and still miss the congregation?
Because of the long wait, we got stuck in traffic, and then walking from the bus to the mosque also took a very long time.
Hopefully this can be a consideration for those planning to book — don’t regret it like we did, since we didn’t have many options because we booked late 😆”
GGuest UserEverything was great, close to the Haram and all amenities. However, if more attention was paid to the cleanliness and disinfection of the rooms and bathrooms, it would be perfect.
AAhmed al bulushiThe breakfast need improvement by variety and most of the food was cold.
Staff are great and hotel was really nice.
Additionally the lounge acess timing need to be more flexible specially as we want to pray in Masjid Al Haram its very tight for example snack time that is between 7 PM to 9 PM, also I dont know why they call it snack time that I discovered its dinner.
This is the view from the room I booked partial Kaaba view.
GGuest UserHuge thanks and appreciation to the receptionist, Sara! She was a wonderful example of dedicated nationals who go above and beyond to serve the guests of God (referring to pilgrims or visitors to holy sites) with such warmth, cheerfulness, and excellent service. My thanks also go to the buffet staff and our Saudi coffee server, Abdulmajeed, and the rest of the team. Thanks to everyone for a truly unique experience!
AAnonymous UserThe facilities and amenities are actually good, but the offer of the room type does not actually mathces the description and picture associated. When we pick kaaba view and we see that the picture associated is clear kaaba view, the perception is the room is clear kaaba view without obstruction. However, it's disappointing to find out that the view of the romm to the kaaba was actually obstructed by a crane. This should not happe

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Jabal Omar Marriott Hotel Makkah. Everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel is extremely well-organized, making check-in and daily routines smooth and stress-free. One of the highlights was the cleanliness—every area of the hotel, from the rooms to the common spaces, was spotless and very well maintained. It really made the stay comfortable and relaxing.
A special mention goes to the breakfast crew, who were absolutely fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere each morning. The service they provided truly stood out.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Makkah. It combines excellent service, great organization, and outstanding cleanliness for a truly enjoyable stay.
