Ambience: good ambience, peaceful, seems an expensive hotel.
Check in check out: slow process. Does not take into consideration the time of the client. Call the front desk a head of time before checking out to hasten. The receptionist is not welcoming, not courteous.
Rooms: exceptional! The view at 1210 was superb! All amenities were working. Clean room. The shower gel was watered down. The wifi was very slow almost unserviceable.
Food: The only thing that pulls the hotel down. Food was mediocre; kept repeating the menu, taste like carinderia. Nothing special. They keep on providing processed food in the menu, ice bucket was not sturdy enough, they cant provide tongs. Condiments not available readily. It seems that they are cost cutting.
Staff: said earlier guest are not very courteous.
Overall: will go back for sure but we hope there will be improvements.

I had a wonderful stay at Fili Hotel and was truly impressed from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully designed, with modern interiors and a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere. Every detail, from the lobby to the rooms, feels thoughtfully curated and elegant.
The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the amenities provided made the stay even more convenient and relaxing. I also appreciated the peaceful ambiance, which made it easy to unwind.
The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their hospitality truly made the experience memorable.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, which I appreciated. While there were many options available, I feel there is still a little room for improvement in terms of selection and variety. That said, the food was fresh and nicely prepared.
Overall, Fili Hotel exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cebu, and I’m definitely looking forward to staying here again!

Situated near the Fuente circle so everything is accessible. Rooftop pool has a nice view but not open for swimming atm. Breakfast option could be improved. Overall, rooms are nice even if they are on the smaller side but considering the nightly rate, it’s perfect. Loved the water container as it’s good for the environment and you can get free refills anytime.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations in every possible way.
From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was smooth, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally professional, patient, and attentive, always ready to help and making us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay. Their service was not only efficient, but also warm and thoughtful, which made a real difference.
The room was spacious, clean, and very well maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. Everything was clearly taken care of with great attention to detail. Considering the quality of the accommodation and the level of service provided, the overall value for money was outstanding.
What really stood out was how proactive and considerate the team was. They consistently went the extra mile to ensure our comfort, whether it was helping with logistics, accommodating special requests, or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect. This kind of genuine hospitality is not easy to find.
Overall, this stay was relaxing, stress-free, and memorable. If you are looking for a hotel that combines excellent service, high-quality rooms, and great value, this is an outstanding choice. I would absolutely stay here again and would confidently recommend it to anyone traveling to the area. A well-deserved top rating.

Thank you, Holiday Inn Cebu.
My family and I had a great time staying there for a few days.
Lovely was truly lovely—it really suited her name. She was the most accommodating from the very start. We wanted to thank her again during check-out, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to see her. She went above and beyond in hospitality, and you’re lucky to have her. Keep up the great work.
As for breakfast—OMG, we loved it! Special mention to the one who makes the coffee. Just a small note: it would be nice to improve or change the chafing dishes so the food stays hot. Other than that, the food and service were great.
I will definitely choose this hotel from now on, as we always stay in the city for a few days before heading to our rest house.
See you again soon, and thank you for the birthday cake and balloons!

The location of this hotel is excellent, only about 15 minutes from the airport, which made it very convenient. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They were able to organise a Grab to the airport and even checked me in at 3am without any issues. After a long stretch of travel, it was honestly such a smooth and easy experience.
The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for an overnight stay. There was a small area of rust under the mirror, but nothing major.
The only thing I would suggest improving is the cleanliness of the couches in the hotel’s common areas, as there were visible big spots on them.
Overall, it was a comfortable and hassle-free stay, especially for a short stop near the airport.
Would definitely go again! Very nice, spacious, and clean room. Complimentary minibar and small snacks on the first day. Beautiful view from the 15th floor, and the food at Uma restaurant was delicious with great service and not too expensive.

Amazing hotel for Cebu travelers!
The location is perfect — right in the city center and within walking distance to Ayala Mall. There are also great restaurants and spa/massage salons nearby, which makes everything very convenient.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout my stay.
One small area for improvement would be the breakfast, especially the bacon 🥓. It looked and tasted like it had been reheated several times and had lost its appeal.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel. 4.9/5.0 👍👍👍

LLeif ReyYou get what you pay for with this hotel. Although some of the appliances are old they still get the job done. The smart tv was a great addition to the room as it allowed us to watch and stream movies and tv shows. The only disappointing part was the internet connection as it wasn't stable and it wasn't fast enough to use reliably if you wanted to work.
WWangxiatian117The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby, including Jollibee, a famous Filipino fried chicken chain. It's also super handy that the meeting point for island hopping tours is right next to the McDonald's next door. The airport isn't too far either. The hotel's airport transfer service was great; the driver was really friendly and we chatted the whole way. Ewwan at the front desk provided exceptional service, being very patient and even helping me register my SIM card on the first day. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast starts at 6 AM, but on days when I had an early island hopping trip, I could get breakfast at the restaurant as early as 5:30 AM, which is a huge plus! The hotel shares a compound with Henann Resort Alona Beach, right next to each other. When I moved from one to the other, the reception even gave me a shuttle ride, which was fantastic.
AAnonymous UserWe had a very enjoyable stay at Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort. The beachfront location is stunning, and the pool and common areas are well-maintained and comfortable. Our room was clean, spacious, and had beautiful views of the ocean. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. Breakfast had a good variety and quality, though some dishes could be improved. The only minor downside is that some parts of the resort feel a bit busy with tour groups, which slightly affected the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, a highly recommended resort for a comfortable and scenic stay in Cebu.
GGuest UserI'm leaving this review in the hopes that it will be helpful to those traveling to Bohol.
1. Location: Since it's far from Alona Beach, I had to pay an additional 300 pesos one way for the free massage pickup and drop-off.
2. Facilities: The room was very comfortable and bright, perfect for putting on makeup. The mattress and bedding were nice, and the single beds came with two pillows, which was very comfortable.
3. Pool: The water was clean and regularly maintained, so it was great for swimming. At other resorts, I've never been in the water.
4. Meals: Breakfast was included, which was simple but filling and delicious. It was also nice to be able to order other meals whenever I wanted, which was also delicious.
5. Service: The staff were all friendly, and since it's not a busy area, they provided hotel pickup and drop-off for nearby areas and called tuk-tuks for further places. Grab wasn't available.
6. Overall: This is a resort I'd stay at again when I want a quiet and relaxing stay, but the distance from the city center was a bit inconvenient. This resort is great for water activities. I went shopping at ICM for 400 pesos one way, but I like to wander around nearby, so I moved to Alona Beach and had some fun.
Because it's surrounded by mountains, there were so many mosquitoes that I think I killed about 10 a day. Ask for an electric mosquito coil to minimize the damage.
This is a resort I highly recommend, but the biggest drawback is the mosquitoes.

GGuest UserBreakfast was great. The location is excellent, close to everything, and easy to find. My only minor issues were the lack of in-room slippers and no toiletries provided. However, they made up for it by offering unlimited drinking water conveniently located just outside the room.
WWangxiatian117The hotel is located right on Alona Beach. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There's a main pool and a beachfront pool, both quite nice. The hotel staff were all incredibly warm and friendly, always ready to help with any needs or issues. Room cleaning was prompt, happening about one to two times a day, and they even offered turn-down service. There are two restaurants serving breakfast, and the beachfront one felt a bit more extensive. The beachfront restaurant also has a dinner buffet in the evenings, which is 990 pesos per person for hotel guests – excellent value for money with a good variety of dishes. The location is convenient, about a 10-minute drive from the airport. Definitely a top choice hotel on Alona Beach.
MMeihuizzzzThe entire resort consists of 1-2 story buildings, giving it a real vacation vibe away from the bustling city. The staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. You do have to be patient with the slower service, like dishes being served, which is common in the Philippines, but then again, we were there to enjoy a 'slow-paced life.' If you want your room cleaned quickly, you'll need to call the front desk specifically, otherwise, it typically won't be done until after 3 PM.
AAnonymous UserStayed with my toddler for one night. Hotel room was great and clean but their service sucks. I requested to borrow utensils but they never came. Aqua play was closed due to maintenance. Playroom was not free for the type of booking that I availed which sucks cos it says on the fine print that it’s free. It made my toddler so disappointed cos of wrong info. Beach was dirty and low tide when we came. Swimming pool was dirty. The only highlight i guess was the breakfast buffet, lots to choose from and delicious.. but overall it’s kid friendly, although we just came in at the wrong time. Some facilities needs some maintenance and some Korean guests needs to know where the trash bin is located. Ts
