The location is very convenient to travel around. The room is too narrow compared to the price, but it’s okay for a solo traveler like me. The staff is helpful and considerate.

This hostel is pretty good overall, located right in the heart of Chinatown. It's very close to bus stops and MRT stations, and they offer luggage storage. There's also a self-service water dispenser available.

The room was clean and tidy, with a minimalist design and excellent space planning. They also offer free laundry and drying services. The front desk service was great, and there's a small bar on the first floor perfect for a drink or two in the evening; it was quite lively and had a good atmosphere! There's also an outdoor terrace on the second floor for relaxing. Given the location, the overall value for money is absolutely fantastic!

Located in Chinatown, this hotel offers direct access to the MRT station via an underground passage right next door. Many famous must-try Singaporean dishes are nearby, and you won't have to queue much outside peak hours. For example: Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, Jumbo Seafood, Ng Ah Sio Bak Kut Teh, Liao Fan Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle, Mr. Coconut… Among Singaporean hotels, this one offers excellent value for money. I stayed for a week and spent just over 6000 [currency, e.g., CNY], which I consider cheap. Apart from the relatively small room and small bed (taller people might find their feet hanging off the end), everything else was great.

An absolutely perfect stay for solo travelers and backpackers! The location of CUBE Hotel is unbeatable—right on Smith Street in the heart of Chinatown. It’s just a few minutes' walk from the Chinatown MRT station and surrounded by amazing local food (Chinatown Complex and Maxwell Food Centre are right there!).
The capsule itself was super clean, offered great privacy, and most importantly, the AC was strong and freezing cold—exactly what you need after a hot day exploring Singapore. The bathrooms were well-maintained too. High CP value (cost-performance ratio) and highly recommended. Will definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at Dorsett Hotel and would like to share my feedback. While the overall stay was acceptable, there are several areas that require improvement.
The room maintenance needs more attention. The bedside lamp was not functioning, and the weighing scale could not be used as the display light was not working. These basic facilities should be properly checked before guest arrival.
At the swimming pool, there were no towels provided, which was quite inconvenient.
Additionally, when I first entered the room, there was an unpleasant odor, similar to a previous vomit smell. Although the hotel staff attempted to spray and freshen the room, the smell was still noticeable and affected the comfort of the stay.
I hope the hotel can improve its maintenance checks and overall room readiness to ensure a better guest experience in the future.

Top-notch hotel! Everything was perfect! The best value-for-money accommodation I could find in Singapore. Very well located in the heart of Chinatown. Everything is clean and well-maintained. For breakfast, there's a small buffet every day with coffee, tea, milk, cereal, toast, and peanut butter, plus 3 different hot dishes daily. There's also a room available where you can get fresh/hot water, instant coffee, and tea. In short, everything you need for a fantastic stay. I highly recommend it! +++

The room was clean and tidy, with great natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft, making for a very comfortable sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining options and easy access to transportation. The facilities were complete and had no strange odors. Overall, it's excellent value for money. I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

The location is truly excellent, right in Chinatown. There are three or four metro lines within a 10-minute walk, which is super convenient.
You can walk downstairs for a few steps and grab a bite at Ya Kun, and a little further leads you to Maxwell, where there are plenty of food options at good prices.
The room was pretty much as expected. For someone who's out all day and only comes back late at night to shower and sleep, it's perfectly adequate. The soundproofing between rooms is decent, but noise from the hallway depends on other guests' consideration.
I was assigned a room on the 4th floor. Each floor has restrooms; the 2nd floor is for men, 3rd for women, and 4th is mixed-gender. I imagine it might get crowded in the mornings if many people need to shower, but otherwise, it's fine.
I downloaded the hotel's app beforehand. Upon arrival, I just followed the instructions on the sign. There was no need for human interaction throughout the whole process, and opening the room door was done via the mobile app and Bluetooth, so remember to take your phone when you leave the room.
Shampoo and shower gel are provided in the shower, but you'll need to bring your own other toiletries.

The location is near to the best location of Singapore. It only cost us 8-13SGD for taxi fare. The area is very safe and walking distance to the mall.
We are impressed with their digital key feature of the room using an app. They provide clean bed sheets & towel. The staff are kind and helpful. They have small cook lab where you could prepare your own food, dine in their in-house dining restaurant, and shared shower facilities with blower on side.

GGuest UserKINN has a beautifully minimalist interior design, and the overall architecture reflects a charming Nanyang style. The location is very convenient — close to Chinatown and Maxwell MRT station — with plenty of cafés, bars, and local hawker centers nearby.
I would highly recommend it for couples or small groups of friends traveling together. It’s a great choice for a cozy and enjoyable stay.

TTing.666For Singapore, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the location is absolutely superb – just a short walk to the night market. If you're looking to stay in the city center, I highly recommend this hotel. The environment is clean and tidy, and it even has a swimming pool. It's a great choice!

GGuest UserThis is my 5th trip to SG during these couple years and keep staying here.Best location for MRT transportation to my various destinations in SG (both for work and relaxation). All of the best services provided by Mary, Dolly and Xia were so much impressive. I think I can't find other Apart-hotels in SG with the overall highest level of ”User-friendly” like this.

FFOXY.I really liked the hotel. The room was quite spacious. The shower was also roomy, and the toiletries were very good. I really liked the happy hour concept, where you can go down to the lobby from 5 to 6 PM and drink white or red wine. There are also various snacks, cookies, and spicy nuts in the lobby. The wines are good and high-quality. We drank a white wine made in France. It was aromatic and very tasty. Of course, you won't get drunk in an hour, since it's supposed to be relaxing, but an hour or two of a relaxed drink can really help you get into the swing of things. There's no breakfast, but it's very convenient that you don't have to stick to a specific time; you can go downstairs anytime and make yourself a cup of coffee and eat delicious cookies. You can also make tea anytime. They even have ingredients you can mix, pour into disposable tea bags, and brew your own tea. The room is very quiet; you can't hear other guests. But the underground metro is a bit noticeable. But we were tired after a long day, and it didn't bother us. And the most important reason I chose this hotel is that there are many attractions nearby, including Chinatown, everything is within walking distance.

AAnonymous UserMost of the staff are very friendly and the location is rigght in China Town - walking distance to Maxwell, Clarke Quay, Merlion Park. All that aside, the facility is really really old, and don't expect anything fancy beyond a bed to lie on and hot water to shower with. The female room I stayed at was on the 3rd floor & had no lock, lockers inside room were very small that they couldnt find in my cabin luggage. So you are on your own protecting your belonging. There are 2 shower + toilet booths on the 2nd floor (which makes the floor wet 24/7) 2 shower booths & 2 toilet booths on the 1st floor, so literally everyone has to share with everyone else. They seem to try their best to maintain hygiene though, at least it only looks old, not too dirty. Pillow case smells bad & bed sheet with stain. Come expect the bare minimum and you'll be fine.

GGuest UserWe would like to thank Izhar, Chris and Joanna.
Izhar, without you, we probably wouldn’t even have known about such a beautiful venue for our small and intimate wedding.
Although you are no longer with them anymore, we still truly appreciate everything you did for us during that time ❤️
Chris & Joanna, and all the Mondrian staff were so helpful and kind to us throughout all the arrangements.
Our family members all gave a thumbs up and had so many good comments about the venue as well. It was also their first time visiting Mondrian, and everyone really enjoyed the experience.
Everything felt very smooth and well taken care of because of all of you.
We’re really very appreciative and grateful for everything.
We will definitely come back again for staycation, and we’ll surely recommend Mondrian to our friends who are planning to have an intimate wedding like ours ✨

GGuest UserThe interior is very dark. While it may be the intent of the design style, it is unfortunately very inconvenient for elders. The lighting and overcast shadows make it hard to navigate the steps for them. There are several addition steps to some rooms. These should have been highlighted so that we can make better choices.
The staff in the restaurant also seemed awkwardly trained. One would point at my sister when she arrived later fro breakfast, asking very abruptly which room she is from. Another time after I gave my room number, looked at my doubtfully then started speaking loud into the staff area asking about my room number. When we place additional orders for breakfast, it wil also be met with strange looks instead of politely acknowledging and taking our orders
Housecleaning also appeared at 9am to my sister's room asking to clean. This would not have been the normal timings of hotel housekeeping especially when guests would be on holidays and sleeping in etc.
Overall, this was a disappointing experienfe for a Bonvoy Marriott brand

MMaksim ЮFantastic hotel, just a minute's walk from the metro. Maxwell Food Centre is right nearby, so you can always grab a bite to eat. The room was clean with excellent soundproofing, all the plumbing worked perfectly, and the bed was comfortable. There's also a fridge and a mini-bar. We stayed on the 2nd floor, and even though our windows faced the road, we heard absolutely no noise.
The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast – we could have skipped it. It's delivered to your room in a box between 7 and 8 AM. For three days, it was the exact same thing: sausages, omelet, noodles, juice, bread, butter, jam, and fruit. Out of all that, we could really only eat the fruit and make a sandwich.
