Guest UserThe hotel in Bukhara truly made an impression! I'll start with breakfast – the buffet was excellent, with a great variety of dishes, all fresh and delicious. It was a real pleasure to start the morning with such a breakfast.
I particularly want to highlight the interior and design – everything is tastefully thought out, with a consistent style. The many pleasant little details complement each other, creating a special atmosphere of comfort and harmony. It's clear that a lot of heart went into designing this place.
The cleanliness in the room and throughout the entire hotel was impeccable. The bathroom deserves a special mention: all the tiles gleamed, with not a single trace of grime or streaks, making it very pleasant to use. Among the small touches that immediately impress: they provided slippers, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and a generous three towels – no need to ask for anything extra. There was also shampoo and shower gel, a bidet shower, and toilet paper.
In the room, there was a kettle and a refrigerator, and bottled water was provided. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room comfortably cool despite the heat outside. They even carried our luggage up to the room, so we didn't have to haul anything ourselves.
I especially want to commend the administrators – they were very polite, always smiling, and ready to help and advise on any matter. The service here is simply wonderful ❤️ The attentive staff, pleasant atmosphere, and attention to every detail truly stood out. After a previous experience in another city, this hotel was a real breath of fresh air. I definitely recommend it!

Alison’s Silk Road TravelsI chose to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had positive reviews by Trip members and it had an outdoor swimming pool. It was also great value for money for solo travellers. I arrived early than expected at check in and staff were ready to greet me! Wonderful reception staff! The hotel was bigger than expected and the reception area was very modern and clean with nicely decorated interior. I was shown to my room which was on the second floor. I stayed in a single persons room 205. It was bigger than expected with a big bathroom. There were extras like a bath, comfy chairs to chill. I had a fridge, kettle and a full size mirror. I like a full size mirror. The room also had air conditioning which was very good and very quiet. I had a view of the front of the hotel from my window that was pleasant. My room smelled very pleasant and was a non smoking room. My bed was very comfortable for my back. Breakfast was a buffet with a lot of Uzbekistan food which I had never tried before. It was a very busy breakfast area. There was a big range of different foods including fruits and cheeses. I liked the spinach parcels they were very tasty. A lot of the food was homemade. I thought it was delicious. There are a range of buses that offer great service to solo travellers arriving on the train. I caught a Marshuktra from the train station number 378. The Marshuktra dropped me at the bus stop on the road for No 1 bus that stops right outside the hotel. You can also take bus 7/33 All very easy and cheaper than a taxi. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because it has a very nice swimming pool that I used in the afternoon after a long morning sight seeing. I would highly recommend visiting Sitorai Mohi Hosa which is a short distance from the hotel and you can take bus 7/33 or walk. It’s an amazing visit if you are interested in art, culture and architecture. The hotel is very convenient for solo travellers who are a bit too old for Hostels! And like a cold swim after a long day sightseeing without breaking the piggy bank! The first pictures are of my hotel room and the front on the hotel. The other pictures relate to my visits and walks in the local area. I hope you find this helpful. I wanted to stay longer in the hotel but Trip would not provide additional extensions to my trip.

The hotel design was quite unique. When I checked in, they told me they'd upgraded me to a suite, but I had specifically requested twin beds. In the end, they just added an extra bed, which was pretty annoying, and it wasn't comfortable at all. The room's soundproofing was terrible; I could hear everything the neighbors were saying clearly. There was no view from the window either. Honestly, I don't think it's necessary to stay at this hotel.
The best thing about it is probably that it's within walking distance of the Old City of Bukhara.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Boutique Old City, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Perfectly located in the heart of the old town, the hotel offers convenient access to major historical attractions, local restaurants, and vibrant الأسواق, all within walking distance. This made it incredibly easy to explore the cultural charm of the city without needing transportation.
From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the team went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed. They were always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, and even small personal requests, which added a thoughtful touch to the overall experience.
The room itself was beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comfort. It was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with attention to detail in both décor and amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas.
One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination.
Overall, my stay at Boutique Old City exceeded expectations. It combines excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation in a way that truly enhances the travel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the old city.

Bannit_kaThe hotel could be much better if they improved their service! Overall, it's pleasant with a nice design.
Let's start with the pros:
+ Great location, with a bank nearby for currency exchange, a coffee shop across the street, two decent fast-food places, and a small supermarket next to the hotel selling nuts, dried fruits by weight, and tea (prices are generally like a market). Tourist attractions are only 100 rubles and about 5-7 minutes away by taxi.
+ Good breakfast with a wide selection, almost everything you could want, and tasty.
+ The room was clean. I can't comment on regular cleaning as I requested it at reception for a specific time, and they accommodated me.
+ The indoor/outdoor pool is clean, and there's nobody there in the morning.
Cons:
- After 12 PM, the pool gets crowded. Local guys were smoking right on the sun loungers, and no staff member said anything to them.
- Upon check-in, the administrator gave me a room that didn't match my booking. I booked an upgraded room, but I was given a 'budget economy' room on the first floor with a view of a concrete wall and absolutely no natural light! (Photos attached). The administrator refused to give me another room for free, claiming they had no rooms. However, after I contacted Trip.com support, he miraculously found another room category for me without any extra charge! A woman before me had the same situation, so it seems they try to scam guests by initially giving them a bad room and then charging extra to upgrade to the one they should have had in the first place. It was a bit stressful, but the issue was resolved in the end.
- The shower barely worked; you could only wash under the tap as there was absolutely no water pressure in the showerhead.
- The air conditioning only worked on maximum power; it didn't work at all or would switch off on the lowest setting, which was inconvenient.
Hotel management needs to control staff who are ruining the hotel's reputation by assigning rooms that don't match bookings, thus spoiling the mood of guests who paid to relax! I also recommend partial renovation or replacement of the plumbing. The hotel looks solid from the outside, but there are clear management shortcomings internally. Fix these issues, and it will significantly improve occupancy and the number of positive reviews! It's all in your hands!
I've also included photos of the room I eventually received after the dispute.

If you're visiting with the goal of seeing all the historical sights, then this hotel is definitely the one to choose! The location is perfect, and you won't need any transportation; everything is within easy walking distance. You can stroll leisurely, sit in cafes, and enjoy ice cream on a bench in the shade. The room is tastefully decorated, all the furniture and fixtures are new, there's a large TV, a kettle, water, and all bathroom amenities. I particularly want to highlight the breakfast – it's simply amazing how delicious everything is! I wholeheartedly recommend it in Bukhara! Afterwards, you can shop at the central market, which is right opposite, and enjoy shashlik and pilaf at the cafe at reasonable prices.

If anyone is wondering where to stay in Bukhara, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location, hospitality, cleanliness, food, and security were all top-notch. In particular, the room's interior design was so beautiful that it really made me feel like I was traveling in a wonderful city. I also requested a room with a bathtub, and they provided a very spacious one where I could comfortably stretch my legs. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and if I ever have the chance to visit Bukhara again, I will definitely book this place.

We enjoyed a brief, one-night stay at this charming hotel, and it left a positive impression. The room was spotless and well-maintained, offering comfort and a cozy atmosphere. Its location was truly unbeatable—just a few steps from the main square in the heart of the old city, making it the perfect base for exploring the historical sights and vibrant local culture.
The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure our stay was smooth. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who graciously covered our taxi fare when I didn’t have smaller banknotes on hand—an unexpected gesture that truly reflected the hotel's commitment to hospitality.
Breakfast was modest but satisfactory, offering a simple continental selection that provided an easy, light start to the day. While it wasn’t particularly remarkable, it served its purpose for a short stay.
Overall, our time at the hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The combination of its prime location, clean accommodations, and attentive service made for an enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for travelers seeking convenience and a warm welcome in the city’s historic center.
PS please put tea bags in original covers and add coffee into drinks selection.

NarrilexAn absolutely wonderful hotel that left us with absolutely wonderful memories!
The Lyabi Hauz Hotel is located just a stone's throw from Lyabi Hauz in the old historic city of Bukhara. The streets are narrow, nestled between closely packed houses, often other hotels, and cars are not allowed. So the taxi driver dropped us off near the edge of the old city, and we then wheeled our suitcases to the hotel. Apparently, the Lyabi Hauz Hotel is a former madrassa converted into a hotel. A small part of the hotel is occupied by the Aivan restaurant, which apparently serves primarily European dishes, but at lunch you can try Bukhara pilaf, which is not on the menu.
The location right next to the tourist center is a definite advantage. It was very convenient to walk to the nearby attractions, of which there are plenty. We also walked to Samonid Park and the Ark Fortress.
Our room was comfortable, with windows overlooking an inner courtyard that could be screened off with curtains. The Wi-Fi worked well. The only downsides I could find were that the bathroom exhaust fan was loud and turned on with the light, and that there wasn't enough space in the bathroom to hang two sets of towels—there weren't enough hooks or anything else to hang four towels. But those are minor details.
We really enjoyed our stay and relaxation at this hotel, thank you!

Guest UserI am so glad to have chosen this guesthouse. It was our best experience among all the other hotels. The owner, Iha, was so hospitable.
The rooms were not big given that there were 3 beds but it was comfortable. The toilet was clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated too.
I was having sinus problems and Iha made a pot of mint tea for me, complimentary. Very kind!
He also took us on a tour to the Summer Palace.
Som reviews has said it was difficult to locate. That’s because the entrance is facing a side lane. I am putting a pic here so that you can recognise how it look like as your taxi drive past.
