InterContinental Properties in Shenzhen

Our stay at this hotel was incredibly pleasant. Jason, our butler, contacted us in advance to arrange our check-in and even thoughtfully put together a guide of nearby attractions. He explained all the check-in details clearly and concisely. The room was spotless and well-arranged, with all the necessary amenities for families with children, making our trip with the little ones much easier. The hotel has excellent soundproofing, so it was very quiet, ensuring an undisturbed rest. Any requests we had for Jason were met with quick and efficient responses. We didn't have to worry about coordinating anything ourselves; everything was perfectly arranged. The overall experience was just right, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next family trip!

This InterContinental is my top choice when visiting Shenzhen. Its location is absolutely superb, just a short walk to the exhibition center, making getting around incredibly convenient. The lobby is grand and elegant. Alfreda from Guest Relations was polite and thoughtful throughout, and Diana handled check-in efficiently. The room was spacious, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was stocked with Byredo toiletries – attention to detail was exceptional. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the made-to-order noodles were delicious. The indoor heated pool and 24-hour gym are excellent facilities. Overall, it exudes understated luxury with professional and attentive service. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

Our family staycation was perfect! We did have to wait a bit for our room, but other than that, everything was great. Both the kids and adults had a fantastic time 🥳. First, let's talk about the cleanliness. For a beachfront hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. InterContinental's operations and management truly shine. While the room showed a bit of age, the upkeep was excellent. The room was very dry; there was absolutely no hint of that typical coastal dampness as soon as we entered. This easily trumps those so-called high-end B&Bs in Huizhou that cost 2-3k. The Kids' Club on the second floor clearly had a recent renovation, and the staff were attentive throughout. We booked a lemon tea making experience a day in advance, and the little one had so much fun they didn't want to leave. Our package included a buffet dinner, which was surprisingly good. All alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were free-flow – a definite highlight for the adults! The salmon sashimi was very fresh, and the staff were generous, not limiting portions. The desserts and cakes were also excellent, 'not too sweet' which is a standard I appreciate, and better than many five-star hotel patisseries. I saw several tables of foreigners taking multiple plates of cake. The only thing that could perhaps be improved is the swimming pool; it had quite a bit of sand in it. This might be hard to avoid, though, given it's right next to the beach. Overall, we were very satisfied. With the beautiful weather, my husband said I picked an excellent hotel this time, and we'll definitely bring our parents back next time.
