Good location, not bad

Stay here for 2 nights The hostel is located in the heart of the historic centre Oviedo, just one street away from the bustling Plaza de la Constitución and City Hall of Oviedo. The hostel is about 15 minutes walk from the main bus and train station in the city and pretty easy to find once I find my way to the city hall. Check-in was really straightforward as the hostel asked me to check in online and all reception needed was my passport to confirm my identity. I was shown all around the hostel, including the kitchen, common area and of course the dorm. The dorm was a four bed dorm with 2 bunk beds and an ensuite bathroom with toilet, shower and bathtub. The shower and toilets worked well. The bunks were the wooden frame variety, although it was pretty sturdy. Even though my bunkmate was a bit of a night owl, I still got 2 nights of good sleep. The mattress was some kind of thick foam and really comfortable. The covers were thick and I had asked for an extra blanket. Even though it was cold, it still felt warm and cosy under the blankets. Breakfast was provided and mainly consisted of cereals, toasts and spreads, tea and coffee. Nothing fancy, but good for the price of the stay. The kitchen and plenty of utensils as well as cooking equipment, and could be used by guests for cooking too. The hostel is also situated on two floors, with the upper floor also containing rooms, a kitchen and a terrace. It was too cold to use at this time of the year, but I did wander up and it has a lovely view of the city hall. The hostel, room and bathroom were kept clean throughout my stay. The staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. They have lots of information for things to do and see in Oviedo and the surrounding area. I would have no hesitation staying at Green Hostel again.

Excellent location in the pedestrian center of Oviedo. Bathroom to be reviewed as well as cleanliness which was not at the top. The check system is very convenient and takes place entirely online. Sore point is that there is no lift and the hostel is located on the second and third floors of an ancient building with narrow stairs.

Very good accommodation, everything clean and the kitchen big, I loved it, when I arrived a little late to get in but it was my mistake since when you check in they send you a code and you can enter without problem, I had not done it and that's why I was outside but very little, the guy who answered me on the phone was very friendly... I recommend 💯

The location is very good, within walking distance of everything. The room was very (very) small and had a private bathroom. It has a fairly complete kitchen and a terrace upstairs that can be smoked. The breakfast is basic but correct and the staff is very friendly.

I stayed last week at this hotel, the location could not have been better, 2 minutes from all points of interest. The girl who served us was called Lucia, a charming girl. If I return to Oviedo I will definitely return to this hotel. Many thanks for everything!

Unbeatable hostel, with extensive amenities. The quality-price ratio is very good. Above all, I would like to highlight the attention of the receptionist (Lucia) who was always pleasant and helpful. Recommended 10 out of 10. I will repeat without a doubt.

I have traveled to Oviedo and stayed at the Hostel, the truth is that I have always heard good opinions about it and they have been 100% right. Very good location in the historic center of Oviedo, 2 minutes from the center and 3 from Gascona, the place where all the cider houses and good restaurants are. Cleanliness of the hostel a 10 and attention from the receptionist EXCELLENT!!!! Without a doubt on my next express trip to Oviedo I will return.

I'll start with how good many things are. Cleanliness in the room, excellent location (next to the town hall in the center) and good service from the girls at the reception. We knew that the Hostel did not have an elevator and it was not a problem for us (although it was difficult for us to go up to the third floor with large suitcases). Also for the price paid we knew that the breakfast was very fair and that being in the center was already a privilege. The fact that there was no TV was no problem for us. Now comes the reason for my note. We were very, very cold. Apparently they only turn on the heating at night for about 4 alternating hours for savings reasons. One afternoon after eating and with a temperature of 4 degrees we decided to go to the room to rest a little. We were very cold. I understand that in warmer times the use of the heater is not necessary, but in cold times they should give the guest the option of having the room warm at least when the tenant is inside. On the other hand, the slatted base of our bed made a lot of noise when changing positions, the slightest movement would wake me up with my partner, the bed wouldn't stop creaking. I would not recommend this hostel in cold weather, I am sorry to give a bad rating since otherwise everything was fine.

Well maintained place and good organization. Pleasant and professional welcome. Adequate and correct accommodation - 2 bunk beds per bedroom. Very central and therefore very practical. Very good and well-stocked breakfast. Common spaces available
