The hotel is super close to the airport and offers a free shuttle service that runs late into the night, which is really convenient. The room was a bit small, but it had everything you need (and lots of mirrors!). The breakfast had a good variety and tasted decent. However, the cleanliness is questionable. There were urine stains behind the toilet in our room, but it was too late when we arrived to bother changing rooms.

I chose the Regal Airport Hotel because I had an early morning flight. It's incredibly convenient – the arrival hall leads directly to the hotel lobby. The next day, I didn't have to rush for transport, which allowed me to manage my time well and get a little extra sleep. The gentleman who checked me in was very enthusiastic, and despite his slightly stiff Mandarin, he answered all my questions in detail. I realized my electronic devices weren't compatible with the room's power outlets, so I wanted to ask the front desk for an adapter. However, there were guests at every counter. That's when an older gentleman from the concierge department noticed me and proactively asked if he could help. As soon as he learned I needed an adapter, he immediately went to get one for me. This was my first time staying at this hotel, and the polite and warm service made me feel incredibly welcome. Furthermore, despite being an older hotel, all the facilities were clean and tidy, and the room was spacious. I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The clean room, reasonable price, and speedy front desk service were the reasons I chose this hotel. They also offer a shuttle bus service to West Kowloon and Tsim Sha Tsui, which is convenient for sightseeing. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

Whenever I visit HK, I always choose to stay at The Empire Hotel Tsim Sha Tsui. It's a comfortable stay with convenient access to everything. I especially appreciate the dehumidifier in the room; it's a lifesaver in May when Hong Kong's high humidity makes drying clothes a nightmare. Alice Liu at the front desk felt more like an old friend, providing incredibly thoughtful service. The special afternoon tea is also a personal favorite of mine. A big thank you to all the hotel staff, from the housekeepers to the front desk team, for their professional service.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. My husband and I stayed in one room, while my parents stayed in another.
The bathroom and shower were very clean and comfortable. The view is definitely better on the higher floors — my parents stayed on the 31st floor and had a lovely view, while our room on the 12th floor didn’t have much of a view, but honestly, we were mostly there just to sleep.
There was bottled water in the room upon arrival, but when we asked for more the next day, we were told to get it from the gym. Also, the cone-shaped paper cups in the gym were not very practical — that could be improved. On the positive side, the hotel has a gym for those interested.
The location is very convenient. We used the tram frequently to explore Hong Kong, and it’s very close to the hotel. There is also a shopping mall nearby, plenty of places to eat, and a supermarket right across the street.
The room overall was nice. There was a slight humidity smell, but that seems to be common in Hong Kong. Keeping the air conditioning on helps a lot.
It would be great if the hotel had universal power outlets.

The hotel floors are just okay, but the room itself was decent, even if a bit old. The service, however, was excellent. I just checked out and had to immediately recommend this place! This hotel is truly a love-hate experience. First, the pros: The pool view is absolutely stunning! The deep blue water paired with wooden screens makes for perfect vacation photos every time. The room was also a pleasant surprise; although you can tell it's a bit older, it's very well-maintained. And I have to praise the service! From the doorman to the cleaning staff, everyone was super nice.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a deluxe sea view room on a high floor. Hygiene-wise, there were occasional unknown little bugs on the carpet. Not sure what they were. The staff at the 19th-floor lobby and breakfast restaurant, to put it mildly, had a very average attitude. However, the housekeeping staff were very polite and would actively greet us. There was a female manager at the front desk who was quite helpful; she assisted us with extending our stay for multiple days. The hardware is pretty good, as it's a new hotel and they're good at marketing. After three days, I felt the service wasn't great. The room card wouldn't work for the elevator every day. When we went to the front desk, they would just coldly tell us to wait in the check-in line, without even an apology. We had four different sea-view rooms over three days, and none had welcome fruit. Breakfast was expensive, but the taste and variety were very average. There are too many floors, which makes it a bit complicated, so I didn't try any other dining services. Coming out of Metro Exit D requires a fairly long walk, but considering the cheap room rate, we basically managed it ourselves. The above are my objective feelings.

The staff in the lobby were helpful, and the service was good. The hotel is conveniently located for taxis, and there's a convenience store and a Hong Kong-style diner nearby, making it easy to get around and grab a bite anytime!
This hotel's location is super convenient for us, especially since we needed to shoot some scenes nearby, so it was the most practical choice. However, the hotel room itself is really tiny. Normally, it's priced at around 200-300 RMB, but during the holidays, it jumped to over 1000 RMB – a huge rip-off, in my opinion. The bathroom is incredibly small; the toilet is positioned in such a way that you can't sit on it properly, you have to sit sideways. The room is particularly cramped, and you have to shower standing in the bathtub. The biggest issue was that the curtains wouldn't close completely. We thought we could just deal with it, but then the outdoor lights were so bright late at night that we couldn't sleep. We had to call staff to help us out, and honestly, we barely got any rest that night. On the upside, the surrounding area is very convenient, with lots of our favorite restaurants nearby. It has a great, lively atmosphere.

The Royal Garden Hotel is right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. I first stayed there back in 1999 when I visited Hong Kong, and I remember thinking how beautiful it was, especially the rooftop pool – absolutely stunning! The hotel's atrium restaurant, with its soaring, open-plan design spanning over ten floors, was also impressive. I've stayed at The Royal Garden several times since, and even on my most recent visit, it still felt remarkably new! Fantastic value for money.

Rruowen118The hotel is a bit far from popular attractions like Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. A HKD 500 deposit is required upon check-in, and they accept RMB. There's a McDonald's, a 'cha chaan teng' (local cafe), and a convenience store nearby, so food options are pretty convenient. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel; you can take 4 stops to reach Wong Chuk Hang MTR station. Although the room is a bit small, it's very clean. Overall, it's still quite good.
Bbb1979_2006I booked two adjoining double rooms. Though small, they had everything needed, and the hotel felt quite new and comfortable inside. It's located next to a highway, so there was some noise (rooms facing the small road on the opposite side would probably be quieter). I'd say the air conditioning unit was even louder. For breakfast, they offered one pastry and unlimited coffee refills. There was no bottled water in the room, and toiletries and slippers were not provided. It's about a 10-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station. The value for money is much better than some of the older hotels.

YYas_miniThis was my second time staying at the hotel. And I was glad to see the upgraded an refreshed the towels. The hotel itself and room itself is kept well. The bathroom is clean and tidy. Only the half shower door isn’t very practical and all the water still goes out.
The rain shower was broken in my room.
The bedding was clean and comfy. But only two pillows are provided not 4. One of the towels had orange stains on it .
The cleaning could be better as I found the counter tops still stained with glass or can marks . Clearly showing the counter tops were not wiped down. The floor had hair and there was dirt in some corners.
The downside of this room is that it gets a lot of condensed. So on returning the floor would have moisture and condensation on it. It was just so annoying.
Other than that it’s in a super convenient location.

We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem.
The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel.
Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch.
Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget.
We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us.
The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!

KKHTanHad a short stay at The Wharney Hotel. We booked a family room and were quite pleased with the cleanliness, and the shower had strong water pressure.
The room size was average, and the bed was soft and comfortable.
Complimentary snacks and drinks in the room fridge is a nice gesture.
Check-in staff were friendly and even provided us with complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch.
The location is excellent, with plenty of eateries 9and convenience stores nearby. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Value for money.
HHoneyFlyOur room is big only two people stay but i think it can fit 4 on it the see view is amazing its just that they don’t gice complementary WATER its my first time staying at the hotel that didn’t give Water 😅 location is a little far because its sea side hotel but they has service shuttle so overall its a nice Hotel and Stay
GGuest UserThe room hygiene was a bit disappointing. I always stay at this hotel whenever I visit Hong Kong, but this time the experience wasn't great. The bedsheet had a pretty large stain, and there were many stains on the carpet all over the room. The soundproofing was also very poor; I could hear people talking loudly in the hallway. However, the hotel staff were polite and the service was good.
LlamlllThe hotel is nestled at the foot of the mountain, offering a tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle of areas near MTR stations. However, it's about a 20-minute walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, or a 6-7 minute taxi ride (around HKD 20-35). We were assigned a room on the 28th floor facing Central, and the view was absolutely stunning. We had a complete panoramic view of the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, the US Consulate, the Peak Tram Terminus, Government House, and even the distant Bank of China Tower, Standard Chartered Bank Building, and IFC.
The staff were all very warm, friendly, and accommodating. They even helped bring up our food deliveries to the room. The room cleanliness was excellent. The soundproofing, however, was average; we could hear louder noises from upstairs and next door. In the mornings, we could also hear the birds chirping from the Zoological and Botanical Gardens below. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but there was a kitchen available for cooking.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something a bit more unique. Compared to 5-star and 4-star hotels near MTR stations, this place offers a really good stay.
GGuest UserThe room has a TV and two beds, with a sea view overlooking the harbor. There's a convenient shuttle bus for getting around. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall where you can grab a delicious breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay!
