I would say it a very pleasant choice to stay in this hotel (includes dinner, breakfast and free onsen). Their service is the best in all hotels I have stayed before (helped you set up your bed, deliver your food to your room and most importantly, call us a free ride to send us back to the Ito station. The service is very warm and polite.

We had a great stay at this ryokan! The owners were very kind and made us feel welcome. The place was clean and peaceful, and the onsen was so relaxing. The food was delicious, with fresh local dishes we loved. Everything was perfect, and we would love to come back. Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful stay for 1 night. 3 onsens, perfect dinner and breakfast. I want to stay here for 1 more time.

This was probably the best experience i had during my visit to Japan. The ryokan feels authentic yet luxurious, the service id amazing. The personnel speaks english very well. The room was just what we wanted, very spacious, tatami floors, a balcony with a city view. We even had a little bath that you could fill with water from the hot spring. The dinner was exquisite, very authentic and delicious. The breakfast was just as good, although the amount of fish dishes might be a little overwhelming for foreigners. The best part though was obviously the onsen. The cable car that takes you to the onsen really added to the experience. We had the chance to go in the evening and in the morning. Both times there were no other people. It was raining in the morning and i definitely recommend going to the onsen while it rains if you get the chance. After checking out we were offered a ride to the station by the owner, and we had a nice chat on the way. So i absolutely recommend this ryokan, i wish we stayed longer

Trip.com definitely hide some cost when they offered prices for accommodation. We choose trip.com as they were cheaper than Agoda. Then, We were asked to pay for our child for accommodation and meal even we booked with 3 family members. On the booking confirmation they mentioned we might be charged for a child. We knew the child's prices were not included, we didn't book through Trip.com. This hotel has full of character, but wasn't the best comfortable place to stay. The staff seemed nice but very hard to communicate without speaking Japanese. Also very stingy with towols, water in the room.

It is an interesting traditional hot spring hotel. The staff are very kind and patiently introduce the facilities in the hotel. There are outdoor hot springs and meals are also available. What's especially special is that the staff personally greet and see you off when you arrive and leave!

The staff is friendly and happy to provide sightseeing advice. After learning from them that the Omuroyama cable car had been suspended, we changed our itinerary and did not waste any time. 👍 The room is also very spacious.

Amazing traditional hotel at an amazing price. 15 minutes walk from the train station in a straight line. Looks 100 percent, its own garden with a waterfall, natural inclusions everywhere, traditional interior, its own funicular, onsen 10 out of 10 of them as many as 3 and they work around the clock. When you come here you must understand that this is a traditional hotel. They take off your shoes at the entrance, ask you to walk in the provided kimono, in the onsen, separate for each gender, you wash naked, the corridors, common areas and funicular are cold, as are the toilets, but the rooms have air conditioning with heating. You will have the opportunity to try a traditional dinner and breakfast and this is a whole performance that is worth it. You sleep on futon mattresses, by the way, they are very comfortable, and at the table you have to sit on your knees. We took the top room with a view and a private onsen and did not regret it once. This night cost like 3 nights in a hotel in Tokyo, but gave an unforgettable experience. The staff was extremely friendly, they told us everything and where we could go and what the rules were, even those employees who did not know English helped us with everything. And when we left, they took us to the train station for free! The service was top notch! We recommend it!

The hotel manager has a good service attitude and a high level of English, making it easy to communicate. After checking in, the hotel gave us a detailed introduction to all the hotel facilities, and also reminded us that the open-air hot spring has alternating opening hours for men and women, which was very considerate.

The hotel is in traditional Japanese style. Although it has been open for a long time, it is still kept clean and tidy. The hotel has two hot springs, indoor and outdoor. The outdoor hot spring can be reached by taking a very short mountain cable car, which is a very interesting experience. The package I booked this time included traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner, which tasted good and the ingredients were fresh. The hotel staff are very polite and explained in detail how to use the hotel facilities and introduced the surrounding attractions when checking in.

The location is really close to Ito Station, so I recommend taking a taxi because it's quick to get there by taxi. Since it's an old ryokan, the facilities are old and the stairs creak loudly, but it wasn't a problem. The elderly people bring dinner and breakfast to the room. The food is served with care and is full. The hot spring on the rooftop was nice, and the hot spring on the first floor was nice. However, the hallways and lobby, except for the rooms, don't have heating, so it's quite cold until you go to the bath through the changing room when you go to wash in a yukata. I guess it's because it's winter. The inside of the room is warm because the heater is on. When I checked out, the driver said he would give me a ride to the station, so I was grateful, but when I asked him on the way, he said he was the owner. He was a gentleman who was younger than I thought. I think it's a place I'd like to visit again if I get the chance.

A good ryokan with onsen. Friendly staff, great service. Conveniently accessible from Tokyo by train. Dinner was delicious, Japanese-style breakfast was a bit "not my cup of tea", I can't eat fish for breakfast. But it's good that I bought croissants in the store in advance. Free ride to the station in the morning.
