The location of the hotel is particularly good, just diagonally opposite the Petra Scenic Area, walk for 5 minutes, when you return to the original road for a day, the scenic spot is the hotel, what a happy thing! The room is arranged on the 5th floor, newly renovated, and there is a paint smell, it takes time to disperse. Breakfast is next to the lobby on the ground floor. The order restaurant on the top floor is very good. You can see the sunset and night view, and the price is OK.

For those driving to Petra, this hotel is arguably the best place to stay. It's conveniently located right across the street from the Petra Visitor Center. In the afternoon, we walked over to explore the Petra Museum. The next morning, we made sure to be among the first group to enter the ancient city right when it opened at 7 AM. This allowed us to avoid the intense sun and enjoy the Siq with very few people, making for an incredibly peaceful experience. The room wasn't large, but it was perfectly sufficient. We received a complimentary box of about five pastries upon check-in, which were quite tasty. We had an early breakfast just after 6 AM, and as mentioned, were among the first to enter Petra at 7 AM. We moved through the site quite efficiently and were back at the hotel by around 11 AM, allowing us a little rest before checking out at 12 PM and heading to our next destination. Also, there are plenty of restaurants near the hotel; a quick search on Google Maps will show many options, and the food quality is generally good.

The hotel is quite close to the ancient city of Petra. Breakfast is also ok. The hotel has a buffet in the evening. 10 yuan (local money) is equivalent to RMB 100. Generally speaking, it is more convenient to live here in the ancient city of Petra. I asked the hotel to help me arrange a car to the hotel in the center of Amman. 650 yuan. 250 kilometers. Great location, right at the entrance of Petra. The hotel feels great after walking out for a day. There are not many people in the hotel, it is quiet, it feels good, and the breakfast is good. The gift bag in the hotel is better than the outside Cheap, the quality is better than the outside, it is worth recommending. It’s new beautiful hotel. Room are so comfortable and nice and clean. Very nice view from the hotel. Staff are friendly It’s around 8-10 mins drive from Petra visiting center. Only good if you drive. Breakfast is good a few selections Restaurant is over priced comparing with 5 stars Movenpick which cost only 20-30% price difference but huge difference quality. The small veggie soup cost 4 JD. Totally over priced. The fish was over grilled. Free shuttle within certain hours. You have to pay after you check out if using the shuttle and leave your luggage Service was dramatically decreased after you check out. Kind of disappointed.

This place is sort of a boutique hotel opened by locals and not one of the big chain hotels and it’s location (point 1) is slightly further away from the city centre and it’s located on the hillside and there is no way you can walk there, you definitely need a car to reach this place from Petra Visitor Center ( hence please take a cab ) but it was fine for us as we drove. The price we paid was somewhat expensive ( due to its peak season) but all the hotels nearby were on the high side. Rooms are exceptionally clean and it even smell of freshly laundered sheets, good ventilation and breakfast was decent. We had dinner here as well 20JOD for the buffet dinner per person and it was great on the weekend nights but on a weekday nights the menu offering is much limited. Staff are generally friendly but I was turn off by a cook named Ala’a who was attending the egg station during breakfast on 29 October - not only was he slow ( compared to the cook of the previous day - leading to long wait at the station despite less than 30 people in the breakfast place), he was also rude to guests who didn’t really speak English and even told them when they didn’t clearly place their orders- I was observing and it was really bad taste as he scowl at them and this is only coming from a cook at the eggs station - you need mind your customer service ettiquete especially to foreign guests who makes up most of your revenue. The least you can do is smile and not make your guests feel like feel bad about their language when they are ordering their eggs.

My stay in Marriot Petra is beyond my expectations. The location is great, you could see nice views of Petra from the swimming pool in the hotel. Plus the hotel is super quiet and peaceful ❤️ The staff are super kind, friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Mr. Mohammed , the assistant manager in the front office , he is a very kind and friendly person, delivering a great service and kind attitude when interacting with the guest . I would like to recommend this hotel for your Petra stay .

Super, super good! 1. The room was clean and tidy, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong. 2. The hotel owner and staff were all fantastic. Upon check-in, the owner said the drinks and snacks in the room were free for us because we were Chinese, and he likes Chinese people. 3. We had a full-day Petra itinerary on our second day. After asking us, the owner said we could have breakfast whenever we wanted, and he would arrange free transportation for us. 4. We told the owner we wanted to leave at 7 am and asked him to prepare two breakfasts takeaway. The owner was very punctual, and the breakfasts were two large, heavy bags containing simple hot dogs, canned meat, five kinds of whole fruits and vegetables, water, drinks, and yogurt. 5. It's worth emphasizing that the entire hotel was extremely punctual, completely different from our experience in Egypt and Jordan over the past few days.
