"I booked the SkyCity Marriott Hotel for a BGI event at AsiaWorld-Expo. The hotel has direct access to the venue, which was incredibly convenient. Given how expensive real estate is in Hong Kong, the room was small but well-equipped, clean, and tidy. The outdoor pool was also nice. It looked just like the pictures online. The free shuttle bus to Tung Chung was also very handy. Overall, I was very satisfied."

"I was very satisfied with the hotel's service. We lost our HK/Macau travel permits, but due to an urgent matter, I asked the staff for help. They found a supervisor and ordinary staff to help me search thoroughly. Although they didn't find them, they informed me promptly. In the morning, because we were in a hurry, the waiter helped us check out and store our luggage, and was very patient. It's a pity I was too rushed to give a tip (which is voluntary). And knowing we were going to the police office, they also told me where the nearest one was and how to get there. I'm really grateful 🙏. Plus, it offered great value for money. We stayed in a suite with a fantastic view from the window, overlooking the Avenue of Stars. Most importantly, it's very close to the MTR station, just a 1-2 minute walk. There were also welcome chocolates, a handwritten letter, and champagne, though it wasn't very tasty, haha. The hotel had quite a lot of amenities; I was surprised to find a washing machine and a microwave, so we could heat up food we bought from 7-Eleven at the MTR station (a big plus)! However, there was one minor issue in our room: the small door for the refrigerator's freezer compartment was broken, but it didn't affect its use. The pillows were quite soft; if you prefer something else, you can call ahead to request it, hehe. Although hotels in Hong Kong are not supposed to provide toiletries now, they still do. I thought the bathtub was quite large, but there was no plastic liner provided, so I'd recommend bringing your own. But I still haven't figured out how to use the item in picture one, I can't pull it open 😭. One more important thing: if you go out at night from the MTR station, you'll find that the center closes (there are small doors, but you can't get in). In that case, walk to the right, and there will be an entrance. The instructions are below; I recorded them when I was bored (we went to see Chen Li's concert then, it was great)."

"The location is fantastic, right above Jordan MTR station. It's super convenient for getting around. For Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, the room is quite spacious at 22 square meters, especially for a king-size bed room that also includes a sofa. They provide two bottles of drinking water daily, which is a nice touch since many Hong Kong hotels don't. Plus, there's a complimentary mini-bar on the first day of check-in. Downstairs, you'll find plenty of options for dining and shopping. There's also a Wellcome supermarket nearby for fruit, drinks, milk, and more, which is really handy. "The hotel's location is good, close to the MTR station, and it's relatively easy to hail a taxi outside. The hotel exterior and the lobby on the first floor are beautiful. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, listening to my requests for a higher floor and sea view, and helped me adjust to a higher floor. Due to the hotel's location, you can't see the core Victoria Harbour view, but the regular sea view is still nice. I didn't bring a charger adapter, but thankfully the room was equipped with a three-prong slow charger for mainland Chinese phones. The downsides are that the indoor hardware facilities are relatively poor: the room key card slot wasn't very sensitive and needed multiple attempts to work; the showerhead leaked; the bathroom light flickered for several seconds when first turned on; the sink faucet was quite noisy when turned on; and the air conditioning vent made a loud noise. Overall, the experience was still good, I'd give it 80 points. I hope they can continue to improve."

"The air conditioning in the room was a bit too cold at night, and I couldn't figure out how to adjust it. I was practically freezing! 😳 Luckily, I could scan a QR code to access their system and request an extra blanket from the auntie. She even helped us adjust the AC, which I'm super grateful for! 🙏🥹 This hotel is conveniently located near McDonald's, Wellcome Supermarket, 7-Eleven, a fruit store, and a pharmacy, all of which offer great value. There are also a few delicious noodle shops and 'bing sutt' (local diners) nearby. I basically choose this hotel every time I visit Hong Kong."

Hotel near Wan Chai and Causeway Bay,Hong Kong
The Hari is an independent hospitality brand under Harilela Hotels Ltd. The second hotel under "The Hari" brand, The Hari Hong Kong seeks to inject modern luxury and social dynamism into the district, bridging the commercial pulse of Causeway Bay and the creative design scene of Wan Chai. The hotel comprises 210 guest rooms including three signature rooftop suites showcasing a layered approach to the design created by Tara Bernerd, the Founder and CEO of Tara Bernerd & Partners, a leading international interior architecture and design practice based in London. More than just a place to stay, The Hari Hong Kong will serve as the community’s living room, boasting a variety of social spaces including a lobby lounge, Zoku, a Japanese restaurant and terrace bar, and Lucciola, an Italian restaurant.

"The location is fantastic, offering a quiet retreat in the midst of the hustle and bustle. The new building has a stylish design, and I particularly loved the three-way separation of the washroom, toilet, and shower room. The guest room itself was quite spacious. I was thrilled to be assigned a high-floor room on the 23rd floor. There's a fantastic Wa So Cafe on the street corner, which I highly recommend for breakfast – super convenient every morning. It's just a 5-minute walk to the A11 airport bus stop, which is incredibly handy. The tram stop (Ding Ding) is about a 3-minute walk away, and you can reach Hysan Place and Times Square within roughly 500 meters on foot. The Exhibition Centre MTR station is about a 7-8 minute walk, mostly via pedestrian bridges, so you don't get too hot. Plus, you'll pass by Yoshinoya, 7-Eleven, and other convenient stores and eateries along the way. The only minor point I'd like to raise is regarding the two reception staff. They generally lacked courtesy, never greeting me when I entered or exited, almost as if they didn't see me. This is an area for improvement, especially concerning their service awareness."

Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong

8.3/10

Pros: 1. It's very close to the tram station and bus stop, and there's a supermarket and department store just across the street. The street with the bus stop also has many restaurants. (The Wellcome supermarket has very cheap water). The hotel provided a kettle, but I didn't dare drink the water (even though they said it was filtered), so I had to buy my own. 2. It's quiet, meaning the street side is peaceful. The bed is soft and the pillows are comfortable. The bathroom is very large with separate wet and dry zones. 3. The air conditioning works well and is stable. The hot and cold water in the bathroom is incredibly stable; it gets hot very quickly and stays hot for a long time. Cons: 1. The hotel is undergoing renovation, which is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026. However, I didn't hear any noise during my stay. Perhaps the floor I was on wasn't being renovated. (The staff did show me a warning sign about this before check-in). 2. You need to prepare HKD 500 for the deposit (room guarantee), which is refunded at check-out (you need to present the receipt). It didn't take long to get it back. 3. I booked a non-smoking room, but it still smelled of smoke. Maybe the smell wasn't completely eliminated. 4. The soundproofing within the hotel rooms isn't great, but it's not terrible either. You might occasionally hear things clearly.

💡 **Unbeatable Location:** 📍 378 Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei 🚇 4-6 min walk from Jordan Station Exit B1, 5 min walk to Yau Ma Tei Station. ✈️ A21 Airport Bus stops right outside, super convenient for airport transfers. Just one metro stop to Mong Kok! So much fun shopping at Sneaker Street!~ 🌃 **Food & Fun Nearby:** ▪️ Temple Street Night Market ➡️ 3-min walk ▪️ Tsim Sha Tsui / Avenue of Stars ➡️ 1 metro stop ▪️ 7-Eleven + Cha Chaan Teng + Starbucks right downstairs One-stop shop for late-night snacks and morning tea! A true paradise for night owls!✨ 🛏️ **Room Experience:** The two beds are spacious enough (which is impressive for Hong Kong! 😭) ✔️ Converter plug + toiletries provided ✔️ 90% cleanliness (small suggestion: dehumidification could be improved) ✔️ Front desk staff are super nice and luggage storage is free! ⚠️ **Heads-up Tips:** 1️⃣ Some room types have a musty smell, suggest choosing higher floors. 2️⃣ Room downgrades are common during peak season, confirm your room type in advance. 3️⃣ Soundproofing is average, light sleepers should bring earplugs. Overall, excellent value for money! Especially suitable for: 🔸 Explorers (all attractions within walking distance) 🔸 Foodies (tons of popular eateries downstairs) 🔸 Transit passengers (direct airport bus) Hong Kong hotels are generally expensive with small rooms, this one is truly a gem in the industry! 👏 The only minor flaw, which the hotel should address, is that the pillows are really uncomfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at WAKE Concept Hotel during my recent trip to Hong Kong. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station, making it very convenient to explore the city, visit attractions, and find local restaurants nearby. The hotel has a modern and stylish design, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Although the room size is compact, which is common in Hong Kong, the layout is efficient and provides everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were good. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. For travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and good-value hotel in a central location, WAKE Concept Hotel is an excellent choice. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong.

Wow, I was really impressed by the thoughtful touches the moment I walked in! For a central Hong Kong location, this hostel offers pretty good value for money. I did my homework before coming (once in Spain, I didn't plan ahead and almost got pickpocketed!). While Hong Kong's streets and alleys are narrow and prices are high, the experience here is much better than the guesthouses I stayed at in Korea and Japan. I can even say this in my (bad) Cantonese – I'm a huge TVB fan! The transportation is super convenient; just take the elevator from Tsim Sha Tsui Exit D1 directly to the 13th floor, and the front desk is right there (it's very noticeable, and the chubby guy at the front desk is quite cute). I carefully checked my booking details before arriving and contacted the hostel 48 hours in advance, so the self-check-in process was incredibly smooth and easy. The building itself is a very typical Hong Kong commercial-residential building, making you feel like you're on a TVB set – it has so much character! I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance! The only minor regret is that the Mixue Ice Cream & Tea (bubble tea shop) across the street closed down, and other bubble tea places are a bit pricey – Hong Kong is quite expensive, haha. Highly recommend!

The location is excellent for travelers who prefer commuting by walking, bus or tram rather than relying on the MTR. Situated in Wan Chai, the hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafés, and it offers convenient access to nearby areas such as Central, Causeway Bay, and other parts of Hong Kong. One of the biggest advantages is the easy access to the A11 airport bus, making travel to and from the airport simple without the need to take the Airport Express. The room is spacious, well-equipped with all the essential amenities, and features a comfortable bed and a practical work desk, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers.

Excellent and very clean! My son even got to practice some English with the owner, so it was definitely worth it. At first, I was a bit apprehensive seeing so many foreigners at the entrance, thinking it might not be safe. But once inside, I realized that wasn't the case at all. The owner was right there, making it feel very secure and friendly. Seeing that we were three adults with a child, they even offered an extra set of toiletries, though we didn't end up using them as we had our own. Families with kids should definitely consider this place; it's a great opportunity for them to practice English with the owner and understand its importance. This hotel offers incredible value for money! The location is fantastic too – Victoria Harbour is just a few hundred meters walk from the entrance. We stayed out until 10 pm and simply walked back, saving on subway fares. Besides the noisy air conditioning, everything else was perfect! Highly recommended!!!

the room was beautiful, tho its not as clean as i expected it to be... there's blood stain in the couch and window nooks. a lot of long hair strands in the carpet. i know they can do better. i still like the hotel, the shuttle service from hotel to train station is big help for guests. since there is no free bottled water on rooms, at least have a water dispenser on some floors. the breakfast is buffet but... sorry but its so bland. im not a picky eater but... its really disappointing. if you gonna ask me, if i will stay again on this hotel, probably not. 1000+ rmb for family room and the experience is just so so... sorry. ✌

My stay at Two MacDonnell Road definitely lived up to its reputation. Located in Mid-Levels, it's an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle; it was incredibly quiet at night, with no city noise from Central at all, allowing for a very comfortable sleep. The room was much more spacious than most Hong Kong hotels, laid out like an apartment with a small living area and a basic kitchenette. There was plenty of space to spread out my luggage, making for a very relaxing stay. The view was a definite highlight. From a high floor, the expansive city and greenery views were stunning, both day and night. The staff were also polite. However, there were clear downsides: transportation isn't very convenient. It's a bit of a distance from the MTR station, so getting around mainly relied on taxis or the shuttle bus, which could be a bit troublesome when returning at night. The soundproofing was also quite poor. Overall, it's a great choice for those seeking peace and quiet, comfortable accommodation, and who aren't planning to rush through tourist sites every day. It's well-suited for business trips or short stays of a few days. If extreme convenience is your top priority, you might want to reconsider.
