The butler service was excellent; they contacted me before check-in and provided a very detailed guide, which I really appreciated. The hotel breakfast was substantial, and the baggage service was great, with staff bringing luggage directly to the room. However, the room was very small. I specifically booked the Cuiwei room, but it had no view, and the window was tiny. I guess the main benefit is being able to stay late in the scenic area and having a convenient place to crash. The complimentary photography session with Bojue Travel Photography only provided outfits, and each room received five free photos. Makeup and styling had to be purchased separately, and the outfits had to be returned immediately after the shoot. It's not as good value for money as places outside the scenic area.

I arrived in Nanchang West by high-speed train from Guangzhou East at 10 PM. I took the subway (the last train runs quite late) and then rode a shared electric bike to the hotel. The hotel itself was nice. It's located just across the road from the Pavilion of Prince Teng scenic area. From my room window, I could see the auxiliary buildings of the Pavilion and also the Ganjiang River, where the buildings function as a cruise terminal. The next morning, I went to explore around the Pavilion of Prince Teng and along the Ganjiang River for some photos. When you're outside by the river, you can only get a side view of the Pavilion; you can't see the full panorama without going inside. Whether or not to climb the Pavilion is a personal choice; I didn't go up. There are paid performances regularly scheduled in front of the Pavilion, which might be interesting to some, but I skipped them. After a quick wander, I headed to Nanchang's famous shopping street, Wanshou Palace. The Wanshou Palace area is a comprehensive pedestrian street with restricted vehicle access at certain times. I arrived early, so I could ride my electric bike in. I believe there are times when it's completely closed to traffic all day, and other times when it's restricted from afternoon to evening. It's a great place for those who enjoy shopping and trying out local eats. I saw long queues at some popular网红 (internet-famous) or established restaurants when I passed by at lunchtime. After that, I went directly to visit the August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall. It requires online reservations, and I heard it can be hard to book on holidays. Since I went on a weekday and early, I was able to book on-site. The security guard mentioned that during peak season, traffic gets completely jammed. I definitely think visiting the August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall is a must when in Nanchang. In the afternoon, I took the subway to the Jiangxi Provincial Museum, which also requires advance reservations. They offer free locker storage, and it's a very worthwhile museum with a rich collection. The Jiangxi Provincial Library is right next door, but unfortunately, it was closed on the day I visited. In the evening, I returned to the hotel and took a stroll along the Ganjiang River, enjoying the night views of the river and the Pavilion of Prince Teng. I also explored some nearby cultural and creative shops. I found a local Nanchang restaurant specializing in Jiangxi cuisine at an intersection near the hotel. I ordered some stir-fried dishes; they were made with a variety of ingredients, beautifully colored, and while the red and green peppers looked spicy, the flavor was actually very rich and not overly hot, perfect for those who enjoy a bit of spice but can't handle extreme heat. I actually quite like Nanchang and am looking forward to tomorrow's itinerary, which includes Minyou Temple, Bayi Park, and Bayi Square.

My 2-night stay at Yangxian Village, Wangxian Valley felt like stepping into a living Chinese fantasy painting hidden between the mountains. Waking up surrounded by misty peaks and hearing the peaceful sounds of the valley made time slow down for a while. The atmosphere at night was magical with lights reflecting across the valley and the entire place feeling almost unreal. The hotel breakfast is delicious and sumptuous! A mixture of Chinese and Western styles. The village itself has many food options, performances, and activities, so there was always something to explore without feeling bored. After walking around the scenic areas, it was also nice to see bars and KTV spots available for people who wanted to relax at night. The environment balances both peaceful scenery and lively entertainment quite well. The room was comfortable and clean, and overall the stay experience was satisfying. One small area for improvement would be the TV channels, as channels after 25 were quite lagging when watching at night. It could also be interesting if the resort considered adding services like leg massages after long walks around the valley. I think many travellers would appreciate that after exploring the mountain areas. Overall, staying inside Wangxian Valley was more than just accommodation; it felt like being immersed inside the scenery itself. Definitely a memorable and unique experience.

Let's start with the downsides: 1. The room facilities are clearly aging, including the toilet, shower, and small sofa. The deluxe river-view twin room I stayed in on the 2nd/3rd night had even worse facilities than the executive king room on the first night. 2. The housekeeping department lacks basic amenities like a step stool for children (they said it's only provided for family rooms). 3. Soundproofing isn't great. If your room is a bit close to the elevator lobby, it can get quite noisy. 4. Adjusting the air conditioning temperature didn't seem to have any effect, though the overall comfort was still acceptable. Now for the highlights: 1. The river-facing rooms offer an unbeatable view. The scenery is even more beautiful than in the photos. 2. From a tourist perspective, the location is excellent. Tengwang Pavilion and Dashiyuan are very close, and Wanshou Palace is also within walking distance. 3. The breakfast quality is decent, with a wide variety of options, including many local Nanchang specialties. The view from the restaurant windows during breakfast is also fantastic. 4. Although the hotel is tall, the elevators are fast and the water pressure is good, effectively avoiding common high-rise living issues. 5. The staff at the concierge, front desk, customer service, and restaurant are all very enthusiastic and have a great attitude. Other notes: The afternoon tea provided with the executive room on the first day was quite good. However, the welcome fruit platter was only delivered on the third day and wasn't of great quality.

This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions. What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming. The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!

I stayed at Lushan Hotel during my trip to Mount Lu! The hotel is located in the core area of Guling East Valley, right next to Meilu Villa. It's a quiet oasis in a bustling area, with Changchong River and a forest right outside – a natural oxygen bar that's incredibly healing. The century-old building has a wonderful charm, and the staff are warm and attentive. The front desk manager even gave us thoughtful advice on our travel itinerary. The breakfast was plentiful, and the location is superb.

The hotel environment is quite nice; it's a garden hotel, and you can stroll around its internal mini-park, which is very pleasant. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the staff are professional and patient, though they could smile a little more. The rooms are also very large and comfortable to stay in, and the hygiene is good. The facilities and equipment seem relatively new, probably because the hotel hasn't been open for long. Parking is very convenient with plenty of spaces; there are no parking fee barriers, you just drive straight into the hotel's parking lot.

”This stay experience is really great! Must come to praise this hotel! 🏨 First of all, the location is absolutely, just in the city center, a few minutes walk to Tianjie, travel and eating are super convenient. When I entered the lobby, I was attracted by the elegant environment. When I checked in, the front desk lady was particularly enthusiastic and upgraded the room type intimately! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the pillow height was just right, and the night was good. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the toiletries taste very high. The most pleasant surprise is the hotel facilities. The toilet is constant temperature, the shower in the bath is also very textured, and the TV curtains and air conditioning can be controlled by Tmall Genie. The price is also very cost-effective. In our Yushan, it is the most cost-effective. I also sent a small gift when I checked out, and I felt taken care of it. The overall price is super high, I will choose here next time, I highly recommend it to friends on business trips or travel! ✨”

Staying within the scenic area was a brilliant choice. It allowed us to explore in the evenings and early mornings when there were fewer tourists. The guesthouse, which is uniformly managed by the scenic area, exceeded our expectations. It was clean and tidy, with all amenities thoughtfully provided (like disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers). The butler service was excellent; they contacted us via WeChat two days in advance, and after check-in, promptly and proactively sent us various information and even arranged exclusive activities. On the day of arrival, we joined the butler for a photoshoot in the rapeseed fields, and the next morning, we strolled through the ancient village with them, listening to stories of old houses. During both activities, the butlers were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive. They paid special attention to elderly guests and those who loved taking photos, ensuring no one got left behind, and frequently reminded us about the slippery stone paths on rainy days. Other staff members at the guesthouse were also very proactive and pleasant. The only minor inconvenience was that the guesthouse rooms were quite spread out, making the walk to the breakfast restaurant a bit far.

The hotel's overall decor has an industrial, design-forward aesthetic that's perfect for photos. The room was spacious, bright, clean, beautiful, and comfortable. I especially loved the lush greenery outside the window. The service was warm and attentive, and breakfast was plentiful. The location, within the Taochuan Scenic Area, is convenient—lively outside, but quiet inside. Overall, I was very satisfied with my 3-night stay.

GGuest UserThis is a must-recommend guesthouse. It's quite close to the scenic area, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the whole place is equipped with smart technology. Even the details at the foot of the bed are thoughtful. The owners are very welcoming and offer shuttle service to and from the scenic area, making you feel right at home. There are many food options available; the street downstairs is lined with restaurants.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite new, conveniently located in a prominent and easy-to-find spot. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean. Environment: The surrounding area boasts numerous dining options, supermarkets, bars, and late-night eateries. Takeaway services are also readily available, and you'll find no shortage of tea shops and cafes. The hotel itself features restaurants, and the breakfast spread offers a good variety with decent taste – truly comprehensive and satisfying. Service: Fantastic! The staff were very friendly and always smiling.👍 Facilities: A point to note for first-time visitors to Yichun – not all rooms at the hotel include hot spring tickets.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at MY Hotel (Nanchang Hengmao Dream Times, Xiejiacun Metro Station Branch), and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality, comfort, and convenience offered at such a reasonable price. This property is a great option for both business and leisure travelers who want to enjoy a clean, modern hotel with easy access to Nanchang’s main attractions. First of all, the location is very convenient. The hotel is situated near Xiejiacun Metro Station, which makes it extremely easy to travel around the city. Within just a few stops, you can reach major landmarks such as Bayi Square, Tengwang Pavilion, and the Gan River. The Hengmao Dream Times shopping complex is also nearby, offering a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. This combination of metro access and entertainment options makes the hotel an excellent base for exploring Nanchang. The hotel itself feels new and well maintained. The lobby is welcoming and efficient, and check-in was smooth and straightforward. The staff members were friendly and professional, and although their English ability was limited, they tried their best to assist, and translation apps worked fine. I appreciated their polite attitude and willingness to help with directions and local advice. My room was clean, bright, and modern. The design is simple but stylish, with comfortable bedding and practical furniture. The bed was large and supportive, with fresh linens and soft pillows that made for a good night’s sleep. The room also had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a small desk area, which was helpful for doing some work during my stay. Wi-Fi was fast and stable, which is essential for travelers who need to stay connected. The bathroom was also very good—compact but functional, with a nice shower, clean towels, and basic toiletries provided. Everything worked well, and hot water was consistent. Housekeeping did a good job in keeping the room tidy and replenishing supplies. One of the highlights for me was the quiet environment. Even though the hotel is in a lively district, the rooms are well-insulated, and I was able to rest comfortably without noise disturbances. This made a big difference after long days of exploring the city. If I had to mention a small drawback, it would be that the hotel does not have many luxury amenities like a gym, pool, or large restaurant. However, for the price and location, it offers exactly what most travelers need: a safe, clean, and comfortable place to stay with reliable service. In summary, MY Hotel (Nanchang Hengmao Dream Times, Xiejiacun Metro Station Branch) offers excellent value for money. With its convenient metro access, clean and modern rooms, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, it is a very good choice for visitors to Nanchang. I would happily recommend it to other travelers and would consider staying here again on my next trip.

GGuest UserStepping out of the elevator, you're immediately greeted by a luxurious atmosphere. This place offers incredible value for money. The front desk proactively upgraded our room and even provided complimentary breakfast – huge kudos to them! Although the service staff couldn't remember where the umbrellas were during the rain, their warm eagerness to help was truly charming. Honestly, this is the first time I've ever given a business such a high rating. It's excellent, and I'll definitely be staying here again when I return in a couple of days.

RRollingstoneHampton by Hilton Nanchang Stay Review Overview: I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city. The Good: 1. Comfortable Rooms: The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets. 2. Facilities & Amenities: The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay. 3. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables. 4. Service: The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. 5. Location: The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city. The Drawbacks: 1. Room Size: While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped. 2. Limited Dining Options: While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery. 3. Noise: Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers. Who It’s Best For:

The room we booked looked exactly like the pictures, no discrepancies at all. My family unanimously gave it a thumbs up! Since we had a large group, the front desk lady kindly arranged multiple shuttle trips to the scenic area for us, which was a huge help 👍🏻. And the noodles and congee for breakfast were delicious! 😁

AAnonymous UserI want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle. My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating. The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems. We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints. The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket. Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view. We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat. Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together. The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them. The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them. The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.
