The rooms were clean and tidy. The front desk staff and housekeeping were incredibly warm and attentive, patiently answering all our questions. Before our arrival, they noted we were traveling with family and made sure to arrange our rooms as close together as possible. Seeing that we had children, they thoughtfully provided kids' toothbrushes and slippers. Upon check-out, they even gave us a small gift of berry tea. From booking to check-in and departure, we truly experienced the Hampton by Hilton's high level of management and professional service from their staff. It's a fantastic hotel, and I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance. Despite the language barrier, I truly appreciate （洋蜻）your patience and thoughtfulness in providing us with important travel information for seniors, as well as your valuable and heartwarming advice—all without causing us any inconvenience. Although we stayed for only one night, your 洋蜻careful guidance saved us a great deal of time and effort on our trip to Tianmen Mountain and the National Forest Park, helping us avoid unnecessary detours. We had a very warm and beautiful stay at Baithe Wharf, which was far beyond our expectations, with incredibly welcoming hosts who explained everything about the town in detail, greeted us with a thoughtful plate of little oranges, provided amazing rooms equipped with luxury features including advanced toilets and a breathtaking waterfall view, arranged a delicious vegetarian breakfast for us the next day, and even organized seamless transport to and from the station, making the entire experience truly memorable and highly recommendable.

The location is excellent being at the scenic spot itself. That's a shop selling noodles buns and snacks right beside the hotel. I stayed on the 5th floor and the view was excellent. The only thing is there is no elevator and I have to climb up the flights upstairs. So it is not recommended for those who have problems climbing. You can ask to stay at level one though when you book and the owner will accommodate. They also helped to carry my luggage up and down the flight of stairs. The room is very comfortable and there's a projector where we can watch movies. There will be no more noise from the pub after 11:30 pm. There's air conditioning and heating in the room. One thing to note transport is very difficult to get from the train station to the hotel. So bad to arrange pick up and send off with the hotel beforehand. Difficulty to get transport is a norm in Phoenix ancient town.

Five-star rating | Sheraton Changde Stay Experience Beyond satisfied! The front desk service was warm and efficient, making for a seamless check-in. The room was spacious and tidy, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering lake views, and the Sweet Sleeper bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was extensive, and the Changde rice noodles were absolutely amazing. The 24-hour gym and pool facilities were complete, offering a fantastic experience. The location is close to Wanda Plaza, making travel and dining super convenient. I'll definitely come again!

The service was excellent, and the room was clean and tidy with a unique decor style, making it a perfect stay. It's super close to Wuyi Square, and the subway station is literally right next to the hotel—just a minute's walk! Getting to Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain was really convenient, and Taiping Street is also nearby. The front desk staff even recommended some great restaurants and photo spots. It was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Changsha.

We loved our short stay. Location is perfect as only few minutes walk to cable car station to visit Tianmen mountains. Local bus to Avatar mountains departs near the hotel. Plenty local food around as well as McDonalds and Starbucks round the corner. Room had nice bathtube inside the room which has nice views of surroding buildings. Will recommend staying in here 🙂

The rooms themselves are a highlight: • Immaculately Clean: The housekeeping standards are top-notch. • Modern Design: The decor is chic and functional. • Quality Sleep: The bed was exceptionally comfortable, paired with great soundproofing that guaranteed a restful night's sleep despite being in a busy area. Highly recommended for travelers who want a high-quality, comfortable stay in the center of all the action!

Honestly, the room was nice but was very noisy with the plane flew over occasionally during midnight. The hotel 3rd floor restaurants were not operating at night so THEY TURNED OFF THE ENTIRE FLOOR LIGHTS. Once you exit the lift, it’s pitch dark… They also turned off the lights for those conference rooms and corridors next to the washing machine areas at my room floor… It was so horrifying. Told the front desk, they said they will turn it on but nope. Nothing was done. While no other users but only our clothes were on self service washing, we returned within 10 mins after the washing timer completed. Shockingly noticed our clothes have started drying on incorrect setting. (We needed cold temp, slow spinning). It was the cleaner who “helped” us. It may be out of good wills but I personally find it inappropriate since no permissions were granted to touch or move our belongings.. The butler lady who contacted me through WeChat were also quite pushy on getting me to buy the tour tickets from her. She will keep reminding me to quickly make decisions on the ticket purchase… Intentions were questionable as my other hotel butler did not keep insisting. Nonetheless, she was still very helpful and responsive. When we arrived, there were no services and the front desk gave me the “you should have known how the hotel works” kind of look and instructed me with 2 lines:“ Breakfast at level 3, washing machine at level 5.”

The resort is a little tricky to get to if you hire DiDi so make sure to utilize their free pickup service from airport or train station. They were very accommodating. We booked the hotel last min and they were able to arrange a driver to pick us up on the same day. Overall the stay was very comfortable and it’s located in a small village just steps away from one of the 5 entrances to the National Forest. We definitely enjoyed the small town feel. It was a nice trip to decompress after the lively, bright lights and bustling streets of Chongqing (which was also great!). The food they serve and free breakfast was very good. Will definitely stay here again when we revisit Zhangjiajie.
