Algiers Marriott Hotel Bab Ezzouar

This hotel is the worst I've ever stayed in on a business trip. Although it's advertised as a Four-Diamond hotel, it's actually worse than even the Four Seasons in China. 1. The bedside tablecloth was peeling, and the room wasn't cleaned properly. 2. The bathroom had either a faulty shower head or a faulty showerhead. The water was either too hot or too cold, and I couldn't adjust the temperature. The water was soft and weak, and it took a long time to shower. 3. There was no hair dryer in the room, and after I asked for one, it took nearly 40 minutes to arrive. 4. There was no shower gel or shampoo dispenser in the bathroom, requiring you to bend down to get it. This is unexpected infrastructure for a Four-Diamond hotel. 5. The breakfast was average, with a limited selection. 6. The front desk clerk still deducted 4,800 DZD from my deposit, even though I clearly told them my bill included city taxes. I had a flight to catch, and I didn't want to waste time arguing. I later contacted customer service for a refund, but the service was truly abysmal! The hotel receptionist asked me how my stay was, and I told him the truth: "It was such a terrible experience in this hotel!!!"

I used it for transit. When I tried to request a bus shuttle service from the airport to the hotel on the day of the trip, I felt uneasy because the phone number listed on trip.com and the website could not be connected for about 9 hours. We recommend that you request it in advance. There seems to be one train every hour to take us back to the airport, so they arranged it for us. Other services were fine. For breakfast, although there wasn't a lot of variety, there were several types of Algerian sweets that I enjoyed. The bread was also delicious.

Very nice hotel, located 10 minutes by car from the airport and 5 minutes on foot from the Bab Ezzouar shopping center.

The breakfast is very good and rich. The hotel also has a shuttle bus to the new airport.

Hotel service is very good
