Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Check in and out was smooth, although there was a queue for check in, probably as it was a long weekend. Very accomodating to.our requests (we had a total of 6 rooms). Room was clean with usual amenities. Good water pressure and cold aircon, except for one room which was at the end. That one was a bit warm so suggest don't take end rooms unless you get cold easily. Walking in you'll find a mini sitting room with a couch & tv. Partial glass partition between this and the bedroom. Breakfast was alright, quite a big space and nicely done up. Appreciate that the mains were double sided so people were spread out. A bit slow on the plate clearing but understood it was a busy period. This is a non-smoking hotel so if you need to smoke will have to go to front of hotel or to the 9th flr car park. There's a 7-11 on the ground floor as well as a nonya restaurant and a 'kopi tiam' sort of eatery with nice nasi lemak. Overall it was a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again.

Recently I had the pleasure of staying at The Majestic Malacca and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The accommodation was exceptionally comfortable and well-maintained. The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, making my stay very relaxing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend The Majestic Malacca to anyone looking for quality accommodation. I look forward to my next visit!

We had a pleasant stay overall. The ambience was nice, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Love the welcome drink! Just a small feedback for improvement: the coffee machine, cup area was a bit dusty, and we weren’t know that items like toothbrush and shower cap were provided and placed inside the drawer. We only found out after going out to purchase them from nearby shops. It might help to make this more visible or inform guests during check-in. On a positive note, we were told by staff that there’s a new parking space beside the hotel, which is much more convenient and safe compared to the previous one behind the hotel that felt quite dark and unsafe. The buggy service was also provided from hotel to parking and vice versa. Fast and efficient, which we really appreciated that we no need to walk, especially during heavy rain and night time. We also liked that they sell fizzy bath bombs, a nice touch for a relaxing stay. Overall, still a great experience. Thank you!

I recently stayed at Birkin International Hotel Malacca and had a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel feels modern, clean, and comfortable from the moment you walk into the lobby. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the stay. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and nicely designed with comfortable bedding and good sound insulation, which made it easy to rest after a long day exploring Malacca. The bathroom was also clean and equipped with essential amenities. Parking was also convenient and easily accessible. The breakfast selection was decent with both local and international choices. The dining area was clean and organized, though it could get slightly crowded during peak hours. Hotel facilities such as the swimming pool and gym were well-kept and suitable for families and business travelers alike. Overall, Birkin International Hotel Malacca offers good value for money with comfortable rooms, attentive service, and a convenient location. I would recommend it to travelers visiting Malacca for either business or leisure, and I would consider staying here again in the future.

Pro: A good stay at a very affordable price point. Having stayed at other hotels in this budget range, I wasn't expecting much, but the service and breakfast truly set this place apart.I was impressed by the breakfast spread.I expected a simple meal like nasi lemak since its a budget hotel, but the variety and quality were outstanding.Keep up the great work! Cons: Upon arrival, there was a unpleasent odor coming from the bathroom. However,I appreciate the staff’s quick response in sending a cleaner immediately to resolve the issue.

I like this hotel, so near to Jonker street, good food, history and shopping. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is like a museum, lots of historical items, Melacca history, displays and awesome experience of an peranakan house. I appreciate there is free parking and most unexpected... there are EV charging points. We had a wonderful experience, will be coming back again.

This was our fifth stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. 1. Check-in The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite and welcoming. I had requested a Queen Bed room instead of Twin Beds. However, I was informed that because my booking was made at the last minute (one day before check-in), only a Twin Bed room was available as all Queen Bed rooms were fully occupied. We accepted the explanation and proceeded with the room provided. 2. Room Condition Upon entering the room, the first issue we noticed was the air conditioning. Despite setting the fan speed to high, the room remained warm and the air conditioner was not cooling properly. 3. Bathroom There appeared to be a blockage beneath the sink, as water was pooling around the sink and toilet area. In addition, the shower holder was broken while we were using the shower. We chose not to complain and continued our stay. 4. Room Door & Bathroom Door The bathroom door could not be closed properly unless it was pulled and pushed firmly. The more serious issue occurred the next morning after breakfast when our room door became stuck and could not be opened. We contacted maintenance, and the team arrived to inspect the problem. From approximately 8:00 AM onwards, we were unable to access our room. Around 8:30 AM, the maintenance team requested approval from the Front Office to move us to another room because the repair would require additional time. However, they informed that changing rooms would incur an additional charge because we were checking out on the same day. I strongly disagree with this decision. From 8:30 AM until our checkout time at 12:00/12:30 PM, we were still paying guests of the hotel. The room issue was caused by a defect on the hotel’s side, and guests should not be charged extra to move rooms due to problems beyond their control. The Most Disappointing Part During check-in, we were informed that no Queen Bed Deluxe Rooms were available. However, while the maintenance team was accessing our room through the connecting room next door, we discovered that the adjacent room was vacant and equipped with a Queen Bed. If the actual reason was that the room was unavailable due to maintenance, it would have been more professional and honest to explain that from the beginning rather than simply saying all Queen Bed rooms were fully occupied. This experience has left us very disappointed. Every time we visit Melaka, this hotel has always been our preferred choice. However, after this stay, we have decided not to return. I appreciate the hospitality shown by the staff during check-in, but I sincerely hope the hotel will improve both its facilities and service standards. Thank you.

During Chinese New Year, there were no Chinese-speaking staff, which made communication a bit difficult for those not fluent in English, as the foreign staff struggled to understand. The hotel facilities are a bit old-fashioned, so don't set your expectations too high; it might not be worth the price. The sea view room actually offered a pretty average view; in fact, the rooms on the opposite side might even offer a better night view. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety.

AAhmad Faez Bin ZailandThe atmosphere is calm and ideal for healing. Not crowded at all. The buggy service is very quick to pick up guests from their rooms. The mini zoo package is a bit pricey, but the tour guide uncle was very engaging and informative. He shared a lot of knowledge. Breakfast was only a partial à la carte and buffet, perhaps because there weren't many guests, so there wasn't a wide choice of food. In room 3020, there was a leakage in the shower between the shaft and the ceiling. The pantry floor felt a bit fragile and not 'solid', which could potentially cause injury. Overall, everything else was fine.

HhappylgThis hotel absolutely deserves a full five-star rating for its location, service, and ambiance! Upon arrival, the front desk thoughtfully offered a smoothie and a cold towel, instantly refreshing us from the scorching travel heat. After check-in, a staff member personally escorted us to our room, and we even received meticulous turndown service in the evening – a truly excellent experience. The location is also impeccable. Directly across the river is the famous Dutch Square (Red Square), and it's only about a 200-meter walk to Jonker Street and the night market, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. What surprised me the most was discovering, while looking through old photos, that I had unknowingly captured this hotel in a picture way back in 2012 when I first visited Malacca. To reunite with it years later as a guest feels like a rare and wonderful serendipitous encounter. Highly recommended!
