We had a great time staying at the Dao by Dorsett AMTD Singapore during Christmas this year.
We were warmly welcome by the staff during checkin. The staff was very friendly and even gave my baby a teddy bear as a welcoming gift.
We stayed at the two bedrooms suite which was perfect for our family. We could prepare food for the baby in the kitchen and enjoyed dinner at the dinning room altogether.
The location of the hotel is really convenience. It’s walkable distance to the infamous maxwell food center, the Chinatown and MRT station. The pick up spot for grab just right downstairs.
We highly recommended this hotel.

The hotel functions like a business hotel. Lack of warm hospitality that I witness in some other hotel chain.
I was lost in the room as there were no communication as to what number to dial for conceirge. Only a number for housekeeping and they had to forward the call for me.
When asked for late checkout, the answer was an unapologetic No. I guess the hotel has great business.
And the bath was choked but they got it fixed. Plumber was fast and friendly but of course, it was still precious time wasted waiting for the bath to be fixed.FromSGD 246

First time staying here since Covid. Check-in was fast. It was a self check-in system. Only thing is that they didnt accept contactless mode of payment for the hotel deposit. So i still had to proceed to the counter to complete my check-in as i did not have my physical credit card with me. Not an issue.
There was a lift leading straight to the carpark. Very useful and helpful. Room size was acceptable. Not huge but not small either. There was a filtration system for drinking water. Therefore, no bottled water was provided. But then again, Singapore’s tap water is pretty much safe for drinking unless otherwise stated. Loved the rainshower in the room.
I did not get the opportunity to try out the gym and the wellness services in the hotel. Will definitely find an opportunity to try them out someday.FromSGD 289

I love how the hotel building is integrated with greeneries.
Upon checking in, initially they gave us a wrong room. Called the concierge and they were able to send someone up with the new keys to the room!
Shortly after checking in, the concierge called us to check in on us if everything is perfect, they also wished me on my anniversary and sent up a written card, a slice of cake and a box of chocolate!
A few hours later we also called for extra pillows and toiletries, they were able to send it up quickly.
The next morning we had buffet breakfast downstairs at the Lime restaurant. The spread was wide and we were spoilt for choices.
Overall we had a really comfortable stay and the service is top notch! Everything is so well thought out. So if you’re thinking to book this hotel, think no more, just do it. You will not be disappointed :D

Booked the harbor view room for a short staycation. The room is not cheap but the view made it all worth it. It was raining the first day so we could not use the pool. One of the male concierge was great at his work, not sure if his name was carlo but he was very friendly and helpful. Room was great, location was great. It felt like home, even at the lounge. Cozy room, though the amenities are not new. We loved the pool and the bath tub in the Club Room. The pool is clean. The food is ok, even if the buffet area is a bit lacking in light. Same for the whole hotel, in general -- a bit lacking in brighter lights. The staff are friendly and accommodating, along with the convenient process of restocking supplies in the room.

Great hotel if you’re heading to Universal Studio as it offered a free return shuttle service. It’s still about 30mins drive away. The hotel is pretty minimalistic- very small room, comfortable bed, tv, and has a pool. I liked the ice/water machine instead of bottled water and they provided 2 carafes to fill water/ice with. Staff were great. There were 2 restaurants but I didn’t use them. There were metro/bus station across the street with malls within 10min walk away. There was also a street market near the metro station, not sure if it opened every night. My only gripe- I turned on the Do Not Disturb sign but still got interrupted by Housekeeing. My repeated staycation at Holiday Inn Atrium. The room is comfortable and clean with a bath tub to relax in. The staff is friendly and approachable. The swimming pools are great to relax around and swim in. There is a big variety of food served at the cafe at level 4. It is also next to the TEL Havelock Station, so it makes travelling very convenient. It is just a short walk to the Tiong Bahru Market where lots of local food are served. Great World City is just a train stop away. There are also a few massage parlours next to the hotel where one can get a good massage. First time trying their club room. Was given a corner room with extra space despite last min booking. There is a special check in counter for club room at level 21 and private pool for club room and above. There is a schedule for the wellness activities provided by the hotel and u need to scan their QR code to make reservation. There is complimentary mini bar however I noticed there is no bath amenities for the bathtub like bath salt and the scrub etc. not sure if all this should be included inside or not? The club lounge (indoor and outdoor) was quite a nice place to chill and staff were quite flexible. The spread for evening cocktails and canapés were quite decent. We need to order the drinks via the staff and they will indicate on a piece of paper. Which I think is kinda wasting the paper. They took out new food even when it’s already 7plus. Located is between Clark Quay and Chinatown . Clark Quay MRT station just across the hotel after 200 meters walk. So many restaurants around Clark quay area pubs and bars closes at the wee hour in the morning when u want to grab a food at late night. At Chinatown pointe u can taste hawker style meal and just price supermarket is at basement 2. The hotel reception staff are super friendly namely Ms Angel, Gracial and Bonnie. The downside is the super soft bed which I prefer firmer mattress. I love the bay window sofa where u can relax after a day walk. The room at the 5th floor is a bit old. Need to refurbish for a better stay. Actually the rooms at the second flr was newly renovated already. Buffet breakfast is good plenty of spread.
