The hotel boasts an excellent location facing the Fen River, offering beautiful riverside views. The rooms are well-equipped with amenities like smart toilets, a huge TV, and a complimentary minibar. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices. Right next to the hotel, there's a restaurant that's clean, affordable, and delicious, serving both noodles and rice dishes with generous portions at great prices. The hotel also provides a high-speed train station shuttle service, though reservations are required. Overall, this hotel is fantastic! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Linfen!

I've always loved Kempinski, and this Taiyuan location offered another excellent overall experience. The service was top-notch, with prompt responses to all my requests. The hotel is conveniently located near the commercial district, and it's less than a 20-minute drive from the South Railway Station. The call center always went above and beyond, being very generous with their assistance. Staying on a higher floor with a street view also provided a nice outlook. The only, and I mean *only*, thing is that it would have been even better if the breakfast selection could have been a bit more diverse. My child was very happy too.

This was my second stay at Jianguo Hotel Yungang, and it was quite satisfying. The front desk saw my room preferences (non-smoking, quiet) and provided a room that met my expectations, which was great! The breakfast selection was as plentiful as ever. This time, there were a lot of guests, so they opened up several additional dining areas. Even with more people getting food, the supply was very timely. The late-night congee service was also a thoughtful touch; Xiao Zhang and Xiao Hu, who were in charge, were diligent and quick, refilling items promptly. When they had a free moment, they even chatted with guests, which felt very warm and welcoming. On the last day, before checking out, I noticed they were paving asphalt and filling potholes outside the entrance. This was tough for the several couples getting married that day – it was hard for cars to get in, and the newlyweds had to get out of their cars and enter the hotel while enduring the black smoke from the asphalt. I hope the hotel can consider local customs and feelings, and schedule such construction for a different time. Before I left, I noticed a super-sized croissant on the in-room dining menu, which piqued my interest. It looked like sliced hua mo (steamed flower bun). I'll have to see the real thing next time, haha!

The hotel's location is excellent, with Willow Lane, the Drum Tower, and the Shanxi Merchants Museum all within walking distance. The room type we booked was incredibly spacious, a suite with an inner and outer living area, two bathrooms, and a bathtub. Being on a high floor, the views were expansive, and the streetscape at night was beautiful. Parking requires using the Shanxi Merchants Museum parking lot, which is over 300 meters from the hotel. My family loved this large room, and we hope to visit again if we have the chance.

The staff were so so friendly and super nice!!! Told them it was our honeymoon and there was a handwritten note with fruits and snacks waiting for us on the table. They didn't have to, but they did ☺️ when we left, we were rushing for the train and didn't have time to eat breakfast. The staff were so concerned we were skipping breakfast she quickly packed some food for us to go and even ran after us to pass us cutlery because she forgot to pack some. Would recommend staying here 10/10!

I was in this city again for a business trip and decided to stay here. When we checked in, the hotel told us that the hotel next door was under renovation and it would affect our rest during the day. Actually, it didn't bother me much, as we weren't in our rooms during the day anyway. Now, let me talk about the environment. The hotel has a warm, wood-toned design, the lobby is bright and inviting, and the rooms have smart home controls, which are convenient and easy to use. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable! Just outside the hotel, there are convenient restaurants and shops along the street, and it's also close to the bus station, making transportation easy. I'm very satisfied with my stay here!

Its classic Chinese design beautifully reflects traditional Northern Chinese architecture, perfectly complementing the ancient city's charm. The rooms are fully equipped, even featuring a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary bottled water, Sprite, Coke, bananas, apples, tea, coffee, paper cups, and disposable face towels. A tea set is also provided, adding a cozy, home-like touch. The courtyard is adorned with lush greenery, seating, and picturesque landscaping, ideal for sunbathing. At night, it transforms with brilliant lights, creating a unique and enchanting ambiance. It's about a 10-minute walk from the ancient city's North Gate parking lot, with dedicated staff available to assist with luggage. Surrounded by numerous shops, it offers incredible convenience for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The staff are warm, friendly, and provide excellent service. Overall, it's a fantastic guesthouse within the ancient city.

The location is excellent, very close to some of Taiyuan's most famous streets, next to Ninghua Mansion. The aroma of vinegar brings back memories of years ago when I would buy vinegar before leaving Taiyuan, piping hot ✺◟（∗❛ัᴗ❛ั∗）◞✺ It truly allows you to experience the daily life of a Shanxi vinegar enthusiast. Bell Tower Street, Kaihua Temple, Food Street, and Shanxi Restaurant are all within walking distance. This newly opened hotel offered a fantastic overall experience: elegant environment, cleanliness, complete facilities, friendly and attentive staff, perfect for a tourist stay. I'll definitely come back next time.

Highly recommended! A rated five-star hotel truly lives up to its name. We arrived quite early and there wasn't a suitable room available, so they immediately upgraded us to a larger room (which was perfectly spacious). All our daily needs were met, and they even offered pear soup at night because Datong's weather is so dry, showing great respect for every guest. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fine in terms of quality (there's a photo of the breakfast knife-cut noodle chef). I also particularly recommend the hotel's Chinese restaurant (there's a photo of us taking food to go for our high-speed train). On our last day, we were rushing from Datong back to Beijing to catch our high-speed train. We misjudged our time at Yingxian Wooden Pagoda and Hanging Temple, but still wanted to enjoy Datong cuisine on the train. We went to the hotel's Chinese restaurant, and the lady who greeted us was incredibly warm and efficient. The chefs were also super impressive, preparing our desired dishes for takeout in just 20 minutes. We made it to the train just in time and enjoyed a fantastic meal on board. I just had to leave a review – our Datong trip was perfect! (There are photos of cats at various attractions).

This was my second stay, and once again, the room was spotless and tidy. The service was excellent, the location was convenient, and it offered great value for money. My stay was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. A big thank you to the front desk and restaurant staff, who were all incredibly warm and attentive!
