I stayed at Citynote Hotel (Nanyue King Branch) for six nights and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent – just a short walk from the Nanyue King Museum, with the metro and bus stops very close by, so getting to Beijing Road, Shamian Island, and other attractions was quick and easy. The rooms are modern, minimalistic, and spacious, with super comfortable beds and good soundproofing – I slept really well each night. Housekeeping did a thorough job, and the front desk staff were warm and professional, even recommending a few authentic local Cantonese restaurants nearby. Breakfast wasn't fancy but hit the spot, with congee, noodles, and rice rolls that felt very local. The only downside was the Wi-Fi – it was noticeably slow and a bit unstable, especially in the evenings, making video streaming and file uploads laggy. If you depend on a fast connection, that could be frustrating. Still, this is a minor flaw in an otherwise great value hotel. I'd recommend it to travellers who care about location and cleanliness, but business guests might want to bring a mobile hotspot as backup. I'd happily stay here again.

As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel. However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

It's within walking distance of high-end shopping malls, subway stations, and major office buildings, making it incredibly convenient for both business travelers and leisure shoppers. From the room, the city skyline offers a panoramic view, with lush greenery complementing the towering buildings, showcasing the perfect blend of urban prosperity and natural beauty. The front desk staff member was warm and attentive during check-in, even offering us breakfast vouchers, a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more pleasant.

The location is super convenient, right next to the subway station. It's also close to shopping malls like Guomao and Vanke, so it's great for shopping. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk staff was very responsive to all our requests. I highly recommend it for your 51 (May Day) holiday trip!

The environment was cozy, tranquil, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The service was thoughtful and responsive, handling requests quickly. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's very close to Pazhou, near Keyun Road metro station, just an 8-minute walk away, and there's a bus stop right downstairs. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. In the evenings, you can even take a walk along the Pearl River to enjoy the river views. The room decor is tasteful and elegant, with a modern minimalist style that still feels cozy. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the cleaning was very thorough, ensuring a neat and clean environment. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the chef enthusiastically recommended dishes, which showed great care. The heated pool wasn't crowded, making for a very comfortable night swim. The hotel's location, room facilities, and hygiene standards all exceeded my expectations, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely choose to stay at the East Stanton Hotel again on my next visit to Guangzhou.
