Facilities: The facilities are really outdated. They still use UK-style plugs, so you definitely need an adapter. They don't provide hand towels, only bath towels, and no bottled water either – this is the first time I've encountered that. The curtains are manual and don't close completely. There are very few TV channels; I hoped to watch some professional TVB while in Hong Kong, but couldn't find any. Cleanliness: It's okay, but the hotel seems quite old, so no matter how much they clean, it still looks a bit grubby. Environment: The room is very small. I heard there's a swimming pool, but my trip was rushed, so I didn't get to experience it. The MTR station is right downstairs, and the soundproofing isn't great. Service: Normal service. Transportation: It's very convenient, though. Just exit Tuen Mun MTR Station, turn right at Tuen Mun Police Station. For a solo traveler staying one night, the value for money is decent.

I was extremely satisfied with the hotel. The room was very clean, tidy, and a good size. It was also quite quiet; we didn't hear any noise from the next room during our stay. There were power outlets right by the bed for charging phones, no adapter needed. The staff were all very polite. When I bought some items and needed to open the packaging, I asked the front desk for scissors, and the staff were very helpful. When I had a large amount of trash (shopping boxes) to dispose of, the front desk quickly arranged for a staff member to come and collect it. If you're heading to the airport, the A11 bus stop is very close to the hotel, which is super convenient. My main priorities when choosing a hotel are clean bedding, polite and enthusiastic staff, and convenient transportation, and this hotel excelled in all these aspects. If I come to Hong Kong again, I will definitely choose The Empire Hotel Hong Kong · Wan Chai again. Oh, and when we checked out, the front desk attendant even gave us Ferrero Rocher chocolates, which made our day!

A practical and efficient choice for business travelers cause the hotel is located in the industrial area. Its major advantage is the convenient 20-minute walk to Kwai Hing MTR station, perfect for travelers with light luggage. Service is standard —nothing exceptional. The room where i stayed was compact and clean.

The ultimate value-for-money king in Hong Kong! Harbour Plaza Metropolis exceeded all my expectations. Choosing the right hotel is crucial when visiting Hong Kong, and the Harbour Plaza Metropolis absolutely blew me away! Its location is prime – directly opposite Hung Hom MTR Station, just a 5-minute walk away, making travel to and from mainland China incredibly convenient. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui, getting you to the shopping district in just 5 minutes. Being next to the Hong Hom Coliseum is fantastic for concerts, and the International Plaza shopping mall downstairs means shopping and dining are literally at your doorstep. My sea-view room was absolutely stunning. Opening the curtains revealed panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars. The room itself was spacious and spotless, with elegant and cozy European-inspired decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, was generously sized. The facilities were top-notch: fast, reliable internet, complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities, and an electronic safe. They even offered a free shoe-shine service – attention to detail was exceptional. The biggest surprise was the 25-meter outdoor heated swimming pool, where I could swim while admiring the Victoria Harbour views. The fitness center and spa were also excellent for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was fresh and diverse, offering a full spread of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff were warm, efficient, and spoke excellent Chinese, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Whether for business or family travel, this is a top choice in Hong Kong. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Located within MOKO Tsim Sha Tsui, it's super convenient with Hong Kong-style restaurants right outside. The MTR station is just a 5-minute walk away, making getting around a breeze. The hotel is clean and simple overall, and the room size is actually quite good for a Hong Kong hotel. You can store your luggage for free, and both check-in and check-out are incredibly smooth. There are staff members by the elevator entrance every day who note down room numbers, which is a nice touch for security.

This was the 3rd stay in the last 2 months. First I made a mistake and double booked our rooms. The hotel was very fast to cancel one of my bookings without any charges. On arrival, Vanessa at the front desk was very nice and helped arrange adjoining rooms for my wife and I and adjoining room for my 2 boys. Aside from easy access to the MTR and lots of restaurants all around the hotel offers a spectacular view of the Victoria Harbor from their VIP Lounge on the top floor. For hotels with similar prices in the area I highly recommend the Empire.

The room was spacious, new, and very modern. The service was highly professional, especially the cleaning staff who could cure anyone's OCD! The location is excellent, just a short walk from Zijing Cultural Square and the Convention and Exhibition Center. Public transport is convenient, and it's super easy to find places to eat and shop. There's a mall downstairs and Xiamen Street right across the road, surrounded by all sorts of restaurants, from various price points to different cuisines, both Chinese and Western. It's perfect not only for business trips but also great for family vacations!

Good price-per qualty option for staying in Kowloon, as you turn out to be close to the bustling heart of eating, shopping and leisure of the peninsula, - with nice park on one side, giant Harbour city center on the other and pier nearby. Hotel is not very new but well-maintained, you might need luck only in respect of the room view, as it is sometimes depressive to be overlooked by the high wall of the opposite building just a couple of dozen metres away, knowing that the harbour and space and air are just around the corner

Check-in was efficient. Ms. Katherine Lai was very professional and helpful. My room was upgraded to one with greenery view, which was nice. The room is spacious, bright and comfortable. Normally, room size is small in Hong Kong hotels for this category. Dorsett Tsuen Wan stands out and is really good as compared to other hotels I have stayed in Tsuen Wan. Excellent value. Washroom is also spacious. There is a small gym, which again is a plus for this category of hotels. The location is not as convenient as other hotels in the center of cities. However, Dorsett provides a free shuttle bus to a nearby shopping mall, Metroplaza, where yiu can take the subway MTR. Also, another shopping center is with 6 to 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Housekeeping is good, vacuuming the carpet in the room every day. Finally, bus A41P will take you from Hong Kong International Airport to a stop (”kin Tsuen” street), a 4-5 minutes walk from hotel. Then, at the same bus stop, talk A32 bus to airport, costs HK$19.80. The staffs at concierge are also very helpful in directions and bus selection. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Dorsett Tsuen Wan. I will stay there again and highly recommend it.

Facilities: A rare smart hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, with electric curtains, smart toilets, a large TV, and USB ports by the bed, all very convenient. The room size is decent for Hong Kong. Cleanliness: The room is very clean, and the linens are fine. Environment: Downstairs, there are all kinds of restaurants and shops. It's very convenient for shopping, dining, and going to Victoria Harbour or Mong Kok. Service: The front desk staff were polite and friendly, kindly informing me that drinking water is not provided in the room and needs to be brought by guests. Overall, a good stay. The hardware facilities are on par with a domestic Ji Hotel (excluding room size and laundry facilities). Recommended.

GGuest UserThe room is big enough for a solo traveler like me and the staffs are nice and helpful. Surprisingly, the hotel provided a free breakfast bar including a bun and a small cup of coffee. The only thing i concern about is that the bed were a bit dirty. There were some pink dirt spots on it which caused my skin allergy.

ZZongxiangConvenient location and good value for money. The room was relatively clean, and the size is quite decent for Hong Kong. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the restaurant's front desk this morning. I had a complimentary coffee voucher from the hotel and asked for a takeaway. The staff asked me to wait five minutes, but when I returned, it hadn't even been prepared yet. She wasn't busy with anything at all during those five minutes, so I had to stand there and wait for her to make it from scratch. This is the only negative point.

XXingguangyuanThe Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong is an absolute gem! The rooms are exceptionally spacious for Hong Kong, with soft and comfortable bedding. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning sea views, and you can even see the Tsing Ma Bridge lit up at night. The staff provides incredibly thoughtful service; they patiently answered all our questions and even proactively upgraded our room, which really enhanced our experience. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a private beach, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. The free WiFi signal is also super stable. Although it's a bit far from the city center, there's a shuttle bus directly to Tsuen Wan Station, and it's also very convenient to get to Disneyland. It offers excellent value for money and is definitely a top choice for family trips!

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious, equipped with a kitchenette and all the necessary dinnerware. The views were open and expansive. While the location might be a bit challenging for first-time visitors to Hong Kong, the hotel offers several complimentary shuttle services to and from Central daily. The Pedder Street shuttle stop is conveniently located at the bus station near Central MTR Exit D1. There's also a stop at IFC, but I haven't personally used it, so it's best to inquire with the hotel for specific boarding points. If you prefer taking public transport, from Admiralty Station Exit B, turn right for about ten meters onto Tamar Street, then turn right again and walk twenty meters to the bus stop for the 12A. It's only two stops to the hotel, at the 'YWCA' stop. From there, walk back about twenty meters to reach the hotel. When heading back to the hotel from Central, the 12A bus is also the best option. It will first go to Admiralty Bus Terminus and stop for a few minutes while the driver takes a break. You can simply wait on the bus; there's no need to purchase another ticket. I figured this out after staying for four days, as the 12A is a short circular route specifically designed for MacDonnell Road residents. Every time I queued at Admiralty, I'd see people already on board, leading me to conclude they had traveled from Central and were waiting to go up the hill back to MacDonnell Road.

GGuest UserA charming guesthouse with a Hong Kong flair, it offered a lovely view, and I particularly enjoyed the small balcony. However, getting to and from the room was quite inconvenient. The elevator is located on the far side of the building, and even then, it only reaches the 7th floor, requiring guests to descend 4 flights of stairs to get to the accommodation. I opted for the staircase near the entrance instead, which still meant climbing 3 flights. Fortunately, I only had a backpack; I strongly advise anyone with heavy or multiple pieces of luggage to choose carefully. The space itself was adequate for a single person, but the wash basin was truly a nightmare. Squeezed between two load-bearing pillars, it was probably only 30cm wide, forcing you to turn sideways just to wash your hands. Washing your face was a real struggle. To make matters worse, if the tap was turned on too high, the floor drain couldn't cope and would leak water onto the floor. I'm stopping my complaints here!

LLebonuowenpinRight in the heart of the business district, with plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It's also close to bus stops, which is super convenient. While it's a bit far from the subway, most places I needed to go were accessible by bus, so it worked out fine. The room was quite spacious for one person, with a great view, and it was clean and tidy. There's even a gym at the hotel, which was a huge plus for someone who loves to work out. Going downstairs for dinner and then hitting the gym for an hour afterward was incredibly pleasant. It was a much better stay than I expected.

GGuest UserExcellent location, right next to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, and easily accessible by airport bus A21/A22. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, and they offer luggage storage. There's also a shared kitchen on the 2nd floor, complete with a fridge and microwave. Due to Hong Kong's plastic reduction policy, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, slippers, and towel, or you can purchase them at the front desk. The room looks exactly like the pictures. They provide a key card that doubles as an elevator and room key, so security feels quite high. In the quad room, there's an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower area. While small, it's perfectly functional. Downstairs, there are many fantastic snack shops, all serving delicious food! Transportation is very convenient, and the beds are quite comfortable and clean. There's a slight creaking sound when turning over, but it's acceptable. Roommates are a bit of a lottery; this time, I ended up with night owls who came back late, showered, and organized their belongings, which really disturbed my sleep. However, that's just the nature of shared accommodation. Despite that, I'm still quite satisfied with the room itself. Nearby, the Tin Hau Temple and Yau Ma Tei Police Station are great spots to check out, both within walking distance. And definitely try Chan Kee Roasted Goose – it's absolutely delicious!

MM220902****I really have to praise this hotel, though I'm a bit selfish and don't want too many people to know about it because the value for money is just incredible! At first, I saw reviews mentioning it was a bit far from the subway station, but then I found out there's a mini-bus right in front of the hotel that goes directly to the subway. That just made this hotel absolutely perfect in my eyes, I love it!
