I stayed here many years ago, so I have some memories. The location is recommended for friends who like quietness. There is a large tea plantation outside. There are not many places to eat nearby, but it is convenient to drive in and out. The upgraded pool view room was very good. I praise the bubble service at the front desk. There is a little smell in the water of one of the three rooms. I look forward to improvement. The elderly are very satisfied with the breakfast. Go to the gym and indoor swimming pool. It would be better if the price is more affordable!

Good: clean, comfortable, especially the bed is comfortable, Japanese style decoration, good reviews
Others, because it is close to Lingyin Temple, in the West Lake Scenic Area, the air is very fresh and smells good
It is about 300 meters away from Lingyin Temple, and it is also super close to Qingchun Pumen, Laoshe and other places to eat, which feels good
Bad: For this price hotel, the bathroom is not separated into dry and wet areas, and the bathroom is still indoors. What does it mean to have a window into the room?
In addition, the room is not soundproof. It is not bad to listen to the sound of rain during Qingming Festival, but it is too noisy. The sound of passing cars going up the stairs can be heard. The windows facing the street should be replaced with double-glazed windows
In terms of transportation, it is not very convenient. It is okay to drive, but it is not so good to take a taxi in the scenic area. You can only take a bus to go out.

The room is very spacious and bright when you open the door. You can see the bamboo outside the window. It makes you feel very fresh. It was raining when you went there, and it was very comfortable with the a**osphere of going to the south of the Yangtze River. The store service is also very patient, and the front desk lady is also very gentle. There is a bathtub in the room. It is really comfortable to play music and take a bath. Five points praise.

The first time I stayed at Jiuli Yunsong during the Chinese New Year, it was convenient to go to Lingyin Temple on the fifth day of the first ***** month. There is a large parking lot outside the hotel. I booked a Yunsong Garden View Room, which has floor heating, VOSS water, and LELABO toiletries. The service is very good, with welcome fruits, milk, and cookies. During the Chinese New Year, I also received a calendar from the First God of Wealth Temple and a blessing from Lingyin Temple. The room is very comfortable, with an automatic toilet. I didn't bring a bathtub cover, which would be even better if the hotel could provide one. The semi-buffet breakfast is served on order, which is more delicate and not easy to waste. It takes more than ten minutes to get to the Lingyin Temple queue. There are also several well-ranked restaurants within a few minutes of the surrounding area. This small and exquisite hotel is quite old, but the overall maintenance is good. I will stay here again is the highest rating.

Just... Average... Not cost-effective...
There is a section from the main road to the hotel where cars cannot drive in and can only walk. The road condition is not very good, and it is a bit inconvenient to drag luggage. You need to go down a flight of stairs to enter the homestay. One side of the stairs is against the wall and the other side has no handrails. It is not very friendly to the elderly. The homestay does not have an elevator, and you need to go up and down the stairs. Elderly people with inconvenient legs and feet should consider carefully.
The room is very small and the layout is a bit cramped. The tea table we stayed in was placed on the ground, and you need to sit on the ground to drink tea, which is very inconvenient for the elderly.
Let's talk about what is worthy of praise. The public area on the first floor of the homestay is well decorated. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and took the initiative to entertain us for tea. The scenery on the outdoor terrace is great. The noodles and wontons made by the aunt for breakfast are quite delicious. The room is well cleaned and very clean.
In summary, because I took my parents on this trip, I felt that this homestay was not very convenient for the elderly, so the experience was not good, but the scenery on the mountain was good and the air was also very good, which was a balance.

Facilities: It looks like a hotel renovated from a courtyard house. It is small but has a lot of secrets inside. The yard is quiet and elegant. Maojiabu Wharf is a hundred meters away. Mao Dun's former residence is in the backyard, which is suitable for individual investors to rest and recuperate.
Hygiene: Wooden houses are a bit damp, but this hotel is well built. It looks a bit old. It is simple but clean. The cleaning lady is also responsive.
Service: The service is excellent. It is like a young man starting a business. The housekeepers are enthusiastic and make people feel like spring breeze and home!
Environment: There are many private dishes and farmhouses around. The hotel is far away from the downtown area. It is most suitable to sit in the hotel yard in the afternoon to listen to the wind and rain. The family stayed here for a week. It was a beautiful spring day and it was very comfortable!

I didn't like the first room at first, but the front desk service was very good and changed me to a better room. Their breakfast here is more than 30 yuan per person, the variety is OK, and it feels quite fresh. The room is clean and tidy, the room is quite large, and the air is good. Not bad.

GGuest UserIt was a very good stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient, the surrounding transportation is convenient, and travel is very convenient. Whether you are traveling to tourist attractions or on a business trip, you can save a lot of time. Entering the hotel lobby, I was attracted by its elegant and warm decoration style. The front desk staff was warm and friendly, and the check-in procedure was quick and efficient. Jingjing took the initiative to introduce me to the hotel's various facilities and surrounding information, which made me feel very considerate.
The room is spacious and bright, the bed is comfortable and soft, the room is fully equipped, clean and tidy, the 65-inch smart projection screen TV is very suitable for watching movies, and the smart toilet and curtains are great. The bathroom, in particular, has a modern design and high-quality supplies, making it very comfortable to use. The hotel's dining service was also excellent. The breakfast has rich varieties and diverse flavors, satisfying my dual needs of deliciousness and health. In general, the location, facilities, services and catering are all excellent, and it is a great value for money accommodation experience.
XXiaoxiaoyoucaiAs a classic, 20-year-old hotel, you can see that the hotel is very attentive in many aspects. Here are a few examples: the hotel uses a lot of wooden structures, including the ceiling and surroundings of the room. If you look closely, there is no dust on the wooden frame; during breakfast, there is a waiter who walks around and keeps adjusting the tablecloth covering the coffee cups to ensure that the tablecloth is always folded at 45 degrees to cover all the coffee cups to be used. Every employee seems to be very attentive to maintaining the hotel instead of just working. Butler Max is also very attentive, responsive to everything, and helps arrange all the activities in the hotel. Dachi Restaurant is super good, every dish is excellent, and you can also directly have room service to deliver meals to the room
IIntrepid Traveller8Lovely hotel in the middle of West Creek/ Xixi National Wetlands Park in Hangzhou. The hotel and service offerings are excellent, located in a very secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle, great for relaxation and enjoying the serene and tranquil surroundings. There is a small lake in the middle of the hotel, which I understand is owned and managed by the hotel. The views are wonderful and better than going to the famed West Lake (way too touristy and crowded). I think this hotel has a lot going for it, even though it’s not a known brand.
I would say some things for improvement are as follows:
Must, must open a spa. AmanFayun, Banyan Tree, Anh Luh and Four Seasons all have spa’s and they’re at roughly the same price point. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but for some people this would put them off from booking here.
Gym. This place needs an on-site gym for obsessed exercise freaks like me (and other health obsessives that want to go to an all-inclusive resort). Also, with the yummy high calorie food offerings in the restaurant, I would like to work those calories off and not worry about getting home fatter than when I left!
Restaurant – Excellent service from the wonderful manager, who I forgot to ask her name and all her staff. Very good manners from all the staff, very quiet voices, barely can hear them speak amongst themselves. However there needs to be more of an international offering for people that visit from outside China (US/ Europe, India/ South East Asia/ Gulf countries, who all would probably stay here in the future). There should be another restaurant that offers international fayre, as well as the traditional Chinese restaurant, so both sets of visitors are catered for, and more choice is always good for people that stay longer than 3 days. And vegetarian/ vegan options would be very appreciated.
The “Savoir resort” is not mentioned on Didi maps or on Baidu maps, and the Chinese name bears absolutely no resemblance to the English name 杭州所见 – 西溪度假酒店. Foreign people may have problems finding this location on their maps/ getting here without help (the less help that is required, the better).
The two top-end rooms (6999 yuan a night and 15,000 yuan a night) cannot be booked on
携程 (Ctrip) or Trip.com. I think there should be 5 – 10 pictures on the site showing these rooms as bookable. I take a long time researching a hotel before booking, so the more information available, the better.
The boat trip in the hotel is way better than the boat trip offered outside the hotel. I really enjoyed it, but I don’t think many people use it, which is a shame of a great resource. The fact this hotel has its own private lake is something that makes it stand out from the other hotels.
PS , I cannot upload my videos of the boat trip inside the hotel's lake because the file is too big :'(
AAnna in ChinaIt was my first trip to Hangzhou. I wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday here and it was totally impromptu. What I was looking for: 1) a closer location to the West lake - to walk there, not to ride; 2) a balcony or courtyard; 3) and/or at least a beautiful view and surroundings; 4) as we love tea and really interested in Chinese tea culture, some tea plantation nearby could be a plus! Not many hotels seemed to meet my requirements and those which fit were way beyond our budget.
Xunzhenshe hotel looked very pretty but their description was not very clear. Anyway, considering that I was booking our room just a day (!) before our arrival on Friday night, Xunzhenshe seemed to be my only choice with just two rooms left. To be honest, I didn’t expect much when we arrived. However, from the beginning the service was outstanding with a personal approach. At the hotel they greeted us as we were VIPs. Celia, an English-speaking lady, who contacted me after my booking, was extremely helpful. She gave us few recommendations about Hangzhou and the area nearby. She showed us the tea plantation just next to the hotel and a room where farmers were drying tea leaves - it was quite short but interesting introduction to the hotel environment.
The hotel itself is owned and managed by a former architect. The building was built based on construction principles of the Song dynasty. As I understand, all ground floor units have their own courtyard. There is a parking lot, a tea room and a restaurant at the hotel. We were given a non-smoking one-bedroom apartment in a quieter part of the hotel and could enjoy our morning tea in our small but elegant courtyard. The apartment was clean with all necessary amenities. There was a kitchen and a dining room with a huge table (we didn’t use this room though). The breakfast buffet was included in the rate, however they offered mostly Chinese food (no problem for us as we love it). Our dinner and breakfast food were delicious!
Also, we so much appreciate totally unexpected birthday presents to my husband. Upon arrival he found a little gift with a touching handwritten birthday message and then birthday noodles were served at the restaurant. So, it was very unique and memorable celebration!
After all, I was really happy with my hotel’s choice.
To conclude what we loved the most about this hotel:
1. Attentive and caring service
2. Nature and beautiful surroundings
3. Very good location: just next to the West lake park and bridges. Walkable distance to the famous night show Impression and Su Causeway. Not far away to Leifeng pagoda and Longjing and Meijiawu villages.
4. Good Chinese restaurant with a terrace just next to the tea plantation
5. Amazing tea
Me and my husband had a great time in Xunzhenshe. Highly recommend it to those who love places with soul.
GGuest UserThe front desk service was very enthusiastic. It was a very satisfactory stay. I had a particularly good impression of the front desk attendant Smile. The room was quite large, the transportation was convenient, and it was close to the subway entrance. I will stay here again next time [Happy]
GGuest UserOakwood Residence Hangzhou has exceeded every expectation, offering an unparalleled stay that truly feels like a second home. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and comfort enveloped us, making our visit a delightful escape.
The apartment is simply breathtaking, with a fully equipped kitchen that boasts every utensil and appliance needed for a self-catering experience. The spaciousness of the living area and bedrooms is remarkable, allowing us to unwind and relax in true luxury. The inclusion of a washing machine was an unexpected bonus, making our stay even more convenient and homely.
The cherry on top? The in-house restaurant serves up a steak that is nothing short of fabulous. Every bite was a culinary delight, perfectly cooked to our preference and served with impeccable service.
Without a doubt, Oakwood Residence Hangzhou has set the benchmark for exceptional hospitality. We are already planning our next visit, eager to relive the magic of this extraordinary home away from home. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a blend of luxury, comfort, and that 'just like home' feeling.
OOTAVOUCHERSI had the pleasure of staying at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou recently, and my experience exceeded all expectations. Whether you are traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers an outstanding combination of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. Below, I’ll provide a detailed breakdown of my experience, from the check-in process to the room quality, dining options, and other facilities.
1. Location – Perfect for Exploring Hangzhou
The location of the hotel is undoubtedly one of its biggest advantages. Situated just a few minutes' walk from the famous West Lake, it is incredibly convenient for those wanting to explore one of China’s most scenic attractions. The proximity to West Lake makes it easy to take early morning or evening walks along the picturesque waterfront, which I found very calming. Additionally, the hotel is close to several popular shopping streets, including Hubin Road, where you can find both luxury brands and local shops. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, giving guests many dining options beyond the hotel itself.
2. Warm and Efficient Check-in Process
From the moment I entered the hotel, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The lobby is spacious, elegant, and well-lit, giving off a luxurious yet comfortable vibe. Check-in was smooth and quick, with the front desk staff offering a welcome drink upon arrival. I appreciated their professionalism—they spoke fluent English and were well-prepared to answer all my questions about nearby attractions and transportation options. One thing that stood out was their attentiveness; they noticed I had traveled a long way and offered to expedite my check-in, which was a thoughtful touch.
3. Spacious and Well-Appointed Rooms
The room I stayed in was a deluxe double with a partial view of West Lake. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the modern amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows and high-quality linens that made it hard to get up in the morning! The room also had a large flat-screen TV, a work desk, and a cozy seating area by the window. The view from my room, although not directly facing the lake, still offered a lovely glimpse of the surrounding cityscape and greenery.
One feature I particularly appreciated was the bathroom, which was clean, modern, and well-equipped with both a bathtub and a rainfall shower. The hotel provided premium toiletries and fluffy towels, which added a touch of luxury to the experience. The housekeeping service was impeccable—my room was always spotless, and they replenished water bottles and amenities daily without me needing to ask.
4. Dining – A Great Variety of Options
The dining experience at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou was truly impressive. The hotel’s main restaurant offers a large breakfast buffet that caters to both Western and Chinese tastes. I enjoyed starting my day with a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and Chinese dim sum. They also had made-to-order noodle and omelet stations, which was a great touch. The food quality was excellent, and the service during breakfast was attentive, with staff regularly refilling coffee and tea without being asked.
In addition to the breakfast buffet, the hotel offers several dining options throughout the day. I dined at their Chinese restaurant one evening, which specializes in Hangzhou cuisine. The dishes were authentic and flavorful—definitely a highlight of my trip. I recommend trying the local specialty, Dongpo Pork, which was cooked to perfection. Room service was also available 24/7, and I tried it once when I returned late from sightseeing. The food was delivered promptly, and the quality was on par with the restaurant meals.
FFeige198211I have been staying at the hotel for a few days, and there is a very inconvenient thing. The hotel does not have a self-service washing machine and dryer! Very inconvenient for business travelers! I remember that when I stayed at Jinjiang Inn hotels in other cities before, they all had them! I often come to Hangzhou for business trips. If not, it is really inconvenient. If possible, please ask the hotel to consider the actual needs of the residents and solve it! I hope to come to the check-in machine later and have a self-service washing machine and dryer! ! ! In addition, it is recommended to replace the hotel slippers with plastic slippers with holes in the bottom. The slippers provided in the hotel are Jinjiang's products for many years! As thin as paper! Jinjiang has always said that after so many generations of product upgrades, what is their use? The basic problems are not solved! ! ! It’s useless to upgrade for another 100 generations! ! !

Very Good
GGuest UserVery satisfied with the stay. Came to Hangzhou with friends. This loft is very suitable for us. There is a bathroom on the upper floor and one on the lower floor. It is much better than those chain brands. The area is also large. The layout is very thoughtful. I will come again next time I visit.
