The hotel service staff is just amazing from the front desk , waitress at the breakfast restaurants and also security staff. They really make you feel welcome. Rooms are not new but still maintained well. They could do better if they replace the carpet with a flooring that can be more easily cleaned. The location is very good. The well known Sunji Bao restaurant is just opposite and you can take public bus to tourist sites just outside the hotel. The buffet breast is just awesome. Some reviews say that they are just ok, but the reality is not like that. Have attached some photos to show the buffet spread.

We spent out last night of our trip at Kempinski Taiyuan, and it did not disappoint. The receptionist upgraded up to a room on a high floor with a view of the city. They also gave us fresh fruits and free minibar. They had everything you would expect of a five star hotel, and the location is in a bustling part of the city. Would definitely come back.

The Garden The hotel is a bit dated and the rooms are on the smaller side, but the heated toilet seats were a definite plus. While there's no view from the hotel, its location is absolutely fantastic. Shanhua Temple is right around the corner, along with popular restaurants like Xijindao and Zini. A short stroll also leads to a bustling commercial pedestrian street, where you'll find a Foxiaoban concept store. The Garden's restaurant is also quite renowned. Dishes such as Ban Huanghua, Garden Scented Chicken, Crispy Fried Hairtail, and Lamb's Head Meat were all very tasty. However, the much-talked-about walnut pie was a bit on the sweet side. There was some noise from a nearby construction site operating in the mornings and evenings. Given the hotel's older, open-atrium design where rooms surround a central void, noise from the 2nd-floor restaurant's early morning cleaning could also be heard. Despite these minor issues, overall, it was a good stay. The service was warm and friendly, and it's incredibly convenient for exploring nearby attractions.

For this trip to Pingyao Ancient City, I chose the upscale Pingyao Libai Hotel. As expected of a Jinjiang Inn hotel, the entire hotel was spacious and bright, with warm and modern rooms. All the amenities were in place, making for a very comfortable stay. Parking was very convenient for those traveling by car, thanks to the hotel's on-site parking lot, which was in a prime location. The hotel environment was beautiful, and the staff were warm and attentive. Getting to Pingyao Ancient City was easy; it's not far from the West Gate and North Gate, just a short walk away. There are also many dining options nearby in the evenings. Staying at the Libai Hotel when visiting Pingyao Ancient City is a perfect choice!

Environment: The hotel is located near Baima Temple Mountain, offering a beautiful, elegant, comfortable, and peaceful setting. Facilities: The hotel opened in May and is fully equipped. The in-room hot spring pool is very comfortable, with ample water flow, fast Wi-Fi, and a wide selection of complimentary drinks in the mini bar. Breakfast is also quite varied. Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean, and the hot spring center is also spotless! Service: The entire hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is excellent, both in the guest rooms and in the restaurant. The front desk staff is very welcoming and will personally explain the hotel facilities and escort them to your room. They also give a small gift upon check-out. My whole family is very satisfied with this hotel and will stay again! Fengyang Yitang Hot Spring 4-Hour Ticket (Includes a meal of your choice and unlimited fruit and drinks): The hot springs aren't large, but they are clean and provide ample leisure and entertainment. Food and drinks upstairs are all free.

Hygiene: Excellent. All towels, bath towels, and bathrobes come in sealed bags, which made me feel very secure using them. Facilities: Excellent. Although it's an older hotel, the showerheads show their age but are very well-maintained and work perfectly. Environment: The location is great. The room card gives access to a small gate leading to Yingze Lake Park. It's a nice two to three-kilometer loop for a leisurely stroll. Service: Excellent. They offered complimentary welcome fruits, and you just scan a QR code to request more amenities. There's also a delivery robot that brings food right to your door, all very convenient. Suggestion: I hope they can switch from instant Nestlé coffee to pour-over coffee bags. Instant coffee feels too low-end and doesn't match the hotel's overall quality.

The environment is very good. It is really beautiful to go in this season. The space capsule is not bad to live in. The air is also very good. The space capsule is smart home. The hotel is located in a new commercial center with convenient transportation and parking. The breakfast is also good. There is a local delicacy beef meatball noodles next to it. The hotel recommends chicken soup rice noodles for breakfast. The room overlooks the Fen River, which has a nice view at night. The room is elegantly decorated and meets the hotel's star standards. I will book here again next time I have the chance.

There's free parking available, and the location is very convenient – a direct passage on the first floor leads straight to the shopping mall, which was super handy. Highly recommend it! The hotel's breakfast offered a wide variety of healthy and delicious options. The Chaoshan cuisine at the Chinese restaurant on the 5th floor was incredibly authentic; my husband even said it tasted just like his mom's cooking! The restaurant staff were also very welcoming and enthusiastic. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Taiyuan.
