I really loved the simple and elegant decor of the room. The owner, an auntie, was incredibly warm and friendly! I'd give her a perfect 100! I stayed in the 'Xiao Man' room, which was newly renovated and really nice, plus it had smart home features throughout. The cleanliness was spotless, making my stay incredibly reassuring. The air conditioning was cool, and I slept soundly all night. The next day when we were leaving, we forgot something, and the auntie actually reminded us herself. I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again next time!!! This area is also a lot of fun, I highly recommend everyone to come and visit!!

Choosing this guesthouse for our Wuyuan trip was absolutely the right decision! We arrived at Wuyuan Station by high-speed train, and the owner had already contacted us to arrange a pickup, saving us a lot of hassle trying to find our way. We went straight from the train to the guesthouse comfortably, which instantly elevated our experience. The location is super convenient too; not only is it close to the high-speed train station, but it's also just a 10-minute walk to Xiangao City. We didn't have to rush for transportation every day, just strolled over at our own pace, which was perfect for us 'lazy' travelers who don't like packed itineraries. What surprised me the most was how incredibly clean the guesthouse was. The living room, bedroom, and bathroom were all sparkling clean, with no dust even in the corners. The bedding felt fresh and spotless. Even with my slight germophobia, I felt completely at ease staying here. Plus, the entire place is equipped with smart devices. You can just call out to open the curtains or turn on the lights, so no fumbling in the dark for switches when you return to your room at night – so convenient! I have to mention, the owner is genuinely wonderful and incredibly warm-hearted. As soon as we arrived, they told us about delicious local eateries and fun spots, and even helped us plan our itinerary, helping us avoid many common tourist traps. When we left, they insisted on giving us a bunch of local specialties to take home and try. It truly felt like visiting a friend's home – so heartwarming. This trip to Wuyuan was so much more comfortable because of this guesthouse. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Wuyuan, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip. You won't regret it!

The room was very spacious and had two bathrooms. We came with kids, and during the New Year's Day holiday, rooms were scarce, so we could only book this suite with a private hot spring. An extra bed would have cost an additional 200, but the sofa in the living room was perfectly sleepable for one person, and they provided bedding for free. The private hot spring in the room was very convenient and relaxing. Parking was easy, and both the front desk and room service were very enthusiastic. We plan to come back during the off-season.

The Hengmao Dream Times shopping complex is also nearby, offering a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. This combination of metro access and entertainment options makes the hotel an excellent base for exploring Nanchang. The hotel itself feels new and well maintained. The lobby is welcoming and efficient, and check-in was smooth and straightforward. The staff members were friendly and professional, and although their English ability was limited, they tried their best to assist, and translation apps worked fine. I appreciated their polite attitude and willingness to help with directions and local advice. My room was clean, bright, and modern. The design is simple but stylish, with comfortable bedding and practical furniture. The bed was large and supportive, with fresh linens and soft pillows that made for a good night’s sleep. The room also had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a small desk area, which was helpful for doing some work during my stay. The bathroom was also very good—compact but functional, with a nice shower, clean towels, and basic toiletries provided. Everything worked well, and hot water was consistent. This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Ganzhou for business. It's conveniently located with good transport links, right next to Zefeng Center which has plenty of restaurants. It's definitely my first choice for business trips to Ganzhou. This time, the front desk upgraded me to an executive room, which was much larger. The in-room facilities were top-notch. The hotel has a huge lounge area on the first floor, and a bar and tea room with private rooms on the 45th floor. The breakfast was very extensive, with many Cantonese dishes. Executive room guests also get afternoon tea on the 13th floor. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the hotel's service.

The whole scenic area is quite nice, though it involves a lot of up-and-down climbing, making it less suitable for people with mobility issues. The hotel facilities are also good, clean and well-kept. For breakfast, children over 1.2 meters tall are charged an extra 58 RMB, which is a bit pricey as young kids don't eat that much 😭. The hotel rooms are scattered throughout the scenic area; some are closer to the guesthouse center, while others are further away and closer to the entertainment hub—you can choose based on your preference. There are shuttle buses to certain spots, but you still have to walk down the stairs yourself. Overall, it's a great experience and well worth staying at a hotel inside the scenic area. There are three types of hotels: Xianshu, Yangxian Village, and the Cliff Hotel.

I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets. 2. Facilities & Amenities: The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay. 3. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables. 4. Service: The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. 5. Location: The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city. The Drawbacks: 1. Room Size: While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped. 2. Limited Dining Options: While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery. 3. Noise: Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers. Who It’s Best For:

This hotel is perfect for families with kids, especially since they have family rooms! The room environment is excellent – clean, quiet, and very comfortable. A huge bonus is the thoughtful shuttle service to scenic spots provided by the owner, which saved us the hassle of parking and rushing. The staff are warm and welcoming, and their service is attentive and thorough. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend for families!

I want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle. My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating. The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems. We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints. The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket. Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view. We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat. Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together. The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them. The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them. The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.
