Clean room best servicefriendly and kind resection highly recommend to every family

Checkin was only possible via a tablet as there is no reception. There was only one available, and there was a long queue to check-in. Also the room was not cleaned in 4 days. Overall, the room was really nice and the location was perfect!

Perfect for short stays

Went to Cologne for weekend. Bit of trouble getting into the lobby as had been text a doorcode, but it didnt work. Another guest in the lobby opened the door. There is no reception staff, a fact that's not clear from the front page of website. Couldn't check in, as was too early. The lockers will only fit a small cabin size bag, not a standard suitcase, again this is not mentioned on the website. There is no other storage. We left and came back once emailed received confirming room number. We checked in and created 2 door cards, which was hassle free. Got to the room and it hadn't been cleaned from previous occupier. We found a cleaner on the same floor and she said she would contact the management. Waited in the lobby, then a woman with a laptop appeared and assigned another room quickly. Why she cannot be at a desk in the lobby instead of hiding in the back I dont know. The room was nice, decorated well and was clean. No kettle though, just a coffee machine. Paid for a King size bed but it was twin beds. Couldn't turn the air extractor off in the bathroom. The breakfast café was ok, just sandwiches and pastries, coffee and juices. Reasonably priced though. Overall an average stay, just don't think the 'no staff' is the right business model in my opinion. There needs to be better access to all sorts of information. There is a tel number you can call though. Just not convenient. Hotel is near the U bahn, so made getting around very convenient, especially with KölnCard.

Spacious, clean room and all newly fit out. The self check-in concept worked really well and was hassle free. Walking distant to key sights in Cologne. Would recommend, especially for the reasonable price.

There is no front desk attendant, and you need to have an internet signal to receive the code to enter the building the initial time. If you are traveling, be sure to have cellular service.

The interior of the hotelroom was perfect and the location is fine. The check in is online, so without any staff, that was okay. Unfortunately the hotelroom was quite dirty. The toilet seat was dirty, hairs in the shower, hairs on the bed and a dirty carpet next to the bed. We called to have an extra clean after arrival, but after that the same hairs were still in the shower... We did get some drinks and chips to apologize. Also we missen a little fridge, a water boiler and a little closet or something else to hang up your coat. I would not recommend this hotel for a stay longer than one night and/or if you care about hygiene.

The app worked fine until the final night. We came back around midnight to find we couldn't open the hotel door. At this point the lack of staff did feel like an issue

Family of 4 with two teenage children. We all appreciated the extra privacy of the curtained bunk beds and appreciated the little shelf to keep phones and book etc! Comfortable beds and clean room

The only issue was the Tv it’s wasn’t working due to the network being unstable :/ nothing could be done about it.

The room showed signs of wear. There was marks on the walls and on the two small fabric seats. The shelf within the bottom sleeping compartment was also heavily stained. This was a shame, as we stayed the previous week in the same type of room and it felt new

The hotel itself is in good condition and whilst I understand that technology is used instead of people and that this enables savings to be put into lower prices and sustainable products, unfortunately the only staff that were onsite every morning were the people that make up the rooms who were EXTREMELY noisy in the morning, screaming and shouting to each other as they made up neighbouring rooms. To make it worse as the rooms are only serviced every other day, we were literally forced to listen to it for at least an hour each morning (until we actually had to get up and ask them to be quiet several times), so we were disturbed even on the days we shouldn't have been. Lose lose in my opinion. Some kind of supervision is needed. I suspect also low rates of pay are involved for these staff and so I would question the hotel's true sustainabilty agenda and credentials - perhaps have a look at UN SDG 8.

Enjoyed the space and the ease of entry without keys- beds were comfy and the bathroom facilities like rain head shower and towel warmer elevated the experience. Appreciated the hairdryer that actually worked and mirror lighting- felt like I could wash and dry my hair nicely. Thanks
