Noku Maldives, Vignette Collection an IHG Hotel

It was really enjoyable

Recently rebranded under IHG group, Noku Maldives is still an extremely peaceful island preserving its traditions yet adding exciting new elements to the property bit by bit. You can hardly see other guests when you venture out of your room, as guests are mostly enjoying their time in the extremely spacious villa. The room size is comparable to the two-bedroom water villas in other resorts in Maldives. Although it does not have the fancy glass floor overlooking the sea, the outdoor shower and spacious deck allow for more interaction with the outdoor area. The private pool is also large and well maintained. Throughout our stay, we had in-room breakfast and it was simply magical savouring every bite under the sun while overlooking the simmering blue sea. The resort offers free bicycle and snorkeling equipment rental, which were both very useful as we could cycle to the sunset water villa area to enjoy the house reef where sea turtles, baby sharks and many kinds of fishes were spotted. It might not be the best house reefs in Maldives, but we will never forget the abundant marine life we encountered. As for the service, it is as amazing as the hardware. Since there are not a lot of guests on the island, the island host could pay more attention to each guest. Kudos to Layaan, who was extremely helpful in everything and handling our every request perfectly. The resort organises daily activities, such as Hi-Tea, stretching and aerobics class, as well as the newly introduced Local Fisherman Visit for guests to pick a fish caught by the fisherman on that day and have it cooked for dinner or lunch. Food at the Palms was wonderful, especially the tenderloin and fish. Enjoyed ourselves very much there with the live band. Don’t forget their spa as well. The therapist and the massage room were both top-notch. Thank you every warm-hearted soul at Noku. We had a really great time. Highly recommend this resort to everyone who loves privacy and personal service.

We found Noku Maldives because the resort just joined the IHG Vignette Collection and decided to stay here during for the New Year holiday. The resort is located about 45-50 mins away by seaplane from Male. We stayed at the sunset overwater villa which has direct access to resort house reef. It’s one of the best house reef we’ve ever found in the Maldives. There’re plenty of fishes and beautiful reef at the drop-off. As for the resort, the room is quite big and comfortable. It’s not a complicated layout which we found very relaxing for the stay. The island size is good for us, not too big where you can walk around easily, and not too small where you still feel very private. There’re two restaurants on the island, we like the main restaurant where they serve international dishes which are very tasty. We love listening to live music performed every night during our 4 nights stay at the restaurant which’s very good vibe. The best part of the island is definitely the staff at Noku Maldives. They’re very attentive. GM Shahid, Basil, Shekhar and their team welcomed us with great hospitality. Staffs at the restaurant are also very helpful, Amrit, Mery, Majorie, and Sujata, who we meet every day at the restaurant are very friendly and provide superb services. Also a big thanks to our island host Myra and also Andri and Afrah who talk care of us very well. Everyone at the Noku Maldives makes our vacation unforgettable. Noku staffs are really make the resort exceptional. We’d like to give special shout out to Kau, the resort representative at the airport for greeting us warmly when we arrived. On departure date, unfortunately our seaplan was delayed due to bad weather so we missed our international departure flight. The resort’s helped us arrange for the city hotel and transportation while we had to wait for the next flight departing very late at night. We’d been very well taken care of by Kau and he keeps checking on us until departure. We come back home happy and look forward to going back to Noku again.

I had an amazing experience at the Noku !!! From the amazing team at the check in desk to the staff at the restaurant!! Special mention to Rukshan and his amazing photography and bartending skills ! Always made sure I was comfortable and arranged everything proactively and perfectly! Would definitely come back!!! Thank you to the whole team :)

It is a fairytale came true in my life. I came to this island to celebrate my birthday and to be reborn to life. The island, where absolutely everything was as I expected it to be on the Maldives. And even better. And the water villa I had a feeling that my soul came back home, so good I was feeling here. Honestly, I had an impression of being alone on the island and its pristine beaches. I feel I was trully blessed to be surrounded by people who worked at Noku: they were so attentive and discreet, and very professional at the same time. I miss all of you, I miss Noku and I want to come back as soon as I can. My coming to the hotel was trully a last minute one. However, Joseph De Silva dealt ultra quickly with my reservation and arranged everything impeccably regarding my coming, stay, everything till the tiniest detail was thought of. My gratitude to all the staff is immense. Special thanks to Andri, who made my days at Noku much brighter. The week I stayed at Noku was a little dream life that I will keep for me as long as I live.
