Our goal was to stay for one night before catching the ferry. We checked in late and left early, and the hotel met our needs perfectly. The room was very small, split-level with a steep staircase, but it did have two wide beds. The bedding was clean and there were even disposable toothbrushes. It worked out for us. The ferry is also within walking distance.
The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The hotel is right next to Nguyen Hue Walking Street, which makes for a beautiful and lively night view. The sidewalks on both sides of the hotel entrance were packed with people. There are also plenty of food options on the surrounding small streets. The hotel staff's service attitude was excellent. I forgot my room key, and they immediately sent someone to open the door for me. It's convenient to get anywhere from here, and the city sightseeing bus even has a stop right outside the hotel.
However, the bathroom in my room wasn't as clean as it should be and needs some attention. Also, I wouldn't recommend the hotel's restaurant. For dinner, I wanted something simple and ordered seafood noodles. When I ate the second shrimp, I discovered they hadn't removed the intestinal tract. When I asked the waitress, she said it was edible. I retorted, ”Dirt is also edible, but would you eat it?” In the end, I didn't pay for it, having only eaten one shrimp with its intestine still in. The thought of it still disgusts me. The hotel staff said they would report the issue. Despite this, if I return to Ho Chi Minh City, I would still stay at this hotel.
The location is good, in the center. It's more like a gestah house . There's no recipe , the code you'll drop and pin the code from boxing where the key to the room is lying. Overnight will go .
The location of this hotel could not be better, it was situated in the heart of district 1. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a lovely flat screen smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. The main issue we had was with the shower which proved to have very poor water pressure making it rather difficult to wash oneself thoroughly. The hotel seemed to back off onto a bar which was loud in the early evening but calmed down when we went to bed around midnight. We both slept well and would recommend staying here!

-location: its a walkable distance to most famous food places and d1 shopping area.
-room: its big enough for 2. The irk was the window of the room was facing the emergency staircase, technically there shouldnt be anyone walking pass, but its still eerie to keep the curtains open at night for privacy reasons. So check if your room that you booked is facing the street. Another irk was the toilet shower area did not have a glass door, so the water will splash out to the dry area, hence toilet floor was wet majority of the time. But i must say the bed and pillows were comfortable and the sheets were amazingly smooth.
- service: all staff were smiley and helpful. Like every staff.
- free breakfast: variety aint alot, just the basics.
I recently stayed at Saigon Palace Hotel and had a mixed experience overall. The service was definitely a highlight—there was always someone at the entrance ready to open the door, which made the stay feel welcoming and attentive from the moment you arrived.
The cleanliness of the hotel was also solid. The rooms and common areas were well-kept, and everything felt tidy and comfortable throughout my stay.
The location is one of the best features of this hotel. It’s right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to explore. There’s so much within walking distance—restaurants, shops, and attractions—which made getting around easy and enjoyable.
However, the facilities could use some improvement. The air conditioning in my initial room wasn’t working, and I had to switch to a different room, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the shower had issues with water leaking out of the bathtub, leaving the entire bathroom floor wet after each use. On top of that, we also didn’t have hot water for showers, which was frustrating and impacted the overall comfort of our stay.
Overall, while the service, cleanliness, and location were great, the facility issues took away from an otherwise pleasant stay.
The Saigon Prince is in a great location with everything around you that you will need like markets, shopping centres, restaurants, bars etc.
The hotel itself is modern with an upmarket feel. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast buffet has a great selection of food and drink and caters for every nationality. It also has a restaurant and bar, which we didn’t use.
The staff are very approachable and helpful.
I would thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
Having great experience here.
The host is very friendly and helpful.
The room is on the 6th floor of a high rise building with lots of cafes and restaurants with good views, nice decorations and reasonable prices.
You should walk up and down the stairs to see all the local decorations (the lift was often crowded anyway :)).
Central to everything you need for a great holiday!
The Liberty Central is the definition of you get what you pay for. You pay a little more than average Vietnam standard but also receive a million more. The hotel has great location, great facilities that are modern and clean, offers a great breakfast restaurant and other places to eat and drink A la Carte. The service staff is also great and accomodating, wifi is fast and they help facilitate things like late checkout and extending of stays easily and professionally via email.
Can highly reccommend a stay here.
The room was spacious, and I was happy to find a bathtub. It was clean and the environment was neither particularly quiet nor noisy. The location is excellent, not far from Ho Chi Minh's Nguyen Hue Walking Street. The staff at check-in and check-out were all very friendly. Finally, the breakfast buffet on the top floor was also of a good standard. Starting the day with a hot bowl of pho or rice noodles there really gave me a boost for the whole day.

GGuest Userwe had a very pleasant stay here! the accommodation was clean, cozy, comfortable and truly felt welcoming from the very beginning. Ms. Emma and Mrs. Zita were incredibly kind and helpful even before i arrived in Ho Chi Minh City from Phnom Penh🥰 which made the whole experience feel smooth and reassuring
everything was very well prepared, even though we checked in later than 11 PM but both of them were still so considerate and accommodating..we truly appreciate it and are sorry for the late arrival…huge thumbs up for the amazing hospitality, kindness and warm welcome throughout our stay even for a short while🥳
OOksi555Great and fantastic experience from arrival till departure process. Rooms are well appointed with great views over the town, we stayed in 33rd floor. Nice amenities and service provided by the staff. The interior design of the entire hotel is just amazing, spa is on another level of luxury which can’t describe in words and need to be seen✌️ great food, we had ordered “Pho” soup which was just phenomenal👍 hotel is located on the Main Street from where you have easy access to the main Saigon city mall with variety of shops. Bell desk upon departure was very helpful and kind and all staff around is smiling and having positive approach. We definitely coming back
UUncle MarcyI’ve been in Saigon for months now moving from hotel to hotel. The Myst Dong Khoi is an excellent choice among the options.
The best feature, and one that matters a lot here, is quiet and peace. The Myst’s rooms are very quiet. I worked inside my room for hours and didn’t hear much.
The hotel is cute and well run. Lovely staff. Efficient processes. Well priced and very well situated in a safe and western-friendly location. I will absolutely stay here again. And I did. For another week!!
Areas of improvement include breakfast tables being placed just inches apart - hugely inappropriate and made me find other options for breakfast. I’d also do a better job separating families with rowdy kids and everyone else.
GGuest UserOur room experience was great, it was quite spacious, and we could easily open our suitcases. Special thanks to Brian for helping us with our luggage, he was very kind and helpful. There are only about three rooms per floor! It's in the city center, so it's not far from various attractions, and it's convenient to take a Grab or Grab bike.
Ggreendog21This hotel is absolute worth it. The service is amazing as they greet you at the door and help bring your luggage up to your room. My room has an amazing balcony view and was super spacious. The rooftop pool is beautiful and offers one of the best views of the city and the complimentary afternoon tea is delicious.
BbettyOverall experience exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and tidy, the service was warm and attentive, the location was convenient, and the breakfast was abundant. There are two 7-Eleven convenience stores downstairs. It's great value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a central location, making it very convenient for getting around. The staff are warm and attentive. The hotel facilities have a charming, old-world feel and are very clean and tidy. A great experience overall! 👍
GGuest UserExcellent location, and a great family room perfect for three. All the facilities were sufficient, and the room was kept very clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast – there was a good variety to choose from, and the coffee, in particular, was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful three-day stay!
JJCXUNThe front desk staff were friendly and professional, and I was especially impressed that they employ hearing-impaired individuals as cleaning staff. They are very dedicated and hardworking, which I greatly appreciate. However, the soundproofing is a bit poor, so those sensitive to noise should be aware.
TTnT & W.AWe appreciated the convenient location and the helpfulness of some staff members during our stay. However, we were disappointed by the subpar facilities. Overall, while it served its purpose in an emergency, improvements are needed for a more comfortable experience.
