I had a fantastic stay. The room was spacious and offered a lovely view from the 13th floor. The hotel's location is just a 5-minute walk to the metro, making it super convenient for exploring the area. There are also two handy convenience stores nearby, which made grabbing snacks and essentials a breeze. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were attentive. Highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and prime location!

I enjoyed my stay tremendously and at awe of the level of service from all the staff of this hotel. From the bellhop to the concierge to the maid, everyone here is professional and courteous only the highest class hotels in the US can match. Here they are doing it without expectations of tips... I traveled solo and as a single guy and not expecting much. I am surprised at the service and comfort I got that are exceeding my expectations.

It's in a great location, within walking distance of public transportation and pretty much all Xinbeitou places of interest. The staff were very kind and friendly. Our room was very large and the bed was big and comfortable too. The free snacks, tea and coffee were a nice touch. I read other reviews complaining that the rooms are old and in need of renovation. The curtains were old and had holes in them, but other than that our room was in good condition. We made good use of the hot spring bath, which was our main reason for coming up to Beitou. I was surprised that bathrobes were not provided, which would have been appreciated. The bathroom stayed damp after using the steamy hot bath on the first day, but the cleaning staff wiped it down on the second day. If it hadn't been quite so cold outside we could have opened the bathroom window to let it dry out more quickly. Breakfast was typical buffet style, maybe not enough variety for typical Westerners, but we were satisfied with the selection. All in all, it's a nice hotel for visiting Xinbeitou area and having your own large hot spring bath.

Old yet well maintained. Check in was a breeze, reception lady was very friendly and allowed for early check in at about 2.15pm as our room is ready. We were also given free upgrade yay! Breakfast is basic, nothing to shout about. Free shuttle to and from Beitou and Xinbeitou stations definitely great, just need to refer to shuttle schedule and be at the designated waiting spot at the stations. For shuttle from hotel to station though, you will need to reserve first.

Very good hotel for hot spring inside the room, where you can enjoy the mountain view and away from the city. There is shuttle bus from the station which is convenience. The room is very big and spacious. If you are looking for a relax hot spring holiday I would definitely recommend this hotel. The breakfast is included and the food has many choice from traditional ********* food to western style breakfast.

Arrived at night, thank you for the room location, the view from the bathroom window was very relaxing. As for the equipment, it feels old. The door has a traditional key lock. After it is fully unlocked, it is even a little difficult to push open. You have to treat it with caution, for fear that the door handle will be removed by yourself. It is also a very interesting experience. My expectations for breakfast were not high, but after enjoying the meals, everything was good except that the custard buns were too dry. The only thing was that the attitude and tone of the staff when dealing with it were not very polite, but it was still within my tolerance range.

The hotel room is very tidy. The mountain view room has floor-to-ceiling glass on both sides, which is very beautiful when the sun shines. Only the bathroom is supplied with hot spring water, so there has been scale on the faucet for a long time. This is not a big problem. The biggest shortcoming is that the bathtub was not cleaned enough, leaving some old mud stains from previous residents on the bottom of the bathtub. I hope it can be improved! Breakfast was served in the lobby on the ground floor. The food quality and selection were satisfactory. I appreciated that vegetarian options were available and other food was also delicious. The hotel has a hollow design, and the natural light from the roof falls into the restaurant. The restaurant area itself is spacious enough, making it feel as comfortable as being in an open-air place.

The hotel's location is truly exceptional, conveniently situated in the centre of that small town. This made it incredibly easy for me to explore the area and get around without any hassle. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, offering helpful recommendations and attending to my every need.I felt truly cared for and catered to throughout my time at Just Sleep Hotel. It truly is a home away from home. I will definitely be returning for my next visit to the city.

Stayed 2 nights in this property over Typhoon Kong-Rey. Love the in-room hot spring, the one-time usage of minibar & the availability of water dispenser in every level. Location of hotel is also very strategic. Thankful to the team for taking care of us during Typhoon Kong-Rey by offering umbrella, checking where we are going, advising us to be careful of the weather & also offering car rides to keep us safe.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the MRT station, and is a bustling destination in a quiet location. The hotel is full of Japanese style, simple and elegant. There are free happy hour snacks and drinks before 7pm, which is very enjoyable. The room was comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was a bit dark. There are two hot spring bathtubs, hot and cold. Overall feeling satisfied. The breakfast is also very Japanese style. Worth recommending.

The hotel is located mid-level in Beitou, away from the busy Xinbeitou Station, and the surrounding area has the feel of a hot spring area. We arrived by taxi, we had suitcases, and the hotel specially arranged a room on the second floor for us. The uncle also took our luggage from the reception desk to the room for us, which was very considerate. The room is large, very clean and decorated in Japanese style. The white sulfur spring hot spring water is very comfortable. Breakfast is on the first floor and is delicious. Luggage can be stored after check-out. We went out to play. Geothermal Valley Park, Beitou Library, and Hot Spring Museum are all within reach. There are also restaurants and convenience stores nearby. After 3 o'clock, you can ask the hotel to load your luggage and send it to the area near Xinbeitou Station without going back to the hotel.

It is an old hotel. Yet, after the recent refurbishment, the conditions have been upgraded significantly. The bath keeps its old-fashioned style, which makes the bathing experience resonate with the local history, In a positive way. The service is very good. The water is strong; the hot spring is milky white. Some may complain about the smell in the rooms; however it is normal from the odor of the real local hot spring. The sound proof is, admittedly, not that good but acceptable. The thing I would feel negative is their breakfast. But it is elder and vegetarian friendly. And, come on, see the price and others. There is no roomfor complaint.

Before we arrived, I emailed the hotel to require assistance from hotel to check for private charter car service for YiLan and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, front desk staff was a little cold (unlike what people mentioned in the reviews). We were swiftly checked in and could go up to the room. Hotel lobby is very cosy and welcoming, but the rooms are starting to look a little old with moulding and wear and tear. Very large, spacious and clean room. If I'm not wrong, the water to fill up the tub is not hot spring water but just normal tap/shower water. If you're looking for a hotel with with hot spring water, do take note. Location of the hotel is great though. We were very near Jiaoxi bus transfer station and managed to walk to our hotel within 5 mins. There are restaurants and fast food, bar, and a shopping area nearby. Jiaoxi hot spring night market (only open on Sundays) is 4mins drive away and Yilan train station was 10mins on foot. Breakfast service was great! Staff were quick to clear and set up tables without making us feel like we were being chased out. They were also very sweet. On our 3rd morning, we needed to leave to rush for our bus to Taoyuan, we were holding our luggages and they directed us to store our luggages with the front desk first. They saw that we were in a rush and told us that we could let them know if we're would like to take along some snacks or drink to accompany us on our trip. They even bid us good bye. Check out process was smooth with an aloof staff. Felt like he couldn't be bothered.

This is an excellent hotel! It looks clean and posh; both interior and exterior and there is a hot spring tub in the room! Room is not that extremely big but is good enough for the 3 of us! Hotel staff lady warned us of big group during our stay and prealerted us in advance to come early for breakfast in order to avoid the massive jam. What a good gesture! Breakfast spread is good and I like the overall hotel vibe. Regretted that we should have stayed for another night if time permits! Nothing else to fault, all almost perfect!

Hotel very new, the “residence” has bigger rooms and is quieter. I don’t think the inconvenience is that big a problem, the peace and quiet is better The onsen tub is large and the room is very spacious and new All great

Breakfast is served until 1:30 pm with a wide variety of options The mini bar in the room is very good with beer, fruit vinegar, sparkling water, and juice. Snacks that are down to earth: Samsung green onion-flavored biscuits and tongue biscuits The bed is not soft. Very satisfied. The air conditioning is strong enough, the water volume of the bathtub in the room is large, and you don't have to wait long to take a bath We provide tea seed hall bath products and hair conditioner The hair dryer is small but has plenty of airflow, even for long hair. The second floor has a reading area, a gym, and a snack bar. Two types of tea and four types of snacks are provided (no duplication with those in the room) There is a late-night snack at 9-10pm on weekends. It is hot food (it was meatball rice noodle soup on that day) There is also a small garden on the eighth floor with tables and chairs provided If you want to use the public pool, please remember to bring your swimsuit. You can also buy it on site. Just roll up your trouser legs for the foot bath in the fish pond There are water dispensers on each floor, but hot water is only available on the first floor. A kettle is provided in the room. As soon as I entered the room, I found hair on the quilt and the room smelled a bit damp. It is recommended to open the small door next to the bathtub to create a small gap for ventilation The exhaust fan in the bathroom is connected to the light, and even if the curtains are closed, it is impossible to completely block out the light. The soundproofing is average. In the morning, you can hear the sound of the staff pushing the spare parts cart (´･_･`)

The room we booked was a loft style room. The room itself is very compact , so there wasn’t any area to actually sit and relax sadly. The bathroom was very tight and the onsen itself wasn’t very big but sufficient. However, there is an open hot spring on the roof top. The swimming pool was good as well as was the good size jacuzzis which my toddler loved. Breakfast had good selection. Dinner was very quiet and heard we were their first customers on their soft opening. The food was good overall. The location is good as it’s smack bang in the middle of town with lots of tourist wondering around. I think this hotel just lacks that extra thoughtful touch for their clients , eg. Robes, little welcome notes which some of the other 4 star hot spring hotels nearby do pay attention to. The walk wall to the room had a musky odour but the staff were curious and helpful, especially when next room were making noises up until late ! I would suggest a change of uniform for the stay because they all seem to wear a white work shirt and black trousers which is so eighties! Also, there is a middle age gentlemen I saw walking around all day and night, usually eating at the restaurant and sitting at the front lounge with his laptop working. I’m wondering if he’s the Manager/ GM, because if he is , I would suggest he smile a little because he did seem very grumpy and miserable . I could be wrong .

Best hotel I've went to so far in Yilan! Loved the spacious room and bathroom - was surprised to see two televisions in the room haha. Everything felt luxurious and clean! What's most important is the super King bed - had a really good sleep :) Pretty convenient located nearby restaurants and shops!

The location is about a 5-7 min walk from Jiaoxi station. The room is spacious and well kept. Breakfast is decent and the spread is adequate. The Hot Spring in the hotel room is the highlight of the room. Good view & excellent service by the hotel staff. Special mention to the staff, Kelvin Lim for the warmth hospitality shown.

I specially brought my children to play, but the game room is very simple and requires a fee. The opening hours of the parent-child fitness center are very short and the space is not big. The hotel hardware is good although it is older, but it is still clean. There are really few service staff. All services are required. It’s really hard to wait and wait for breakfast. Many things are not replenished. The cafe on the first floor is also very hard to eat. It’s hard to believe that the food in this hotel is of this level. I was full of expectations for this hotel. Now I can only say that I probably won’t visit again.

Room is quite large than expect, the hotel has onsen and fitness room but it open at 2 pm which is a little bit weird for people who want to exercise in the morning, some amenities have to ask in the front desk. But over all is ok. The price for new year period is ridiculous expensive even the hotel is very far from the city, anyway you can get the bus in front the hotel and there is 7-11 next to.

I booked a hotel more than a month in advance and contacted the hotel counter to request a room on a high floor. However, I was later told that the restaurant company was having a wedding event and was overcrowded that day. It only took 1 minute to check in. The receptionist was impatient and arranged a room on a lower floor. I asked I was impatient even though I had no time. The parking lot was completely full and we circled around a few times. Fortunately, the security guard provided good service and gave us his private parking space. This is the only part worth thanking.

The room was really nice! big! It feels like I stayed in a room on Paradise Island at a low price. XD The hot spring bathtub in the room is also very good, which is enough for two people to soak at the same time. The mattress is indeed harder than that of an average hotel. It's not the kind that makes you feel soft and sink into the bed, but it's not so hard that you can't sleep on it. The sofa in the living room is really comfortable, and it's quite nice to watch TV in the living room. It's a pity that the air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted, it can only be turned on and off. There is an option to select heating and air supply on the smart control panel, but when you press it, it feels like it just turns off the air conditioning. It was winter with the temperature over 10 degrees when we checked in. It was very cold when the air conditioner was on, and very stuffy when it was not on. The large balcony can be used for ventilation in the morning, but the air conditioning is inconvenient when you close the doors and windows at night. Overall it is very good and highly recommended.

The environment is beautiful. The overall appearance of the hotel is old, but the rooms are very big. The most surprising thing is that the ceiling of the room is well designed and very beautiful. I like it very much. There are many kinds of breakfast included (sukiyaki). Dissatisfaction is that the hot springs do not have staff to clean the leaves regularly.

Good - Hotel has complimentary access to hot spring facility. Great breakfast with huge variety of foods. It will be good if hotel can provide more complimentary umbrellas for guest at entrance as it is raining season in December. Nice sea view from the room. Restaurant offer steamboat dinner option, but pricing is on the high side. Overall, good hotel for families especially those with kids as this hotel provide free access to various activities at game room.

Conveniently located on the beach, a five minute walk from the train station. The room was large and clean. Bed were very comfortable. Lots of amenities. I like that the room had two toilets. The breakfast was copious, so much choice, mostly Chinese foods but delicious. The only thing I would say is the down side of this hotel is that the façade looks run down. It desperately needs a new paint job to look like a luxury hotel. The inside is really nice but the outside looks abandoned. But I noticed this is often the case with many buildings in Taiwan. The upkeep of the façade doesn’t seem important to them.

Beautiful modern hot springs resort! The rooms are extremely large, and the in-room tub is especially lovely to have given that the public bath closes a bit early (I believe it was at 20:30). The staff is helpful and speaks English. The public bath is large, clean, well-designed, and has a nice view of the mountains. Breakfast was not bad but nothing special. I would definitely recommend Pause Landis for a great stay in Wulai!

The hotel has all the facilities that the hotel should have, but the only regret is that there are less choices in the morning meal, and the drinks only have milk and soy milk. Other than that, the facilities in the hotel are not bad and the atmosphere is good! ! There is also a bathtub for taking a bath, the water is clear and perfect for relaxing!
