Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan Reviews

The service was warm and attentive, and the room had a great location overlooking the Han River. It offered direct access to Yongsan Station and a department store. The suite design was excellent. We had a wonderful trip to Seoul with friends~

I booked a twin room this time, and it was quite spacious with a separated wet and dry bathroom. The room was generally tidy. However, the layout felt a bit odd; one of the beds was uncomfortably close to the bathroom door, about 2cm away, and there was no bedside table next to it. The hotel is located in a building with several other hotels, and you can access Yongsan Station via a second-floor walkway that connects to a large shopping mall. Getting around by taxi is convenient, but I couldn't find a convenience store downstairs from the hotel.

Location: Connected to Yongsan Station by a skybridge, the hotel is a convenient 5-minute walk away. Yongsan Station is only two stops from Seoul Station. An Uber from Incheon Airport costs about 250 RMB and takes approximately an hour, which is also very convenient. Room: This is almost the largest hotel room I've ever stayed in, at 40 square meters. It features a two-seater sofa and a recliner, plus a kitchen. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The bed was a bit small, probably only 80 cm. Service: The front desk staff was incredibly beautiful, just like Korean celebrities, and they even gave us a room with a view of Namsan Tower. So grateful! Environment: Novotel Suites and Novotel are in the same building, but their elevators are separate, so be sure to note the distinction. Value for money: For New Year's Day in Seoul, it was just over 800 RMB per night. Although breakfast wasn't included, for such a great location and a spacious room, it was an incredible value. Highly recommend! I hope to experience the breakfast next time.

We celebrated New Year's Day here with our kids and parents, and the hotel was perfect. The rooms were spacious, the location was great, and the service was excellent. There's a skybridge connecting to the subway station and the iPartment mall, so dining and getting around were a breeze. The location is truly convenient; Seoul isn't that big, so you can get pretty much anywhere by subway within half an hour.

Great view, easy to move around as the hotel has a linked bridge to nearest KTX and subway station! And very close to Lotte mall. Great for a last minute shopping 😛 Han River view was awesome ❤️

Amazing stay with awesome view. The Cinnamoroll theme room and the mega platters were good as well. Recommended and worth the price.

The staff were friendly. The rooms were clean, cosy and comfortable. Close proximity to Yongsan station and Ipark mall.

We stayed with my friend in October. Good location, near the mall, not far from Hangang. Excellent service, we asked for higher floor and get 36 which was really cool view to Seoul and Namsan Tower. Room was great, we ordered with twin beds, there also were everything for comfort stay. During the cleaning sometimes we didn’t get coffee capsules, but it’s okay. There was a separate entrance which also was convenient for going straight to elevator.

Great location, amenities are all perfect. Room is spacious. Will return again.

I came for my honeymoon and stayed at the Junior King Suite for the whole trip. Services are excellent and the cleanliness of the room is tip-top. Room is always cleaned when I came back for the day. Also, the staffs are friendly, helpful and kind. Only thing is, to get an Uber to return to the hotel is a little challenging because drivers hesitate to accept due to the distance from the city. But regardless of that, Novotel Suite is still a great place to stay! 🎊🎊😁 All in all, I would recommend this place.

I came back to my room, and they haven’t done the bedding. They just came to collect the trash. The swimming pool is very small with a lot of people.

the place was so near the metro station (connected to linked bridge). it is so convenient to get around! there are also nearby convenience stores, coffee shops and even pharmacy at the train station. staff was friendly and very accomodating. their housekeeping staff accidentally threw away a packaging meant for our kimchi. we called the front desk and although it was difficult, they went out of their way to get a new one for us. each time something was not replaced in the room, we just called and they responded real quick! our aircon went off and could not work on our last night, they had to come in a repair but it was so fast too. truly deserving of a 5-star review. the view from my hotel room? phenomenal. also, which hotel has a washing machine with laundry detergent provided? yes this one! i love love love it. i will visit again and will make this my to-go hotel each time i am in seoul.

Great breakfast! There is a huge selection, there are fruits, sliced fish, cheeses. The lovely suite rooms are large and have a kitchenette and washing machine. There is a shopping center nearby, and there are many cafes in it. There is a place to walk. The construction site in front of the hotel is a bit confusing. The overall impression is of quality and reliability.

We had a series of issues. The extra sofa bed was so hard that my family had trouble sleeping on two nights. Normally rollaway beds are too soft rather than too hard, but this was really uncomfortable even for my 12 year old son. Our powder form medicine that was in a plastic zip locked bag went missing the next day. They said it wasn’t taken or disposed or, but we looked in every corner of the room and still couldn’t find it. I saw long hair in parts of the washroom after it was cleaned. The shower strength is very weak and I think it’s because the shower heads are old. The room walls definitely has a bit of wear and tear. The design of the suite is very strange where you actually feel very cramped despite the room size, and it’s because a lot of space is occupied by empty closets and drawers. The breakfast range and quality is so so. The better parts of the stay was probably the check in process, the view from the room, the CU convenience store inside the building, and the PS5 that kept my son entertained while we shopped. Probably will think twice before staying at a Novotel.
