The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the ancient city. The facilities are of a high standard; although a bit older, they are well-maintained. The room was spacious, bright, and airy, facing the ancient city with beautiful night views. The hotel breakfast offered local specialties, including knife-cut noodles and lamb offal soup, all readily available. The local farm milk, in particular, had an amazing taste. During my stay, I accidentally left my coffee cup in the restaurant. Ms. Zhang Ruiqi, the assistant manager, went above and beyond to help me find it and return it to my room, despite the trouble I caused. Her warmth and professionalism were truly impressive.

I'd wanted to stay here since my first night in Taiyuan, and I finally made it! 🌟 Even though the Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan is a bit older, an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari, right? 🌟 The service was excellent. We sent our luggage over before we even arrived, with the driver. When we called the front desk, they immediately helped us arrange everything. Upon arrival, we just gave our name and our bags were brought right over. It was very thoughtful and heartwarming. 🌟 The breakfast was delicious, and they had my favorite cucumber juice. Breakfast ends at 10:30 AM.

Our group of four went to the Shanxi First Hot Spring Hotel, thinking it would be conveniently located within the Wang Family Courtyard. We ended up loving it! The hotel environment was superb! 👍🏻 Getting up early to climb the city wall and see the swirling mist was like stepping into a fairyland. The air was fresh, the hot spring water smooth, and the night view even more beautiful! Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was plentiful! Everyone is planning to come back! The manager, Xiao Wang, and my husband hit it off immediately, and he even gave us souvenir coins!

It has all the essentials and is very clean. The mattress was comfortable. Of course, it can't compare to high-end or luxury hotels. Its main advantage is its excellent location; it's very convenient for exploring, and you can easily pop back for a rest when you get tired. **Service:** The staff were very service-oriented. When we arrived, there weren't many guests, and the service was very attentive. **Breakfast:** It's not a buffet; it's a fixed-menu breakfast, like a 'nine-grid' style. It looks very appealing, and the taste is decent enough to fill you up. Overall, it's a good stay. Naturally, for this price point within the ancient city, you shouldn't compare it to hotels of the same price outside. It's incomparable, primarily due to its superb geographical advantage.

Although the hotel is old, it's clean and tidy, and even the toilet is electric. However, the bathroom ventilation is really poor, so those prone to an upset stomach should be careful. The online rumor that guests don't have to wait for a table at the restaurant is false; you still need to go downstairs at 4 PM to get a number and wait until 5:30 PM for dinner service to start. The breakfast is indeed rich and delicious, and the coffee is freshly made by a dedicated barista. The bathing area, though small, is very clean. As soon as someone finishes showering, a staff member immediately comes to clean it. The only minor drawback is that the water in the hot tub was a bit too cool. The turndown service giving only one 'Crispy Shark' snack for two people was confusing. Overall, it's good. The location is superb, and you can walk to all the major attractions.

My college classmate came to Datong for a trip, and I booked this room for her. As a long-established luxury hotel in Datong, the facilities, service, and environment were all quite good. The breakfast was plentiful, including Datong specialties like knife-cut noodles and lamb offal, and the food was delicious. Worth staying at multiple times!

The cloud-view room was great, spacious with a super large, comfortable bed. The high-altitude views were stunning, overlooking the lake. It's close to all the attractions, and the food scene is not to be missed. Breakfast was rich and varied. The staff, especially one waitress, was very enthusiastic; when I asked about a certain dish, she thoughtfully brought me a bowl to try. The lobby staff were also very polite and greeted us warmly. Housekeeping staff were helpful, explaining that if we needed anything, we just had to call service. I even left an earring in the hotel, and when I called, they found it right away. Although it wasn't valuable enough to ship, they offered to keep it for three months, so I can pick it up anytime. 👍

You can spot the hotel right from the traffic light at the North Gate of the Ancient City Wall, making it perfect for visiting attractions like the Ancient City Wall, Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, and Daiwang Mansion. Secondly, the hotel itself is very welcoming. There's a children's play area and a coffee shop on the first floor. The rooms are genuinely clean and quiet. The air conditioning vents are built-in, so it's not blowing directly on you, which is very comfortable. Each tissue even has a different blessing on it, and the facilities are all very well-equipped. Also, the sliced noodles at the restaurant are delicious! They're much more to my taste than those at Dongfang Sliced Noodles, for example. We checked in on the evening of the 29th, which was during their soft opening, so there weren't many guests. However, they still diligently prepared breakfast according to our preferences after asking what we wanted. Hats off to them! Finally, the service is truly exceptional! I called in the morning of check-in to reserve a parking spot, and in the evening, they asked about our breakfast preferences for the next day. There was bottled water available in the hallway, and they patiently answered every single question. The experience was truly, truly excellent. To sum it up, I wholeheartedly recommend it!
